Seriously, NEVER EVER pre-order anything from that site.
I pre-ordered the Wrestlemania 23 Punk and MVP figures that were schedule to be in-stock and shipping today. Well, TRU apparently makes a habbit of overselling more than the stock that they're expecting to receive, so my order is now just listed on "backorder."
I have no idea what the hell that even means because this isn't a site like RSC or ACG that specializes in wrestling figures. When they get a new shipment next is totally unknown...the same thing happened when I pre-ordered CS 15 Ron Bass when it was listed on backorder and a few days later, it was taken completely off the site and was never put back up. I had to call and cancel my order otherwise they would have charged me for something I never got.
I plan on calling them today and telling them how horrible their website is and the fact that they constantly make this mistake.
So, yeah...I'm just ranting, basically. TRU.com is atrocious, and I would avoid them in the future at all cost. I'd much rather pay $15 for a figure elsewhere when I know they'll actually send it to me.

Crap I hope my preorder for CSDA doesnt crap out as well.
I lost 12 dollars when they refused to refund for a CS12 figure they never sent me.

that sucks, sorry about your luck  you would think a company as big as toys r us would run their web site more efficiently. i've heard that a lot about tru pre-orders. if it's something that they have in-stock then i've never had a problem with them & they're actually pretty quick, but pre-ordering is NOT the way to go thru them. |

I pre-ordered Punk & MVP back in mid September, and the status says: Item(s) Located In Stock.
I also ordered Kennedy & Burke last week, and it says the same thing.
did you get an email saying this or something?

When I had preorders that went backordered, they eventually got taken off the site and a few weeks later was told in an email it was canceled and I was not going to be charged for it.

RSC has done this to me, though. And it sepcializes in figs. It could happen to anyone w/ any store

i just got off the phone with them.first i was told that the csda that i ordered(i ordered them about 30 minutes after they were posted)was on back order and that they would not get them until oct.20.i called back to see if they had arrived yet just in case,but today i was told by them that they had no idea when the would have them.
i hate to order from them,but as some of you know that has talked to me i have 5 bulging disc and i don't get out very much.i have to rely on my friends and my wife to do the simple of errands.i figured i would make it easy on myself and them and order from the tru.com,but damn they seem like they really could care less.

I wouldnt be surprised if they cancel your order now. Same thing happened to me when I preordered WM CM Punk (red) and Hardy's 2-pack a couple months back. I ordered well in advance too. It even took me a month to get my refund. Stay away from preorders all.

I ordered 8 Greg Valentine's off TRUdotcom for $6 each. They sent me one and billed me for all 8. I had to call, plead my case, and then wait nearly two weeks for the partial refund on my paypal account, I agree the website has some serious issues.

I've only ever ordered from TRU back when they were associated with Amazon, and I received several figures with pretty quick shipping. I don't know how TRU handles their orders now directly through their site, but I hope I don't get cheated out of pre-ordering a full set of CSDA3. I'm really looking forward to getting the set and when I found it on their website, I pre-ordered it right away. Man, that would ing suck if the order never goes through and I'm unable to find CSDA3 in stores anymore.  |

This has been said many times before so I'll say it again:
NEVER PRE-ORDER ANYTHING FROM TRU.COM
I've never had problem with TRU.com with stuff they have in-stock. I have always received my figures in a very timely manner and in great, if not MINT, condition. Its the pre-order stuff they have problems with. Also if your order has been backordered it more or less means the same thing as canceled.

I am worried about my CSDA3 set with them as they've been hit or miss lately. The only bad thing is that they make a habit of charging the full shipping when the first items are sent which makes for a hassle if you need to get a partial refund when items are later canceled. Back-order isn't the kiss of death, though. I have had items come off back order in the past from them. I was expecting not to get the ECW2 ladies from them, but sure enough they did arrive.

yeah something simmilar happened to me with the CS TT series, then when i got the set, it said they shipped everything but my hogan worrior set was missing but it said it was in there, so it took weeks for them to refund my money on the set... and in the mean time i couldnt find that set anywhere, so i missed out on it... oh well, i learned my lesson that i will never order from them again (unless its an exclusive and i have to)
