I am interested intensely on Abyss coming to the WWE. But I hope you don't make him like 'Captain Insano' like in TNA, knowing WWE they'd ruin his gimmick too. I hope that Hardcore Holly is on his way out of the WWE, to be honest. I hope that Dusty Rhodes manages Trevor Murdoch since Murdoch is using Dusty's gimmick. Dusty could be Trevor's mentor. I hope Murdoch gets a big push too. Onto ECW. The card seems pretty good and usually realistic for this era of time. Interesting that you're giving Mike Kruel a push on this brand. I assume that Kruel is playing the fan-favourite in this? Kofi Kingston losing is a big shock, however. I'm intrigued by your pushing of Scott Cabana. Him beating Miz is very shocking also, good that you're pushing the right guys. I hope Cabana is involved in a tag team feud with somebody against Miz and Morrison in the near future. This New Ministry alliance is very interesting and developing nicely, also. Great main event, I anticipated a good match and what a suprise, it was. I'm unsure about Cabana becoming a huge hit in the merchandising sales despite only being around for a week. Good that Ashley got released. Chuck Taylor in WWE is interesting. Please don't bring him up for a while, though please. Good job.

First of all, Abyss coming to the WWE is cool. I thought he was going to come in 2005 when his contract was up but never did. I'm curious to see how you use him. I love the fact that you're using Mike Kruel on ECW as I like him and hope to see him make it one day. Good call on the Scott Cabana name. GOod main event, although I didn't like the outcome. I can't wait to see more of Raw or SD as it looks like you're going to continue this diary. Please drop a reply to my ECW 2007 when you get a chance.

WWE Cyber Sunday may no longer be part of the WWE Pay Per View Calendar, but that doesn’t mean that fan interaction is over, but the opposite, as fan interaction is taken to a whole new level. WWE are giving you the chance to vote on matches on a regular schedule with its new WWE Fan Nation, and to kick things off, you get two chances to make your voice heard. At WWE Backlash Edge challenges World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho, but with recent developments these two will not be able to settle their differences in a regular match, so you get to decide which type of match they will compete in – Last Man Standing, a Steel Cage match or a Ladder Match Chris Jericho vs. Edge - Pick the MatchAlso, this Monday on Monday night RAW Elijah Burke will defend the Intercontinental Championship against your choice – Jeff Hardy, DH Smith or Trevor Murdoch. Elijah Burke - Pick the ChallengerSo get voting, and make your mark.

11th April 2008The SmackDown opening video aired, followed by Michael Cole and Max Bretos running over tonights show, before playing footage of Edge’s disgusting attack on Chris Jericho’s father last week. The man himself, Edge, made his way out to the ring to an incredible amount of heat, probably the most I’ve heard at a WWE show in god knows how long. Edge showed the footage once again and talked about how he has finally found something he lost – his ruthless drive to win. Edge then promised to once again become the World Heavyweight Champion at Backlash, before being interrupted by SmackDown’s GM Shane McMahon, who announced that if Edge wants someone to fight, he will get somebody tonight – the Big Show! The announcement got a pretty big pop from the crowd, but Edge didn’t look happy. Big Daddy V Def. FunakiThis match didn’t last long, and was basically just Big Daddy V throwing Funaki, eventually squashing him with the Ghetto Drop. Big Daddy V looked impressive here. A video package aired, showing a man sitting in a Hollywood director’s chair. He tells people that “there can only be one Hollywood Mercury, and he, is coming to SmackDown”. Terry Ray Gordy Def. Chavo GuerreroFrom the looks of this match, Gordy is going to be a pretty big part of the cruiserweight division. Both men went at it with some fast paced moves, and for most of the match Chavo looked more likely to get the win, but Gordy connected with a big knee drop, and followed up with the Tiger Suplex for the win. SmackDown cut to the WWE Tag Team Champions Matt Sydal and Kazarian hanging out with a blonde woman backstage. Sydal referred to her as Lizzy Valentine. Kazarian asked what happened to Ashley, to which Sydal answered “Who?”, which is what everybody will be saying this time next year. Kenny Dykstra Def. D’Lo BrownThe revival of Dykstra’s career continued here tonight following a win over Batista last week. Dykstra worked over the shoulder of D’Lo, and quickly took control, although D’Lo got some decent offence in later in the match. The match was given a decent amount of time, and D’Lo was moments away from getting the win when he went to the top rope, but a distraction by Mike Mondo allowed Dykstra to throw D’Lo off the top rope, followed by the Guillotine Leg Drop for the win. Post match Mike Mondo and Kenny Dykstra raised each others arms, apparently signaling an alliance between the two former Spirit Squad members. A live video aired of Chris Jericho in his own home. Jericho said that he is sorry he couldn’t be there, but he was at home looking after his father following Edge’s attack last week. Jericho talked about how Edge made things personal, that Edge started this war, but Jericho promised to end it – and end Edge’s career – when he returns to SmackDown. Rey Mysterio, Deuce & Domino Def. Batista, Matt Sydal & KazarianA solid six man tag team match, and it was really evident that they were trying to tell a story in the ring. Batista seemed determined to get his hands on Mysterio, who did all he could to keep out of the ring with Batista throughout the match. There was some tension between the tag team champions as well as Sydal spent a lot of his time flirting with Lizzy Valentine at ringside, which led to an argument between the pair. This allowed Deuce & Domino the chance to double team Batista, and Mysterio got the pinfall following a top rope moonsault. Montel Vontavious Porter made his way to the ring, Money in the Bank briefcase in hand. MVP talked about how Finlay has disgraced the United States championship, and challenged him to one final match between the two for the title at Backlash, but since Finlay can’t beat him, he would fight on Finlay’s terms – in a Belfast Brawl match. MVP told Finlay to think about it, and get back to him next week. Edge Def. Big ShowEdge wasn’t kidding when he claimed that Jericho awaked a new ruthlessness in him, as Edge showed it here, systematically picking Big Show apart with vicious tactics. Big Show fought back, and controlled numerous parts of the match, but Edge didn’t seem daunted by Show’s obvious height advantage, and following a ref bump that seemed carefully orchestrated by Edge, Edge grabbed a steel chair from ringside and just destroyed Big Show, leaving him bloodied. Edge connected with a spear on Show, and got the pinfall for the win. As SmackDown went off the air Edge put a foot on the stomach of Big Show, who was covered in blood, and motioned that he is coming for the World Heavyweight championship.

WWE News: Christian Cage returning to WWE?, JBL unhappy, Tag Team Champions splitting, More…- There has been some talks about Christian Cage returning to WWE. Cage’s TNA contact expires at the end of the month, and he has shown no interest in signing an exclusive contract with them. Christian has reportedly been in talks with Vince McMahon about returning as soon as next month, possibly on the RAW brand. - John Bradshaw Layfield is apparently very unhappy with his current position within the WWE, and some people don’t expect him to stick around as an in ring competitor much longer. Layfield’s WWE contract doesn’t run out for a further two years, but he has talked about taking on a much lighter schedule. - Backstage plans are for Matt Sydal and Kazarian to drop the WWE Tag Team titles in the coming weeks, possibly to the new team of Kenny Dykstra and Mike Mondo. It looks like Matt Sydal will be turning heel, and both will receive single pushes. - It was announced just after SmackDown on WWE.COM that Batista will be facing Rey Mysterio at Backlash. - In great news for the WWE, this weeks SmackDown got the highest rating of the year, with Edge vs. The Big Show being the highest rated segment of the night. - In quick Florida Championship Wrestling results from this past week: Ted Dibiase Jr. Def. Homicide following interference by Vladimir Kozlov Kevin Steen Def. Kafu Sinn Def. Eddie Colon Deuce & Domino Def. Johnny Jeter & Nick Nemeth Jake Hager Def. Paul Burchill to retain the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship

The latest edition of Smack Down was pretty good. Your diaries are great, and I love to read them. The opening segment was pretty good. Glad Edge made his return, and against Big Show of all people in the main event. The opening match was decent. Like expected when I first read the match, I knew it was going to be a squash. However, I would've liked to see Funaki pull a upset. The Gordy/Guerrero match was awesome, man. I'm liking Jesse, or Terry Ray Gordy's, new gimmick. Also, I love the new Cruiserweight division. Keep it up. Glad Gordy picked up the win. I would love to see a feud between him and Chavo. The Dykstra/Brown match was ok. However, I cannot stand Kenny at all. I don't see anything in him, so I'm dissapointed that he pick up the win. The Six-Man tag team match was solid. Hmm, I'm interested to see where the Mysterio/Batista feud goes, and I lol'd at Valentine and Sydal flirting. Great stuff. Could have gone either way, I'm just glad Batista didn't win. I hate him. The main event was the match of the night, in my eyes. Edge beat the hell of Show, and I see Edge getting a huge push. This makes Edge entertaining, finally. Please put the title on Edge, please. Great show, imo, continue your hard work.
