It all began...

My first wrestling figures were given to me as a gift. They were WCW figures of Sting and The Giant from like 1998. They were kinda sucky figures, so I didn't start collecting them. My next wrestling figures came in 2002 (I believe). That is when I bought the K-Mart Exclusive Hulk Still Rules box set.

I didn't start collecting "full-time" until I bought Boogeyman from RA 20 (last year I believe). I saw a picture of his figure in Raw Magazine, and I knew I had to have it. I ended up ordering from TRU online, and they sent me 2 by mistake. I have been collecting since then. The rest is history.

I actually saw the classic superstars line being talked about and shown on the G4 network on t.v. They had a whole bunch of them loose displayed on a table and a JAKKS representative was talking about them. I thought it was the coolest thing, so I decided to start collecting

Wow I feel old school, like only 2 other people got ljn's as their firsts. My local grocery outlet would get out of date toys and I remember one day a whole bunch of wrestlers showed up. My mom got me Ljn Jesse the body and Hercules Hernandez, plus hillbilly jim jyd piper and big john studd thumb wrestlers.

Yeah, the HBK/Undertaker two pack got me through 8th grade science class.

my first ever fig was ljn savage back in 88 or 89, from hills. aaaah, memories. this is back when ljns were still readily restocked. next was valentine, then a hogan/hillbilly 2 pack, long haired andre, liz. i had a ton. towards the end of the ljn run, i had a ton, like bam bam, hacksaw (which i got from tru in california, which had more ljns than i had ever seen at the time. i still go to the tru in dublin every time im in claifornia now, because of that day). i stupidly gave them all away when i was still young and foolish. i retrieved most of them, plus some like ax, warlord, back strap andre, and red shirt hogan...but i never got another hacksaw. when hasbros came out, i got almost all of those, then i sold them a few years back for tons of money. now the price is going down and i got almost all of those back, except ludvig borga, gonzales, adam bomb, and crush (purple and silver version). i though it was over until bcas came out...mind you, i was like 14 when these came out. my first 2 were diesel and taker from the flea market. i pretty much have all of those still (littering my garage). started buying wcw figs then. my first was giant, and i pretty much kept going with those, buying every hogan. i still have a ton of those wcws carded like vampiro, hogan, saturn, and others. i quit when ttl came out......until the real scans began. i bought big show and cactus from ttl4. continued with that, i was like 21 at that point, and i was pissed when ras came out. i was done....until i saw them in erie pa, bought lesnar and bischoff. i still get the odd ra here and there, but i am mostly done with loose figs...except razor and genius which i just bought, and vince and victoria which i acquired. i still collect classics carded, though. sigh, i love toys. i could say collecting period began with ljns. i now have most of the rocky figs, a few mcfarlane football figs, and some others. i need mcfarlane football if you have any for trade btw.
