Official Marvel Legends Collectors Thread

I managed to score an Iron Spider-man for around $3 thanks to the Michigan Scan Law. Not a bad figure, but not without it's flaws. The paint, while a cool metallic red, is sloppy at points. I also would have prefered better ball-jointed hips. His legs are a little weird too, they kind of go outward at the knees. I would have also liked forearm and waist articulation, but I'm just being picky.

The figure looks very cool, the metallic red and the overall sculpt look great. I like his back "arms" that the suit has, each one having 3 points of articulation. Definitely worth the price I paid!

I picked up the black Spider-man a couple of weeks ago. I really liked the black and silver repaint and I didn't get the original (though I do have the Classic Spider-man symbiote figure from a few years ago).

What do you do for work, because you have much, much too much money!

I work 5-6 days a week, overtime at least 2-3 times a week, $12 a hr for overtime, Receiving/Recovery. I can afford to spend some money on the side.

I pay bills at my dad's house, he can't afford to pay his own mortage since his company is slow right now, otherwise I could afford to live on my own.

Toy Fair is actually like a week before the NY Comic Con... which I'm going to..

Neither version of the Human Torch is a variant. Human Torch was originally distributed with the 4 on his chest, but some collectors asked for the 4 to be removed, since it would be more comic accurate. So as a running change, later shipments had the 4 removed. At the beginning, the figure with the 4 was plentiful, but as time went on, it became more common to see him without it, and eventually it became rare to see him with the 4.
