from Cena "haters". It is amazing dumb that people boo Cena, and chant you cannot wrestle and blah blah blah. Every PPV match he had in 07 was great. If you think different, you are either lying or dumb.
So he gets injured. He works his ass off to come back to the WWE, to show to us he loves the buisness, when he could have been off a few more months resting. But no, he comes back for us, to entertain us and what do we do? Boo, and YOU CAN'T WRESTLE!
Seriously, the Cena Haters need to quit on HATING.

Thank you for that post. Its ok if people dislike Cena, hell, I used to dislike Cena, but some people take it to far, like you said.

As much as people hate him they still prove hes over. Being booed (even when youre a face) is a sign of being over. You only need to worry if you arent getting a reaction.

People can have OPINIONS, You may like him, I may not, just get the over it.

Same old shit.
...that's why people don't like who he is on TV. The man John Cena, I like, but as a wrestler... yeah, not so much.

Ahem? Yeah, and he got a heel turn after being booed for eight months. Here we are, well past three years, and he's still face. Indeed. I'm just pointing out the fact that he stated that if a face is getting booed, it means he's over, which is clearly not the case at all times.

Ahem? Yeah, and he got a heel turn after being booed for eight months. Here we are, well past three years, and he's still face. Do we need a "Die Cena Die" chant? And "Simply Morrison" you sound just like a Cena Mark. You said he's come back to entertain us. Well quite frankly that's like asking Reymon14 what his views on the theory of relativity are. Fact of the matter is Cena is boring as a face. He's stale.

It's not even that Cena's work ethic or matches are bad. They're not great, but he's not the worst I've ever seen in the ring either. He's capable of having a decent match when the right guy can carry him. My biggest problem with Cena (and the WWE as a whole) is the fact that everything is just so stale. The main event scene, the characters, the storylines. It all is just boring to me.

Why does it kill people so much that not everyone likes Cena?

Why does it kill people so much that not everyone likes Cena? Idkm but when I went to teh movie theater to see the rumble, some little kids said they wanted to beat up my friend for booing rey and cena.... On to this topic, people can boo or cheer whoever they want. You don't have to like cena because someone tells you too

It's moreso the fact that, since he joined Raw in '05, he has been the focal point of the WWE Championship picture, only exception being the 3 months he was out with the injury, doing the exact same thing week in and week out. Just like with Triple H circa '02-'04, it just gets too repetitive and boring.

And Austin/Rock before that, Hulk Hogan for several years, etc. That's just the way it is when you're the focal point of a promotion. You can't tell me that there weren't stale champions before Cena; Hogan has been stale for years, and during the almighty Attitude era, Stone Cold and the Rock swapping titles got old fast, too. John Cena is just an easier target for fans because of his limited in-ring talent and the state of WWE today. I'm sure there were older fans during the 80's and 90's who got sick of Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart with their appeal towards a younger demographic. Wrestling is very much cyclical and current 2008 WWE is no exception.
