Good opening, although I would have liked Cage to attempt to fight back, but to no avail. The Jeff Jarrett & Monty Brown vs Kurt Angle & Scott Steiner was great. Glad Angle/Steiner went over. Sabin/Starr was a good match, even if they didn't have too much time. Overall a great iMPACT and I look forward to the debut of Gibson.

Another good edition of Impact, good see you wont be teaming Cage with Tomko, give Tomko and Bernard a push. I like the idea of Starr/ Sabin/ Shelley 2, as well as them facing off on the next few shows. I dont like the idea of the World title being defended on Impact, but since it furthered the fued I can get over it.

November 30, 2006 Christian Cage Gets Revenge Christian Cage vs Bernard was hardly a match at all, Bernard hit a couple early moves, and Cage kicked him in the nuts, getting DQed. Afterwards, Cage grabbed a pair of chairs, and after landing a chair shot, set up Bernard for a con chair toe, but Tomko came running into the ring to make the save, but Cage was waiting for that, and he hit Tomko in the head with a chair shot. He then put Tomko face down on the same chair Bernard was on, and hit a double con chair toe. Cage left the ring, smirking to himself.
Chef Death (UWF) vs Abyss Surprisingly more than a squash match, Death matches strength with Abyss, and battled hard in the early going, but ultimately, a rookie mistake cost Death a lifetime chance for this huge win, when He failed to capitalize on a clothesline, Abyss got a chokeslam in for the win. Winner: Abyss
After the match, LAX, Sandman ,and Raven started making their way to the ring, but all three members of Team 3D, including Brother Runt, attacked LAX from behind, and Abyss came up the ramp and took out Sandman, while Raven fled through the crowd. After the chaos ended, James Mitchell walked onto the stage from where Team 3D came in from, and began to speak. James Mitchell: So Raven, I decided to use the philosophy of fighting fire with fire. You brought in Sandman last month, and now, I've decided to enlist the help of some old ECW guys, Team 3D! Considering they still want a piece of the tag champs, and you're working with the tag champs, they were happy to help out! And since Turing Point is in the Hammerstein Ballroom, I think it is the perfect time for the spirit of ECW to live on! I just got it confirmed from Jim Cornette, at Turning Point, it is an 8 Man New York Street fight! Team 3D and Abyss against Raven, Sandman, and the LAX!
Chris Sabin vs Alex Shelley A good contest, though not as good as Starr/Sabin from last week, and it had more time. These two have tagged together before, so they know each other well, the match started off with neither being able to hit a move, with the opponent reversing constantly. Finally, Sabin opened up the action hitting a dropkick off a springboard, but Shelley would fight back. Ultimately, though, Sabin got some momentum after the loss last week, countering sliced bread into a cradle shock for the win. Winner: Chris Sabin
Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles were just hanging out backstage talking, when Jim Cornette walked up to them. He said it was too bad they were done as a tag team, but now it was time for business. Cornette announced that at Turning Point, there would be a fifteen man battle royal, for people not involved with the card. Whoever won would receive a title shot of their choice whenever they wanted it. Cornette said both of them were in it, and wished them luck.
Kurt Angle & Scott Steiner vs Jerrelle Clark & Colin Cleane Some younger talent were in town, and faced off with Angle and Steiner, but they had no chance. Clark actually tried to hit a 630 on Angle, who easily moved, and then locked in an ankle lock, forcing the submission. Winners: Angle & Steiner
Kurt Angle grabbed a mic, and called Monty Brown and Jeff Jarrett to come out on the stage. They did, and Steiner challenged Brown to a match at Turning Point, which was accepted. Kurt angle then demanded a rematch at Turning Point against Jarrett, inside Six Sides of Steel! Jeff Jarrett said if he could beat Angle once, he could do it again, and accepted the challenge.
Brent Albright vs Bobby Roode Good quick match to debut Albright, and he almost managed to get the win here over the more established Roode, but Petey Williams tripped Albrights legs when he was near the rope, and Roode nailed a swinging neckbreaker, for the win. Winner: Bobby Roode
After the match, Williams and Roode started to beat down Albright, but James Gibson made the save, to the crowds delight. After that, Albright and Gibson challenged them to a match at Turning Point.
In this segment, Jim Cornette called Sting, Rhino and Samoa Joe to the ring, with a cease fire warning, saying if any of them did anything to another, they'd all be suspended indefinitely. Cornette said the only way to let this situation settle itself was to have all three of them fighting at once, and at Turning Point, it would be a triple threat match for the NWA World Title. Rhino then stole Cornette's mic, and claimed he was winning the gold in HIS arena, and then he walked off. Sting and Joe had a staredown to end the show.

Turning Point has an excellent card. Give Rhino the belt and I'll be happy. Gibson and Albright? WOOOOO. I'm also hoping Angle murders Jarrett. Good work.

turning point looks like a solid show.
the main event build has been handled very well. all three men have had their chance to llok dominant and it makes for an interesting title match.
the x-division title match has also been booked very well although 3 triple threat title matches on one card may be pushing things a tad.
i like the street fight idea, it masks any obvious flaws team 3d and sandman might have and it should be good, brutal stuff.
albright and gibson as a team means this ppv gets buys through the roof hehe.
looking forward to it immensely.

IMPACT was awesome, and Turning Point is really shaping up. The build up to the main event has been awesome, and the match should really be good. Alright and Gibson teaming should really be good, they should make an excellent team. The Street fight is a good idea, all six competitors should excel in that kind of match. The build to the event has been awesome so far, and I cant wait for the show.

Turning Point is looking great so far, some good match-ups there. The Triple Threat world title match should be great. Albright was made to look pretty weak in his debut match-up which I don't like. Angle/Jarrett is Six sides of steel should be good as well. Overall good stuff, keep it up.

As I've told you, these shows are great. Chef Death coming in was awesome as was MCMG colliding(looking foward to that X-Division match at Turning Point). Roode in the main event is awesome on so many levels. Turning Point will be awesome.

Impact Preview December 7, 2006
The last Impact before Turning Point sure to tie up any loose ends going into the show at the Hammerstein Ballroom, and It is sure to be Epic in it's own way. As noted before, Austin Starr will go head to head with Alex Shelley. Who will gain the final momentum going into the X-Division Title match at Turning Point?
Four of the eight men involved in the new york street fight will clash, as Team 3D take on Raven & Sandman! But LAX will be at ringside for Sandman and Raven, and Team 3D will be bringing Abyss and Runt with them. With everyone involved in the match out there at once, thingsould get started early!
Brent Albright, a new TNA talent, faces Kurt Angle on Impact, in a randomly assigned match by Jim Cornette. This is Albrights chance to prove he is for real, but can Angle afford to lose?
In the main event, Turning Point enemies unite to take on a common enemy, as Sting, Samoa Joe, and Christian Cage team up to face Rhino, Tomko and Bernard!

Impact looks good, Albright/ Angle should be an excellent match, although I can see Albright losing, which would hurt any hope of him becoming a star on TNA. The main event looks excellent, and really builds towards Turning Point.

December 7, 2006 Kurt Angle vs Brent Albright No kidding, this may have been the MATCH OF THE YEAR for TNA. It went a stunning 37:23, and both men looked very strong. The crowd didn't really get into Albright at first, not knowing much about him, but he started strong, hitting a vertical suplex on Angle. Albright made a cover, and Angle almost got surprised there, but he got the shoulder up. Angle quickly grabbed Albright's leg, and tripped him, going for the ankle lock, but Albright rolled out of it, and got to his feet to face Angle. The two began trading right hands, with Angle getting the better of the exchange. Angle irish-whipped Albright into the ropes, but Albright jumped on the rebound, nailing Angle with a flying clothesline. Albright quickly went to the shoulder of Angle, but before he could do anything, Angle got him with a takedown, and he scurried over to him, locking Albright in a laying down headlock. But Albright rolled the two of them over again, and now, Albright had the headlock on Angle. The two began using each other to stand up, and they remained locked up the entire time, and when they got to their feet, they both tried to get leverage in the lockup, with them finally both breaking it off at the same time, and going into opposite corners, to a cheering crowd. The two locked up again, and for a solid ten minutes, traded more mat wrestling back and forth, with neither man having an advantage for more than a few seconds. By the time they were at the 20 minute mark, they were both drenched with sweat, and the crowd was into the match so much. At first, everyone was rooting for Angle, as not many knew who Albright was, but as the match went on, Albright gained more support, eventually it became around 50/50, In the end stretch, Albright locked in a sharpshooter, and almost won, but Angle got to the ropes just in time. Albright went for a clothesline on Angle, but Angle ducked under it and nailed a german suplex. Angle kept his arms locked, and brought Albright back up, and nailed a second german. Again, Angle got up, but this time, Albright twisted back behind Angle and hit a german of his own. Albright followed up with a second german, but like Angle, couldn't pull off a third, as Angle slipped around behind Albright, and then nailed an Olympic slam. Angle made the cover, but Albright kicked out, and Angle looked like he was in shock. But Angle wasted no time, locking in an ankle lock. But Albright rolled forwards in a common ankle lock counter, but with a twist. Albright grabbed Angle's leg as he rolled, keeping Angle in the middle of the ring. Albright then locked in the crowbar, and after a long struggle, Angle managed to get to his feet, the armbar still locked in partially, but Angle twisted out of it and nailed another Olympic Slam, finally putting away Albright. Winner: Kurt Angle
After the match, both men, still drenched in sweat, got up and shook hands, to the delight of the crowd. Angle told Albright that he was a hell of a wrestle,r and that he's like to lock up with him again someday. Albright thanked him, and wished his luck in his match at Turning Point. The crowd continued their standing ovation as the two performers walked backstage together.
Sandman & Raven vs Team 3D This went on for less than five minutes before all eight men began brawling everyone, through different parts of the crowd, which kept them going after the last match, and finally they all ended up backstage. No Contest
Monty Brown and Jeff Jarrett were backstage. Brown asked Jarrett if he was worried about Angle, after witnessing that match at the start of the show. Jeff laughed it off, saying it shouldn't have taken Angle that long to put away a rookie. Brown said that sometimes Jarrett had a habit of biting off more than he can chew, and that this was most likely one of those times.
Austin Aries vs Alex Shelley Wow, This is honestly like the best Impact in history. This wasn't even as good as Starr/Sabin was, but still good enough for free TV that a lot of fans thought they were at a PPV taping. It was officially announced that Starr had changed his name back to Aries here, and he came out in his normal attire, leaving the flamboyant crap behind. They went back and forth for a while, Shelley picked up the win in ten minutes by avoiding a 450 splash and hitting a codebreaker(no idea what the move is called other than that). Winner: Alex Shelley
It was announced that Christian Cage, Tomko and Bernard have all been added to the Title Shot Battle Royal at Turning Point.
America's Most Wanted vs Lance Hoyt & Shark Boy At the start of the match, it was announced both members of AMW were also in the title shot battle royal. This match wasn't too great, Storm hit a superkick on Shark Boy for the win. Winner: AMW
Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles bump into each other backstage, and agree to work together in the title shot battle royal to get themselves as the final two.
Last Chance Battle Royal Qualifier Ron Killings vs Eric Young vs A1 Ron "The Truth" Killings made his return to Impact to a pretty damn good ovation, and the total entrances were about as long as the match was, as A1 used his power to throw Eric Young out of the ring, and walked into a spinning elbow from Killings. Killings then nailed an Axe Kick to get the pinfall. Killings more or less came, kicked ass, and left. Winner: Ron Killings
Samoa Joe, Sting & Christian Cage vs Bernard, Tomko & Rhino Because of how long impact was running, this was less than five minutes, because Christian Cage was fed to the dogs. Joe and Sting just made him start, and Tomko and Bernard got themselves DQed by double teaming him. Sting and Joe went for Rhino, who escaped from the ring area. Winners: Cage, Joe and Sting
After the match, Samoa Joe grabbed a steel chair, and went after Sting, but before he reached him, Sting raised his arms, and the arena went dark. A remixed version of Stings old WCW music started to play, and when the lights came back on, Sting was at the top of the crowd, posing, getting a huge reaction as Samoa Joe looked on.

Fan-f***ing- tastic iMPACT! I would love to see Aries/Shelley and Angle/Albright on regular TV, hell I'd pay to see those matches. Hoping Young would win the last chance battle royal, and win the belt. And I demand more Paparazzi Productions Segments!

ALBRIGHT/Angle should have main evented, especially considering how long it went. But I don't think ALBRIGHT could keep the heat/intensity going after even 15-20 minutes. Bernard better win the Title Shot battle royal, damn you.

Does TNA Have a Two hour timeslot here cause five matches would be way to much on a one hour timeslot. Still, the show was really good, Angle vs Albright really shouldn't of been the opening contest, would of went with Shelley/Aries insted which was also an awesome match in its own right. You did a whole f**king write up for the Kurt Angle vs Brent Albright match which was ing awesome, should of been closer to the main event spot but that is my only problem with the match, the post match hand shake was cool and I could see a who's better sort of feud begin between the two. Raven and Sandman vs Team 3D was a nice littlet match but it was really short as you said, when you said an eight man brawl, who were the other four men? I am presuming Abyss/Runt and Hernandez/Homicide but you didn't mention it. Lance Hoyt and Shark Boy is just a meh team in my mind, they should be both small guys and Hoyt isn't all that small. Still, obvious that AMW was going to get the win and they did. Would mark out if Chris Harris won the battle royal but I don't expect it. Ron Killings getting the win on his return is pretty cool, I can even see him winning the Battle Royal but it is sort of unlikely considering who else is in it. Also nice to see Eric Young get in the match since he wasn't pinned. Ah, in the main event you made a statement about how long the show was going so maybe it is a one hour timeslot, still, I would of just got rid of the AMW vs Sharkboy and Lance Hoyt match to make the main event a tad longer. It was still an alright match but the finish was bad, DQ by double teaming? If that happend, then all tag matches would end that way. Still, I would like to See Rhino win the belt at the Pay-Per-View. Reply to TNA-05?
