Impact Preview March 1, 2007
This week, TNA Impact continues the road to Destination X, where every match is No DQ! First up to the plate is the first match of the reformed Triple X! All three members band to take on TNA Tag Team Champions Team 3D, and X-Division Champion, Kazarian! Will Triple X send a message to all of the champions they are gunning for?
In more tag team action, Brent Albright and James Gibson take on The Naturals!
With Alex Shelley now getting another chance at Austin Aries at Destination X, with no rules to stop him, he'll have a warm up this week as he takes on Puma, who has been around TNA recently!
This week will feature a double main event, as two competitors in the Gauntlet at Destination X battle for supremacy, and for the first time. Abyss vs Kurt Angle, this week on Impact! Also, TNA powerhouses, Samoa Joe and Tomko, will do battle. Samoa Joe was unable to get his hands on Christian Cage last week, so he will have a lot of pent up aggression.
All this and more on Impact!

March 1, 2007 Mike Tenay and Kevin Nash welcome everyone to TNA Impact this week, and run down some of the stuff we can expect to see tonight.
Alex Shelley vs Puma This was one hell of a match, as Puma used his great speed and unique offense to keep Shelley on his toes, almost getting the win with a double arm suplex. But Shelley would battle back, and hit Sliced Bread #2 to pick up the win. Winner: Alex Shelley
After the match, Austin Aries ran in through the crowd to make a run in on Shelley, but Shelley was ready for it, and the two began trading blows in the center of the ring. Shelley would gain the upper hand, and clothesline Aries over the top rope to the floor, where Aries would then hightail it out of there, as Shelley looked on with a look of anger.
Backstage, James Gibson was warming up for the tag team match him and Brent Albright had against the Naturals coming up tonight. Albright walked into the locker room, and started talking to Gibson. He said that with his Ultimate X match coming up at Destination X, he needs to keep himself well rested and ready, so he wouldn't be going out there tonight, and that James would have to go it alone. Albright said sorry, but that is how it goes when he is in a higher position in TNA. Albright walked off leaving Gibson looking dumbfounded.
Triple X vs Team 3D & Kazarian THis wasn't much of a match as it was an entertaining brawl. Kazarian is mad over with the fans, while they hate Team 3D, and Triple X is cheered, but not over Kazarian. Daniels, who is in Ultimate X at Destination X, brawled with Kazarian through the crowd, leaving a DX preview with Team 3D facing off with Skipper and Senshi. Senshi was about to score a win over Devon, so Ray low blowed him, getting their team DQed. Winners: Triple X
After that, Team 3D began srtting up two tables to put Skipper and Senshi through, which both Daniels and Kazarian saw. They looked at each other, nodded, and ran back to the ring to a huge ovation. They prevented 3D from putting XXX through tables, and put Devon and Ray through the tables instead. Kazarian offered a handshake to Daniels, saying, "See you in Ultimate X", to which Daniels accepted. Kazarian left as Triple X made their pose for the crowd.
James Gibson vs The Naturals Despite Albright ditching out on him, Gibson looked cool, calm and collected, and managed to out perform the Naturals in every way, hitting a sick looking tornado DDT oon Stevens to pick up the impressive victory. Winner: James Gibson
AJ Styles came down to the ring with a mic, and called out Jeff Jarrett, who did not answer or come out. Styles said the attack on him last week was unwarranted, and that he asked Jim Cornette for a match with Jarrett at Destination X, which was granted. Styles put over the fact that every match at Destination X this year was No DQ, and said that Jarrett would pay for his actions.
Samoa Joe vs Tomko A really short match, the two took turns trading some powerful and stiff shots, but everything came to a halt when Bobby Roode and Petey Williams interfered and attacked Tomko.Samoa Joe was upset, and at first thought Cage had interfered. No Contest
Backstage, James Storm was doing an interview to hype himself up, when all of a sudden, Christian Cage came out of nowhere, hitting him with a chairshot over the head, which broke the chair in half. Blood started seeping from Storm's head, and Cage laughed. He said this is his interview time now, and that Samoa Joe can consider that a message. Cage said if Joe wants him, it will be at Destination X.
Kurt Angle vs Abyss This was an awesome main event, with a white hot crowd. Kurt Angle is so over it isn't even funny, and Abyss got a good crowd response two. Abyss kept Angle on his toes, but Angle fought back, hitting an Olympic Slam, but Abyss twisted out of an ankle lock attempt, and as Angle rushed at him, caught him and connected with a Black Hole Slam, to score the upset victory! Abyss celebrated to end the show. Winner: AbyssMarch 8, 2007 Kazarian vs Chris Sabin Impact opened up with a preview of Ultimate X on Sunday with two of the competitors going at it. This was a real treat, as the two worked really well together. Kazarian tried to land several unique kicks, but Sabin dodged them, and actually connected with the Cradle Shock, but when he made the pin, Kazarian got his foot on the bottom rope. Sabin tried for another one, but Kazarian slipped behind him and got him in a small package. Winner: Kazarian
After the match, Team 3D began making their way to the ring to go after Kazarian, Sabin remained in the ring, ready to fight with him, but Triple X made the big save, attacking Team 3D from behind. Christopher Daniels told Ray that the legacy of Team 3D ends at Destination X
Rhino vs Gabriel Jackson Jackson is just a local indy talent who TNA brought in to be squashed, and the match lasted about thirty seconds. Powerslam, irish whip, Gore, end of story. Winner: Rhino
After the match, Rhino got on a mic and said he would win back his world championship at Destination X, and none of the chumps in the match would stop him. This brought out Abyss, and the two of them brawled all around the ringside area, until Rhino whipped Abyss into the crowd barrier. Rhino then gored Abyss, taking a section of the barrier out, and knocking both of them out.
Christian Cage vs Chris Harris Harris got this match based off the attack Cage did on James Storm last week, even though AMW isn't currently together. Harris fought pretty well, keeping this a somewhat even match, but Cage managed to low blow Harris when the referee wasn't looking, and hit the Unprettier for the pinfall. Winner: Christian Cage
After the match, Samoa Joe came out from the crowd and jumped into the ring. Cage tried to run, but Joe caught him, and stiffed him around, before hitting the muscle buster. Joe said that it was on at Destination X. Jim Cornette came down to the ring area, and said that they would indeed face off one on one at Destination X, in a #1 Contenders Match! Whoever won would face the TNA World Champion for the title at Lockdown!
Jeff Jarrett was being interviewed about his attack on AJ Styles two weeks ago. Jeff said that it was only business, a way to get back into the thick of things, since AJ Styles had just won that title match contract at Against All Odds. AJ Styles walked up to Jarrett backstage, and said to settle down, because he'd wait three days until Destination X to take Jarrett down. Jarrett laughed and said Styles had no chance of winning. AJ grinned, and said that he was confident enough that he would win, that he was putting his Title Shot Contract on the line in the match. Jarrett warned him that was a huge mistake.
Jay Lethal vs Puma Just some solid, all around great X-Division action. Puma has been well recieved in his appearances thus far, and finally was able to pick up a win here, blocking the Lethal Combination, and connecting with an Edgecator like move, that Mike Tenay called the "Wild Side" Winner: Puma
Austin Aries cut a promo backstage, saying that at Destination X, he would finally prove he was better than Alex Shelley
Kurt Angle came down to the ring with Tomko before their match was scheduled to start, and said his loss to Abyss was no big deal, that everyone loses, and that he still felt fine going into the Gauntlet at Destination X.
Kurt Angle & Tomko vs Bobby Roode & Petey Williams Roode held his own well in here, he had to, since Tomko was furious with him for the attack last week. Williams managed to go toe to toe with Angle with some mat wrestling, but eventually, Angle's experience was too much, as he got Petey in an ankle lock. Williams tapped out, and Tomko laid Roode out with a big boot. Winner: Angle & Tomko
After the match, as Angle and Tomko celebrated, Tomko turned and took Kurt Angle down with a vicious big boot. Tomko grabbed a mic and said that he was sorry, but the title match was every man for themselves, and that he would walk out of Destination X the champion. This garnered heavy boos from the crowd, as Tomko walked to the back, smiling.

Both iMPACT! shows were good man. Didn't really like that it was posted on the same post though. Shelley/Puma; great way to open up the show and Shelley winning only makes it better. Liked Aries coming in and brawling with Shelley. Angle/Abyss looked like a solid main event. Somewhat suprised but glad that Abyss got the win on Angle here.
Sabin/Kaz on the second iMPACT! was gold. Loving how you book all these great X-Division wrestlers. Not a big fan of Harris and his matches in the past with Cage were pretty bad but glad Cage won. Main Event was a good one
I like that the PPV has the stip of every match being No DQ. The 30-Minute Chase Guantlet looks very interesting and I am curious in seeing the outcome of this match. Joe/Christian looks like it will be amazing. Ultimate X is also looking very nice. This PPV is stacked man.

Note: Sorry the write up isn't that good compared to my usual PPV standards, but it is still a good show I feel. And Lockdown, I promise you, will be amazing.March 11, 2007 TNA Tag Team Championships Team 3D (c) vs Triple X(Senshi & Elix Skipper) Great way to start of Destination X 2007, with a revived Triple X and the tag team titles on the line. Team 3D had some absolutely major heat here, and Triple X got an absolutely huge pop, the impact zone loves these guys. It started off with Senshi and Brother Ray, and Ray tried to land some hard forearm shots on Senshi, who dodged them. Ray tried to work him into the corner, but Senshi managed to tag in Elix Skipper without Ray noticing, and then Senshi backed into the corner on his own accord. Ray made a move to get him there, and Skipper took him down with a enzurguri, and almost got the pin there, but it was only a near fall. Skipper tagged Senshi back in, and Senshi went to work on Ray, using some stiff sounding kicks to work over his torso and thighs. Finally, Ray would do something productive by raking the eyes of Senshi, and taking him down with a clothesline. Both men made tags, and Devon and Skipper had a fast paced trade off, each landing some jumping clotheslines and tackles, and the two would battle back and forth for several minutes, before Team 3D got an advantage when Devon irish-whipped Skipper into his corner. Ray began attacking him, and Senshi tried to come into the ring to help, but the referee stopped him, allowing Team 3D to double team Skipper. Devon tagged in Ray, and they hit the backwards 3D move they do, which only got a near fall. Team 3D began making frequent tags and isolating Skipper, but in one particular moment, when Devon had a sleeper hold on Skipper, Elix began to fight back, and he hit some elbows to Devon, getting out of the hold. Skipper ran up the turnbuckle pads in one corner until he was standing on the top rope, and then Skipper ran along the ropes halfway across the length of the ring, before diving off and tackling down Brother Devon! The crowd went absolutely nuts at the display of Skipper's athleticism, and both men made hot tags. Ray rushed at Senshi, who ducked under his attack. Ray had run into the corner, and turned around to face Senshi. Ray began bad mouthing him, when all of a sudden, Senshi dropped down on all fours. Elix Skipper ran and jumped onto his back, and then leaped forward, crashing into Ray! Skipper got back up and clotheslined Devon out of the ring. Ray was lying on his back on the mat, and Senshi climbed to the top rope, and hit the double foot stomp right on his chest! Senshi makes the pin, and we have new tag team champions! Winners: Triple X
Austin Aries vs Alex Shelley This match was the shortest of the show, but was sweet. Like their Against All Odds match, this was nothing but a straight up fight, but this time, it was no disqualifications, which the two took advantage of, starting off by trading straight right hands back and forth for a couple of minutes, before Shelley got Aries in the corner and began wailing shots down on him there. Aries got out of this predicament by a well placed kick to the gut of Shelley, and hit a neckbreaker to follow up. Aries then leaped on top of Shelley and began nailing him with right and left hands, cutting ihm above the left eye. Aries noticed this cut, and picked up Shelley, and began repeatedly ramming his head into the corner, opening up the wound much more. The two would fight like this for a while longer, before Aries would get cocky and go for a moonsault. Shelley avoided this, and then hit a superkick like move to the face of Austin Aries. Shelley quickly followed it up with Sliced Bread #2 to get the win, and some revenge. Winner: Alex Shelley
Backstage, James Storm is being interviewed, and he says that Christian Cage better hope he wins that contenders bout with Samoa Joe tonight, and get the somewhat immunity that comes with being in the main event, because if he lost tonight, Storm was going to come and kick his ass for the attack a couple of weeks ago, and if Cage loses, he's sorry bout his damn luck!
AJ's Title Shot Contract on the Line AJ Styles vs Jeff Jarrett This was alright, but the crowd wasn't the most into this one, since there was hardly any build up. Everyone was solidly behind AJ Styles, but Jarrett played to his heel persona to perfection as usual, getting this match more heat as it went on. Early on in the match, Jarrett used the rake of the eyes, the cowardly. "hide in the rope break" techniques, everything to piss off the crowd and get AJ Styles off focus. AJ finally hit something huge, a suplex and then a quick springboard crossbody, but Jarrett then almost stole it, when Styles went for a reverse DDT, Jarrett dropped down and rolled him up in a schoolboy, and grabbed the ropes for leverage, but AJ managed to kick out. Jarrett went for a Stroke quickly when they had both gotten up, but AJ countered into a Russian leg sweep. Styles hit a quick standing moonsault, and got the surprise pin on Jarrett. Winner: AJ Styles
The crowd marked huge for AJ Styles winning the match, and after wards, he held up the Sieze the Shot briefcase above his head, reminding everyone that he had a title shot whenever he wanted it.
Ultimate X Match X-Division Championship Kazarian (c) vs Brent Albright vs Chris Sabin vs Christopher Daniels This wasn't the absolute best Ultimate X done, but it was very entertaining, and was one of the most interesting ones by far. Brent Albright, despite being way out of his element, made it work early on, as the tradition of everyone weakening their opponents before attempting to climb the scaffolding and then go across the ropes continued. Albright was the very best early on, as he used his technical skill and mat work to keep the rest of his opponents grounded, and avoid their moves. Sabin and him ended up being the last two standing at one point, and Sabin tried to hit a springboard moonsault to take Albright to the ground. But Albright caught Sabin, and fell forward in a powerslam like move. With all his opponents down, Albright climbed to the top rope, and slowly climbed the couple steps onto the scaffolding. He timidly reached out to grab the cable to go across, but was too nervous here, and it took him several long moments to jump up and grab the cable. He slowly tried to make his across, but was so slow, that Kazarian, who had been outside the ring, climbed up the scaffold Albright had climbed, from the outside of the ring. so he was on the very top of the structure, and then he climbed down the other side just enough so he was on top of the cable Albright was on! Kazarian swung himself down in such a way that he came to be holding onto the cable the same way the others would be going across it, and he was directly behind Albright! Kazarian let go of the cable, and grabbed Albright, and the two came down from the cables, and Kazarian hit Albright with a german suplex off of Ultimate X! Holy crapchants filled the arena, as Sabin and Daniels were up, and climbing opposite cables from each other. They met in the middle, and tried to kick each other down. Finally, Sabin knocked Daniels off, but Kazarian was now up, and he springboarded off of the ropes, and brought Sabin down off the cables with a powerbomb, getting another pop from the crowd. Albright had gotten up, and Kazarian hit him quickly with a Wave of the Future, and then went across the cables, pulling down the X-Title to retain. Winner: Kazarian
After the match, as Kazarian is walking up the ramp with the X-Division Title over his shoulder, a message plays on the titantron. It says TNA's Newest Superstar is coming at Lockdown, and he is coming for the X-Division Title.
#1 Contenders Match Samoa Joe vs Christian Cage This was a hotly anticipated match, as it had lots of heat, and was two people that hadn't really hooked up much. People had been waiting for this since the two men teamed up at Final Resolution. They teased the crowd early on, with Joe making a run at Cage, only for Christian to slide out the ring. Eventually, Joe just got sick of this, and when Cage did it, Joe followed him to the outside. Xage ran around to the other side of the ring, and then slid into it. Joe slid after him, and Cage began taking the boots to him. Christian locked a single leg boston crab in on Joe, adding some surprise, but it made sense, since Joe was bigger than Cage, it would take more energy to deliver different moves, and this could keep Joe grounded. Joe fought out of the hold fairly easily, and showed why he is the Samoan submission machine by locking in a weird looking abdominal stretch that also put a lot of tweak on Cage's knees. Cage finally rolled out of that one, and got to his feet, to see Joe running at him. Cage stepped forward, and jumped, hitting a dropkick on Joe's knee, taking him down. Cage went to the top rope, and tried to connect with a frog splash, but Joe got his knees up, to the crowd's delight. Joe then twisted Cage in a unique way and got him into a mexican surfboard! Cage was, however, within reaching distance of a rope, and he grabbed it. What followed was an exchange of Joe hitting some signature moves, like his huge kick in the corner, only for Cage to counter with something like a DDT. Cage would later hit a tornado DDT, and go to the top rope again. But Joe got up quickly and threw a forearm at Cage, catching him off guard. Joe got Cage ready for a musclebuster, and hit it! Joe made the cover, but only got the two count! Joe lifted Cage up, and hit an atomic drop, and then ran backwards, bouncing off the ropes, going for a clothesline, but Cage ducked. He got behind Joe and tried to twist in an Unprettier, but Joe pushed him forward, and Cage hit the ropes an came back, and Joe hit a bicycle kick type of move. Cage spun around and was going to fall down on his face, when Joe grabbed him from behind and dropped down into the coquina clutch! After a few moments, Cage had no choice but to tap, giving Samoa Joe a World Title Match at Lockdown! Winner: Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe celebrates as he will now finally get his chance at the TNA World Championship for the first time since Turning Point.
30 Minute Chase the Champion Gauntlet Match Whoever is in possession of the Title at the End of the Time Limit Wins TNA World Championship Kurt Angle (c) vs Tomko vs Abyss vs Rhino vs Bobby Roode vs Petey Williams The time limit is thirty minutes, and pinfalls must occur in the ring. Only the champion is eligible to be pinned or made to submit, and anyone who successfully does so is now in possession of the title, and are now the only one eligible to be beaten. Whoever carries the title at the expiration of the time limit walks out of Destination X the TNA World Champion. First Ten Minutes: To start off the match, every wrestler in it, despite all having beef with each other, surrounded Kurt Angle. Everyone wanted their chance at the gold. Angle eventually just said enough, and made the first move, going right for Tomko, who had betrayed him on Impact. Angle began throwing blows at Tomko, while Rhino and Abyss went at it. Roode and Williams looked at each other, and the two of them attacked both Tomko and Angle. Tomko had gained the advantage over Angle, and as he was attacked, he turned to face Roode, and then took him down to the mat with a clothesline. Petey jumped onto Tomko's back, wrenching in a sleeper hold, but Angle had gotten up, and positioned himself, and Olympic Slammed Williams off of the back on Tomko. Tomko turned around and tried to catch Angle off guard with a big boot, but Angle caught his foot, and tripped him up, and flipped him over in the ankle lock! This was to cause pain and to survive, since Angle couldn't pin anyone. Rhino had knocked Abyss out of the Ring, and he Gored Angle while he had Tomko in the lock, and pinned him to be in possession of the title. Middle Ten Minutes: Williams and Roode had been working together still, trying to keep Rhino the champion, and at this moment, they were keeping Abyss at bay, while Rhino alternated by attacking Tomko and Angle. Petey Williams grabbed a steel chair to hammer Abyss with, but while he was gone, Abyss planted Roode with a black hole slam. Rhino saw this, and ran, hitting Abyss with a Gore! Williams slid back into the ring, admiring Rhino's handiwork, when all of a sudden, Williams smashed the chair over Rhino's head! Petey set him up, and YES! Canadian Destroyer on Rhino! He managed to connect! Williams quickly covered Rhino, and got the pin, being the man in possession. Roode had recovered a bit, and looked on at Petey in disbelief. Petey began gloating to Rhino's body and then to Roode, when Roode smiled and told Petey to turn around. He did, and was met with a big boot by Tomko, who pinned him to take the title. Final Ten Minutes: This was just straight up intense, with the title switching so many times so quickly in the end you'd almost think this was an X-Division Gauntlet. Tomko looked dominant for a good four minutes, until Roode managed to surprise him with a rib breaker and then a DDT to pin him. Roode lost it soon after to Abyss, who caught him in a chokeslam. Abyss lost it to Kurt Angle, who got in a good Olympic Slam. Angle lost it to Rhino, with a gore. Tomko put away Rhino for the rest of the match and gained possession with a pumphandle slam. But in the final minute, Petey Williams went after Tomko, distracting him. Tomko through Williams out of the ring, but neglected to notice Kurt Angle creeping up behind him. Angle nailed an Olympic Slam, and locked in an ankle lock.Tomko tried not to tap out, but he gave up with 7 seconds left on the clock. Angle kept the ankle lock in until time expired, and collapsed to the mat, still champion. Winner: Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle celebrated with the championship, when Samoa Joe's music. Joe had a mic. He said that at Lockdown, the TNA fans would finally get their dream match, for the first time ever, one on one, Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe! Joe laughed, and said the dream match will end with Angle getting his ass kicked and losing the TNA Championship to Samoa Joe. Joe ended by saying he'll see Angle on Impact.

not much to say about the opener except i'm glad xxx got the victory.
i wish shelley/aries would have gotten more time, it was one of the better built feuds on the show imo and it felt rushed. hoping for a return match.
glad aj retained his title shot, hoping to see it used well.
wish albright would have murdered everyone with half nelson suplexes and took the title in ux. kazarian is a good second choice. the tease after is awesome stuff, i hope you build it as a big surprise and don't reveal until the actual ppv.
joe winning the #1 contenders match is awesome. the match sounded awesome. hope joe gets the belt and feuds wit aj.
the main event, well petey williams sticks out like a sore thumb here and imo you over complicated it with the whole possession of the belt thing.and i really didn't like him hitting rhino with the cd to get his hands on the belt. it didn't work for me at all tbh. i'm glad tomko got to look good at the end but angle getting the win was probably the right decision.
joe coming out at the end was fitting and worked nicely.
looking forward to lockdown.

Glad Triple X won, keep them going. Glad to see that AJ still has his shot at the title. He is due a title run i think. Great that Joe is Number 1 Contender. Joe vs. AJ would be epic! Quite glad about Angle winning and it was a good main event. Keep up the great work .

TNA Impact Preview March 15, 2007
Impact will be absolutely huge this week, as the beginning of some of the biggest hype in TNA history will be witnessed: Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe! At Lockdown, Samoa Joe defeated Christian Cage to become the number one contender to the TNA World Championship, and in the main event, Kurt Angle successfully beat the clock and regained possession of the world title from Tomko seven seconds before the Chase the Champion Gauntlet Match ended. Arguably the most anticipated match in TNA history, Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe will battle one on one for the first time at Lockdown, two of the most competitive wrestlers in the industry today, going at it for the first time in a steel cage seems to be a fitting way. Their paths took them separate ways upon Angle's arrival in TNA, but the patience of the fans has paid off! Samoa Joe notified TNAWrestling.com to say that this match with angle is more personal than you would expect, and that on Impact, he would call down Angle to tell him and all of our fans why. What is Joe's reasoning, and will the two come to blows?
Kazarian pulled off the improbable, and retained his X-Division Championship at Destination X in the Ultimate X match. But after the match, a video played announcing that he will face a mystery challenger at Lockdown for the title! That individual will not be revealed until Lockdown, so Kazarian will have little chance to prepare for a new challenger. This week, a battered and bruised Kazarian will participate in an X-Division Showcase Match, along with 5 other participants. Kazarian, Austin Aries, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Jay Lethal and Puma all partake in this Showcase. Will Kaz build up some momentum?
Triple X of Senshi and Elix Skipper defeated Team 3D at Destination X in the only title change of the night, as they won the Tag Team Championships. They have been given permission to defend in Freebirds Rules, meaning any two of them can defend the gold at any given time. This week, the team of Brent Albright and James Gibson will take them on, for the belts! Will the title reign end quickly to these two impressive talents in TNA?
Petey Williams will take on Bobby Roode this week. Roode has told us that both he and Rhino are furious at Petey for betraying Rhino to try to win the world title in the Gauntlet match. Will Williams defeat the bigger man in Roode? Also, several TNA crew members have reported that Tomko is one angry man after coming seven seconds away from winning the world title at Destination X. Will Tomko do anything to take out his frustration? All this and more on Impact!

Loved Destination X, The idea of having every match no dq is a bit out there but if you aren't going to have every match in a cage at Lockdown. Triple X winning was awesome , Also liked the Shelley Aries match. Would Have prefered Aries to have won though. Ultimate X sounded awesome but once again I don't like the winner I would have loved you forever (no homo ) if Sabin had won it. Angle/Joe will be awesome. You have a new reader just from Destination X. P.S If you have the time could you reply to DOWWE/ECW Revived?

Triple-X winning the belts is a great move on your part. In my opinion, Team 3D has become one of the more boring tag-teams in recent years. I'm also glad that Samoa Joe had an encounter with Angle after he defended his title, since I've been a fan of the both of them feuding from the start. Keep up the good work, Stone.

Triple X as new tag team champions is superb, and one of the best booking decisions I've seen in a TNA 2007 diary. I really hope you continue the three man rule, since that always made their matches interesting. Good to see Shelley getting the win, I really hope he gets a good push soon. Good to see AJ getting the win and I really hope that he successfully cashes in the title contract. The ultimate X match sounded awesome, and it's good to see Kazarian getting the win. Joe V. Angle is freaking awesome. I'm so glad that both men won their matches and their Lockdown match should be great.

Destination X was a great show. The opening match was really exciting, a great way to start the shw off. I'm glad XXX got the win and the titles. Aries/Shelley sounded like a good match, wish it was a little longer though. The ending sounded pretty cool, the match could have gone either way but Shelley winning is fine with me. Jarrett/Styles was ok, but nothing to special. I loved the way how Jarrett would cheat to build more heel heat. Anyways, I'm glad Styles picked up the win, I hate Jarrett, tbh. The Ultimate X Match sounded sweet, actually. Albright seemed to really be on his game, I kinda wish he would have won. Anyways, Kaz winning is fine, and the ending was great. Samoa Joe/Christian Cage was a great match, but too me was kinda confusing to read. Other than that, it was fine. The ending was amazing, imo. I'm glad Joe won, but I would have been fine with Cage. The main event was very cool, the concept was awesome. It looked like Tomko had the win, but Angle wouldnt give up. Anyways, I'm glad Angle won the match, I'm a fan of his. However, after the match, I marked out when Samoa Joe came out and challenged Angle, that match at Lockdown should be amazing. Well, thanks for the reply to TNA 2008.

Destination X was a really good show.
Love Triple X winning the Tag Titles and I hope they have a very long reign with the belts. However make sure Team 3D don't win them back.
Aries V Shelley sounds like a good match. Glad Shelley got the win and I hope you push him for the X-Division Title. Aries I hope either continues his feud with Shelley or start one up with someone else before going after the X-Division Title.
Glad Styles got the win over Jarrett. I hope Styles holds on to his title shot for a while and sort of play mind games with Kurt Angle about when he is going to use it.
Like Kazarian retaining the X-Division Title although Chris Sabin should have walked out champion. I love this big mystery thing and wonder who you signed. Glad you wont reveal it will Lockdown and I cant wait to see who it is. Also Kazarian should lose the belt at Lockdown.
Samoa Joe V Christian Cage sounds like a great match and love Joe getting the win. I can see Samoa Joe winning the belt at Lockdown however losing it quite shortly after. Joe is great and everything but I think a short reign with the belt would be interesting and possibly cause Joe to go crazy and destroy everyone.
The main event sounds amazing, good write up. Really glad Kurt Angle retained and plus Petey holding onto the World Title even for a few seconds is the best thing in the world. Hope you don't push Tomko anymore I just don't see him as a main eventer and I think his place in these matches could go to someone else. Kurt Angle V Samoa Joe dream match at Lockdown should be amazing and look forward to it.

March 15, 2007 TNA Tag Team Championships Triple X(Daniels & Skipper) vs Brent Albright & James Gibson Early on, this was an extremely competitive match, avoiding isolation tactics in turn for fast paced action with a lot of tags. Finally, Daniels succeeded in putting Albright down badly with a harsh DDT, and as Albright went to tag in Gibson, James just dropped off of the apron, and fingered Albright. Albright looked on in shock as Gibson walked up the ramp backstage, and Daniels hit the Angels Wings to retain the titles. Winners: Triple X
Rhino is backstage being interviewed by Jeremy Borash about his future plans now that is, at least for the moment out of title contention. Before Rhino can really say anything, out of nowhere comes Tomko, who basically just takes Rhino's head off with a big boot. Tomko picks up Rhino's limp body, and begins pounding away on him until security rushes in and pulls him off of Rhino, who isn't moving at all.
Jim Cornette appears on the video screen, and thanks the audience and the viewers at home for tuning in to Impact, and to be sure to order Lockdown on April 15, live in the Reunion Arena in Dallas. He reminds everyone that every match is inside the six sides of steel. He puts over Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe happening for the first time
"Badass" Bobby Roode vs Petey Williams Despite the clash of styles, this was good because of all the time spent over the last couple years teaming up. Roode acted cocky, like he knew he was better, and Petey kind of held back, feeding his ego, until the end, when Roode went for the payoff, Williams blocked it, and rolled up Roode to get the three count. Winner: Petey Williams
A video package highlighting Kazarian's X-Division Title reign is played, but cuts off at the end, and text appears on screen saying, "At Lockdown, Justice in the X-Division Will Be Served!"
Ron Killings vs Eric Young vs Lance Hoyt vs Shark Boy Ah, the jobbers match, perfect filler to get these guys on TV. Short, but a pretty decent match, Killings got the win when he was on the top rope, and Shark Boy was slumped over, as he did an Axe Kick off the top rope! The crowd popped for that one. Winner: Ron Killings
X-Division Showcase Kazarian vs Austin Aries vs Alex Shelley vs Chris Sabin vs Jay Lethal vs Puma This.Was.Insane. Just after two of these guys were in an awesome Ultimate X Match, they still didn't hold back. The highlight is when all six men went on hip toss frenzies at the same time, so they would take turns hitting one, then be hit by one, and so on. Aries and Shelley fought their way to the outside and continued to fight. Puma stole the show though, as Lethal, Sabin, and Kazarian all were on the outside together after a series of suicide dives, Puma springboarded off the top rope, and performed a 630 splash to them on the outside! But Puma wasn't able to get the win, as when he brought Kazarian back into the ring and went for a double arm suplex, Kazarian got out of it and hit a Wave of the Future to seal the impressive victory in an amazing match! Winner: Kazarian
Backstage, Jeremy Borash in interviewing Jeff Jarrett, asking him about his loss to AJ Styles at Destination X. Jarrett tells Borash to shut his mouth and respect the people who have paved the way for guys like AJ Styles to succeed. Before Jarrett can say any more, Christian Cage walks on screen, to a lot of boos. Cage says that he knows the two of them have had issues in the past, but since neither of them have much to do right now, that he has an idea. He says James Storm is going to become a thorn in his side for doing some mere business in attacking him. He suggests that Jarrett and him should work together, and take James Storm out of TNA for good. Jarrett asks why is this his problem, to which Cage responds, that Storm used to be an ally of Jarrett's, but abandoned him in 2005. Jarrett says he will think about it.
Senshi vs Matt Bentley Good match here, Bentley got some moves in and didn't look weak, but Senshi would go on to win with a Warriors Way, pleasing the crowd. Winner: Senshi
Samoa Joe's music hit, and he made his way down to the ring. Joe got on the mic.
Joe: Finally, I, Samoa Joe, am getting another chance at the TNA World Championship! A one on one chance! My last opportunity was a triple threat match, where I wasn't pinned, and let me tell you, I was pissed off about it. Normally, I wouldn't make my title match personal, but since Kurt angle is the champion, I'm making an exception!
*Kurt angle's music hits, and he walks on stage with a mic in his hand.
Angle: Well then Joe, explain to me why you're making this personal. I'm good with going into Lockdown, in a dream match, with the best and most competitive opponent I've ever faced. Why aren't you?
Joe: Remember Kurt back in December, the 6 pack challenge to determine who would face Rhino at Final Resolution for the title? A match you won, and then went on to win the title? Well, in that 6 Pack Challenge, you went on to pin me! You ended my undefeated streak last night, when someone else distracted me from outside the ring! Meaning it was totla fluke! I can handle being beaten by someone deserving to win a match, but not like that Kurt.
Angle: Are you serious Joe? I mean c'mon! You're making this personal because of that? What a joke!
Joe: I'm getting payback for what you did Kurt, and I'm going to take away your title too, to make it all even sweeter!
At this, Kurt angle starts walking down the ramp, and he gets into the ring, and goes face to face with Samoa Joe.
Joe: I deserve to be the world champion, I'm the best wrestler in TNA!
Angle: I'm the best wrestler in the world!
Just as the two seem ready to go into fisticuffs, the music of AJ Styles hits on the PA system. Both Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe turn slowly to face the stage, and AJ Styles walks out onto it, microphone in hand.
Styles: Hey guys, sorry to break up this tense moment, but I figured, it's getting to be some damn good TV, so why not add a little more tension? I've decided that at Lockdown, Angle vs Joe isn't going to happen. I'm cashing in my title shot to add myself to the match, making it a triple threat match!
At this, the fans go absolutely nuts, as the dream match might have just gotten even sweeter.
Styles: It might seem dumb to some people, but look at it this way. If I cashed it in one on one, all the focus is going to be on me. Now, there is more confusion, and I excel in triple threat matches. Need I remind anyone of Unbreakable 2005? I think my best chance at winning the TNA World Title again rests in this decision. See you boys next week, and try to play nice!
Impact goes off the air with AJ Styles smiling on the stage, and Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle looking dumbfounded in the ring.

Opener sounds good and glad Triple X got the win. Gibson turning on Albright sounds good and look forward to their feud.
Tomko/Rhino feud could be cool as a little filler for both of them. Just make sure Rhino beats Tomko at the end of it.
Roode V Petey sounds like a good match and hope to see more of them two in the future.
Push Ron Killings. Thats all that needs to be said for that Fatal Four Way.
Like the X-Division Showcase and Kazarian winning worked. Still wonder who this mystery guy is that will face him at Lockdown.
Cage & Jarrett teaming up could be really good but I see it backfiring and Jarrett turning on Cage. Maybe that could lead to Chris Harris face turn and helping Cage?
Push Senshi to the moon. Hope he wins the X-Division Title later in the year.
End segment was well done. Not sure about AJ Styles being added into the match but I see your going for something like Samoa Joe still does not get a one on one opportunity for the World Title. Hope AJ Styles wins at Lockdown and then feuds with Samoa Joe giving him his one on one match he wanted.

The opener to iMPACT! was solid, Cam. I didn't expect Albright and Gibson to go over, so XXX winning was no surprise. I'm not too sure on Roode being "Badass" as I think I prefer him as the gimmick he has in TNA atm. The X-Division Showcase was a nice idea, and Kazarian winning was expected. I'm wondering who who will be his mystery opponent at Lockdown. Holy ****, AJ/Joe/Angle will be ing off the chain! Lockdown is already looking good, man.
