I was watching a few old Rock promos etc on youtube, and it got me thinkin who can cut the best promo past and present. I personally think the Rock is the best at comedy promos...but im not too sure about more serious things. And do you have any examples, probably my favourite shoot promo of all time is Heyman at ONS 1. Whats peoples thoughts on this?

I think Angle was overlooked on his mic skills, Im not saying he was one of the best, but just that nobody ever mentions how good he can be on the mic as well as the mat.

Roddy Piper is easily the greatest promo cutter in history.
After him, Ric Flair, The Rock, and Raven, in that order.

Flair, Rhodes, Hogan, Piper, even Jake. Almost all of the old school guys were very good at cutting promos.

Raven is probably the first name I think of when I think 'Brilliant Promo'. Some of his early stuff in ECW was brilliant.
As for WWE, The Rock, HHH, Foley and Flair.
But Davari wouldn't go amiss, however....
