I was just thinking the other day about how i go into collecting figs. My first figure was a TTL Mick Foley in a wwf attitude jacket. I got it from a friend as a birthday present. Then after that i bought another fig, a hhh. From one fig to another, i just got more and more and here i am today a collector with over 100 figs.
So what about all of you, how did you get into collecting and what was your first figure?

My first figures were Hasbros when I was about 10-12 in the early 90's. I played and played with them.
I then stopped collecting for a few years, In 98' I spotted a Smash N Slam, Sting. I then started collecting MOC at age 17, I have been collecting ever since and don't plan on stopping.

My first ever fig was a hasbro Hulk Hogan and Jake the Snake.
Then 10-15 years later, my first RAs were the champions three pack.

My first figures were Hasbro series 1 Ax, Smash and Ted DiBiase while I was on holiday in the US for the first time in 91........ I am getting old.

Must have been about 1994 when I first picked up a Hasbro Tatanka, whom at the time was my favorite wrestler. Then I religiously tried to collect every single Hasbro. Came close. Then I stopped a few years after the BCAs came out and didn't start collecting again until late 2004.

my first figures were at age 4 when i get ljn hulk hogan and piper now i got my ljn's wwf hasbro, a nice collection of wcw figures from toybiz and osftm and my jakks bca figures and my 3 favorite tna wrestlers sting,samoa joe and steiner

BCA series 2 red/white HBK bought at KB Toys in the mall. Still have it and is my prized possession. They really need to make this figure in RA/DA already. Collected up until TTL and stopped as I absolutely hated those figs. Became interested in collecting again around CS1 and actually started collecting again around CS6.  |

My first wrestling action figure was an LJN Hulk Hogan for my 8th birthday. I wanted more figures but the local toy store only had the one LJN Hogan figure! A month later for X-mas I got the LJN wrestling ring, The Wrestling Album on cassette, Hillybilly Jim, Iron Shiek, Rowdy Piper, Big John Studd, Superfly Jimmy Snuka, Nikolai Volkoff and the 'wild long haired' Andre the Giant! As a matter of fact I had every LJN except for Sgt. Slaughter, Rick Rude, Ax and Slick! I lost them all due to theft while moving while in university but I have bought a few back none MOC unfortunately...ahh the memories!

Well i don't recall what age i was but i remember going to TRU back in the Hasbro days my mom bought me two of my favorite wrestlers Mountie and IRS

well my first figures were WCW Bruisers Nash and Mysterio ... i got them on holiday in Italy abou 5 years ago ... that was my only figs for a long time because i live in Slovakia and you cant get figures here ... and at the beginning of the year i was just about to order some shirts from wweshop and i decided to get CS12 Hogan ... and then i started to get more and more figs from ebay

My first figures were some Hasbro's, but I don't really remember which was the actual first one I got. Anyway, the figures were The Rockers, Jake Roberts, Ted Dibiase, Big Boss Man, The Bushwachers, Ultimate Warrior, Brutus Beefcake, Macho Man and Andre the Giant.
I still have all of those, exept one being Andre the Giant, which I sold at the beginning of this year!
Still regret it a bit!

First figure was a Hasbro Series 1 Hogan... I was three or four ... Lost the pinky several years back. I had Hasbro's and WCW Galoob figs growing up; which are now in horrendous condition after pathetic attempts at customizing them.
Then, I had the first series of the original BC figures, then when they weren't selling WWF Jakks figures down here (Philippines), I collected WCW ToyBiz figs...
