So glad that this is back man. Strong/ Quack sounded like an incredible match, good to see Strong go over. I was hoping Jacobs would go over, but the match sounded great none the less. Nice to see the Briscoes retain the gold, and Aries/ KENTA sounded like an incredible match. Morishima winning the world title is pretty cool, and I really hope we get some cool matches out of his reign.

This reply is pretty much going to be based off of the last show. I'll eventually go back and read over the entire thing, but I wanted to give you a reply to your latest show since you did the same for me.
I always liked it better when indy sim's would have typed out promo's, but hey it's all good. The show as a whole was good. Not really happy to see Morishima grabbing the gold, would have prefered a Hero push but I'm sure his time will come. Keep it up, man.
Thanks for the reply to CZW, btw, really appreciate it.

The show was well typed, you are seriously the only person to have a ROH diary I have enjoyed reading. Surprised to see Morishima take the gold for a second time but it was a nice surprise, I did enjoy the title being on Davey Richards though. Meh to the Briscoe brothers retaining the titles, would of prefered the other two blokes. Austin Aries vs KENTA sounded like a fantastic match though, one to see live anyway.

REally glad to see Black and Albright take it, as I'm an Albright mark. Quack/Strong was great. Glad Strong won as I am not very familiar with Quack, but that end stretch was great, how Strong took so much punishment, and had to dish out so much to win, I would have loved to see that as an actual match. Marufuji winning was good, sounded like a fast paced match. Briscoes vs Stevens/Cross sounded awesome, good good spots, and I'm glad Stevens and Cross looked strong there, it adds to them a lot. Generico, Nigel, and Aries all winning was how I'd be cheering, so I'm happy that happened. 6 Man match sounded fun, and Aries/Kenta sounded great also. I'm not a fan of Morishima, and I wanted the reign of Richards to continue, but oh well. I just hope Morishima has a short reign. Aries/Shima would be sick for the title.
Great show Daz, showed why this diary owns

ROH NewswireMay 26h: New ROH World Champion Takeshi Morishima has extended his stay in ROH throughout the summer and possibly even longer. Morishima has vowed to remain in regular competition in ROH until he loses the title belt. With his track record in ROH, it’s conceivable we could be seeing Morishima for a long time to come. May 26h: ROH’s world tour begins! First Ring of Honor will head to Toronto Canada for a Double shot weekend in June. Before jetting off to Japan in the month of October. Ring of Honor has made a name for itself all over the world and now we bring the great talent in the ROH locker room to a worldwide stage. May 26h: Already booked for ROH’s huge Canadian debut is a World Tag Team Title Match pitting challengers El Generico & Kevin Steen against champions The Briscoe’s. Steen and Generico have been in the hunt for the Tag Titles for months now and finally they get their shot against the best tag team in the world. Steen has vowed to do his countrymen proud and bring the Titles home to Team Steenerico. Ring of Honor ROH: Revolution; Beginning May 31st, 2008 - 7:30 pm belltime Frontier Fieldhouse 9807 Sayre Ave. Chicago Ridge, IL 60415
Tickets are available at www.rohwrestling.com or www.Tickets.com as well as calling 215-781-2500.Current Line up: ROH World Title Match: Takeshi Morishima © vs. Nigel McGuinness ROH World Tag Team Title Match: The Briscoe’s © vs. King’s of Wrestling Four Corner Survival: Featuring Jimmy Rave, Bryan Danielson, Go Shiozaki & Naomichi Marufuji Street Fight: Kevin Steen vs. Eddie Kingston Tyler Black vs. El Generico Roderick Strong vs. Matt Cross Also Signed to Appear: Davey Richards, Austin Aries, Delirious & Gran Akuma! May 26th: Nigel McGuinness defeated three other men to earn his shot at the title, and he will get it on May 31st as he faces new champion Takeshi Morishima. Morishima has been a dominant force in ROH since joining the roster and when these two Pro-Wrestling NOAH competitors collide the ROH World Champion will be looking to continue his winning ways. May 26th: In a Four Corner Survival match Jimmy Rave, Bryan Danielson, Go Shiozaki and Naomichi Marufuji will square off, in a match that could go a long way in deciding who receives a shot at the title belt. The World title picture has been so strong these past six months it’s been nearly impossible to pick a challenger each and every show. These Four Corner Survival matches have become a regular occurrence and with the pack so strong each and every time it’s becoming almost impossible to predict a winner. May 26th: The King’s of Wrestling have taken advantage of the Briscoe’s open challenge and will compete for the ROH World Tag Team Championships in Chicago Ridge Illinois. Claudio and Hero haven’t held the belts since 2006 and are desperate to get their hands on them, on the other hand Jay and Mark, the Briscoe Brother’s are on a quest to prove they are the greatest tag team in the world today and have vowed to break Austin Aries and Roderick Strong’s record setting reign. May 26th: Kevin Steen and Eddie Kingston will continue the feud between their respected Tag Teams as they meet in a Street Fight. Steenerico and The BLKOUT have been at each other’s throats for a number of months with neither team gaining a clear advantage over the other. On May 31st Kevin Steen and Eddie Kingston will have the chance to do just that. May 26th: Also Roderick Strong will take on Matt Cross. Last year Matt Cross defeated Strong as he tried to prove his worth to ROH officials, after a fantastic display against Jay and Mark Briscoe, Matt Cross has certainly done just that, And now in a rematch a year in the making Strong will have a chance to equal the score. May 26th: And finally Tyler Black goes head to head with El Generico. These two men represent their respective tag teams, and this match could go a long way in deciding just who receives the next shot at The Briscoe Brother’s ROH World Tag Team Championships.

I'm praying that the KOW grab the tag title belts back, that'd be $$. Steen/Kingston should be fun a match, such a clash of styles but hopefully it turns out for the best. I'm looking forward to Tyler/Generico the most. Tyler is a great talent and Generico is just amazing, so it should be fun.

ROH: Revolution (May 31st; Chicago Ridge, IL)-Takeshi Morishima came to the ring honouring an ROH tradition. He held the belt a loft and cut a promo in Japanese. Davey Richards interrupted and congratulated Morishima on his victory. Richards claimed thus far he’s had the most success against Morishima in singles competition and it’ll only be a matter of time before he is the ROH World Champion again. Austin Aries interrupted and said after beating KENTA last show he’s in line for a shot. Richards challenged Aries to a match tonight and Aries immediately accepted.Delirious def. Gran AkumaGran Akuma returned to Ring of Honor action with an impressive performance against the former World Champion. Akuma managed to connect with several signature manoeuvres including the Yoshi-Tonic but Delirious was able to kick out. Eventually Gran Akuma would go up top for the 450 Splash but Delirious put a stop to it. He would hit the Panic Attack and later the Chemical Imbalance II for the victory. ROH World Tag Team Title Match: The Briscoe’s © def. King’s of WrestlingClaudio and Hero received another shot at the tag titles here, but the Briscoe’s have been on an unstoppable run since returning to ROH after their Tour of Pro-Wrestling NOAH earlier this year. Jay and Mark would not be stopped here as they powered through K.O.W’s best offense before connecting with a duel Leg Drop and Shooting Star Press for the victory. Roderick Strong def. Matt CrossCross gave Strong a challenge greater than even Roderick expected. Much like Passion of Gold Cross refused to give in and managed to survive Strong’s onslaught of backbreakers and powerful strikes before making the comeback. He used his speed and high flying ability to beat Strong to the proverbial punch, or chop as the case may be. Cross eventually looked to put Roderick away with the Corkscrew Split Legged Moonsault, but Strong got the knees up. Moments later Strong nailed the Gibson Driver before forcing Cross to tap out to the Strong Hold. -After the match Strong attacked Cross with a steel chair, Erick Stevens rushed out to make the save and after a moments brawling Strong took the advantage levelling Stevens with a steel char. Strong would set up a guard rail and look to Gibson Driver Matt Cross onto it. Mike Quackenbush made the save, but before he could gain a measure of revenge on Strong, Roderick was able to flee the ringside area and the building. Four Corner Survival: Go Shiozaki def. Jimmy Rave, Bryan Danielson & Naomichi MarufujiStar studded Four Corner Survival match that definitely lived up to the hype. The fans had been criticising this match before it had begun due to the over use of them since the year’s start, but this went a long way ion silencing them. Danielson and Rave had a lot of interaction playing off their history together, Rave at one point looked to have Danielson in trouble as he set him up for the form formerly known as Ghanarhea but Danielson countered and managed to lock in the Cattle Mutilation. It would not last long as Shiozaki broke it up. Shiozaki would suffer a Superkick from Marufuji for his troubles, however Go showed his fighting Spirit and responded in kind. He followed up with a German Suplex Hold for a two count. Marufuji would later recover and nailed Rave with a picture perfect Shiranui, before he could capitalize on it Danielson nailed him with a Roaring Elbow. It would not end there though as Danielson would be attacked by Shiozaki who hit a German Suplex followed by the Go Flasher for the victory. -After the match Danielson, Marufuji and Shiozaki shook hands, as Rave left the ring in fury. Go celebrated his victory as the fans chanted his name.--Intermission---During intermission Jimmy Bower tried to get a word with Jimmy Rave, Rave demanded Bower get the camera out of his face. Bower withdrew as Rave threw things around the locker room. With the camera pointing the other way, Rave asked someone “What do you want?” there was no response. Instead another loud crash was heard. Bower and his cameraman rushed into the locker room and found Rave lying on the floor.--End Intermission--Tyler Black def. El GenericoBlack and Generico had a fast paced spot-filled match here. Black controlled the early going but Generico soon made the comeback. The pair would both attempt their finishes throughout the match to no avail. Generico eventually nailed the Brainbuster but Tyler was able to kick out at two. Generico attempted to put Black again once more as he attempted the Split Legged Moonsault. Black got the knees up and followed up with a splash in the corner. Black had the moments on his side as he went for the small package driver but Generico span out of it and whipped Black to the corner. He followed up with the Yakuza kick before looking to finish things off with the Top Rope Brainbuster. Black shoved him to the mat and connected with the Phoenix Splash for three. -After the match Ruckus, Sabian, joker and Kingston jumped Generico. Generico held his own for a minute before the number’s game caught up to him. Kevin Steen charged to the ring; chairs in hand. He started swinging and took down all four members of the BLKOUT. He turned his attention to Kingston beginning their schedules match.Street Fight: Eddie Kingston def. Kevin SteenSteen dominated the early going as he completely and utterly physically dissected Kingston. He guided him all over the building, taking the fight to the crowd. Things eventually turned around for Kingston as he tossed Steen into several fans chairs. Kingston brought Steen back to the ring, and continued his assault with the chair. Eventually Kevin Steen made the comeback and bent Kingston in half as he connected with a backbreaker driving Kingston back first down across the top of the chair. Steen continued to work over the back throughout the match, and later locked in the Sharpshooter, bending the back of Kingston in unnatural ways. Kingston survived that and eventually connected with a lariat and spinning back fist for a close near fall. Eventually Steen re-gained the upper-hand and performed the spot of the match as he looked to hit Kingston with a Swanton Bomb off of a Ladder. Kingston moved and took advantage of the rare Steen mistake lifting him to his feet and connecting with a Roaring Elbow for the victory. Austin Aries def. Davey RichardsAries tried to ride the wave of momentum after beating KENTA on the previous show, Richards was looking to recover after losing the title to Takeshi Morishima. He was unusually aggressive and damn near caved Aries’ chest in with his vicious kicks. Richards worked over the arms for the most part as he softened Aries for the Kimura lock. Aries would not stay down and made the inevitable comeback. He would have the opportunity to take victory however as he lifted Davey for the Brainbuster his arm gave out. Richards took advantage and continued his assault on it. He was unable to put Aries away and in his frustration headed to the top rope looking for a Shooting Star Press. Aries was able to block it before finding his second wind. He would hit Richards with a Heat Seeking Missile before hitting a Brainbuster onto the guard rail. Aries was in full control until Richards avoided the 450, connected with a Tombstone and locked in the Kimura. He looked destined to win the match and a future shock at the ROH World Title, however Aries was somehow able to roll Davey onto his shoulders pinning him to the mat for three. -After the match Davey Richards cut a promo, he ripped into Aries, Nigel McGuinness, Delirious, KENTA, Naomichi Marufuji, and Bryan Danielson amongst a plethora of others. Richards claimed no one in ROH is on his level and he deserves to be treated better by ROH Management. Davey claimed he had to stay in Delirious’ shadow throughout 2007, he had to wait on the side lines until it was time for his shot at the title. Richards claimed he carried the company on his back for nearly six months and he gets no gratitude for it. Davey said tonight is the beginning of a revolution and ROH Officials and ROH fans alike better be prepared.ROH World Title Match: Takeshi Morishima © def. Nigel McGuinness Morishima and McGuinness are both regulars for Pro-Wrestling NOAH and have styles that really complement each other. Throughout the match they had several vicious strike exchanges, at one point Nigel threw everything he had at Morishima including slaps, right hands and Uppercuts, only to hit the ropes and rebound straight into a Takeshi Morishima Lariat. The new champion was able to beat McGuinness to the punch every time, as well as avoid any of McGuinness’ lariat attempts. Nigel had to take Morishima to the mat to make wear the big man down. It paid off as Nigel worked over the arms and applied his Arm Submission hold, named the London Dungeon. Morishima survived it and managed to get to his feet. He kicked Nigel away but McGuinness attempted to rebound with his trademark Rebound Lariat. As he wound up Morishima caught him and slammed him down to the mat with the Side Slam. Nigel kicked out of two as Morishima headed up top. Before he could hit his missile dropkick, Nigel quickly cut him off before connecting with the Tower of London. The match was really in McGuinness’ favour at this point and he came so close to victory after the Cobra Clutch Lariat but once again Morishima survived. The champion managed to find his footing and after reversing an irish whip that sent McGuinness to the corner, he charged and kicked Nigel in the skull as he performed his head stand evasion. Nigel fell back to the mat as Morishima hooked and delivered the Backdrop Driver. The devastating move was just enough to put McGuinness away for three.

Incredible show Daz, first half was really strong, with a great opening segment that showed where Aries and Richards mindsets are. Good opening matchup, good to see Delirious pick up a win. I don't usually cheer for the Briscoes, but I did here, as I'm not a fan of Hero and Claudio as a team, and I want Steenerico to take the titles. Strong/Cross was great, you absolutely made both men look incredibly good. Cross looked good by going for so long, and Strong looked good from the win, and by fighting off Stevens post match. 4CS was good, just wasn't a fan of the winner.
Damn, I was hoping Generico would win, but I guess Black was due for a victory. Steen loses too!? Damn, I hope that team redeems themselves soon now. Awesome street fight though. Richards/Aries was good, lad Aries had to kind of sneak out that win there, it allows you to progress with him, but didn't make Richards look like a bitch. Nice Richards promo afterwards. Good finish to the main event, I'm not a Nigel fan, so I'm glad Morishima won.

Daz, this is easily the greatest ROH diary in the history of the board. If it's not in the HOF, it should be. The opening segment was really interesting, and Davey vs. Aries should be awesome. Nice to see Strong get a win, and the aftermath was cool. Quack/Strong? The four corner survival sounded good, although I'm not familiar with Go Shiozaki, but I'm familiar with the rest of the others. Aries getting the win was awesome, and the way he got the win was cool. Morishima/McGuinness would be off the charts, imo. Didn't expect Morishima to lose the belt so early, so I kind of expected him to retain, and he did.

Another great show Daz. I was really pulling for the KOW to win the tag team titles, so I really hope that they get another shot at the titles soon. I Good to see Strong getting the win, and the aftermath of the match was cool. The Rave segment was cool, and I look forward to seeing who took out Rave. Good to see Black getting the win, and the Street Fight sounded superb. The Richards promo was interesting, and I cant wait to see this 'revolution'. Mori/ McGuiness sounded brutal, and I'm really hoping we see them go at it one more time.

Revolution, May 31st 2008...I liked the opening interview with Morishima speaking in Japanese. Good opener, I myself am a Delirious fan. Good tag bout, wish the Briscoes dropped the silverware to Kings of Wrestling though. Decent bout with Roderick and the other dude who I've yet to hear about. Loved the four way survival personally. Decent bout with Generico losing to Black, unfortunately. Good street fight. Loved Aries beating Davey Richards. Richards for ROH World Champion. And a fantastic main event. Good show.

Hey Daz, I love how this is going so far, I am a huge ROH fan, and am happy with how you are simming them. No problems anywhere that I can see, but how rude would it be to just end a reply like that? Here ya go my friend.
Morishima was a nice way to open the show, I loved how the two men came out. It seems that it would have happened like that in real life, and I would love Morishima to keep his title. No one to me should take it from him.
I have never been a real fan of Akuma, and have marked for Delirious since I first saw him in action. So yeah I do not think that Akuma is at his standards, but that is just in my eyes, but for a show opener that is rather good to see. Also who does not love to see Delirious compete in any spot?
OK here are my thoughts on the second match, do not get me wrong I am a big fan of both men in the KOW, but they to me do not belong on a team together. They just in my eyes are odd together, I never have liked them teaming. The Brisco brother however fit together like the Hardy's, Dudley's, etc. Beside that is the fact that they are a great tag team, and if anyone is to take their title it better be AOTF!
I loved the match with M-dogg and Strong, both men are great fighters, and I have been a fan of the two for a very long time. It seemed to be a nice addition to the show. The segment after the match was what got me, not exactly the most pure way to end it. I can not wait to see how it turns out, as you are going for a feud I suppose.
Nice Four Corner's match! I loved everything inside it though I have never actually herd of or saw the man who won wrestle. I would have wanted The American Dragon or Marufuji to win, but never that shitty ass TNA wrestler we know as Jimmy Rave. Seriously the reason being is I am not digging his rocker gimmick inside TNA.
I am also not a fan of how he is cutting the promo, though I can see how you are going for a heel, the guy just gets on my nerves.
Black vs Generico = true love. Seriously the match had to own, because both men are great inside the ring, and could most likely put on one hell of a show! Generico losing is something I have no problem with, as I would I simmed it just the same. Nice match man, I love the fact of Black winning.
Holy crapat blk out!
Loved the street fight after the segment, I so pulled for Steen to win! Bet it would have been fun to watch in real life!
Nice match with Aries and Richards, I wanted Aries to win and am glad he did, seriously nice play. The promo after the match that Richards cut was pure gold, I am not even kidding.
Way to end the show! I am happy Morishima kept his belt!
Overall keep up the good work, and if you don't mind please reply to WWF vs ECW 01.

ROH: Windy City Showdown (June 1st; Chicago Ridge, IL)
-Before the show began Tyler Black cut a promo about facing Jimmy Jacobs and BJ Whitmer in a Final Battle 2007 rematch. Black said Jacobs’ change of attitude since that match hasn’t passed him by, and tonight he and Brent Albright will not be another stepping stone on Jacob’s road to his Ultimate Goal.
Erick Stevens def. Matt Cross, Eddie Edwards & Gran Akuma Stevens and Cross worked together as a team and dominated Akuma. Edwards managed to hold his own for the most part and was given a chance to really show what he can do. At one point he looked to have the match won with a Lionsault but Stevens broke up the cover. Moments later, Stevens was able to connect with the TKO followed by the Doctor Bomb for the victory over Edwards.
-After the match Davey Richards hit the ring attacking Stevens and Cross who were celebrating Steven’s victory. He laid Cross out with a handspring kick to the skull, before locking Stevens in the Kimura Lock. Richards would not release the hold as referees and ROH students stormed the ring. Eddie Edwards cleared the ring of them before putting the boots to Cross and Stevens. Stevens screamed in agony claiming his arm had been broken by Richards who stood tall with Edwards in the ring. Davey demanded a microphone and claimed the Revolution had begun. He raised Edwards hand as the pair stood tall in the ring.
Delirious def. Claudio Castagnoli Delirious and Castagnoli put on a good display here, Castagnoli used his size to ground and pound Delirious who used his antics to try and make the comeback. Delirious did just that after a leaping lariat and looked to have victory wrapped up when he headed up top for the Shadows over Hell. Castagnoli blocked it and in an amazing show of athleticism walked the ropes and took Delirious to the mat with a head scissors. Castagnoli would come close to victory with the Alpamare Waterslide but Delirious managed to survive. Later he attempted to hit the Ricola Bomb but Delirious countered it, took Claudio to the mat and locked in the Cobra Stretch which eventually earned him the submission victory.
Jimmy Jacobs & BJ Whitmer def. Tyler Black & Brent Albright These two teams had not met since their vicious match at Final Battle 2007, things were a little calmer here and the roles almost reversed. Tyler Black has become a fan favourite as of late, as has Brent Albright by proxy. Black played it up as Jacobs played the vicious heel role he has developed since January. The match itself was fairly good, nothing on their previous matches however. The highlight was Tyler Black’s Phoenix splash; BJ Whitmer broke up the cover at the last second. The finish saw Albright take Whitmer out of the equation with the Half Nelson Suplex, Jacobs take out Albright with the Contra Code before Black looked to finish Jimmy off with the Small Package Driver. Jacobs countered it and eventually locked in the Guillotine Choke for the victory.
-After the match Jacobs and Whitmer continued to beat down Black, Albright watched on from ringside before leaving receiving a chorus of boos for his actions. Meanwhile inside the ring Jacobs handcuffed Black to the ropes. Whitmer headed to the back as Jacobs began to cut a promo.
-Jacobs said he’s been talking about his Ultimate Goal for months and months. Jimmy said he has been through battles these past few years, with his ‘brother’ BJ Whitmer, with Tyler Black, with Brent Albright. And there’s been no reward. Jacobs said in all those wars, there was one constant … Lacey. Jacobs claimed she was always the light at the end of the tunnel, the prize for victory. And then she cast him aside and that light was gone. Jacobs continued saying at first he fought out of revenge, he fought for anything and anyone who would believe in him, Jacobs said he didn’t need belief and doesn’t need love. Jacobs said he needs to prove to the world, but more importantly to Lacey he's not the weak boy he was when she cast him aside. Jacobs said he’s better than that he’s no longer broken, no longer blinded by light, nor by love. Jacobs said for months his Ultimate Goal has been un-focused; he’s been battling for something he’s not quite sure of. But he’s sure now; he's battling for freedom, freedom from Lacey. BJ Whitmer then brought Lacey out from the back, her hands tied. He rolled her into the ring and she immediately tired to crawl to freedom, Jacobs grabbed her by the hair as Tyler Black tried to pry himself free from the cuffs. Jacobs continued his promo, he said Lacey will regret the day she cast him aside. Jacobs locked her in the Guillotine Choke until she passed out, the fans booed Jacobs and threw trash at him as he finally let go. He grabbed the microphone once more and said his Ultimate Goal is to cause her pain, to make her suffer, to take away her light and free himself of her forever.
--Intermission--
-During Intermission Kevin Steen along with el Generico cut a promo. Steen said usually he and Generico would be smiling, making jokes but tonight they’re all business. Steen said for months The BLKOUIT have been thorns in their sides and tonight that comes to a head. Steen said they’re in Chicago so it’s only fitting they’ll be doing battle in a Windy City Death Match. Steen said tonight he and Generico will kill Kingston, Ruckus, Joker & Sabian and then they’re coming after the ROH World Tag Team Championships.
--End Intermission--
Chris Hero def. Mike Quackenbush As you’d expect from these two, a great display of different wrestling styles. Hero dominated early on taking advantage of Hero’s injuries however Quack showed his fighting spirit and made the comeback. He managed to hit several signature moves but failed to put Hero away. Hero eventually managed to string together some offence and came close to victory with a Cravate-O-Clasm but Quack managed to kick out. “Lightning” Mike was able to counter the Hero’s Welcome and nailed the Q.D III for a close near fall. Hero begged of Quack, using the referee as a shield. The distraction allowed Roderick Strong to interfere; he connected with a Half Nelson backbreaker on Quack which eventually led to Chris Hero nailing the Hero’s Welcome for the victory.
-After the match Strong continued to beat down Quackenbush, however Mike Quackenbush’s iron will proved to be too much for Strong. Quack turned the tables and was within inches of gaining his revenge on Strong however Roderick was able to escape by the skin of his teeth. Strong fled to the back as Quackenbush was left fuming in the ring.
Windy City Death Match: Kevin Steen & El Generico def. The BLKOUT The fans were hot for this one, after suffering two losses previous show the crowd wanted to see Steen and Generico get their wins back and get a step or two closer to the tag team titles. The fans also hate the BLKOUT and that won’t change in any time soon. Kingston played to their hate perfectly, as he dissected Generico in the early going, ripping at the mask and hitting him with varying weapons. The story of the match was very much about the BLKOUT using their numbers advantage to keep Steen away from Generico who they physically abused and beat down. The crowd teased Steen making the sae on several occasions only to cut it off at the last second. Kingston got huge crowd heat as he broke up his own pin fall lifting Generico off the mat. Eventually Steen broke free and the fans erupted as he took on not only the legal men in the match; Kingston and Sabian but also Ruckus and Joker who had been holding him at ringside. Steen took all four men down to the mat before turning his attention to Kingston. Steen managed to connect with a Swanton for a close near fall. Eventually blood would flow as BLKOUT member Sabian nailed Steen with a chair, Joker then followed up with his Cannonball Senton with the chair placed over Steen’s head in the corner. Steen was damn near unconscious but still he fought and with the help of Generico he was able to survive the Spinning Back Fist and Lariat of Kingston before the pair connected with the Assembly Line for the victory.
-After the match Steen and Generico got on the mic and claimed it was about time this feud ended. Kevin Steen challenged the BLKOUT to a Cage Match at Death before Dishonor, and once they’re through with BLKOUT, they’re coming after The Briscoe’s and their tag titles.
ROH World Title Match: Takeshi Morishima © def. Go Shiozaki Go has had several impressive performances in his tour of ROH this year and has earned his shot tonight. The fans responded to him well in this all NOAH main event and it was arguably a brief glimpse into the Japanese Promotions future. Shiozaki put up one hell of a fight against the bigger Takeshi Morishima surviving all of Morishima’s signature moves. Go was able to kick out of the Side Slam, the Cartwheel clothesline in the corner and the Amaze Impact. The fans were well and truly behind him as Morishima headed up top for the missile Dropkick. He connected with it but Go managed to stay on his feet. The crowd exploded as Go came alive throwing everything he could at Morishima and eventually he connected with a German Suplex which brought the crowd to a frenzy. They chanted “Go! Go! GO!” as Shiozaki called for the end. He tried to lift Morishima for the Go Flasher but the champ was able to counter it. He threw a lariat which Go blocked before unleashing a hellacious Superkick. The crowd thought Go had victory as he launched himself off the top rope with a Moonsault but somehow Morishima kicked out. Go continued to wear Morishima down, but the beast that is the champion had other ideas and as Go ran to the ropes Morishima surprised him with a Lariat. That spelled the end for Shiozaki has he would go onto suffer not one but two Backdrop Drivers which brought the exciting battle to a close.
-After the match the crowd chanted “Thank you NOAH!”
ROH vs. NOAH Special Attraction Match: Nigel McGuinness & Bryan Danielson def. Naomichi Marufuji & KENTA This as expected was phenomenal. McGuinness and Danielson have very similar relationship and history as Marufuji & KENTA. Both teams have tremendous chemistry, both as partners and opponents and when put together in a tag team format like this nothing short of excellence is to be expected. And that’s exactly what the fans got. From strike exchanges, to great mat wrestling to explosive spots, this match had it all. One of the highlights was Danielson locking in the Cattle Mutilation on KENTA whilst McGuinness had Marufuji in the London Dungeon. Another highlight was KENTA & Marufuji’s Shiranui/Powerbomb Combination that earned them a 2.9 count. The finish to this great story saw Nigel counter the Go 2 Sleep, connect with a Lariat and apply the London Dungeon to KENTA’s already inured arm.
-After the match all four men shook hands and raised each other’s hands.

The show's opening match was pretty good imo, though I'm not 100% sure of who the three men are. Great that Delirious beat Claudio, push him... I enjoyed the tag match, it would of been very solid imo. Hero wins, fantastic move. Hero for ROH Champ! Great tag team deathmatch. Seemed a very solid Japanese ROH title match, so that's why they call it a 'World' title. Great main event also.

Another solid show, glad to see Stevens win that opener, but the post match stuff was the best here, with a great beatdown. Delirious over Claudio is meh, but I'm sure you'll do something with it. Albright loses, damn, but at least Steenerico won, hopefully they win again at Death Before Dishonor. Morishima over is yay, and ROH winning in the main event was great.

June 18th: Takeshi Morishima defends the ROH World Title against Austin Aries. The FIP World Champion Aries earned this shot when he defeated former champion Davey Richards back at Revolution. Aries will have to bring his A Game to Canada if he has any chance of beating the dominant champion. Morishima has torn through the ROH roster so far this year racking up win after win. Will Aries be able to become ROH’s first two time World Champion? Or will Morishima add another victim to his list? On Night 2, either Aries or Morishima will have to walk into battle against Canada’s own Kevin Steen. Kevin Steen & El Generico have fought their way to the top of ROH during their time here, and at the conclusion of this weekend, Kevin Steen will attempt to leave Canada with not only the ROH World Tag Team Championships; but the World title as well.
June 18th: Jimmy Jacobs has snapped, and vowed to take Lacey out of ROH and wrestling for good. Lacey has been at home recovering since her ordeal at Windy City Showdown. However Tyler Black, a close friend of Lacey will be in Canada and he will be looking to gain a measure of revenge on BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs. On Night 1 the rules will be relaxed as Tyler Black challenges Whitmer, on Night 2 in what should be a very physical grudge match, Tyler Black will come face to face with the man that attacked Lacey at Windy City Showdown; Jimmy Jacobs.
June 18th: After suffering defeat to Austin Aries, Davey Richards’s claimed a Revolution was coming. That Revolution arrived at Windy City Showdown as Davey Richards and new found ally Eddie Edwards attacked and came close to breaking Erick Stevens arm/ Stevens and regular partner Matt Cross are rising stars here in ROH and could very well be on their way to gold. Richards and Edwards have made it their personal mission to make sure that does not happen. In a six man tag team match, Stevens and Cross will be joined by Mime Quackenbush, and on the other side of the ring will be his rival Roderick Strong. The following night Strong and Edwards will be joined by Brent Albright as they take on Stevens, Cross & Quack in a Fight without Honor. The Revolution trip have shown no honor, and no respect to their opponents over the last few months; this will be Mike Quackenbush, Matt Cross and Erick Steven’s chance for revenge.
June 18th: In Four Corner Survival, Kenny Omega will make his ROH debut in front his Canadian countrymen. Omega has been on ROH’s hit list for quite a while now and it’s an honor to have him finally step foot in an ROH ring. Also making his ROH return is Pelle Primeau. Primeau left ROHs regular roster late last year and has travelled the country expanding his skill set. Pelle will be hoping for a successful return in a match that also involved Hallowicked and Sal Thomaselli. On night 2 Omega will once again be in action as he challenges Hallowicked in singles action. This weekend will be Omega’s chance to impress and make a name for himself in a Ring of Honor ring.
June 18th: After defeating Claudio Castagnoli at Windy City Showdown, Delirious has challenged Claudio’s King’s of Wrestling Tag Team partner Chris Hero to a match in Canada. Hero and Claudio haven’t had the most successful of years and you can guarantee Hero will be looking to get back on track with a win over the former ROH World Champion. On night 2 Delirious will team with former rival Bryan Danielson when they face Claudio and Hero in tag team action.

ROH: Homecoming II (June 21st; Toronto, Canada)-Before the show Kevin Steen cut a promo saying tonight the ROH World Tag Team Titles are coming home to Canada.Kenny Omega def. Pelle Primeau, Hallowicked & Kenny KingFast paced opener, Omega had home country advantage and was extremely over with the crowd. Hallowicked was able to win the fans over before the end of the contest and came close to victory with the Graveyard smash but King was able to kick out of it before three. In his return to ROH Competition Pelle Primeau came within inches of picking up the victory when he connected with a Seated Senton/Double Stomp combination on Hallowicked, however Omega broke it up. He took Pelle to the floor before connecting with the Hadouken on Hallowicked. The YRR def. Fast & FuriousThe YRR were represented by Chasyn Rance & Sal Rinuaro in a pretty standard tag team match. Both teams have been on and off the card so far this year and this was their chance to really impress and secure a regular spot on the card; neither team were really able to do. It seemed they were going through the motions at times however things did begin to pick up towards the end as the YRR gained control with Rinauro eventually hitting the Sal-utation Special for the victory. Relaxed Rules: Tyler Black def. BJ Whitmer via disqualificationTyler Black was extremely over here stemming from the events of our previous show. Black was desperate to get his hands on Whitmer after the attack on manager Lacey at Windy City Showdown and it showed as these two brawled over the building. BJ was dominated by Black for much of the early going but after an Exploder into the ring post which looked absolutely sick he gained control. He would later look to connect with an Exploder off the top rope through several tables on the floor; Black was able to prevent it back dropping Whitmer through the wood. Black would set up possibly for a Phoenix Splash to Whitmer and the broken tables however Jimmy Jacobs rushed to the ring. He pulled Black form the ropes and proceeded to beat him down. Eventually Jacobs would pull out the spike and would use it on Tyler before locking in the Guillotine Choke. The ref had allowed Whitmer and Black a lot of leeway throughout the match but the blatant interference on the part of the Jacobs was the final straw. -After the match Jacobs continued to hold onto the choke hold as BJ recovered on the floor. Eventually Whitmer brought a chair into the ring and used it to jab Tyler’s back as Jacobs maintained his hold. Officials and ROH students rushed to the ring and finally separated Jacobs from a lifeless Black. Jacobs got on the mike and told Black and Lacey to never return to ROH.Chris Hero def. DeliriousVery funny comedy match, Delirious out did Hero early on thanks to some classic Delirious antics. Hero later made a comeback and taunted Delirious after every successful move he hit. Moments later Delirious hit a leaping Lariat and proceeded to mock Hero with Hero’s own poses. The fans were eating it up when suddenly Hero turned. He became more serious and focused and came close to victory with a Rolling Elbow. The Cravate Neckbreaker earned Hero a second near fall and he looked on track to gaining victory. Hero would attempt the Hero’s Welcome however Delirious countered it and would go onto hit the Panic Attack and Shadows over Hell. Delirious picked up a two count from it as Hero uses the ropes to break the cover. Hero would be on the back foot until Claudio rushed to the ring. He distracted the ref and slid Hero his briefcase. Hero used it on Delirious and picked up the three count. --Intermission---In an intermission promo, Rave talked about being attacked. He challenged the person who attacked him to a match without revealing any names.--End Intermission--Roderick Strong, Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards def. Mike Quackenbush, Erick Stevens & Matt CrossReally heated, fast paced and not to mention violent Six Man Tag Team match. Strong and Richards just about killed each other with chops and Davey Richards dominated with his stiff kicks. Quackenbush was the star of the show however as he showed some great mat wrestling techniques as well as taking to the air with a grace that cannot be replicated. The spot of the match saw Stevens and Cross connect with their double stomp/TKO combo which set Edwards up for a Swanton from Quackenbush. The crowd thought it was over but somehow Strong made the save. Strong would go onto connect with an absolutely brutal Half Nelson Backbreaker on Stevens which served as a set up for Richards Kimura Lock. As soon as Davey had the hold applied on Steven’s injured arm Erick tapped out. Bryan Danielson def. Jimmy JacobsBryan Danielson met Jacobs here in a match that far surpassed many expectations. Jacobs seems to be in store for the push of his life as he went toe to toe with Danielson keeping up with him at every step. Danielson tried to dominate Jacobs with his mat game but the tenacious Jacobs refused to stay down. He survived all of Danielson’s signature moves and kicked out of the seemingly impossible, coming close to victory himself after connecting with a spear and later the Contra Code. Danielson kicked out of both and after a Roaring Elbow looked dead set on picking up victory. He applied the Cattle Mutilation but Jacobs countered flipping over with Danielson into a pinning predicament. Danielson countered that and positioned Jimmy for the Elbow Strikes. Jacobs worked his way out of it and locked in the Guillotine Choke. Before Danielson tapped out he managed to take a page out of Jacobs’ book and flip him into a pinning predicament which secured victory for the American Dragon. ROH World Title Match: Takeshi Morishima © def. Austin AriesAustin Aries had the chance of a lifetime here, and tried to do everything in his power to capture the ROH World Title for a second time. Aries threw everything he could at Morishima early on but Morishima weathered the storm and came back with a huge side slam on Aries. Morishima dominated picking apart Aries limb by limb. He connected with a Missile Dropkick followed by a Lariat which seemed to be it for Aries, however Austin kicked out. Aries would mount a momentary comeback hitting a Roaring Elbow. However Morishima got straight back to his feet, he swung for a Aries but Austin ducked. He hooked Morishima for the shin breaker/suplex combination and after an initial struggle he hit it. From there the story of the match became about Aries trying to hit his trademark combination. And after several failed attempts he nearly did. After connecting with a punt and brainbuster Aries went up top for the 450 but Morishima put a stop to it. He threw Aries from the top rope however Austin rolled through and leaped to the turnbuckles across the ring. He attempted to spring back with the elbow but Morishima caught him in mid-air and managed to connect with the Backdrop Driver from that position which earned him the three count. ROH World Tag Title Match: Kevin Steen & El Generico def. The Briscoe’s ©Steen and Generico have worked so hard for this shot and on home soil the crowd were begging for a title change. The Briscoe’s have been on such great form recently, with several well received title defences and arguably making stars out of Matt Cross and Erick Stevens, victory seemed almost unattainable for Generico and Steen… almost. The two teams fought back and forth for the early going until the Briscoe’s were able to isolate Generico on their side of the ring. They wore him down with explosive perfectly timed double teams but were unable to put his shoulders to the mat for the count of three. Generico made the comeback and after hitting a swinging DDT made the hot tag to Steen. Steen cleared house and managed to hit the Swanton moments later, followed by a Generico splash but Mark Briscoe dove into make the save. Mark managed to connect with Karate thrusts on Generico but was cut off by Steen who would trip Mark and lock him in the Sharpshooter. Jay made the save with a huge boot to the head. Jay and Mark would go onto hit the Springboard Doomsday Device but Generico broke up the count at two. Generico himself would pick up a near fall after pitching Mark to the floor and hitting Jay with the Split Legged Moonsault. The Generic Luchadore tried to go up top for the Top Rope Brainbuster but Jay managed to prevent it. Mark would spring off the adjacent ropes and take Generic to the mat with the Briscoe Cutter. Jay followed up with a Leg Drop but Steen made the save. The fans were on their feet as they got behind Steen who battled off both Briscoe’s. He managed to send Mark to the ring apron but got caught by Jay who set him up for the J-Driller. Mark prepared to spring in the ring but as he leaped into the air Generico caught him with a Yakuza kick sending him to the floor. Meanwhile Steen countered the J-Driller and set Jay Briscoe up for the Package Piledriver. He nailed it before rolling Jay back into Generico’s Brainbuster which was enough for Steenerico to capture their first ROH Titles.
