I was working at a Media Play store that stocked WWF(e) figs, and I'd bought one for a friend as a "gag" birthday present for a friend, then started looking at them myself. The first one I got was TTL 8 (or 7?) Buh Buh Ray Dudley w/ breakaway table and a Jeff Hardy from the same series w/ a Ladder. within the week I'd finished out the series (Matt Hardy, Road Dogg, The Rock, Rikishi...), and bought all I could find. JAKKS was messing with us way back then too, not giving me a D'Von for many many series to come, and I'm pretty sure the 1st one was in a 2-pack. DERRR!!!
(I of course was a child in the 80's and have had a couple LJN's and Hasbros too, but the TTLs were when I started collecting figs on my own time with my own money.)

I got 6 figures all at once for christmas.
I got the raw is war monster ring with referee,stonecold and hbk. Then in a second mail order box taka,kane and brian pillman.
TTL the first figure I bought with own money was a non real scan rock.

Ripped and Ruthless Kane. Then I got a BCA Savio Vega shortly after and a BCA HBK( in red heart tights).
I remember I got the Kane at a Toys R Us on the way to the beach. I lost his mask( removable) in the sand while walking and somehow..incredibly..I ended up finding it.
Considering Ripped & Ruthless figures look horrible, that Kane was actually pretty cool. It was his first figure to have a removable mask, so it was pretty interesting( since it would be years before it came off for real).

Mine was a BCA Al Snow. Then I stopped for a while then my little brother was getting TTL figures and that got me started again. I don't remember what TTL it was to get me started again tho.

it allll started many years ago...i was givven a rubber ljn hogan figure in yellow i then got andre with blue trunks and long hair,later the parents bought me john studd,followed by vince and then sheik then etc,...few years down the line they started making the hasbro so i collected those...years go by and jaaks is out my 1st jaak sfigure was a glow in the dark undertaker,after than i jsut started collecting alot of them specially the rock and warrior so my collection looks pretty good now im at the classic line and thats what i like most.

My First Figures when i started Re-collecting was DA1 HHH,Cena,Batista and Orton and my First Ever Figure was some of the Hasbros my sister passed on

First TTL; Ken Shamrock I think.
First R3; Billy/Chuck.
First RA; Entire RA1 set except Brock Lesnar.
First CS; CS8 Jerry Lawler.

My first ever wrestling figure was a Smash And Slam Sting. It is quite amazingly the only one of my Smash and Slam figures that the legs didn't snap when i did the action on them (Damn shoddy Toybiz quality control!  ), and i still have it today. The coat comes in handy for various figures, at the moment it's on my Sean O Haire custom. But I don't count that part because I was not a serious collector then. I bought TTL6 Austin and Rock (I think they were in the same series) a while later, and they were my first TTLs, but really I count RA collecting as my real collection days and therefore that honour goes to Raw Uncovered Kurt Angle, although the reason I bought it was because I couldn't find a TTL Angle without hair. I quit for a good while after that because I didn't see anyone more I wanted but then my real collection began with CS2 Dude Love, who i just thought looked gobsmacking and I remember wanting Mankind from the set and still do. I must have close to 100 figures now if not more. |

I was watching it for a few years before I got into collecting and in about 2001 I got my first figures, TTL Double pack 'Taker (great fig but he has not tatoos haha) and SCSA. Then it just kind of snowballed.

My first figure came about in probably 2002 when my friend started collecting.. then we started going to tesco nearly every Saturday and got new figures, we love it and we never stopped. He stopped about 2 years ago which was a bummer. My first fig happened to be for my 11th Bday and i got Final Count The Rock and Chris Jericho i think..

Well i got into wrestling a long time ago. Then my friends were into wrestling they were collecting figs then i started getting them. My first were RA6 HHH, and RA 7.5 Chris Jericho. Got them at KB Toys then the next day i went to Walmart they stocked RA8 and i got Test, Angle, and Rock. Then it just went from there.

My CS collection started when one day i walk to walmart and saw the walmart exclusive hulk hogan. But before that i remember buying hasbro but just to play when i was little.

When I was younger I picked up a SCSA/Rikishi, solely because my brother collected them, I didn't get another TTL after and then my auntie got me AD2 Chavo/Stamboli, but I really started picking them up myself about a year later, I think RA21 Carlito got me back into collecing.

My first ever fig was a hasbro Hulk Hogan and Jake the Snake. Then 10-15 years later, my first RAs were the champions three pack. no freakin way! Hogan and the Snake were my firsts as well along with the ring for christmas of 91. I kept thinking how cool it was for Hogan to leg drop Damien LOL! I recently got back into collecting last year. I had gotten a crappy SAR along with Batista and Orton as my first pickups. |

I was 6 years old when I walked into a Toys r us with my Father. Right in front of me were a whole wall of LJN Rubber figs. You all remember Snuka,Big John Stud,Hulk Hogan Iron Sheik, Andre The Giant. That was the first set. Ever since that day I collected all of the LJN then into Hasbro..I was out of the game for BCA and early Jakks. Then one day 3 years ago I went on a first date with now my Fiance. We went to see a movie and across the street was a candy store. I looked in the window and Saw he had a George The Animal Steele with Real Hair on it. My mind did a complete warp and started remembering the good ole days with this wrestlers. I then went on a search and went back to series 1 and to this day I am a classic superstar aholic I have at least one ever made except the 1/100 or lower. I am 28 years old and I have a crazy MOC collection and Loose collection of Classic Superstars ;D  If any one wants to see pics let me know how to attach on this board,or I can email them. |
