I have been to the Halloween Express and Halloween Spirit stores that opened so I am already pumped for Halloween. |

Our local party rental store has 'Halloween Headquaters' up on their sign. Halloween startin' early.
Any ideas on a costume?

Also, I watched Carriers yesterday. I haven't gotten a chance to do a full review or anything on it yet, but, I didn't really care for it. |

Thats one I still havent seen. I should make sure its in my Blockbuster Q. Ive heard Devil was whats expected of it. Terrible acting, decent story and the twist ending. I plan on catching a matinee showing for 5 bucks on Monday. Ill let you know what I think afterwards. |

Planning to watch H2 tonight for the first time. Ready to be disappointed, but hoping to be amazed.
Anyone here heard of a movie called Goblin? It was made this year and appearently takes place on Halloween night.

I actually liked H2. You have to just take it for what it is, Rob Zombie's vision of Halloween.

I'm a fan of Zombie's Halloween, and I was initially disappointed with H2. With that said after two other viewings of the title (Director's Cut I might add) I found myself not looking at it as a Halloween sequel, but as Rob Zombie's version of a Halloween sequel. I give Rob credit for doing something completely different. He did things in that movie that no other Halloween film has done before. Did it work? Not really but that's because people of classic horror icons aren't privy privy to such a change. The bottom line is that Rob was told to not play by the rules this time around and he most certainly did not. It was not the best Halloween movie but I also don't think it was exactly the worst (Resurrection gets that title). There will hopefully be more Halloween movies to come so this one doesn't bother me.
Bring on H3D!!!

So after a full day of waiting, I did not watch H2 tonight. Way too much paperwork due by tomorrow morning and now I'm too tired.
Watching "What Lies Beneath" tomorrow night. Don't know how you guys feel about it. I don't think it's true horror, but there are some horror elements to it. It's 10 years tomorrow since my wife and I went on our first date, and it was the movie we went to see, so it all ties in.
