I was so happy to see Matt Hardy pull off the win, but I wish Finlay would have gone over Umaga. HBK should have gone over Orton but I'm still happy, because I like both of them, so it is a win/win situation.

ECW on Sci-fi Results 5th February 2008
The ECW opening package plays, followed by Joey Styles and Tazz welcome everybody to ECW on Sci-fi, and run down tonight’s card.
ECW Heavyweight Champion CM Punk kicked off the show, cutting a promo on the Road to WrestleMania tournament, and how he does not have a match at No Way Out. ECW general manager Armando Estrada came out, and revealed that the final of the Road to WrestleMania tournament will take place at No Way Out, and that CM Punk will be the special referee.
Road to WrestleMania Quarter Final Big Daddy V Defeated Kevin Thorn Not the best match on the card, Big Daddy V basically dominated the entire match, hitting the Ghetto Drop for the pinfall.
A video package plays featuring clips of the life and career of Owen Hart, ending with “It is with great honor to welcome Owen Hart to the Class of 2008”
John Morrison is getting ready backstage where the Miz walks up to him. The Miz wishes Morrison luck in their upcoming match, but tells him he won’t hold back. After Miz leaves Morrison says “Who needs luck?”
Road to WrestleMania Quarter Final John Morrison Defeated The Miz An entertaining match, although the crowd were not keen on an all heel match. Morrison and Miz have some excellent chemistry in the ring, and really put on an excellent performance. The Miz almost got the win after hitting the Reality Check, but Morrison kicked out, and hit the Corkscrew Neckbreaker for the three count.
A video package plays, hyping the career of The Big Show, and that he will return NEXT!
The Big Show Defeated Tommy Dreamer A dominating performance from The Big Show in his return to the WWE, and the crowd really popped for his return. Show looks a lot better, and has lost a lot of weight. Dreamer never really stood a chance, but got in his fair share of offence, but the Chokeslam was all it took to give Show the victory in his return.
After the match The Big Show continues his assault on Tommy Dreamer, hitting him with two more Chokeslams, before celebrating as ECW comes to an end.

Nice to see Morrison advance. unfortunately that trash Big Daddy V has to advance as well. Show winning was expected, good match too. CM Punk as Special Guest Referee for the Road to Wrestlemania Final was a good idea. I like that a lot. ECW was great.

SmackDown Results 8th February 2008
The SmackDown opening package plays, followed by Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman welcome everybody to Friday Night SmackDown, and run down tonight’s card.
Rey Mysterio kicks off the show, and gets a load of heat from the crowd, who are really buying into his heel role. Mysterio cuts a promo on his match against Batista later tonight, and that there is no way he will let Batista get another World Title match.
Elimination Chamber Qualifier Shawn Michaels Defeated D’Lo Brown A good opening match, Michaels and D’Lo put on good performances, and their styles really went well together. Michaels put everything he had into this match, but he just could not put D’Lo away. D’Lo went for the Lo Down but Michaels dodged it, and hit the Sweet Chin Music for the pinfall victory.
Chris Jericho is backstage with SmackDown interviewer Max Bretos. Jericho cuts a promo on last week’s highlight reel, and how he taught Edge not to mess with him. Jericho then talks about John Bradshaw Layfield coming to SmackDown to call him out, and told him to bring it on.
Chavo Guerrero & Jamie Noble Defeated Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore This was an excellent cruiserweight match, and shows that the Cruiserweight division is back in style. Cruiserweight champion Chavo Guerrero put on the star performance, and he has chemistry with just about every Cruiserweight on the roster. Noble hit Yang with the Slingblade, followed by Chavo hitting the Frog Splash for the victory.
A video package plays of a man hitting high flying move after move. The words “Meet Matt Sydal, coming to SmackDown to blow you away” appear the end of the video.
Elimination Chamber Qualifier Kane Defeated Snitsky Not a lot to say about to say about this match, Kane dominated Snitsky, although Sntisky did control the opening parts of the match. Kane put Snitsky away after hitting him with three Chokeslams.
Edge is backstage with Vickie Guerrero, they do all the lovey dovey stuff, and Vickie promises Edge tonight will be perfect. Co-General Manager Theodore Long walks in, and tells Vickie he has something important to tell her outside. Edge and Vickie kiss, and after she leaves Edge spat on the floor, and said “What am I doing?”
Chris Jericho Defeated Kenny Dykstra An excellent match, Dykstra is really showing everybody that he can consistently put on great matches, and Jericho is incredible when ever he steps foot in the ring. These two fought it out in the best match of the night, and it could have gone either way. Jericho countered a superkick attempt, and locked in the Walls of Jericho for the submission victory.
Post match John Bradshaw Layfield makes his way out onto the ramp. JBL cuts a promo on how Jericho has cut and run from RAW because he knew he was no match for JBL and that at No Way Out he will prove that, by beating him in the ring 1,2,3. Jericho tells him to bring it on.
Winner Challenges Edge at No Way Out Batista V. Rey Mysterio went to a no Contest Not the best match of the night, but it achieved what it was intended for. Originally it looked like this would be a squash match, with Batista dominating Rey in the early parts of the match, but Rey resorted to dirty tactics, such as a low blow out of view from the referee, to get back in the match. The end came when Edge, armed with a Steel Chair interfered and laid out both men.
Post match as Edge stands tall with the World Heavyweight Championship Theodore Long and Vickie Guerrero walk out onto the ramp. Long announces to Edge that he is now the sole General Manager of SmackDown, and that at No Way Out, Edge will defend the title against both Batista and Rey Mysterio. As Edge walks up to Long he pushes Vickie out of the way, telling her she is useless to him now.

really liked smackdown.
i'm digging the chamber qualifying matches. giving them more meaning. i also mark for d'lo so i liked the opener.
tag match sounded awesome, and is exactly what the cruiser weight division so be now. that being a tag division.
cool sydal promo looking forward to his debut
enjoyed the build with vickie and edge which played well into the angle at the end of the show.
more good stuff with the rumble qualifiers. liked jericho/dykstra. jericho is just the kind of guy kenny should be working with imo and putting him in the ring with the likes of y2j is a good move. liked the continuation of the jericho/jbl feud post match. look forward to seeing where that goes.
the main event was done nicely, me smells a triple threat match hehe. like the way edge blew off vickie after the match, hoping piggly guerrero gets her revenge at no way out or possibly mania.
solid show, solid booking. i look forward to seeing where you take things.

The RAW opening package aired, followed by Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler running down tonight’s card.
The night kicked off with WWE Heavyweight champion Triple H making his way to the ring. Triple H cut a promo on No Way Out, and his match against Randy Orton. Orton’s music interrupted him, and he made his way to the ring. Orton got in Triple H’s face, and the two exchanged insults. RAW general manager interrupted the two, and announced that tonight the two will face off in tag action. Triple H & Umaga will take on Randy Orton & Carlito.
Maria & Mickie James Defeated Beth Pheonix & Melina A decent womens tag match to kick off the nights action. Pheonix dominated the match, but while she was brawling with Mickie outside the ring Maria rolled Melina up for the win.
Post match Maria announced that she will be posing for playboy this year.
Jeff Hardy & DH Smith were backstage. They talked about their upcoming tag match, and that when they win they will go to No Way Out and challenge for the World tag team titles.
Winner challenges for the World Tag Team titles at No Way Out Jeff Hardy & DH Smith Defeated Brian Kendrick & Paul London A great tag match. Smith may not be as experienced as Jeff, but the two make a great team, and they looked excellent against London & Kendrick. London went for a moonsault on Hardy, but Smith made the save, catching London as he came down, and blasting him with the Running Powerslam.
SmackDown star Chris Jericho cut a promo backstage on his No Way Out opponent John Bradshaw Layfield. Jericho promised that he will put his problems with JBL to rest on Sunday, and then he will move onto to win the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania.
John Bradshaw Layfield Defeated Super Crazy A completely dominant performance from JBL. Crazy never stood a chance, and Layfield hit him with the Clothesline from Hell for the win.
Ric Flair cut an in ring promo before his upcoming Elimination Chamber Qualifying match. Flair promised the fans that he will not let his career end tonight, and that he still has one more run left in him.
Elimination Chamber Qualifier – Career Threatening Match Ric Flair Defeated Mr. Kennedy An incredible match. Flair still has it and went all out against Kennedy here, and used every tactic in his arsenal to win the match. Kennedy looked impressive, and looked like a genuine threat to Flair’s career. Flair worked away at the legs of Kennedy throughout, and locked him in the figure four leglock for the submission victory.
A video played hyping John Cena. At the end it revealed he will be returning soon to RAW.
Triple H & Umaga V. Randy Orton & Carlito went to a No Contest A good way to end RAW, these four put on a decent tag match. These two teams did not get on, and Triple H and Umaga nearly came to blows a number of times. Orton nearly pinned Triple H after hitting the RKO, but only got a near fall. The referee ended up throwing the match out after it erupted into a brawl outside the ring. The show ended with security trying to separate Triple H and Randy Orton.

Big Show squashed Dreamer? He's a heel, then? I've always liked him better as a face. The team of Jeff and Smith reminds me of Holly and Rhodes. I don't really like the idea of the team, but prove me wrong and do something good with them.

Every match was great but one thing i didn't like was it feels too much EWR based. Inlcude more detail and its fine. Other than that I like the shows. Keep it up!

ECW on Sci-fi Results 12th February 2008
The show kicked off with the ECW opening package, followed by Joey Styles and Tazz running down tonight’s card, including both Road to WrestleMania tournament semi final.
The night kicked off with CM Punk making his way to the ring. Punk cut a promo on the road to WrestleMania tournament, promising that at No Way Out he will call it right down the middle no matter whatm and that tonight, he will be at ringside for both Semi final matches.
ECW Road to WrestleMania Semi Final Shelton Benjamin Defeated Big Daddy V A decent match, although Big Daddy V is horrible in the ring, and nothing that Benjamin did could have carried him to a decent match. V used his strength and size to control the early parts of the match, but Benjamin’s unpredictable style kept V on his toes. Benjamin picked up the win after dodging Big Daddy V as he charged at Benjamin in the corned, and rolled up a dazed Big Daddy V for the win.
After the match Benjamin quickly left the ring and got in the face of Punk, who just laughed him off.
The Big Show cut a promo backstage, hyping his return and how he destroyed Tommy Dreamer last week. Show promised that the destruction is not over, and that he has his sights set on a match at WrestleMania.
ECW Road to WrestleMania Semi Final Elijah Burke Defeated John Morrison An excellent match, these two went all out to impress the fans, and they did just that. Burke and Morrison went all out, with the match going back and forth between the two. Morrison went for the Corkscrew Neckbreaker, but Burke reversed it into the Elijah Experience for the win.
A video package played hyping No Way Out which is only 5 days away. Joey Styles and Tazz then ran down the card.
Val Venis cut a promo backstage. Venis hyped up the fact that he is now an ECW extremist (which got a good pop). Venis announced that he was sick of not being taken seriously, and that from now on, he was out for himself, and that he will be going by the name “Sean Morley”.
CM Punk Defeated The Miz Not a lot to say, Punk controlled the match, while Benjamin and Burke watched from different parts of the arena. The Miz got in some offence, but Punk quickly hit the GTS for the victory.

Reading from RAW....
Hardy and Smith is an interesting team, but seems thrown together because they have nothing else to do, imo.
Kennedy not qualifying, sucks major ass.
Main Event looked pretty good and was a good read.

SmackDown Results 15th February 2008
The SmackDown opening package played, followed by Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman running down tonight’s card, and showing clips from Theodore Long taking back control, and Edge’s reaction.
World Heavyweight Champion Edge kicked off the show, cutting a promo on what happened last week. Edge hyped his World Heavyweight Championship defense this Sunday, before being interrupted by ex general manager Vickie Guerrero. Vickie pleads with Edge to take her back, but Edge told her that without power, she is nothing to him, before shocking everyone when he laid her out with a brutal DDT. Edge looked ready to hit the spear, but Chavo Guerrero shockingly made the save. Medics then helped Vickie out of the ring on a stretcher.
Cruiserweight Championship Chavo Guerrero Defeated Jamie Noble Guerrero seemed distracted by what happened before the match, but still managed to hold his own in this match. Noble looked impressive, and the crowd were backing him throughout. Chavo showed a vicious streak as the match went on, screaming that “Nobody hurts a Guerrero Edge”, and finished Noble off with a frog splash.
As Vickie Guerrero is wheeled out of the arena on a stretcher they pass Rey Mysterio, who just grins and says “Tried to warn you” before walking off.
Batista was backstage with interviewer Max Bretos. Batista cut a promo on his match at No Way Out, and that later tonight he has a match with both members of the Edgeheads, and that after that, he is coming straight for Edge and Rey Mysterio.
D’ Lo Brown Defeated Kenny Dykstra A great match, the crowd love D’Lo, and Dykstra has loads of in ring talent just waiting to be utilized. Brown took control early on, but Dykstra used quick moves to get back into the match. Dykstra attempted a top rope attack, but was blasted with a dropkick on the way down. D’Lo followed up with the sky high for the win.
A hype video aired for No Way Out, focusing on the Elimination Chamber and the World Heavyweight championship match.
Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore Defeated Deuce & Domino A good tag team match, Yang and Moore are a great team, and showed off some excellent and innovative tag team maneuvers. Deuce & Domino tried to keep Yang & Moore grounded with their roughneck style, but Moore ended up getting the win after rolling Deuce up.
Post match Shannon Moore grabbed a microphone and laid down a challenge for the WWE tag team titles next week on SmackDown.
A video package plays of a man hitting high flying move after move. The words “Meet Matt Sydal, coming to SmackDown to blow you away” appear the end of the video.
Batista Defeated The Edgeheads A complete squash match. Hawkins and Ryder never stood a chance. Batista dominated, putting Hawkins away after a spinebuster.
Post match Rey Mysterio attempted to jump Mysterio from behind, but Batista sent him over the top rope. The two shared a stare down as Edge watched from a monitor backstage.
Ric Flair cut a promo in the ring prior to the main event. He cut a promo talking about the Elimination Chamber, and that if he does not win the Elimination Chamber, then it is the end for Flair, and that if it is, he will go out with a bang.
With the ring full with the wrestlers involved in the upcoming main event the lights went out and a video package featuring The Undertaker played. Taker promised Umaga that he is coming for him, and to watch his back or he will Rest… In… Peace. Umaga was visibly freaked out as the main event kicked off.
Elimination Chamber Preview Ric Flair, Kane & Shawn Michaels Defeated Matt Hardy, Umaga & Carlito An excellent main event as we head into No Way Out. Umaga was on the rampage here following the video package, and took out all his frustration early on in the match as he brawled with Kane. Matt Hardy and Carlito nearly came to blows a number of times, while Flair and Michaels put on a great performance as a team. Kane and Umaga ended up taking each other out of the match as they brawled around the arena. There was a double finish as Flair locked in the figure four leglock on Carlito and Michaels blasted Hardy with the Sweet Chin Music for the win.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter
A promo played for the return of John Cena this past week on RAW. Current plans are for Cena to feature at WrestleMania as a special referee for a match, possibly the WWE Championship match.
Bobby Lashley went in for surgery this week to repair a severed nerve in his leg. Lashley will at least be out for six months, and it is likely that he will not be able to work a full time schedule for the first month or two after he returns.
Val Venis is now going by the name Sean Morley. His heel turn on ECW was reacted to really well by both backstage staff and fans. Morley may be pushed over the coming weeks, and may get a main event run around Summerslam time.
Don’t expect to see Vickie Guerrero any time soon. A decision was made to remove her from TV. Vickie agreed to the decision, so SmackDown was her final appearance for the time being.

Everybody is making Kenny job. Ric Flair in Elimination Chamber. Matt Hardy as a heel is cool. I hope Kane wins EC. The NWO card looks awesome as well. Maybe a little more detail will make it much better. FINLAY BETTER NOT WIN THE U.S Title. Overall great show! Can't wait to read NWO. Drop a reply to WWE: 2k8, please?

The Elimination Chamber looks odd, but to be honest I'd probably watch it. Why put Flair in though? It completely ruins the feel of the match. I guess you're going for Trips/Flair at WrestleMania? The Tag Team Title match looks horrid and is pretty much wasting Jeff Hardy, who should be Main Eventing. Other then that, I like this alot, just some decisions confuse me.
