News & Updates
- In injury news, Skull of the D.O.A and Tom Brandi are both on the shelf. Skull broke his wrist, and Brandi broke his arm. both will be on the shelf for 2 months.
- This weekend, seeing as it IS Christmas will be "Presents To The Fans". Each show (Shotgun, HeAT and Raw) will be full of dream matches. You want to see Shawn Michaels vs. Steve Austin? Chainsaw Charlie vs. Cactus Jack? You can see matches like this AND more this weekend on all WWF programming
- WWF have made some very interesting signings over the past week, without any hype (Shane Douglas & Beulah for instance) but it is believed these decisions were made to increase the surprise, and mentality anything can happened. There is expected to be a number of roster cuts at the end of the month, with maybe some more talent being brought in from other federations.
- In Royal Rumble news, anyone has a chance to win this year. It really has been blown wide open, and nobody has a clue who the main front-runners are. However the current buzz is around, shockingly Shane Douglas & Triple H. Both men are seen as being able to cope with the push, and gain enough credability between now and Wrestlemania to be a real challenge for the WWF title, whoever is holding it at the time.
- Look for more talent to be brought up from the developments and given a significant push. Christian Cage has been doing wonders, and now WWF are looking for somebody who in a year or so could be challenging for the world title. They are specifically looking for a homegrown talent - and at the moment, Adam Copeland is looking the main candidate. He has been constantly getting a warm reception whenever he has been on TV, and WWF see him as the type of person you can build a company around
- That's all for now but be sure to check with us sometime soon for the Shotgun preview. Plus, leave your Armageddon predictions and overall thoughts with us whenever you want. Thanks!

Loved Raw. This Owen push is good. I had my doubts but now I'm being proved wrong. Not sure about Douglas or Trips winning the Rumble. I'd love to see The Undertaker win. Keep up the good work.

Great Raw Dude. Owen vs HHH looked freaking Awesome. Nice to see Owen get the Win, Angle/Jarrett IMO could have been a better match, I wish it would have gone longer, because IMO, these two could have put on one hell of a Show. Cage and Copeland are really starting to show they are ready for the bigtime. More Copeland than Cage. But they are both getting there. McGuilicutty supprised me. But im really looking forward to Armageddon. Your doing 100% great dude. Please keep it up.

WWF Shotgun Saturday Night 12/23/97 Heartbroke Team
MATCH ONE - Christian Cage & Kurt Angle battle to a double countout in 13:12 Angle and Cage have both been amazing in their first few weeks in the WWF, both knocking up undefeated streaks. In this match, something had to give. but it didn't. Cage started the match with a Lou Thesz rpess, and both men immediately started grappling with rights and lefts, before angle got the advantage and put Cage in a crossface chickenwing. Cage managed to battle out, and scored a dangerous DDT for a 2 count. Christian went to the top rope and hit a missle dropkick but again only got a 2. Kurt ducked under a clothesline attempt and hit 3 German suplexes in a row to the delight of the crowd. As both men were wearily getting up, Joel Gertner ran down to ringside but got booted away by Angle which gave Christian a break, and he hit a high angle back drop. Christian charged at Angle and both men went through the ropes. They started battling as the referee began counting and at 6, Kurt hit an Olympic slam on the steel! Kurt began to walk to ringside but Joel Gertner ran up the ramp and shoved Kurt down. Gertner held Kurt down and the double countout was given! Gertner was laughing and ran up the ramp, being chased by Angle, who Christian ran after. Overall Rating: 78%
SEGMENT ONE - CAAAATTTFIIIIGGHHHTTT! In the back, Sable was getting a cup of coffee when Beulah walked over to her. Sable laughed and told her she was a loser on her debut. Beulah shrugged it off, but said she may suck at wrestling but there's one thing she learnt in ECW she is very good at - fighting. Beulah slapped the taste out of Sable's mouth and both women were soon brawling all around the backstage area! Officials ran over to them to break them up as Beulah challenged her to a match tommorow on HeAT! Overall Rating: 56%
SEGMENT TWO - James Cornette Debuts The Mid-West Express By the entrance area, James Cornette was standing with a microphone. He says there is a distinct lack of recognition for talent from the mid-west and southern regions of America. Cornette says this is going to change, and introduces future WWF Tag Team Champions, Jeff Jarrett & Bobby Holly - The Mid-West Express. Cornette raises both mens arms to end the segment Overall Rating: 63%
MATCH TWO - The Undertaker def. Cactus Jack in a Steel Cage Match in 20:23 In a season of giving, both men gave their all in this bloody street fight. Taker started off first with a number of bonecrunching punches off the skull and stomach of Jack, but Cactus come back with a hiptoss into the steel cage, and a foot choke against the side of it. Jack dragged Taker back in and threw him into all four sides of the cage, which had opened up a gash on Undertaker's head. Jack tried to climb the cage but Undi' was hot on his tail and brought him back into the ring. Taker un-did a turnbuckle and slammed Cactus' head repeatedly against the exposed steel, cutting Cactus in the eyebrow. Undertaker threw a couple of elbows and tried to leave through the cage door but Cactus lept and pulled him back in. both men exchanged more blows, and Undertaker grabbed him by the neck. He raised him up but Jack swung his foot into Taker's chest, dropped down and delivered a double arm DDT! both men began to move, Cactus moving towards the door and Taker climbing the cage. Kane's music hit the speakers and he ran down with a chair, giving it to Cactus and pointing at Undertaker, who was nearly over the top. Cactus came back and swung at Taker, who caught the chair and booted Cactus back. Taker then leapt off of the top of the cage onto Kane on the outside! Taker won the match and connected with a vile chair shot to Kane, which left him lying on the outside. Taker posed to the fans, as Shotgun went to commercial. Overall Rating: 78%
SEGMENT THREE - Strange Bedfellows Indeed The cameras follow Triple H backstage, before he stops outside a door. He sighs, and knocks on the door, and Rocky Miavia answers! Triple H simply tells him "Let's go" and they begin to walk to the gorilla position - the main event is next! Overall Rating: 88%
MAIN EVENT - Triple H & Rocky Miavia def. Shawn Michaels & Owen Hart in 22:45 This match had enemies teaming up against friends, in one of the most unique main events in recent memory. The match started with Shawn Michaels & Miavia. Both were keeping it smart at first, keeping it simple. Rocky began to gain the upper hand, catching Michaels with a spinebuster and a few hard knee drops. Rocky drags HBK to his corner and tags in Triple H, who brings HBK to his corner and makes him tag Owen. Owen dives over the top rope with a hurricanrana onto Triple H, and begans pounding on him in the center of the ring, while on the outside Miavia is laughing. Trips starts to turn the table, catching Hart with a sidewalk slam, and then tags in Miavia, where the two double suplex Owen. Michaels runs in and dives onto Miavia, until Triple H pulls him off and the 2 go face to face. Both men go out but Hart tags HBK in and he goes after Miavia, giving him a hard brainbuster and a superb diving elbow from the top turnbuckle. He tags in Owen who attempts a double stomp onto Miavia, who rolls out of the way and tags Triple H. Triple H and Owen brawl until Hart knocks him down and tags HBK who comes in reluctantly. Both buddies stare each other down until Miavia pushes Triple H into Michaels, who takes him down! Hart comes in and now all 4 men are brawling! Hart throws Miavia out into the stairs, but turns around into a sweet chin music intended for HHH! Triple H boots Michaels and hits the pedigree, hooks the leg and gets the 3-count! Triple H walks off, followed by Miavia celebrating, while Hart gets up and simply spits in HBK's direction to end the show! Overall Rating: 82%
Show Rating: 75% TV Rating: 0.27

Interesting main event. I can't quite think what will happen next, and that's what makes me love this diary so much. Cactus/Taker in a Cage match sounds awesome and I'm glad Kane got taken out. HeAT should be good. Keep it up.
