I rung Jakks pacific tonight. Admiting my phone bill will be through the roof as i liv in UK. But non the less. I asked them about protos for Classic 16 where was they. The guy i was talking to sounded like he was falling to sleep however he did say Jakks official shipping date for Classic's is mid October. He also went on to say that they may not release protos they may go straight to MOC pics.
Intresting makes me wonder if Jakks has read our comments about bitching about protos pics and are making us all wait now for MOC designs. I gotta say if this is the case i'm both happy and sad. Sad because i always like to see protos. But happy in a way that whats not seen before the MOC you don't moan about.

CSDA3 Taker's protos showed him wearing a leather jacket... they didnt release the jacket in the end.

Maybe the protos had full fur gear for Barbarian, full entrance attire for Warlord, Sid was huge, Gonzalez huger with flocked fur but now they decided they couldn't afford that so they are making them all identical in plain black pants.
Mid October sounds good for a release date though, I thought they had been pushed back to late November.
I can't believe you actually rung them up to ask about CS16 protos.

hmmm, thanks for the update.
i wouldn't worry about the phone bill, i've rung the states a few times in the past and you'd be surprised how little it costs these days.

If they think im gonna buy there final product, just because they didnt release protos, there mistaken. The last set in CS was a huge letdown!!! |

Thanks for the news. I'm not surprised about Jakks not releasing CS 16 protos as a lot of people on this board usually b*tch and whine about the protos acting as if they're the final product.

Not releasing protos is stupidly ridiculous.. even for Jakks.
Jakks make lots of mistakes that we have to point out the whole time to get the product to look a little better (CS14 Butcher for example)
This sucks.

man that's a bunch a crap cs 16 was probably the most awaited series to come out and we've be waiting and wont get protos now

it dont bother me too much that i dont know what they look like...even though i do look forward to seeing them..but i miss the days when i didnt know what any new figures were coming out ,and just going to the store and being surprised lol....like when the bca's came out...i didnt know anything about them . i saw goldust and razor on the pegs and i flipped out! new wrestlers yeah! lol ...sorry about boring you all with my story
