omg, it's only like $1. if you people get that upset about a dollar than you should be worrying about other things than wrestling figures. inflation is a bitch, but that's the way it goes. stupid chinese and their lead paint testing & what not. i busted thermometers & played with mercury when i was kid & i turned out moderately fine. But the thing is we are paying to much for them to begin with. Why should I pay $10 for a half assed piece of plastic when I can save that $10 and use it towards something else? I don't feel like wasting $10 on a wrestling figure that just sits on a desk. I don't even buy complete sets like a lot of people here and I still think it is ridiculous. In fact I've been seeing more figures sitting on store shelfs than before. That just screams that people are either A. Tired of seeing Jakks half assed attempt at figures. B. The constant rise in figure prices. C. The many different kinds of figures (from RA, DA, CS, CSDA, CSTT, AD, ECW, TT, UF) are over saturating the market. D. All of the above 1. You said you're cheap. Then how do you know that we're paying too much for plastic action figures? You are allowed to have an opinion though, I grant you that. 2. If you could spend your money on something else, I think you should. I know when I see poor value in something IN MY OPINION, I don't buy it. I just don't throw a fit about it. 3. You're reasons for more figs sitting on shelves are all valid, but you forgot sales trends. When I go to TRU I see more of ALL figures sitting on shelves. When they first come out, they're gone, or almost gone. Second shipment comes in, demand has been satisfied, figs sit on shelves. Not trying to call you out, but if you're gonna throw stones, do it right. Like the guy that said "this is unacceptable"- it is what it is.

All of the above well, i only get a few figs out of each set, & sometimes none at all depending, except for the classics which i pretty much get all of, so 1 dollar isn't going to make any difference to me, so the way i look at it, it's negligible. i probably wouldn't even notice if i just went to the store and bought figs and didn't come on here. i agree about their being a lot of figs on the shelves right now, BUT come mid-december they're going to be as baren as an old spinsters womb. every set has 1 or 2 figs that don't sell that well, and all the straglers from all the different sets throughout the year get sold at christmas time.

Check other people's post they even don't like paying even more than they already are. It's like paying a hooker $25 for a happy every month, yet the hooker keeps stopping before you blow your load. And then she decides to raise the price $30 the next month. Do you agree with the price increase? I mean this hooker is giving you repeated bad happys where you can't even reach a climax yet she expects you to fork over more money. That is basically what Jakks is doing. 2. Throwing a fit would be knifing the people who work at Jakks and then running around and tossing protos on the ground before leaving. 3. Shelf cloggers are shelf cloggers regardless of its ship dates. Also if you buy figures on a semi regular basis, it all adds up in the end. That extra $1-3 may not seem like much at the time of purchase, but if you add up all of your figure purchases over the year and see how much difference it really makes, then it might change your tune.

That extra $1-3 may not seem like much at the time of purchase, but if you add up all of your figure purchases over the year and see how much difference it really makes, then it might change your tune. You are correct. A lot of children on this board complain about prices as well as some adults. The quality of these figs vary depending on who's buying them. If you have high expectations on these things being perfect, then you probably feel let down. But as for your story, the hooker would only have to screw up once before I wouldn't go back to her. If you continue to pay her for bad services, you're the idiot in the equation, not her. She is making profit off of a fool. This situation is still different. As time passes prices go up. Look on page 2 for the business model that I wrote and just read it with an open mind if you'd like some sort of insight as to why prices go up. If you don't, then you're just bitching to hear yourself bitch, and you'll never understand the concept of running a successful business. As for the knifing comment, that's just absurd. And as for the money added up at the end of the year, again, check out the business chain on page 2. I hate how inflation works, but it happens and neither of us are going to change that. Sure an extra 1 to 3 bucks adds up. Do you own a car?!? Mine is pictured below and it tears through gas quickly. $40 to fill it up now, but when gas was up in the $3 range it was over $50. I sure as hell didn't like it, but I work, so I had to accept it. I cut back, but I didn't whine about it. It sucks, but it's life. This isn't just to masked heel it's to everyone: Come down off your soap box. Quit crying about how life isn't fair. Millions of other people know that already. If you really want to make a difference, stop buying the product. Tell your friends to stop buying the product. If "they" don't make money, "they" will stop, and someone else will give it a shot and maybe do a better job/maybe not. But complaining about a price increase isn't going to stop a company from doing it. Especially when they themselves get hit with a price increase on their supply so they can make us a damn figure in the first place.
