I thought it was a really good PPV:
Matt/MVP - That match stole it for me I thought it was a great match, alot of near falls
Cruz Open - The best thing on SD the cruserweights, a good match and an unexpected ending
Sandman/Carlito - pretty sucky really, the only bad match of the night tho
Womens - A solid match, Candice is getting alot better in the ring
Umaga/Jeff - A fun match with near falls, I really thought Jeff was gonna get it
Punk/Morrision - An ok match, some good spots
Bullrope match - A good little match for Dusty to have, good end
3 Way- I really enjoyed this match, shame Kane didn't win, Kahli actually did well jumping for a change
WWE - Alot better then I thought the crowd was well behind both men, good (new) ending

I expected more from the bullrope match, Umaga vs. Jeff was the surprise of the night, turned out to be a really entertaining match.

Overall Matt/MVP was good Umaga/Jeff was good Candice/Melina was decent Cruiserweight Open was Good, except for the ending Carlito/Sandman Sucked Kane/Khali/Tista was ok Orton/Dusty sucked Punk/Morrison was good, but i hated the finish. Really didnt care that punk lost, i just think Nitro should have beat him with something better. Lashley/Cena was ok except for the ending which ing blew.

It may not matter but here's my opinion on the show:
Matt Hardy vs. MVP- Good match to start but when Matt Hardy countered the Playmaker into the Side Effect, the crowd was really hot. When MVP kicked out, not only the crowd lost steam, Hardy and MVP both stumbled around until a very sloppy finish. The last four minutes killed the match. **1/2
Cruiserweight Open- Horrible. I say that hesitantly because the match was decent at best. The worst part was the bass-ackwards booking. Why give Hornswoggle the cruiserweight title? Let's recap: Chavo has now lost the CW title to Jacqueline, in a battle royal due to injury, and a "leprechaun." This was not the right way for Jamie Noble to start his Cruiserweight booking/agent job. Oh well, it probably wasn't his fault. 1/2*
Sandman vs. Carlito- The wrestling wasn't the best but I enjoy the story because it's not the same old retread of feuds we've seen before. I really do wish better things for Carlito, though. 1/2*
Candice Michelle vs. Melina- I really enjoyed this match. People keep saying it was sloppy or they simply were "trying" but I think a little more postively. I know people are sick of the Trish Stratus/Candice Michelle comparisons but the match tonight really reminded me of Trish's early matches against Molly, Ivory, Jacqueline, and Victoria. If she doesn't become satisfied with being where she's at and she continues to improve, Candice could be something really special. **
Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga- WOW. If this match can't halt some of the Jeff Hardy hate on the Internet, I don't know what will. Not only did Hardy have a better match than his brother Matt--who I love so don't take this as bashing him--but he also did it with a guy less talented than MVP. I expected the match to be fun but not necessarily good. What I watched was fun and very, very good. ***1/2
CM Punk vs. John Morrison- On one hand, I was really excited that we were getting a feud for the ECW Champion between two guys who aren't your typical main event star. On the other, I had a bad feeling this match would disappoint. And while it was good, solid wrestling, the end made little to no sense and the "E" still hasn't given us a reason to care about these two fighting each other. I love Punk and wish him a very successful career but he's going to be bitten with the "Next Big Star that does nothing" bug because they don't give him time to talk or enough of a story for fans to latch onto. **1/4
Dusty Rhodes vs. Randy Orton- Short and sweet, not to mention dominant for Orton as it should have been. Dusty looked at least decent for his age and it was a fun reminder of the Great American Bash events of the past. I'm really anticipating Cody Rhodes' feud with Orton because given the right story, he could be huge. *3/4
Kane vs. Batista vs. Great Khali- This was the tale of two different matches. There was the match with Khali and the match without Khali. When Batista vs. Kane was occuring, it was better than decent, it was *GASP* good. When Khali was in, it was bad, really bad. I'll say this: I have not seen a wrestling performance as bad as Khali's since Mustafa faced New Jack in ECW a few years ago. John Cena has got to be a miracle worker because Khali at least looked capable of throwing a punch in those matches. Anyway, considering who was involved, there were enough garbage spots to make the match at least better than anyone believed it would be. **
John Cena vs. Bobby Lashley- This is the match the entire show was built on and I have to say it easily delivered. I have absolutely no doubt when I say that JOHN CENA IS THE BEST PERFORMER IN THE WORLD. He may not be the best worker, hell, he's not the best worker on his own show, let alone the company. But when it comes time for a pay-per-view main event, I feel like I get my money's worth when he is in the ring. He carried Bobby Lashley in this one and it felt every bit as epic as it was built to be. There wasn't a lot of psychology but there wasn't with Austin and Rock either. While this wasn't near the level of the epic Austing vs. Rock match, it was definitely one of the matches that, when the careers of Lashley and Cena are over, people will look back on. Great execution of a very well built, very well booked story. ***3/4
The match ratings aren't necessarily indicative of my thoughts on the show. Personally, I enjoyed the show, though it was fun, and time actually flew by. It's a quick moving show that, if you don't pay strict attention to match quality, is a fun way to spend three hours. Would I recommend spending $40? No. But I definitely would recommend picking up the DVD when it's released in August. The booking made sense and the show is fun. Every once in a while, we need that out of a wrestling show.

Oh well, this PPV may have flat-out sucked, but in a way we should celebrate. We should celebrate because tonight is the absolute last friggin' Pay-Per-View we see of Cena winning at the end. Trust me, it's all going to end come SummerSlam and I for one, can't freaking wait. Cena's reign of terror FINALLY comes to an end. I just hope it's Orton that beats him. I'll bet you anythig that Cena retains at Summerslam. Why would he lose? His next rivalry hasn't even started yet. I like WWE's somewhat new philosophy of having longer title reigns. The only problem is that just about all our current champions suck. The only champion I really like is MVP.

Cena's reign as champion will pass one year at least.

WWE Pay-per-Views just aren't as exciting anymore as they were, well, even a couple of years ago. Last year they were... okay, this year they are just plain bad.
The matches are just slung together out of nowhere with no proper storylines or build ups, and there isn't a 'I wonder who will win the match' thing anymore. You hope someone will win and start to think they will win, then BAM! exactly what you knew would happen deep down, happens (take Kane vs Khali vs Batista).
They are so predictable and championships don't change hands enough, there aren't enough new challengers each month, and there aren't varied match types. They are all single matches for championships just slung together. Meh. Oh well. It was free in the UK.

Exactly- WWE most likely wouldn't do that.

after watching the PPV live last night i felt pretty let down with the World title & WWE title matches. In the Cena match it was so easy to predict what was going to happen next. Though, to the positive side...i found that the US Title match was a solid match and impressed me aswell as Hardy vs Umaga which is contender for Match of the night..crowd were buzzing when hardy was in control..though the match that caught my eye was the Cruiserweight Open. A solid match with a fair few bits of high flying entertainment and well what can i say...Hornswoggle winning was the icing on the cake ...what i'm trying to get across is that the Mid-cart wrestlers actually impressed me last night more than they have done before and put on better displays than those in the main event scence.
All credit where its due in my opinion.
Overall i thought it was a decent PPV where it could have been better but then again it is the WWE
Looking forward to Raw tonight and god hope that the Dusty Rhodes/Orton fued is over.

i actually thought last nights ppv was prety goodcw match had an unexpected finish hardy/umaga was a really good match that proved how good umaga can be hardy/mvp was another good matt hardy match, his matches have been pretty good as of late and same goes for mvp orton/rhodes wasa short but thats good ina way, liek how the match finished punk/morrison was kinda boring and it featured 2 superstars thjat i dont really like carlito/sandman was just bad khali/batista/kane was actually not a bad match, i think khali does what hes supposed to very well and thats playing an extremely powerful giant plus h is kick is awsome and he even jumped, plus he actually pinned someone the right way! i liked it when batista and kane threw him through the announce table, this match also had me on the edge of my seat not knowing who was gonna win, which is something cena/lashley did not cena/lashley wads a pretty good match but i just wasnt on the edge of my seat b/c i knew cena would win, the end of th match really sucked tho imo last night was a better ppv than people expected and imo it was much better than vengeance, hopefully summerslam is good aswell

You know how I can tell last night was a disappointing PPV? The unbelievable amount of hype JR's been giving it tonight as if it was one of the best events he's ever called. Christ, he doesn't even speak this fondly of Wrestlemanias.

I saw Lashley/Cena today, and despite strongly disliking Bobby Lashley and being sick to death of John Cena's title reign, I'll give them both credit for putting on a hell of a match. Very, very entertaining.
Rest of the show still seemed awful, though.
