There's two waves for each line. Two waves for Spidey's, and Two waves for Villians. Iron Spidey is wave two for the spideys.

Went to TRU today. Found a Psylocke, can always use another X-Man, cool. But, in addition:
- Red Wasp variant (no thanks, dykehair) - Captain Marvel variant - Spider-Woman variant - and DESTROYER
sweet googly.

Those figs....suck. And at a new $10 a pop price for, at least these first waves, inferior product? Nah, I dont think so.
Yet another collection goes down. I'll hold off judgement until I see wave 3 (where we see if they decided to fix any bugs) but for now the ML line is on indefinte hold for me.

Yeah, I was talking about this with the owner of my shop. He was skeptical in the first place, and then asked my opinion. I bought the entire Giant Man wave off him, so he knows I collect them. I told him I wouldn't be getting any of the Hasbro MLs, and if he were to order any at all then just keep it to a case or two.

I pre-ordered my set of MLW1 for Annihilus yesterday, it's shipping today and I should receive it Tuesday.
I'm gonna have Annihilus & Hercules repainted. But have Hercules fixed alittle, and a custom Banshee.
I don't know what to do with the rest.

I think they look okay.
Emma Frost looks horrible. I can't believe that Hasbro would even release something that looks that bad.
Banshee could look better, but he's not that bad. I like Hercules and Ultimate Iron Man.
I am just happy Hasbro seems to be doing away with the unnecessary finger articulation. They'll actually will be able to hold their weapons.

Just got my package from CSC.
Annihilus was worth it alone. Gonna have him repainted, mainly the pinkish purple parts, and a wash added to the green parts.
X3 Beast is actually good, too bad I don't collect movie figures, I'm gonna save him for a Dark Beast custom or classic beast.
Hercules is fine, the skintone kills it for me. The grin is fine, gonna have him repainted, and raise the belt higher, and attach the chest belt to it. Then make the mace shorter.
Banshee is funny. I'm gonna keep the body for fodder, and get a custom made of him but alittle bigger/taller.
Ultimate Iron man is good just needs a wash, and little things done. The Stark head is too small.
Emma is better than some of Tb's women, but she has her faults. The new articulation sucks, mainly in the arms, and no waist joint. She's fixable and fine as is, but the skintone is too light and her hair lacks any washes that would've helped.
Planet Hulk is fine if he looked like this in the comic, and the steel arm is horrible. It should look like Colossus's arm. The gear is nice, the shoulder one is wrong, the part that goes over the chest is different than the comics. He's missing alot of things from the comics: another weapon, skirt, sandles.

After actually seeing the first wave in person, I've decided i don't hate them, and even wanna get Beast and Iron Man now. The price tag is going to limit me to one per paycheck though. Emma looks great with my X-Men, and finally, all the Astonishing X-Men are at least represented on my shelf. In fact, 4/6 of them are actually Astonishing accurate, which I like:
- Cat Faced Beast ("Xtreme", maybe?) - X-Factor Cyclops - Astonishing Colossus - Astonishing Kitty - Astonishing Wolverine - Astonishing Emma

You're a custom guy, but most of us are settling for what we get on the package and it really seems unimpressive.

I'm on the fence about Hasbro ML 1. The figures in the set that look good to me are all rereleases of older figures (Iron Man, Hulk, Beast) while the three new ones (which I would actually want) look crappy. Plus this $10 price tag is a bit excessive. (Why does Hasbro have to charge $2 more than Toybiz for what appears to be less in terms of detail, accessories, and the lack of a comic?) And is Annihulus worth $60 to me? I don't know. Maybe in person I will like the figures more.
Yes, I know I'm the one who bad-mouthed Toybiz, but I was hoping Hasbro would improve the product before the launch (I mean, I posted that topic months ago). Series 1 might not sell very well.
Series 2 definitely looks better than series 1. Plus, more characters I want like Quicksilver and Blob BAF.

I found the new Ghost Rider figures yesterday. I picked up Blackheart, Scarecrow, and the interchangable head Ghost Rider, mainly for the novelty of having a head that looks like Nic Cage.
The figures are pretty good, lots of articulation, decent detail. The ball joints at the shoulders and hips are a little weird. They are smaller, which takes away from the overall look of the figure, but seem to move a lot easier than Toybiz ball joints.

Picked up X3 Beast at my target today.....I'm probably only going to get the movie figures since toybiz didn't do a X3 line. Colossus and Juggernaut look fantastic. Beast isn't too shabby either and the likeness is fantastic. No overly tight joints either like I would get with my toybiz figs and still do with the TNA line.

I picked up Hasbro's Demogoblin. It's better than legends in the painting department.
