2008 PRICING INCREASE FOR WWE
The Jakks action figure team has worked diligently to ensure the best pricing on WWE
For instance, since 2003 we have increased the price of our basic action figure line less than 8% and two-packs less than 2%.
For 2008, Jakks will not be able to absorb all of the cost increases due to numerous factors, including, but not limited to the cost of materials, labor, the valuation of the Chinese dollar, and the additional testing now required.
Therefore, we are implementing an approximately 10% price increase to be implemented on WWE and Pokemon items shipping after 11/1/2007.
Even with this price increase applied, we are averaging less than 2.5% per year in price increases since 2003.
EXCITING ADDITIONS FOR 2008:
2008 should be the best year ever for the Boys Entertainment team.
- WWE will introduce multiple A-level items, including:
o The 3 ¾’’ Deluxe Build N’ Brawl line of high articulation figures with construction base
o 12’’ Maximum Aggression collectible line that will satisfy both kid playability and collector display needs.
o Deluxe style rings at a price point much demanded by our consumer base ($19.99 - $24.99)
o Vinyl Aggression, for the internet accounts, celebrating high-end vinyl WWE play.
o Back Stage Brawl Playset – for the first time, take your 6-7’’ action figure battling backstage.
o Great Kid’s Items like 20’’ Pillow Fighters, 4-Way Havoc Rock ‘Em style, and more…
