I wander if an actual outbreak would happen...that would be f'n crazy...does anyone else think an actual zombie outbreak would erupt causing havoc all over the world? As in the dead coming back to life? No, there is no chance of that happening. Do you even need to ask? Well I know there wont be no chance..but i was just asking.. That hostel poster looks awesome...i cant wait for the movie. Eli Roth is the next "Master of Horror". I read reviews from people who saw special screenings all over the states and said that it was Verrry disturbing and violent...they said it seems like an NC-17 rated movie even though its still rated R. It was also said it was brilliant in many ways and fans will not be dissapointed.

Dario Argento is a lord among men, and has been one of my favorite directors since viewing Suspiria, Deep Red, Tenebrae, and Inferno (which sucks, but whatever).Just watched his first film for the first time. Here's a review... The Bird With The Crystal Plumage (1970) Directed by Dario Argento -Dario Argento's directorial debut is one that a must see for any Argento fans. While certainly not his best film, it's a lot better then a majority of the work he has produced recently. Tension is built wonderfully, his camera work is wonderful like always and mesmorizing, and the Hitchcock-like tricks he plays on the audience are fun and menacing at the same time. Argento's early murder mysteries are great films. While Deep Red is probablly the best of the batch, this ranks right up there with Tenebrae as a classic murder Giallo with wonderful camera work and some memorable sequences. Sure, the characters are kind of stupid and the dialogue is awful, but Argento movies are not really known for their wonderful dialogue. Considering his grasp on the english language, it's forgiveable. I love the way movie seems to play out and unlayer itself as it develops, like an onion being peeled. Great little murder mystery that is recommended for fans of Dario Argento, Alfred Hitchcock, or the murder mystery genre in general. Rating:7/10

In the book they talk about studies on zombies, it's really fascinating. Then it gets into the humor with what to do during an outbreak. I wish zombies existed. Maybe they do. DUN DUN

I hate how on the poster for Hostel they slap on "Presented by Quentin Tarantino" so that all the dumbass kids will go see it.
It's dumb. As hell.
On another note, has anyone seen Abel Ferrara's 'Driller Killer'. It looks awesome.

On another note, has anyone seen Abel Ferrara's 'Driller Killer'. It looks awesome. Driller Killer is awesome, good 70's horror, it had that really rough feel. So does King of New York though and that's his most glossy and stylish film. And yeah, it does bug me that Quentin had to throw his name on there, I think Cabin Fever could've put asses in seats enough, and word of mouth will blow this movie up, if it lives up to the hype so far. Eli's a hell of a promotional machine, and so is Quentin. A dumbass kid that graduated our film school thought it was Tarantino's movie and he shot it in Amsterdam....I was like "Acutally I'm pretty sure it's Roth and it was shot in Prague." Hey, I was right.

This thread aint dying!!!!!! *evil laugh* There i saved it from "Page 2" doom. Here is some horror news for the day: Today Universal Pictures provided us with a whopping 40 images (some of which we already had) images from King Kong, which hits theaters a week from Friday!! Directed by Peter Jackson and starring Naomi Watts, Jack Black, Adrien Brody, Thomas Kretschmann, Jamie Bell and Evan Parke, the film is a remake of the 1933 classic in which an expedition exploring a remote island capture a gigantic ape and bring it back to New York for exhibition. A beautiful actress who accompanies them is menaced when the monster's love for her causes him to break out. Read on for the pics... www.bloody-disgusting.com/gallery/photodir.php?dir=439(this is going to be the movie of the year) Michelle Gellar has officialy signed on for The Grudge 2. Here is the link for the article.. www.bloody-disgusting.com/index.php?Show=5385&Template=newsfull(This is going to be pure crap movie) "Patrick Bateman Returns to the Big Screen" Yep..thats right! Everyones favorite killer Patrick Bateman is set to make his return to the big screen... sort of. Palm-Star Entertainment has optioned Bret Easton Ellis' (American Psycho) latest novel, Lunar Park, which follows the author-narrarator as an narcissistic, self-pitying drug fiend who gets a shot at redemption when movie star Jayne Dennis, an old flame, offers to marry him. The deal is that he must now connect with Robby, the son he has shunned for 11 years, according to Variety. Apparently among the unsettling events plaguing his life is the appearance of what appears to be a real-life incarnation of his fictional Bateman character, according to Fangoria. " 'Lunar Park is the most personal book I've written, even if on the surface it reads like a thriller," Easton Ellis said. "It took a long time to complete, and Palm-Star has known about the book from the beginning. They witnessed the usual complaints, anxieties and excitement that occur when you're completing a novel. Now it's their turn to move through that process." A Chinese Hostel poster has leaked onto the internet. Here is a link to the picture- www.bloody-disgusting.com/index.php?Show=5384&Template=newsfullMostly in other news that ive read today, Sin City 3 has been pretty much confirmed by Frank Miller himself. Silent Hill teaser trailer has been leaked online, you can find another link to the teaser by clicking on this link- www.bloody-disgusting.com/index.php?Show=5391&Template=newsfullI think Silent Hill could be a cool movie if they made it right...

Dammit. Another movie version of a Ellis book? "American Psycho" and "The Rules of Attraction" were both bad, so I'm in no hurry to see "Less Than Zero", or, I suppose, an upcoming "Lunar Park".

Driller Killer is the worst movie ever made, the production value is just unecessary.

I watched Poltergeist earlier today for about the 5th time in my life. I think it's "ok" but I've always felt like it was a HIGHLY overrated film.

Poltergeist is a pretty good movie...but i think this film SHOULD be remade for various reasons. It seems the movie didnt go into great detail..but i think Poltergeists should be remade IMO just to be modernized and to revise the story a little bit. Does anyone else think they should remake this movie?

I've always heard people say how scary this movie was but there's not a scary or even spooky moment in the whole film in my opinion. It's pretty comical actually.

I'd like to see it remade. Anyone see part 2 and 3? I know I've seen part 2 but I can't remember much from it. I remember favoring part III over all of them for some reason.
