Heres something i havent thought of. During the Attitude era, the fans were raised on the "golden age" of Hulkamania, then we grew into the Attitude era. Now these people that made those times big are a lil older and have moved one. I never missed an episode of Prime Time Wrestling/Raw from like 91-02. But now im almost 24 and i have to work on monday nights. I miss Raw every now and then. Maybe its just Evolution I'm in the same boat kinda, but no, thats not it. Just watch the old stuff and then right after go watch todays, its enough to make ya cry and wonder how it was allowed to get like this...

Hopefully they learn from this. Wait, who am I kidding? It's gonna be the same week in week out; Cena opens the show, Cena makes horrible attempts at being funny, Cena makes the matches, little bit of Lashley and Kennedy in between, Cena 'wrestles' last, his 5 moves dominate, Cena ends the show with the win after overcoming the odds.. COMPLETE ****. How did you guess, its not like its been like this since the day after WM21, oh wait

So this is apparently the lowest rating in 10 years? Honestly, its ridiculous, but this is the most excited I've been over WWE in, well I cant remember

Wowzer...I think a lot of it has to do with the Benoit situation (the fact that younger kids parent's might be turned off of the product).

If it had to do with Benoit, the ratings would have tanked right away, not over a month later. They need big changes to bring us back.

Okay, NOW you can say something's wrong. 3.1 isn't terrible, but 2.5 is for them.

HEH they are barely above TNA, especially when you think about RAW being wwe's ''main'' brand.

Especially when you think TNA doesnt have the same star power.. lets face it, people are growing tired of the WWE and switching over to the other guys.
i think TNA kind of sucks right now.. but their product is better than the WWEs.. especially the ppvs

Why does Vince keep letting this happen? Besides a couple of matches, Raw was absolutley disgusting this week. They need to start promoting main events and big matches a week in advance and having more titles defended.

WWE Sucks. And I can think of 5 excuses why the episode's ratings sucked other than the usuall crap writing 1. Jeff Hardy wasnt on. he is extremely popular 2. That cryme tyme segment that went way to damn long. 3. Carlito in the main event. 4. Sgt. Slaugter vs Randy Orton. 5. Cena still being the world champion Carlito being in the main event was a good thing, especially since he pinned Cena. Carlito needs to be pushed more as a main eventer so don't go blaming Carlito. Nah - Carlito is rubbish and should NEVER be booked in the main-event again... You don't have a mid-carder, pin the previously unbeatable, WWE Champ - even if it was due to inteference... How is that good for ratings, as far as the casual audience, is concerned?...

They may still be beating TNA, but that isn’t saying much considering how big WWE is compared to TNA. In a sense, TNA is doing better in more ways than one for a small company that really hasn’t been around that long. Either way you look at it, TNA ratings have been slightly rising, WWE's are drastically falling.

I personally haven't watched RAW since HBK was injured. The WWE product is lacking. These short lived, poorly put together programs (feuds) aren't cutting it. We need a big name guy (even like Cena) to go edgy and do something different. Turn him heel, do something! I'll never forget when watching the Monday Night War DVD Bischoff said partially what made WCW such a success in 96-98 is that they did a survey saying wrestling fans like to be suprised. Well ... that element is just gone in WWE right now. Cena wins, blah blah blah. And not just that. I say have him lost the belt ... then have him go mad and turn heel over it. Just mix it up. WWE needs to take RISKS, do something outlandish and something that will change the scene. Right now it's about as stale as four year old bread. I agree, do something! I am so sick of watching Cena win week after week, I really enjoyed this weeks because Cena lost. They need to have a stable again (Ken, Orton, Carlito?) would be cool who cheat, lie, steal, do whatever and get some belts around their wastes, that would be awesome. This same old same old is kiling me and the WWE too apparently.
