2) Your point is intellectually- disabled. If they real scanned him now it would just look like 2007 Vince in the face, and if they used a TTL scan it would look like Vince in the Attitude era. So they have to sculpt. Phewl.

finally all the whining can be over with. we have been waiting a long time for these, now we can start whining about CS 17!!

anyways, my thoughts:

vince- looks pretty good for a sculpt, will be interesting to see the "final product" i like the idea, i will be getting it

gonzalez- it looks awesome. im not a fan of them just using the khali mold to make him, he wasnt that "thick" but it sill looks good. he is a "must buy"

warrior- looks awesome as always! the warrior figs are some of the best overall. i love the new/old attire. cant wait for this one

warlord & barbarian- very upset they werent in singles attire, they should have used the powers of pain for a 2 pack instead. they could have been the best 2 of the set but now they're passers in my book. they do look awesome, but im a fan of them single not as the team.

sid- he is the man, the figure looks perfect, the small boots arent accurate but for his first classic figure im not going to let that stop me from buying it. my favorite of the set, i cant wait for this one

hbk LJN- i dont buy the LJNs anyway, i think they are a waste of another figure (id rather have a RA HBK in that outfit) but this one does look cool

xpac- perfect scan, would've liked a little more color in the outfit (he wore white in his pants alot) but still i will be getting him too.


overall ive got 5 buys out of the 8. awesome set. and its great to see all new guys (except warrior, but its so awesome it doesnt matter)

X-Pac is the only half decent one of the bunch, I'll be getting Shawn though

Pretty bland set tbh.

Gonzales is the standout of the set (no pun intended).

Sid is pretty cool except he should have blue trunks during that look. I also think the ripped SHW is too cut for him. The SHW torso is better.

Vince looks more like he is in his early to mid 90's look (when he was commentating with Jerry Lawler) and not his 80's look. Either way is fine with me.

Powers of Pain look perfect but like others have said, it would have been better if it was when they were in their singles attires and the tag-team could be in CSTT. I hope they make their legs the tights mold and not the painted underwear mold in the protos.

Warrior is good for what it is but I would like to see him in his Hasbro Series 1 green trunks attire.

X-Pac has to be the biggest letdown. The scale is rediculous. The 1-2-3 Kid CW torso is the ONLY torso he should have along with the RA 26 Regal arms and skinny-legged tights. The larger kickpads don't bother me as much b/c he was average height and the 1-2-3 Kid figure is too short even for Waltman.

I remember seeing a guy post two X-Pacs on here a while back. One had this mold and the other had the smaller singlet mold. I'm hoping Jakks uses that one come release time.

Besides the X-Pac figure, the set isn't bad detailed-wise but pretty bland overall.

Great set, with the exception of some guys.

I'm not sure how I feel about Vince's scan, as I get the impression that it'll be one of those things where it'll look better on the final product and in-person.

Powers Of Pain, Warrior, Gonzalez all look perfect.

Sid looks great, but I'm still not digging the long hair and they definitely need to change the boots.

I'm not a fan of LJN figures, so whatever.

X-Pac is the biggest dissapointment. The torso and arms are way too big, kickers will make him way too tall, and they're still using his TTL scan? They re-scanned him for 1-2-3 Kid, but couldn't do a new one for X-Pac? And if they were going to use one of his TTL scans, why not use the straight-faced one that looks way better? They really ruined this figure...I don't know why they didn't just use his 1-2-3 Kid figure and do a straight repaint, as it would have looked much better. I also would have preferred his red X-Pac attire or his classic D-X attire. D-X 2000 isn't exactly when X-Pac was at his prime in the WWF.

I'll get the whole set, leave Shawn MOC and have to fix-up Sid and X-Pac on my own. I've already got a pair of Big Show boots and RA Regal arms just waiting for when CS 16 comes out.

u really like this set. you can telll they really worked on it. these protos were worth the wait. great job. =)
