April 5, 2007 Jeff Jarrett, Christian Cage, Bobby Roode & Brent Albright vs James Storm, James Gibson & Petey Williams In this handicap match, it stayed mostly like a normal tag match, but towards the end of it, the numbers game came into play, with Storm the legal man along with Jarrett, Cage, Albright and Roode knocked Storm's partners off of the apron, so that no tag could be made. Jarrett hit Storm with a stroke, and got the pin. Winners: Jarrett, Cage, Roode & Albright
Post Match, the tandem of Jarrett, Cage, Albright and Roode surrounded Storm, Williams and Gibson, looking like they were going to attack them at any second, but the America's Most Wanted theme started playing, and Chris Harris ran down the ramp with a steel chair, and slid into the ring, as the crowd went absolutely nuts. Harris leveled Jeff Jarrett with a chair shot, and then a huge brawl ensued, with Storm, Harris, Gibson and Williams managing to lay out all four other men, for the first time since they formed together. After the beat down, Chris Harris grabbed a microphone, and said that he would have been here to help out Storm and his gang sooner, but he was recovering from some injuries, but none of that matters now, since he was here. Harris said he was sick of these four jerkoffs waltzing around like they own the place, and that he had talked to Jim Cornette already, and at Lockdown, it would be a four on four Lethal Lockdown Match! James Storm ended with his trademark line, "Sorry bout your damn luck!"
Jay Lethal vs Alex Shelley This was a great matchup, and the way the elimination match for Lockdown has been showcased like this, it should be incredible. Lethal almost had the win with a diving elbow drop, but Shelley played possum, and he moved, causing Lethal to crash and burn, and Shelley connected with a Sliced Bread #2 to win. Winner: Alex Shelley
After the match, Austin Aries came on stage with a mic, and he said that Shelley was going to fail at Lockdown, and Aries would win the elimination match to get an X-Division Title shot, and that he would get revenge for the loss to Shelley at Destination X.
On the titantron, there was an interview with Rhino, and one with Tomko, both talking about how they were the biggest monster in TNA, and that they would win the Street Fight at Lockdown. When Tomko was asked about the whole situation with Abyss, Tomko refused to talk about it, saying that James Mitchell is probably just trying to get inside his head, and that if Abyss wants to get hammered again, he can bring it at Sacrifice.
Kazarian & Bentley vs The Briscoe Brothers Surprise appearance by the Briscoes here, not everyone knew who they were, but the match was pretty good. Jay and Mark got in some offense, so it looks like TNA is scouting them. Kazarian ended up getting Jay with the Wave of the Future to win it in the end though. Winners: Kazarian & Bentley
When Kazarian and Bentley were celebrating, the music of Kazarian's mystery Lockdown opponent started to play. Suddenly, the lights went out. When they came back on a few seconds later, Bentley was laid out cold on the mat, with Kazarian's X-Division Title laid out over his body. The mystery opponent has sent yet another message to the X-Division Champion!
It was announced by Jim Cornette that the main event tonight would be forcing the three opponents in Lockdown's main event, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle to team up, to take on Triple X!
Team 3D vs The Naturals Ray and Devon just crushed the Naturals, hitting both members with a 3D, and then they took the legal man, Stevens, and hit him with another 3D, to send a message. Winners: Team 3D
Brother Ray grabbed a mic, and said that at Lockdown, the beating Triple X would receive would be even worse, since they had a steel cage to use. Devon said his "O Brother, Testify!" line, and they stormed backstage.
Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe & AJ Styles vs Triple X This was a fantastic main event, as it was a good match, and it built up the main event at Lockdown superbly. It was a case of the three opponents actually working together, but trying to show each other up. Joe showed his pure power, AJ showed his athleticism, and Angle went to town on Skipper for a while with his technical ability. Make on mistake, this was no squash, as Triple X threw everything they had at these three, and looked very strong. In the end, there was a dispute between Joe and Angle on who should be the legal man, with Joe tagging himself in. He locked Senshi in an STF, but Angle stormed in the ring anyway, and locked Senshi in an Ankle lock on the leg Joe hadn't locked! Both men refused to let go of the hold, so the referee called for the DQ. Winners: Triple X
After the match, AJ Styles just walked off, acting all embarrassed by the actions of Joe and Angle, to great comedy effect. Samoa Joe and Kurt angle got nose to nose, and started arguing, and then Joe took a swing at angle, which he ducked, and then connected with an Olympic Slam! Kurt Angle grabbed his championship belt, and posed with it in the corner of the ring facing the stage, holding it in the air, as AJ Styles watched from the stage. Samoa Joe started to stir, and Impact went off the air.Sunday, April 15, 2007 Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas Every Match is Contested inside Six Sides of Steel!TNA World ChampionshipThe War to End All Wars!Dream Triple Threat MatchKurt Angle (c) vs Samoa Joe vs AJ Styles Lethal LockdownJeff Jarrett, Christian Cage, Brent Albright & Bobby Roode vs America's Most Wanted, James Gibson & Petey Williams Steel Cage Street FightTomko vs Rhino TNA Tag Team ChampionshipsTriple X (c) vs Team 3D X-Division ChampionshipKazarian (c) vs A Mystery Opponent Elimination Match - Contenders Bout for X-TitleAlex Shelley vs Austin Aries vs Chris Sabin vs Sonjay Dutt vs Jay Lethal vs Puma

First of all, I want to thank anyone who has continued to read his diary, this show is for you guys, the most work I've ever put into a show here, period. I also want to say that I normally wouldn't have taken the main event out of the cage, but with what I wanted to do in the match, there couldn't be a cage there, so I did that. Enjoy Lockdown everyone. Sunday, April 15, 2007 Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas Theme Song: Hell - DisturbedRead me tonight, when the warnings said leave a shudder upon you Running from all that you feared in your life Soul of the night, when the sun mislead hear the horror upon you Marking the moment to straying in my Ghost of a life! And I can't get round the way you left me out in the open To leave me to die! So how can I, forget the way you lead me through the path into Heaven To leave me behind!
Now I can stay behind Save me, from wreaking my vengeance Upon you, to killing more than I can tell Burning now I bring you Hell! A huge pyrotechnics display goes off, showering a fountain of red and blue sparks around the stage of the Lockdown set, as the camera pans out, showing the fireworks display and the raging crowd, who are going absolutely nuts! The Six Sides of Steel Cage is around the ring, and the deadly Lethal Lockdown roof, with tons of various weapons hanging from it, is in the rafters, waiting to be lowered down onto the cage when it is time for the Lethal Lockdown match later on. When the fireworks are finished, Mike Tenay and Kevin Nash welcome everyone in attendence and watching at hime to TNA Lockdown 2007, where every match is contested inside Six Sides of Steel! The announce team hypes this as possibly the biggest event in TNA History, due to the main event. Kurt Angle defending his TNA World Championship against both Samoa Joe and Christian Cage! Mike Tenay hypes the fact that Samoa Joe defeated Christian Cage at Destination X to earn this championship opportunity, and that AJ Styles cashed in his Sieze the Shot briefcase he earned at Against All Odds by defeating Christopher Daniels. Kevin Nash goes over the fact that AJ Styles thinks he has a better chance to take home the gold in a triple threat match than in a singles match, where there is less focus on only him from his opponents. Tenay chips in that Styles had that same luck at Unbreakable 2005, defeating Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels in a triple threat match to win the X-Division Championship. Nash counters that point by saying this is a steel cage match, where there is less place to hide from your opponents and pick your spots. The two then agree that this will simply be a match for the ages, and that anything can happen. Next, they turn their focus to the Lethal Lockdown match. Nash thinks that Egotrip, consisting of Christian Cage, Jeff Jarrett, Bobby Roode and Bren Albright has the advantage in experience and in size, but Tenay says America's Most Wanted have that chemistry, and their partners, Petey Williams and James Gibson, while smaller, both have an incredible amount of heart, and since they have suffered so much at the hands of Egotrip, that they want this match more, and Tenay picks Team AMW. The focus shifts to the X-Division side of the card, with both announcers putting over the Elimination 6 Man Match, as everyone will be battling to earn an opportunity at the X-Division Championship. In regards to the mystery opponent Kazarian faces for his title, Nash said that a hint from Jim Cornette revealed that the mystery individual was in fact a new signing for TNA, and not someone currently on the roster. The pair then go over the last two matches of the evening, the Street Fight betwwen Rhino and Tomko first. Nash says that he knows from experience that Rhino doesn't fool around, but with how dominant Tomko is lately, he can't see Rhino winning it. Tenay disagrees, saying you can never count out the war machine, and in regards to Tomko, the Abyss factor will be present. Onto the last match, the tag team championship match with Triple X defending against Team 3D, Mike Tenay said that Triple X has the Freebirds Factor, and Team 3D will have no idea which two members of the group they will be facing. Nash says he knows how tough 3D is, but he thinks Triple X pulls it off tonight. At this point, Mike Tenay gives it away to Jeremy Borash, for the opening contest of Lockdown!
TNA Tag Team Championships Triple X(Daniels & Skipper) vs Team 3D THis was an incredibly surprising opener to Lockdown, as it was way, way better than anyone actually expected it to be. Brother Ray looks to have lost around 15 pounds in the last month and a half, and they put their hearts into this match, as did Triple X. This was more of a brawl than anything, which means that for a lot of the match, Team 3D had the huge advantage, and were in control. To begin the match, it was Brother Ray and Christopher Daniels. Daniels used his speed advantage to it's maximum, ducking under two clotheslines from Brother Ray, and then hitting a spinning heel kick, catching him right in the kisser. Daniels went to town on Ray, stomping a mudhole in him, but he made a mistake shortly after the initial attacks he performed, as he tried to slam Ray's head into the cage, but Ray wasn't weakened enough, and was able to block it. Ray then threw Daniels face first into the cage, and continued to do it repeatedly, at least ten times, and then he threw Daniels down. At this point, The Fallen Angel was busted open badly and bleeding profusely, and Ray took immediate advantage of this, raining down right hands on his head, and then locking in a chin lock. Daniels struggled a little, the effort itched onto his blood covered face, but Ray was too strong, and didn't release the hold until he was ready to do so, at which point he tagged in Devon. Devon did a couple of diving headbutts onto Daniels, and then just kept him isolated, with him and Ray making frequwnt tags in and out. Daniels was actually bleeding very badly, but he still tried to shift the momentum, occasionally hitting a couple of forearms, but then getting beat back down before he could tag in Skipper. Finally, Daniels managed to get out of there when he countered an irish whip for Devon, and then hit a flying clothelsine, taking both of them down. Both men went for a tag, and both men made it. Skipper got to show off his athletiscism, ducking under a shot from Ray, and jumping right to the top corner from the mat. Then, Skipper flipped backwards, landing behind Ray and connecting with a reverse DDT, to get the crowd going. Skipper ran and hit a huge dropkick to Devon who was still lying down, and the kick made Devon's head go into the steel cage, getting a groan from the crowd. Daniels was now back up, and the two of them double teamed Ray, hitting a double suplex. The crowd then went nuts as both Skipper and Daniels climbed to the top of the cage, one on each side. They both then jumped off the cage, hitting a big splash at the same time, Daniels on Devon, and Skipper on Ray. Skipper, the legal man, pinned the other legal man, Ray, to get the victory and retain the Tag Team Titles! Winners: Triple X
After the match, as the tandem of Elix Skipper and Christopher Daniels walked up to the stage, championships fastened around their waists, Senshi came to join them, and they made their pose at the top of the ramp, as Ray and Devon looked on, visibly upset about losing. Christopher Daniels grabbed a microphone, and told Team 3D that Destination X, and this proved beyond a single doubt that Triple X was the superior team. Ray grabbed a mic of his own, and said not so fast, that Team 3D wants one more chance at the titles, and that they have a special challenge for Triple X at Sacrifice. Daniels said it was over, that they had their chances, but Ray said that if Triple X can beat them in this challenge, and defeat them once again, then him and Devon will shake the hands of Triple X afterwards, and admit that they are truly one of the best tandems in the history of professional wrestling. Triple X begin talking in a huddle, and then Daniels says on the mic, that they will consider accepting, once they find out what the challenge is. Ray says he will reveal it on Impact this coming week.
Elimination Match - Contenders Bout for X-Division Title Alex Shelley vs Austin Aries vs Chris Sabin vs Sonjay Dutt vs Jay Lethal vs Puma This match was a little bit shorter than expected, but it was very, very intense, and it definitely showcased the X-Division, and got all of the fans riled up. Each wrestler started off the match by taking someone down, only to be taken down themselves, until Sonjay Dutt was the only one standing, after taking down Jay Lethal. All the other five participants began to stand up in a group, and then Sonjay Dutt springboarded off of the ropes, and moonsaulted over, taking everyone down again! Dutt began taking anyone who stood up with a dropkick, and then climbed to the top in one of the corners. But Austin Aries was very quick here, and he jumped up and climbed up top to meet Sonjay. Dutt tried to fight him off, but Aries was persistent, and gave Dutt a thumb to the eye, and then connected with a top rope brainbuster, getting the crowd going. Aries quickly covered Dutt, and got the three count, successfully eliminating him. Sonjay Dutt is eliminated! Chris Sabin had gotten to his feet, and when Aries rose up, Sabin tried to get him with a surprise Cradle Shock, but Aries slid behind his back, and connected with a german suplex on Sabin! Puma then went after Aries, trying to hit a step up enzurguri, but Aries ducked under it, and then got Puma in position for a gutwrench suplex, which he hit. But now, Sabin recovered, and managed to connect with a Cradle Shock on Aries, getting the pin. Austin Aries is eliminated! While Sabin eliminated Aries, Jay Lethal had gotten Alex Shelley with a belly to belly suplex into the cage, taking him down, and when Sabin was celebrating his pin over Aries, he walked right into a Lethal Combination, and Lethal pinned him! Chris Sabin is eliminated! The last three wre now Puma, Alex Shelley, and Jay Lethal. Alex Shelley looked the most impressive in this stretch, but unfortunately, was also eliminated first. Shelley hit Lethal with a sliced Bread #2, and then him and Puma had an exchange of roll ups, with each man trying five or so different ones. When they were finished, and on their feet, Puma tried to connect on Shelley with a spin kick which Shelley ducked under. Shelley would connect with a float over DDT, but before he could do anything else, Jay Lethal ran up behind him, pushing him, so he smashed Shelley's face into the cage, and then Lethal rolled him up, getting the three! Alex Shelley is eliminated! Now, with the final two being Jay Lethal and Puma, which is unexpected, the crowd is pretty anxious. Puma would connect with a Wild Side on Lethal, but instead of going for the cover, he climbed to the top of the cage, and attempted a shooting star press! But Lethal moved, and Puma landed badly on his ribs. Lethal would hit a Lethal Combination, and then it was his turn to go to the top of the cage. Jay Lethal leaped off, hitting a Diving Elbow Drop from the top of the cage! Lethal made the cover, and got the three, and earned a chance at the X-Division Championship! Winner: Jay Lethal After the match, Jay Lethal began celebrating like he just won the super bowl, as he had just arguably won one of the biggest matches of his entire career, and it was certainly well earned, with Lethal himself getting three eliminations. Jay Lethal got out of the cage, and began walking up the ramp, making motions that the championship was coming around his waist. Lethal walked backstage, and we cut to a video package for the next match.
Steel Cage Street Fight Tomko vs Rhino Before the ring entrances, the TNA production crew placed a lot of weapons around ringside, and it was explained that for this match, the cage door would be left open, but the only place where you could get a pinfall or a submission is inside the cage. The two gladiators didn't hesitate to get things going, as Rhino ran down the ramp and attacked Tomko during his entrance. The two men traded some stiff looking shots on the outside, before Tomko got the advantage, as he drove his knee and upper leg into the midsection of Rhino. Tomko then threw Rhino into the side of the cage, before clotheslining him down to the floor. Tomko tried to hit Rhino with a powerbomb on the floor, but Rhino managed to get some momentum going, countering into a backdrop which sent Tomko into the floor hard. Rhino grabbed a steel chair that was nearby, and when Tomko began to get up, Rhinp slammed the chair into the side of his head, puttting him right back down. Rhino would get a few more shots in with the chair before dropping it onto the floor. He picked Tomko up, and delivered a piledriver onto the chair, on the outside! Rhino carried Tomko's limp body to the door of the cage, and rolled him inside, and followed, meaning the two were inside the cage for the first time. Rhino began stomping away at Tomko, and then placed him into the corner. Rhino climbed to the second rope, and began raining down shots, as the crowd counted along. But after the ninth shot, before a tenth could be delivered, Tomko grabbed the legs of Rhino, and lifted him up, slamming him down in a powerbomb off the second ropes! Tomko fell on top of him in a weird cover, which Rhino kicked out of at two. The two continued to brawl and exchange momentum inside the cage, when the fight finally spilled outside of the cage again. This circumstance though, had Tomko against the ropes, and Rhino attempt to deliver a Gore, only for Tomko to move, and Rhino go through the middle and top ropes, and hit the cage, knocking the side off of it, and sending Rhino to the arena floor in a heap! Tomko looks on at this development in shock, but then a huge grin spreads across his face. Tomko steps out of the ring, and grabs a steel chain at ringside. Tomko wraps the chain around his fist, and drops down on his knees, and begins pounding away at the head of Rhino, busting hin open badly, blood pouring down his face. Tomko then wraps the chain around Rhino's neck, and Rhino struggle,s trying to unwrap the chain, but to no avail at Tomko laughs as he chokes Rhino. Finally, Tomko lets go, and then he spots a table a few feet away. Tomko walks over to it, and sets it up. He picks Rhino's limp body up, and puts it onto the table, and then, Tomko reaches into a garbage can at ringside, and pulls out a roll of duct tape! The crowd looks puzzled, but it all makes sense when Tomko begins taping Rhino in place ot the table! He tapes his legs, chest and arms down to the table, so that Rhino cannot move off of it! Tomko picks up the table with Rhino on it, and then brings it into the ring, where the one side of the cage came off. Tomko sets up the table upright in a corner, and goes to the corner opposite that one. Rhino finally comes to, and realizes the predicament he is in. He sees Tomko, and then, Tomko gives another grin, and rushes forward, hitting Rhino in the head with a vicious big boot! Tomko backs away, and then runs forward, using Rhino's own move, the Gore, to smash through the table with Rhino still taped to it! Tomko makes the cover, and gets the three count, having destroyed Rhino in the end. Winner: Tomko
After the match, as Tomko is celebrating, the lights in the arena go out, and all of a sudden, red lights come on, and the music of Abyss begins to play. But instead of Abyss coming out, we get the Father, James Mitchell. Mitchell has a microphone, and he says that in the last little while, Abyss had gone soft. Mitchell said that now, Abyss was getting ready to come back, more brutal, more vicious, more destructive than ever before, and that he was the biggest monster in TNA, not Tomko. Tomko protested this, and began to argue, and at that moment, James Mitchell told him to put up or shut up. Mitchell said Abyss wanted Tomko at Sacrifice, and Tomko said it was on. Mitchell smiled, and said he shouldn't have accepted the challenge so quickly, because at Sacrifice, it would be Barbed Wire Massacre! Tomko all of a sudden looked a little more frightened, and Mitchell began to laugh.
Kazarian makes his way down to the ring, with the X-Division Championship draped over his shoulder. He enters the six sides of steel, and he awaits his surprise opponent for the X-Division Championship, the newest member of the TNA roster. After a few moments, the lights dim, with blue spotlights illuminating the stage. The grungy/techno theme music played the past few weeks begins to play, and after a few seconds, the name Gregory Helms appears on the titantron acreen. The crowd begins going nuts as Helms steps out onto the stage, with a black trenchcoat on, as well as black tights with a white affliction style logo on them. Kazarian looks surprised, as Gregory Helms begins making his way down to the ring, and he enters the cage, and he and Kazarian prepare to face off.
X-Division Championship Kazarian vs Gregory Helms Despite Gregory Helms getting an absolutely huge crowd reaction upon his arrival, it all quickly turned to heat, as Helms went full heel, using all the ad guy tactics to try to gain possesion of the X-Division Championship. The two locked up to start things off, with Helms quickly hitting Kazarian with a thumb to the eye, and rolling him up. Helms only got a two count there. Kazarian got up to his feet, and went for a clothesline, which Helms ducked under, and then rolled up Kazarian in a school boy, holding his tights for leverage, but this attempt was also a failure. Helms managed to get one more roll up on Kazarian, and this time, he grabbed the ropes, but the referee saw him, and forced him to let go of the pin. Helms began arguing with the referee, and Kazarian took advantage of this opportunity by hitting a step up enzurguri on Helms, and then covering him. But Helms spared some energy from kicking out, as he put his foot on the bottom rope. Kazarian got up off of Helms, and Helms quickly grabbed Kazarian's left leg and pulled him down. Helms locked in a single leg crab on Kazarian, and you could see Helms trying to tweak the knee as much as he could possibly do. A look of pain spread across the face of Kazarian, as he tried to roll out of the hold, but Helms had great leverage. But Kazarian reached as far as his arms could go, and managed to snag the bottom rope, forcing the hold to be let go. Helms used his heel tactics again though, as he held the hold on, and the referee had to start counting to five. Helms broke the hold at four. This led into a stretch where Helms was in complete control, using the ropes in his attacks on Kazarian, where he focused on working over his back and legs. After landing a strong looking backdrop, Helms crouched in one of the corners, lying in wait for Kazarian to get up. When Kazarian reached his knees, Helms ran forward, and went for a Shining Wizard. Kazarian, however, moved, and when Helms was recovering from the miss, Kazarian landed a Wave of the Future! Kazarian made the cover, but only was able to get a two count! By now the fans were riled up and anxious. Kazarian didn't have control for too long though, and it became a really even matchup. The two superstars began trading suplexes, and countering each other, and then it became a case of each guy going for their finisher. Helms almost caught Kazarian with a Vertebreaker, but Kazarian knocked Helms off of him, and went for a Wave of the Future, which was blocked, and Helms slammed Kazarian down with an STO. Helms picked up Kazarian, and got him in position for a powerbomb, but as he lifted Kazarian up to his shoulders, Kazarian used the momentum to flip upwards and out of the grip of Helms, and as he dropped back down, he grabbed Helm's head and landed a huge DDT! The crowd began going nuts for the counter, and Kazarian lifted Helms up for a Wave of the Future, and landed it, and got the three to retain the title, and spoil the debut of Gregory Helms, who was still incredibly impressive! Winner: Kazarian
Backstage, Kurt Angle was walking with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship around his waist, when he was confronted by Samoa Joe. Joe made a remark about how he was going to bring the title around his waist tonight, and then he went to walk off, but Angle stopped him. Kurt said that this match was originally just going to be Joe vs Angle, and that AJ Styles got in the middle of this, and that the two of them should work together to start things off, and take out Styles, and then settle it between themselves one on one, the way it should be. Samoa Joe said that he would do whatever would benefit him the most, because the most important thing was to walk out of the match champion.
Lethal Lockdown Match Egotrip(Christian Cage, Jeff Jarrett, Brent Albright & Bobby Roode) vs Team AMW(AMW, James Gibson & Petey Williams) The Roof is Raised:The face team, America's Most Wanted's group, won the coin toss to get the advantage in the match, and the two to start things off were Petey Williams and Jeff Jarrett. Petey Williams seemed a little intimidated at first, this being one of the biggest matches of his career, so Jeff Jarrett, being the smart heel that he is, took advantage of this fact, offering a lockup, which Petey went for, and then low blowing him with a kick. Jarrett tossed William's into the corner, and began to manhandle the poor bugger, throwing lefts and rights, forearms and chops, and everything in between. Jarrett smiled with glee as he smashed Petey's poor head into the steel cage. Jarrett hit a couple backdrops and suplexes, and then teased that he was going to go for the figure four. As he went for it, when he turned his back on Williams to lock the legs, Williams kicked Jarrett off, sending him face first into the turnbuckle on the second rope in the corner. Williams went on a small spree of offense before Jarrett turned things back in his favor by using a clothesline to take Petey Williams back down. At this point, the next entrant came in, and it was Chris Harris! Harris ran down to the cage as fast as he could, and Jarrett began stomping on him as he rolled in, but Harris got up quickly. Jarrett irish whipped him, and tried to hit him with a clothesline, but Harris ducked under, and stopped in his tracks, connecting with a neckbreaker on Jarrett! Williams got up, and Harris told him to do some damage to Jarrett. Williams went for what looked like an attempt at the Canadian Destroyer, but Jarrett pulled his legs out from under him, and was getting ready to lock in a figure four, but Harris gave him a blow to the back of the head, stopping in. Petey and Harris hit a doulbe suplex on Jarrett, and then in came another entrant. Bobby Roode made his way down to the ring, and he went to help Jeff Jarrett immediately, taking out Harris from behind with a reverse DDT. Roode went right after Williams, who springboarded off of the ropes, and took Roode down with a cross body. The two rolled around trading shots, while Jarrett got up to his feet and went after Harris. A couple of minutes of this went by, and then again, the faces got the numbers advantage, as James Gibson came down to join the match. Things were actually really even here, as Jarrett and Roode were able to keepo Harris down, and hold off Gibson and Williams, and then things turned ugly for the faces. Christian Cage came down to the ring, and then it was all Egotrip for the next two minutes. Cage hit an Unprettier on Harris, and Jarrett locked Williams in a figure four, while Roode pounded away at Gibson in the corner. Cage locked Harris in a boston crab, facing the entrance ramp, waiting for the last entrant of Team AMW. The countdown clock reached zero, and James Storm came running down to the ring. He got in the cage, and went after Christian first, who he took down, and then Jarrett went after him. Storm ducked under Jarrett's clothesline, and then Roode ran at him, and Storm took hiim down with a huge Superkick! Storm then planted a superkick to Jarrett's ja w as well! But Christian was alright, and he began trading right hands with Storm, and the two of them battled against the ropes. They each tried to slam each others head into the cage, to be blocked, but at this point, Brent Albright had come into the cage, and smashed Storm's head into the cage himself. Now, the weapon covered roof lowered onto the cage, and it was anyones game! The Roof is Lowered: By this point, pure pandemonium broke out, and everyone scrambled up the side of the cage and the corners to retrieve a weapon to use. Jeff Jarrett grabbed a guitar, and when he went to use it on Chris Harris, Harris moved, and Jarrett nailed Bobby Roode, his own teammate! Jarrett spun around, to receive a Catatonic by Harris, woh went for the cover, but Brent Albright broke up the pin attempt. Albright grabbed a chair someone had brought down, and nailed Harris with it. Albright tried to hit Storm with it, but he used a drop toehold, to send Albright crashing down face first onto the chair! It looked like everything was in the control of the face team, but it began to get more even when Christian Cage used a trash cna on Petey Williams and James Gibson. Cage hit Gibson with an Unprettier right on the can, and went for the pin, but James Storm broke it up. Jarrett was back up, and he went after Storm, while Bobby Roode and Chris Harris began climbed the cage, and they slipped through the opening, and went on top of Lethal Lockdown! The two began trading shots on top of the cage, until Harris finally got Roode onto the table set up there. Harris set up a ladder that was on top of the cage, and climbed it. Harris tried to land a big splash on Roode through the table, but Roode moved, and Harris crashed, and eliminated himself from the match pretty much. Bobby Roode grabbed a metal pipe from the top of the cage, and started climbing down to the ring again. Jeff Jarrett and James Storm took each other down with clotheslines, and Brent Albright took down Gibson, only to be taken out by a chairshot from Petey Williams. Williams failed to notice Bobby Roode behind him, and Roode smashed the pipe on the back of Petey's head. Williams dropped down out of it, and Roode covered him, getting the three. Winners: Egotrip
The roof of the cage begins to raise back up once Harris back down, and all the members of Egotrip got to their feet, and began to celebrate the huge win. All of a sudden, Gregory Helms made his way down to the ring, and Christian Cage announced to everyone that he had decided to join this little charade, and that it was time to make a final statement. Egotrip, now with a fifth man in Helms, began to beat down on their opponents, to tons of boos from the crowd. But all of a sudden, the lights went out, and a familiar theme began to play. The lights came back on, and standing in the middle of the ring, with a black baseball bat in hand, is Sting! Roode rushes at Sting, who sidesteps and clocks him with the bat. Albright and Helm also go after him, and also get hit by the bat. Jarrett and Cage run, and Roode, Albright and Helms all follow. The crowd is going nuts, as Sting grabs a mic, and stands in the middle of the recovering AMW, Gibson and Williams. Sting says he is disgusted, and that he had to even up the odds here, and if Egotrip wants a war, then they better be prepared to bring everything they got, because it;s Showtime!
It was announced that, due to popular demand by TNA fans, as well as the three wrestlers concerned, that in the triple threat championship match up next, the six sides of steel cage would be taken down, making this a normal triple threat match. Jim Cornette said that this would allow more freedom, and that in the end, the amount of emails he received from fans asking for a normal match was to ogreat to ignore, so a Lockdown tradition would be broken!
TNA World Heavyweight Championship The War to End All Wars! Kurt Angle vs Samoa Joe vs AJ Styles To begin this contest, the three wrestlers got in a triangle, nobody really wanting to lock up first, and the crowd was so hot for this match that it was unbelievable. Definitely the best and biggest, most intense atmosphere for a TNA main event in the companies history.
