WWF Sunday Night HeAT 12/10/97 All Out War!
MATCH ONE - Christian Cage def. Taka Michinoku in 7:01 Another TV show, and Christian Cage is again the first thing we see. This time, he was taking on the WWF Light Heavyweight Champion and you can tell Cage brought his A-game to this one. Taka used his technical mat skills in this one, and it wasn't the aerial battle many fans were expecting, yet nobody was moaning about this match. That wasn't the only shock, as the ending was pretty shocking as well. Taka lifted Christian up for the Michinoku Driver but Cage shifted his weight and hooked his arms behind Taka's. He spun him around and nailed him with the Unprettier! Cage hooked the leg and got the CLEAN victory. Fans were on their feet for both men, and Cage certainly took a big leap forward with this match. Overall Rating: 59%
SEGMENT ONE - Kane Gives His Answer The Undertaker come to the ring and demanded Kane give him an answer, does he accept the challenge of an Inferno Match at Armageddon. Paul Bearer got on the stage and said Kane accepted, and then Kane come from behind Undertaker. ane spun Undertaker around and gave him a Tombstone! As Kane walked to Paul, Undertaker sat up and produced a lightning bolt to hit the stage and surround Paul Bearer in a ring of fire! Kane whimpered behind the flames as the crowd were going wild! Overall Rating: 83%
MATCH TWO - Kurt Angle def. Scott Taylor in 6:44 Another great performance from both men here. They both gave fantastic performances on Shotgun, and that continued here against one another. Angle was still working on getting a contract, and went straight for Taylor, hardly letting him getting any opening offense in. He used a variety of suplexes to wear down Scott but Taylor started to fight back, using an array of high-flying, quick paced moves to take Kurt off his feet. The finish came when Taylor jumped at angle for a cross body block but Angle caught him, put him over his shoulders and Olympic slammed him to the mat! Angle put on the ankle lock and Scott was forced to tap. Kurt didn't let go immediately, but the crowd still gave him moderate applause as the nasty streak of Kurt continues to show in flashes. Overall Rating: 61%
SEGMENT TWO - Severn Sends A Message In the back, Ken Shamrock was standing there, waiting for an interview to begin. However, the steel caging behind suddenly fell on Ken, and Dan Severn was behind with a chair! Dan starts beating on Shamrock's legs with the chair and side/back as officials start to rush around. Dan knocked them away and placed Shamrock's foot in the chair on the ground. Officials pleaded with him but Severn cruelly stamped on the chair, crushing Shamrock's ankle! Severn kneeled down next to Shamrock and held the NWA title in his face before screaming "THIS IS MINE! THIS IS MINE!" Dan then walked away finally allowing medical staff to attend to Shamrock Overall Rating: 51%
MATCH THREE - Owen Hart def. Too Cold Scorpio by DQ in 9:56 This match was the third in a row to really get the crowd going. They were all squarely behind Owen, willing him to win and in a way they should be happy with the result. Scorpio was managing to keep up with the quicker Canadian's offense but eventually, started to lose his cool. Scorpio's demise came when after putting Hart in an armbar, and Owen got the ropes, Scorpio refused to break the hold, resulting in a disqualification. Scorpio was enraged after this decision, and stomped on Hart more times, before storming out of the arena. With Owen's Number 1 Contender Battle Royal tommorow how will he be able to compete to 100% of his abilities with a damaged arm? Overall Rating: 75%
MATCH FOUR - Vader squashed TAFKA Goldust in 1:32 I think the entrances lasted longer than the real match in this case. As Vader was in the ring, TAFKA Goldust come to the ring, ranting along the way about how he was discriminated against by being given such a harsh opponent. He offered to give Vader a favour if he let him win but as soon as the bell rang, Vader near enough knocked him out with a headbutt! Vader squashed Goldust in the corner, and then laid him in the center of the ring before splashing him with the Vader Bomb! Vader covered TAFKA Goldust and the referee made the 3 count. Vader is definately the freshest man going into tommorows match and should be seen a force to be wreckened with. Overall Rating: 69%
SEGMENT THREE - The Mero's Torment Continues In the back, we see Marc Mero frantically calling on his phone, seeing if anyone has seen his wife Sable since last Monday night. As he finishes on the phone, a hand with a pipe crashes through the window behind, hitting Mero on the head and knocking him clean out! Mero is left lying on the floor, and nobody is around to help him! Who is it tormenting the Mero family? Overall Rating: 74%
MATCH FIVE - Stone Cold Steve Austin, Rocky Miavia & Cactus Jack def. Shawn Michaels, Triple H & Sean Waltman in 16:43 This match featured a lot of champions, and in the end a lot of chaos. What began as a normal 6 man tag became a very hotly contested 6 man tag shortly through. HBK's team were tagging in-between themselves and working with each other well while their opponents were not working quite so well, with Miavia even refusing to tag sometimes. However, soon, Triple H dived across the ring to get to Miavia, and Waltman & HBK went straight at Austin & Cactus! As Triple H & Rocky battled through the crowd, Waltman was thrown out of the ring, and Cactus Jack gave HBK the double arm DDT. However just before he went for the cover, Austin gave him the Stone Cold Stunner! Austin placed Jack on top and the referee counted to 3! Waltman crawled back in and he got a stunner as well. Austin grabbed the WWF championship and toasted it with a can of Steveweiser as HeAT came to a chaotic end! Overall Rating: 78%
Show Rating: 69% TV Rating: 5.19

News & Updates
This Monday Night, we will finally determine who is the number one contender to Shawn Michaels' WWF Championship at In Your House: Armageddon. Steve Austin, Cactus Jack, Owen Hart & Vader will meet in an elimination battle royal, and sources tell me nobody knows who will win this one. The finish has been changed many times over the past few days, and not even the wrestlers themselves know who will go to Armageddon. The only way to find out is to watch the biggest Raw of the year so far, this Monday night on the USA Network [/li][li] Many are flabbergasted by the rate of Christian Cage's popularity surge over the past week. Officials are loving the pairing of 2 of the most charasmatic men in the company (the other being Cage's amanager Joel Gertner) and they state it won't be too long before Cage is ready to become one of the top players in the company [/li][li] In a WWF.com EXCLUSIVE, Mike Tyson is scheduled to be at In Your House: Armageddon. The exact details behind his appearance are not finalised but he has been to every show over the past week, travelling with the guys, and is already a well liked member of the roster. Tyson is not trained to be a wrestler, and is not being brought in as one but yours truly would not be surprised to see him get in the ring during his 6 month run with the company at least once [/li][li] The current card for Armageddon is as follows Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship - Rocky Miavia[c] vs. Triple H Inferno Match - The Undertaker vs. Kane NWA Championship - Dan "The Beast" Severn [c] vs. Ken Shamrock This week we will also see the aformentioned WWF Championship match made, plus the winner of the Legion of Doom/D'Lo Brown & Mark Henry match will take on the New Age Outlaws for the tag straps That's all for now but keep tuned in to WWF.com as the Raw preview will be up shortly [/li][/ul]

WWF Monday Night Raw Preview 12/11/97
This has the potential to be the biggest Raw of the year, so where else should it be then Hollywood? That's right, Raw will be live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and you know all the stars will be coming out for our main event.
Stone Cold Steve Austin. Cactus Jack. Owen Hart. Vader. all past or future World Champions, these 4 are arguably the biggest in the sport. And this week, it will be an Elimination Battle Royal to determine who will face Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship at Armageddon. Nothing more needs to be said, just tune in and watch!
Another title match will be decided this week as the Legion of Doom will take on D'Lo Brown & Mark Henry for the right to face the New Age Outlaws at Armageddon for the tag team titles. Both teams have been fighting the past few weeks, but who will prevail when it really gets down to business.
The past few weeks, Marc Mero and his wife Sable have been getting tormented by a mystery stalker, resulting in Sable being kidnapped last Monday Night. Can Marc push that to one side however as he takes on the undefeated Christian Cage this week on Raw.
Plus, Triple H & Shawn Michaels will take on Rocky Miavia & Faarooq in a deadly tag team match. And, Kurt Angle will again be in action. Angle has been showing a slightly un-sportsmanlike side to his All-American persona. Will he do it again this week as he squares off against youngster AJ Styles?
Be sure to catch Raw, live on the USA Network, 8EST!

I really hope either Vader or Cactus wins. I'd love to see either take on Michaels. Also, I see LOD picking up the win. Either way, Armaggeddon is shaping up very nicely and I can't wait to see it. Keep it up.

WWF Monday Night Raw 12/11/97 The Number One Contender Is Announced!MATCH ONE - Too Cold Scorpio def. Brian Christopher in 11:47A tough, highly contested battle to begin the show. Scorpio has been harbouring a lot of rage the past few weeks and it seems Brian Christopher had to be the one he released it on. Brian was fighting valiently but with every stiff shot from Scorpio, the audience in the sold out Staples Center knew what was coming. After Scorpio reversed a piledriver attempt into a vertebreaker, he climbed to the top and gracefully soared across the ring, driving Christopher into the mat with a Scorpio Splash. Too cold hooked the leg and got the one-two-three. As Scorpio was mouthing off to the fans, he saw christopher walking up the ramp. Scorpio ran after him, knocked him down and hit another vertebreaker on the steel ramp! The fans booed Scorpio as he left the stage area disgusted at them. Overall Rating: 59%SEGMENT ONE - Cactus Jack Lays It All On The LineIn the back, Kevin Kelly was standing with one of tonight's main eventers, Cactus Jack. He said he's done it all in this business, lost an ear, gained respect, but he had never won the big one. He said if you thought he put it all on the line before, they've seen NOTHING yet, before smiling sadistacally at the camera Overall Rating: 81%MATCH TWO - Kurt Angle def. AJ Styles in 12:17Most fans of the independants and the WWF developmental leagues had already heard about AJ Styles and tonight, so did the rest of the world. However, like all of Angle's opponents, they couldn't beat him. Angle had a tougher time keeping the resiliant Styles on his feet, often getting tangled up in submissions, and pinning combinations. The crowd were split between the udnerdog and the all-American, and you could see the frustration on Angle's face. As Styles went to the top rope for another diving attack, Kurt "fell" into the referee, who bounced against the topes and crotched Styles. Kurt scrambled to the top and delivered an amazing top rope Olympic slam and hooked the leg for the 3-count. A pitter of boos could be heard as Kurt celebrated. Styles got up, annoyed but Angle just grabbed his hand and raised it as everyone else in the arena was left very confused Overall Rating: 65%MATCH THREE - Christian Cage def. Marc Mero in 10:52Marc Mero has been fighting his own personal battles over the past few weeks, as somebody has been tormenting his family. However for this contest, his only battle was against the white-hot christian Cage. Mero used his harsh brutality and sheer toughness to take out Cage early on, and kept kncoking him down. Christian was shocked, and really dug deep, slamming Mero to the mat and hitting an awesome senton bomb from the top rope for a close 2 count. As Cage went for the Un-Prettier, Mero reversed it and lifted Cage up for the TKO but Sable was thrown out onto the ramp! Mero dropped Cage and went towards the ropes, as the referee left to check on her. a masked man then ran in behind ero and cracked him over the head with a pipe again! The man scampered up the ramp, and the referee ran down to see Cage cover Mero for the 1-2-3! Overall Rating: 72%SEGMENT TWO - Double-CrossedAs Cage left, the masked man shoved the officials out of the way and offered his hand to Sable as she got up straight away. She brushed away the cobwebs as a very groggy Mero sat against the bottom rope, staring in disbelief. Sable grabbed a microphone and said she had seen the light. she said trimphantly "I have been franchised" and took off the mask to reveal SHANE DOUGLAS! The crowd popped for that as Sable and douglas kissed passionately before walking to the back, leaving Mero a broken man in the ring Overall Rating: 76%MATCH FOUR - Legion of Doom def. Mark Henry & D'Lo Brown to become Number 1 Contenders to WWF Tag Team Titles in 11:23Both teams had scored victories over each other one way or another, and this was the rubber match, with the added stipulation the winning team would face the New Age Outlaws for the straps at IYH: Armageddon. Mark and Hawk started it off, Henry having the size advantage and he used it wisely. Tagging in a lot, the Nation of Domination members were really weakening Hawk. As all hope seemed lost, Hawk managed to take both men down with a double clothesline and make the hot tag to Animal who really cleaned house. After nearly beheading D'Lo with a clothesline, Animal and Henry battled outside where he was dumped over the guard rail. Animal climbed the top rope, as Hawk had Brown on his shoulders. Animal dived and delievered the Doomsday Device! He hooked the leg and got the 1-2-3 and the Legion of Doom are going to Armageddon! Overall Rating: 67%SEGMENT THREE - It's VADER TIMEVader was backstage with a microphone. He said he was the biggest, meanest man in the company, and the fans and Shawn Michaels knew it. He said he'd steamroll through his opponents tonight because it's time. It's Time. IT'S VADER TIME! Overall Rating: 74%MATCH FIVE - Shawn Michaels & Triple H def. Rocky Miavia & Faarooq in 17:34This match was definately group warfare, as both DX and the Nation of Domination were flying their prominent flags in this contest. Rocky and Triple H couldn't wait to get their hands on each other in this match, starting out for their teams. Using an impressive and different display of chain wrestling both men were giving fans a taste of Armageddon. Triple H was getting the advantage but Miavia managed to break away and both scored a tag. Faarooq used his strength over Michaels in this one, using backbreakers, Samoan drops, every advantage he had he used to his full potential tonight. At around the 15 minute mark, everything was going swimnmingly for the Nation until Faarooq mis-aimed a punch and clocked Miavia! Triple H threw Rocky out of the ring and HBK delivered a fast Sweet Chin Music to get the win for DX! After the match, as they were celebrating on the ramp, Rocky came back in and obliterated Faarooq with a Rock Bottom! miavia grabbed a mic and told Triple H "If I do this to my team mate, imagine what I'll do to you in 20 days time". Both men had a staredown to end the segment Overall Rating: 86%SEGMENT FOUR - The Brothers Go Face To FaceIn the middle of the ring, Vince McMahon introduces his guest, The Undertaker. Just as he is asked why he has chose to finally face his brother, Kane arrives on the scene. Undertaker tells him he has been pushed to far by his former mentor and his brother and it's time to incinerate them in the inferno match. Kane simply turns his head, as if measuring the Undertaker. Undertaker says he's had enough and challenges Kane to fight him right now. Kane backs off but charges with a big boot. McMahon scampers and Kane lifts Undertaker up for another tombstone but Undi' shifts his weight! Undertaker drops his baby brother with a tombstone! The crowd are going wild as Undertaker leaves the ring, and as he raises his arms, flames slowly come out of the turnbuckles! Kane sits up in the center of the ring and cuts his throat while the camera fades to black! Overall Rating: 81%MAIN EVENT - Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Owen Hart vs. Vader vs. Cactus Jack in an Elimination Battle Royal to determine the Number 1 Contender to the WWF Championship- Stone Cold Steve Austin is eliminated first in 12:45. The fan favourite started well, delivering a stunner to Vader in the first 10 seconds of the match! However, he soon wore himself out, and as Owen Hart & Vader were attacking, Cactus Jack snuck up behind Austin, spun him around and delievered a double arm DDT! Fans booed as he hooked the leg for the 1-2-3 and Austin became the first person eliminated from the match
- Cactus Jack was then eliminated from the match in 22:32. Owen Hart was struggling to withstand the punishment from his two larger opponents but then, Jack made the mistake of turning on Vader, delievering rights and lefts that seemed to unfaze the bohemeth. Jack tried to put on the mandible claw but Vader grabbed his arm and threw him into the corner. Vader splashed him, and then moved Jack's limp body to the center of the ring, and he delivered an amazing moonsault that shook the Staples Center! Vader hooked the leg and made a very impressive, and crucial elimination
- The final two were Vader and Owen Hart. Owen had regained some strength and stamina, and was fighting with all his heart, yet still struggled to capitolise on any real offense. Vader again wore him down and launched him across the ring near the corner. Vader made his way over and stood on the second turnbuckle ready for the VaderBomb but Owen nipped up and clubbed Vader. He got up on the top rope, standing infront of Vader and delivered a stunning sunset flip powerbomb! The whole crowd were behind him as Owen slowly got up, raised Vader's legs and locked in the Sharpshooter! The whole crowd were going crazy as Vader reached for the ropes, but Owen brought him back to the center of the ring! VADER TAPS! VADER TAPS! Owen Hart won the Elimination Battle Royal in 29:42 and will now face Shawn michaels for the WWF Championship at IYH: Armageddon!
Overall Rating: 84%SEGMENT FIVE - Vince Makes The Match Even BiggerAs Owen Hart celebrates, Vince McMahon walks to the stage. WWF Shotgun Saturday Night 16/12/97 Owen Feels Cage's Rage
SEGMENT ONE - Sable "Explains" Her Actions As the opening titles finish, Sable's prowl hits the spakers and the crowd erupt in booes. Sable walks out to the ring, lookign down her nose at the fans. She gets in the ring and tells them she is sick of being with a loser, and that is what Mero was and is. She even faked a kidnapping to see if he would do anything and he didn't. Sable announces she has found a real man and brings her her new beau - "The Franchise" Shane Douglas Overall Rating: 62%
MATCH ONE - Shane Douglas def. Steve Blackman in 12:41 And boy oh boy did Douglas prove he is FAR from a loser. Both men were evenly matched before the bout, but they forgot to take into account the fantastic psychology of the mat game that Douglas' possesses. As Blackman tried to take douglas out with his martial arts moved, Shane picked his attacks and unleashed them strongly, nearly breaking Blackman's neck with an amazing release German suplex. Douglas was really building up momentum until Blackman caught an amazing kick to Douglas' face. As Shane was surprisingly screaming pai with the referee attending to him, Sable ran in from behind and kicked Steve in between the legs. Shane capitolised and quickly leant up to bring Blackman down in a small package for the 1-2-3. As Shane and Sable celebrated, Marc Mero ran in from the crowd! He and Douglas exchanged blows before he knocked him out of the ring! Mero was standing tall as Douglas and Sable ran up the ramp Overall Rating: 74%
MATCH TWO - Kurt Angle def. Jamie Noble in 13:55 Kurt Angle has been on a roll, yet still has not been given a contract. That may change after this, yet another great performance. Angle is still putting on 5* contests with young wrestlers, but some may say he's yet to experience a real challenge. However, in the first few minutes of this, it was all Noble! Angle barely got a look in, as for the first time, it was his opponent displaying some great mat technique. however, Angle started to use his amateur training to wriggle out of submissions, and using quick reversals to apply pain to his opponent. Noble began to switch to a high flying technique but as always, Angle got him grounded. Angle lifted Noble for the Olympic slam but Noble got out of it! He lifted Angle up for a high back suplex but Kurt rolled back, and took Noble to the floor with the ankle lock! Noble had no choice but to tap. Angle lifted him up and held out his hand, but Noble didn't shake back immediately. Kurt took this as a sign of disrespect and dropped Noble with a ferocious Olympic slam! Angle was celebrating still, as more and more of his darker side is being shown Overall Rating: 72%
SEGMENT TWO - Undertaker Gets Ambushed In the back, Undertaker is stretching out when the door flies open. Paul Bearer is standing there, and challenges Undertaker, who smirks and tells him he's not going to fall for his trap. Bearer calls him a sonofabitch and Undertaker stands up. Bearer starts to become nervous and smiles. Taker goes to turn around but Kane comes from a door in the room and throws a fireball in Undertaker's face! Undertaker is left screaming on the floor as Kane starts putting the boots in. Kane then lifts him up and throws him through a closet door, before marching off with a triumphant Paul Bearer. EMT's rush into the room as Undertaker may of suffered significant burns!
SEGMENT THREE - HBK Picks His Poison In the ring, HBK has a microphone. He says he's not worried about Mike Tyson being the referee, and he's not worried about Owen Hart. He's said he screwed Bret in Montreal, and just 2 months later he'll screw Owen in Vancouver. But, that's if he will even makes it there, after his opponent tonight. This person has been on a roll as of late and is so far undefeated. with that, out comes CHRISTIAN CAGE Overall Rating: 75%
MAIN EVENT - Christian Cage def. Owen Hart in 18:26 This match was shocking. not in the way it was bad, because it wasn't, it was very good but in the fact Christian Cage kept his undefeated streak against a legend in the making Owen Hart. Joel Gertner was at ringside cheering Cage on, and he certainly needed his spirits high after the fight Owen gave him. Owen kept working on Cage's legs, using stomps, knee drops, boston crabs, and even a figure 4 leglock. Cage was certainly limping but still managed to fight back, even managing a running powerslam like Owen's reletive the British Bulldog. Cage tried to climb to the top but Hart crotched him and delivered a fantastic superplex! Owen was up first, but Gertner got up on the apron. The referee went over and Owen tried to but HBK rolled in the ring, spun him round and delivered Sweet Chin Music! HBK rolled out and Cage grabbed a groggy Hart before he fell and delivered the Unprettier! Cage hooked the leg and got the 1...2...3! The crowd were in shock as Michaels rushed in to start stomping on Hart with Cage. A fanfare hit the speakers though and Kurt Angle ran to the ring to run them off! He grabbed a microphone and told HBK "I'm Your Poison" to end the show! Overall Rating: 82%
Show Rating: 74% TV Rating: 0.29

WWF Sunday Night HeAT 12/17/97 The Hero Snaps
SEGMENT ONE - Cage Is Rolling In the ring, Joel Gertner is standing in the center. He announces his man Christian Cage to come to the ring. Christian does arrive to a chorus of booes. Cage announces that he has just been told if he wins this match he will face Taka Michinoku at the Armageddon Pre-Show for the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. He says it's time the Kid grew up...quickly Overall Rating: 68%
MATCH ONE - Christian Cage def. Sean Waltman in 7:28 It looks like Cage is the number one contender after this match. Sean Waltman has been putting in occasional performances and a win would certainly get him more screen time yet it seemed he just didn't want it enough. At the start, he was delivering many quick combos of quicks and punches, using his martial arts to take down Cage but Christian used his size advantage to get one over on Sean, and started to use high impact moves, hitting a northern lights suplex for a close 2 count. Waltman started to turn the tables however, and even reversed a low blow attempt into an insiguri. Waltman had Christian all set up for the Syxx-Factor but Cage exploded out of it and caught Waltman with an inside package. 1...2...3! Cage quickly broke free and went under the bottom ropes and it seemed everyone was shocked at the result. Cage and Joel Gertner were celebrating in the aisle as HeAT cut to commercial Overall Rating: 71%
SEGMENT TWO - Shane & Sable Have A Plan In the back, Shane Douglas and Sable were seen conversing outside of an office. they opened the door and Vince McMahon was sitting at the desk. Sable announced she had a proposition for him - Marc Mero vs. Shane Douglas in a Last Man Standing match at In Your House: Armageddon. Vince said he likes it but would consult with Mero first Overall Rating: 66%
MATCH TWO - Shane Douglas & Cactus Jack go to a No Contest due to interference in 10:13 This match was almost like ECW in the WWF, as both men pulled no punches and both men were going to the extreme. It started with both men slugging it out in the center, no tie ups, just rights and lefts from both men, bruising each other almost instantly. Cactus started to get the advantage, using brute force and sheer burtality rather then the technical style Douglas favours. Shane managed to reverse some of Jack's offense, turning it against him, and cut Cactus on the eyebrow with a flapjack into the ring post. As Douglas was sizing Jack up for another attack, Marc Mero ran into the ring from behind with a chair! He clocked Douglas and began furiously beating on him as the crowd were going wild. Jack tried to stop him but the amtch was already ruled a no contest. Mero then nailed Cactus, and then continued to beat on Shane! Mero threw the chair down then screamed to Douglas that he accepted the challenge! Overall Rating: 77%
MATCH THREE - The Undertaker & Ken Shamrock def. Kane & Dan Severn in 12:51 This was a Hardcore match, which means falls count anywhere but I don't think they even came close to ringside. The two teams started on the stage, and before the crowd knew it, Kane and Undertaker had crashed from the stage onto the equipment below! Both men were left laying and for most of the match it was left to a hobbling Ken Shamrock & Dan Severn. The two were brawling all through the crowd, using the environment to their advantage, bashing each other's heads of walls and such. Severn swung for a forearm but Shamrock catched him and threw him backwards down a flight of stairs! After around 3-4 minutes of lying there, Undertaker began to move around and went searching for the other 2 men, and soon after Kane was hot on his tail. As Severn managed to get Ken in a pinning predicament, Undertaker broke it up but then Kane came after Undertaker. Kane was sending Undertaker back, and charged for a clothesline but Undertaker ducked and Kane was sent flying over a set of railings into the abyss of fans below! Severn grabbed Taker but got German suplexed by Shamrock on the concrete! 1-2-3! Overall Rating: 62%
SEGMENT THREE - McMahon Has An Announcement for Armageddon...Regarding The Rumble? In the back, in his office Vince McMahon is sitting there. He says he's always liked to plan ahead and this is a great example. The Royal Rumble is coming up next month and he says he need s a #30. So to save the hassle, at Armageddon, Vader will face off with Steve Austin and Cactus Jack in a triple threat to determine the #30 spot in the Rumble! Overall Rating: 87%
SEGMENT FOUR - Angle Is Making An Example In the back, Kevin Kelly is standing with Kurt Angle, who the crowd give a good response. He says it has been phenominal in the WWF so far and already he has a chance to face the WWF Champion in non-title competition. He says he's fighting as if it is for the championship and will make an example tonight. It's true. It's damn true Overall Rating: 80%
MAIN EVENT - Shawn Michaels def. Kurt Angle by DQ in 19:02 Kurt Angle made an example alright in this match. Picked by Owen Hart to cause damage to his Armageddon opponent, he certainly delivered his task. In a wrestling school, these men put their heart and soul on the line in 18 minutes of a mat classic. The usually hated HBK had the crowd in the palm of his hand, and Kurt Angle was hotter than ever with crowd response tonight. Angle gave the WWF champion a run for his money, while HBK proved with a succession of powerful moves including his patented diving elbow. After that, HBK was raring to go with his Sweet Chin Music but as he came out of the corner, Angle grabbed his foot and locked him in the ankle lock! HBK was screaming in pain, and almost tapped but managed to get to the ropes. Angle didn't let go. The referee counted to 5 and still, Angle wouldn't let go. Owen Hart was standing in shock as after nearly a whole minute, Angle finally released the hold. But then, he grabbed HBK again and Olympic slammed him in the center of the ring. The crowd and Hart were in disbelief as Angle was celebrating to end the show! Overall Ending: 82%

Once again, everything was good aside from the Owen match. Putting Christian over Owen makes no sense whatsoever, even if to further the HBK/Owen feud.
Everything else was good.

I did it for 2 reasons
1) To push Cage as a cheating, arrogant heel 2) To make Owen look like an underdog. Fear not, he is one of the 3 most over guys in the company, so it can't do him too bad.

Love the fact Cage went over. And the Main Event was good. My faveourite part was Vince McMahon's announcement, Im really looking forward to seeing who gets the #30 spot, and to see if they can actually win, and remove the curse of it. Good Job.

WWF Monday Night Raw 19/12/97 D-X-Terminated?
MATCH ONE - Adam Copeland and Jamie Noble go to a no contest due to interference in 8:19 This edition of Raw started with two relative unknowns but I wouldn't be surprised if we saw them more often. The Canadian, Adam Copeland started off first, getting Noble in a side headlock, before both men kicked off a flurry of chain reversals, before squaring off once more to the appreciation of all fans. Noble managed to get the upper hand on the next lock up, throwing Adam out of the ring, then diving through the ropes with a diving plancha! both men were giving a great showing, with Copeland nearly breaking Noble's neck with a sit down tombstone! Copeland went for an impaler DDT yet Noble reversed it with a Northern Lights suplex. As Noble had Adam in the pinning position, a man flew from the top turnbuckle with a splash onto both men! The man got up and we saw it was Too Cold Scorpio! Scorpio decimated both men, throwing them both out of the ring before telling everyone it was his TV time! Overall Rating: 67%
SEGMENT ONE - PPV Preview In the back, the New Age Outlaws were getting ready to deliver a promo when the Legion of Doom walk on screen to a pop. Billy Gunn & Road Dogg talk smack until Hawk & Animal challenge them to go right here, right now! Dogg & Gunn smirk, and tell the LOD they will wait and kick their ass at Armageddon, before walking off to booes Overall Rating: 79%
MATCH TWO - Christian Cage def. Ahmed Johnson in 6:03 In a short match-up, Christian Cage shocked the world with two things. 1) He beat Ahmed Johnson and 2) He did it without any help. Both men were using their contrasting styles, Johnson using pure power, while Cage was trying for a more technical response. While the match wasn't exactly pretty, Johnson showed some technical skills with an awesome fisherman suplex, and even displayed some submission skills, nearly making Christian tap out to a figure 4 leglock. The match finished as ahmed had Cage in a double underhook for a Pearl River Plunge but Cage flipped him over, still hooking Johnson's arms and dropping him with the Unprettier! Cage quickly turned him over and hooked the leg for the 1-2-3! Cage quickly slid out of the ring, celebrating as he got a rare clean victory! Overall Rating: 65%
MATCH THREE - Kurt Angle def. Jeff Jarrett in 7:42 Kurt Angle kept his undefeated streak alive in this match, and also his reputation as one of the toughest, most relentless superstars on the roster. Angle took everything Jeff dished out, even some dirty tactics like the occasional low blow and it just seemed to fuel his rage. Once the straps came down, Kurt performed an astonishing four German suplexes in a row! Kurt mounted Jeff on the mat, and started putting him in various submission moves he learnt from his time as an amateur wrestler, and then with Jarrett face down on the mat, Kurt put him in a sort of figure four leglock but combined it with the ankle lock! Jeff was screaming in pain and tapped almost immediately. Kurt got off straight away and was celebrating with his fans, who appreciated a victory for Angle that may not of been tarnished by un-sportsmanship Overall Rating: 82%
SEGMENT TWO - Cage Is Ready For Taka Christian Cage is backstage, drying himself off after his match. He tells Taka Michinoku that is a taster of Armageddon. It doesn't matter if it's pre-show, post-show, during the show, New Years Eve, Christmas or whenever because when they step in the ring there will be a NEW Light Heavyweight Champion Overall Rating: %
SEGMENT THREE - Mero Brings Out His Partner After Shane Douglas & Sable had made their entrances, Marc Mero's music come out. He said he had found somebody who the Franchise may of met before. He says she is fresh from her own time in the land of the extreme...Beulah McGuilicutty! Overall Rating: 65%
MATCH FOUR - Shane Douglas & Sable def. Marc Mero & Beulah in 12:07 While Beulah & Mero put up a hell of an effort, it was a hell of a comeback for Douglas & Sable. Just 13 days before their Last Man Standing match, Shane & Marc hardly went at it. Mainly because whenever Mero started to build momentum, Douglas made the tag, and Sable & Beulah had to come in. However, Beulah certainly made an impression in her WWF debut, having a...wait for it...CAAAATFIIIIIIGHT with Sable in the center of the ring. Towards the end of the match, it turned into chaos with all 4 people in the ring. Mero threw douglas out of the ring and finally TKO'd Sable to the delight of the crowd. However douglas came back in, threw Beulah out and drilled Mero with a vertebreaker! Douglas grabbed Sable and put her on top. 1...2...3! Sable pinned Marc Mero! Overall Rating: 62%
SEGMENT FOUR - Mike Tyson...Meet Vince...And HBK? The ring was set-up. The crowd were pumped. Vinnie Mac was in the center of the ring and then out come "Iron" Mike Tyson to one of the loudest reactions ever in the WWF! As Vince quizzed him about his past, and his future plans, the subject turned to Armageddon. Just before Mike could comment on the men involved, "Sexy Boy" hit the speakers, and Shawn Michaels strutted to the ring. The fans were on their feet, as both men stood face to face. Shawn told Iron Mike that he is a big shot around here, and he deserves to be the WWF Champion. And if Mike Tyson thinks he is the big shot around here, he's wrong. Shawn tells Tyson if he doesn't call it down the middle at Armageddon, he will introduce him to some Sweet Chin Music. The segment ends with both men staring down at each other Overall Rating: 84%
MATCH FIVE - Kane def. The Headbangers in 10:14 Kane has long been compared to his brother in terms of being a monster, and to prove it he took on both members of the Headbangers in a handicap match. The Big Red Machine was a little overwhelmed at first, as both men were all over him, clubbing him with all their might. However, once Kane started to turn the tables, he was unstoppable. He was throwing both men around like ragdolls, nearly breaking Thrasher's nose with a massive big boot. Kane finished the match in emphatic fashion, after gorilla pressing both men over his head to the mat, he grabbed Mosh by the throat...then Thrasher and double chokeslammed them straight to hell, pinning them both for the 3 count. After the match, Kane grabbed a bottle and began pouring it over both men, and then Paul Bearer gave him a box of matches. He sparked one and the crowd were screaming as Kane dropped it and lit the Headbangers on fire! Officials were there in seconds, extinguishing both men while Kane and Paul Bearer left. Kane just gave us a chilling preview of the Inferno Match at Armageddon! Overall Rating: 68%
SEGMENT FIVE - DX Wants to Break Some Hart's In the back, Triple H, Chyna and Shawn Michaels are standing with Kevin Kelly. Triple H says Owen got taken out on Shotgun. He'll be taken out tonight, but if he survives he'll be taken out for the third and final time by HBK. HBK adds he can take some advice from Chyna...suck it! Overall Rating: 87%
MAIN EVENT - Owen Hart def. Triple H in 32:55 This match went nearly all the way across Kansas in this Kansas Street Fight. Both men came as they are, and this really was a fight, hardly any wrestling shown at all. They started in the ring but it quickly spilled to ringside, with Triple H grabbing a TV monitor and smashing Hart in the head with it, busting him wide open. Hart returned the favour as they brawled through the crowd by smashing Triple H's head into a popcorn stand! Both men went backstage, throwing each other into walls and doors, and somehow they ended up in the shower with Owen choking Triple H with a shower cord. The match eventually started to return towards ringside, and on the announce table. Triple H tried to pedigree Owen through one table but Owen back body-dropped him through the other announce table! Owen threw Triple H in the ring and locked in the sharpshooter, and Triple H had to tap! As Owen Hart was celebrating, Shawn Michaels ran to the ring with his belt but Owen met him straight away, foiling his attack, and locking him in the sharpshooter! Chyna ran in and pushed Owen off and DX had to scatter as Owen came roaring back at them. All 3 were outside as a bloody Owen was left in the ring celebrating with the WWF title Shawn left!
