Here's a cooler Hills Have Eyes poster. And a shitty one: I still have to see the original, and I'd like to before the remake in March.

I don't like either of those posters, as compared to the original posters. Like Sean said ,they are just too general. Throw some of the freaks on the poster and it would look a lot better. I'm one of the few that love the original, but the ending is really anticlimatic and the third act of the film kind of blows. Craven and his damn booby trap endings to movies...

Just watched TCM 2 and From Dusk Till Dawn. Loved both, though neither were scary at all, more hilarious. Both had great lines in them...NAMLAND!

Cry Wolf looks pretty ****ty. Typical PG13 horror. Meh. Bad poster. Thats actually a pretty cool poster..well for a teaser poster at least. I have just watched Cry Wolf and..... it was good. If your expecting a slasher/gorefest then u will be dissapointed. I have the unrated DVD so i guess it adds. Cry Wolf is not a slasher, it has that "Slasher" feeling of suspense and mystery behind it. The acting is mediocre, but the story is really good and pretty cool actually. I though the "twist" at the end was played out well and stuff. I will give Cry Wolf a 8/10 rating.

My wife didn't want to rent Exoricism of Emily Rose during the holiday season.
I'm making her watch Jack Frost instead....that'll be a lesson!

Cry Wolf looks pretty ****ty. Typical PG13 horror. Meh. Bad poster. Why is the picture of the girl right side up if the phone is upside down? I don't get it.... Seriously though, that poster is better then the Hills Have Eyes posters that have been released. At least it actually gives you a clue as to what the film is about and it's not so general.

Do you think the remake of Day of the Dead will have the fast and more vicious zombies or the slow old-school zombies? I HOPE that the remake of Day of the Dead had the more fast and vicious zombies.

Arent they making yet another Dead Movie? Road to the Dead I belive to Follow Land Of the Dead?
I enjoyed Land of the dead a lot. It was a great movie i have watched it like 7 times.
Also When a Stranger calls , Sounds like a good remake of an Urban Legend. ya know the one with the girl baby sitting and then she gets the call saying the kids are dead, then they trace the call to upstairs.

[glow=red,2,300]HORROR NEWS OF THE DAY[/glow] Creeping from the corner is CaptainCharisma84 with the horror news of the day- The OFFICIAL trailer for the remake of the "classic" When a Stranger Calls is online. Here is a link to view the trailer: movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&cf=trailer&id=1808756288&intl=us"Peter Jackson Wants Fox Back for New 'Frighteners'!" With Universal releasing Peter Jackson's The Frighteners director's cut on DVD, some interviews surrounding the release have started to pop up online- and one indicates that Jackson wants to direct to a sequel! Read on for the skinny. In the 1996 film a psychic private detective who consorts with deceased souls becomes engaged in a mystery as members of the town community begin dying mysteriously. While investigating, he is aided by a friendly doctor who believes in his psychic abilities and is hindered by a crazed G-Man, a woman involved in an old serial killing, and what may be the spirit of Death itself... 'Tales from the Crypt: Season 3' Officially Announced TV Shows on DVD confirms our report that Tales from the Crypt: Season 3 will be hitting DVD on March 31st. Here's Warner's announcement, "Yes, that die-abolical punster and bone-a-fide ghoul of your dreams the Crypt Keeper is back to host this scare-rific collection of all 14 complete and uncut episodes from Season 3 of the series that ran seven memorably spooktacular seasons. Finally the first trailer for Fox Searchlight's The Hills Have Eyes has gone online over at Apple.com. At the website you can watch the trailer in QuickTime, Hi-Def or on your iPod. On another note, I've heard word from some peeps in LA that the film is gruesome and actually really good! Yay, finally something to look forward to. Alex Aja's film hits theaters March 10th, 2006. A new take on Wes Craven’s 1977 film of the same name, THE HILLS HAVE EYES is the story of a family road trip that goes terrifyingly awry when the travelers become stranded in a government atomic zone. Miles from nowhere, the Carters soon realize the seemingly uninhabited wasteland is actually the breeding ground of a blood-thirsty mutant family...and they are the prey. Other news 2001 Maniacs starring Robert Englund is being released to DVD in March, and Frank Miller wants FIVE sin city movies to be made! Wow, just wow. When a Stranger Calls remake is going to be KICK @$$! It looks awesome. Its pretty interesting that Peter Jackson wants to make another Frightners movie. Thats the horror news of the day brought by one and the only CaptainCharisma84.
