Interesting fact regarding John Cena's reign as WWE Champion. If Cena holds on to the WWE Title through September 18 (which wasn't the plan originally), he would be the first world champion in company history to go 365 days since Randy Savage in the 1980s. Source: wrestlingexposed.com Great

That would be incredible. He deserves a one or two year reign.

I'm a huge fan of Cena but I hate that he's had the belt for so long

Have him lose it at Unforgiven so he just comes up short, which is on September 16th.

Dude. Let him do it! He goes out brags and then that could be his heel turn! Then Triple H comes out and sais You've held it the longest but you'v eheld that belt 3 times. I have held it 3 times that. Then you hear the WOOOOOOOO and Flair sais. I have held it 5 times that. Then HBK comes out and sias he has held it the same ammount but was better at entertainoing the fans. Leading into a Triple Threat WWE Championship match at Unforgiven. Dreams can go a far way!

That would be incredible. He deserves a one or two year reign. More like one or two decades. Cena is a champion's champion, a classic grappler; I don't understand what deluded mindset someone would have to have to think otherwise.

Seeing as we know Cena won't be losing the belt anytime soon, I'm all for the same idea I proposed back when JBL was champion.
Have Cena hold the title right up until the last minute. About a month from now, start heavily promoting the fact that Cena could potentially be the first man to hold the championship for a year in 20 years or so. Throughout August, the pressure could slowly start to morph Cena and we might see a little bit of a change in attitude.
At Unforgiven, supposedly his last title defense before hitting the year mark, Cena retains yet again, allowing him to finally let his guard down.
The next night on Raw, Cena is forced to defend the title again, and this time, loses it. Cena falls short of a year by less than 24 hours.
The loss drives him mad, and results in a monster heel turn.

Hopefully he makes it until then. I'm not a huge fan of quick title changes. Look how many people are on here complaining and demanding he lose the belt. Such a response from fans would never happen if belts changed hands every 2 months.
