Awesome news. I just want Blackbolt... I've been wanting him for awhile to complete the Illuminati. Nonetheless can't wait! you know that Black Bolt has been out for awhile now right? I just did a quick search and found one on ebay. Yeah, I have fallen outta the loop ever since Secret Invasion ended. I didn't know it was out. It was delayed so many times I just totally forgot about it.

^ i'd much rather get new characters than another Wolverine, another Gambit, & another Cyclops. and there already is a Jim Lee Cyclops fig in the X-Men Legends line anyway. why make another when we can get Red Queen, or Sage, or Daken, or any number of X-Men characters that have never received an ML fig or a fig at all.

That Jim Lee Cyclops is downright awful. He looks sickly. Red Queen, Sage, Daken will only sell to die hard collectors of MLs or X-Men. If you are gonna relaunch a line like this, you need more of the established characters to attract main stream American. Otherwise you are gonna get 1 or 2 lines and then its going to die. Why do you think every WWE series includes either/or all Cena, HHH, Mysterio, Undertaker? Because those are the figs that will sell.

^ they arent relaunching the line everywhere like when it first began. they are going to be 8-10 2 packs and they will be TRU/online exclusives. why do you think we are getting Lady Bullseye. these sets are for the diehard fans and collectors. these arent being released mass market outside of TRU. and since the last 2 pack that had a Wolverine in it is still shelfwarming at both TRU and Wal-Mart i really doubt yet another Wolverine is the answer.
look at the last wave of single carded figs released. what sells and what doesnt. Punisher is the easiest to find and cheapest fig from the Nemesis wave. Nova, Black Bolt, and Tigra are the most expensive and hardest to find. look at the Ares wave. Crossbones and Guardian are expensive and hard to find. Human Torch, Iron Man, & Spider-Man shelf warm.

As far as the 8-10 TRU or online 2 packs only...did not hear this. The last I heard is the the 6" scale was not dead and would be returning soon. The last 2 packs are GONE around these parts. Nothing left. They were out and then in a blink, gone. The Elektra 2 pack was the shelf warmer....not Wolverine. I never even saw the Nemesis wave come out. Besides, the rarer figures are generally short packed and thats why they are harder to find. Doesnt mean they generate more money for Hasbro/Toybiz.

^ only Crossbones was shortpacked. the entire Nemesis wave was dispersed equally aside from the variants. you should come down south then, both TRU and Wal-Mart in Durham have the Wolverine/Forge 2pk and the FF 2pk in abundance. those were the big shelf warmers down here. the Nemesis wave was probaly the most popular wave of all-time and most stores sold out the day they put the cases up. thats why you may have missed it at your local Wal-Mart. also some Wal-Marts got their cases in May while others got them in June so it was tough to gauge when the stores would have them. you'd basically have to go each week on their stock day and hope you werent too late.
the 6" line never really died though. wherever you heard that from was mistaken. they limited release for the first quarter of this year to promote the Marvel Universe figs. the Nemesis wave came out in May and the new 2 packs come out at the end of August with the variants of the Aug. 2 pks coming out in October and then the figs shown at SDCC will be out starting in December and running through 2010. rumors were started by regular people on boards like this because there was nothing from October of 08 until May this year. those same people failed to read Jesse Falcon's site where the announcement was made about the line and the future of it and why there was nothing out in the 1st quarter. so no, its not a relaunch.

^ and that means what? Jesse Falcon is who decides everything for Marvel toy lines. i'd go with what he says over a toy news site that gets their news from other sites any day. the line never ended so it cant be relaunched.

Jesse Falcon ain't the main guy anymore. He was the main guy for Toybiz, now he just helps Hasbro with some stuff but doesn't actually have power there.

It never ended? This is going no where and its symantics anyway. Fact is the line cant be successful if you cant put a product out that attracts the main stream. Collectors dont buy enough figs to make the line profitable.

^ i agree, but a toyline cant be considered ended when the company is still producing figures. if the line really ended, then the relaunch already happened with the Nemesis wave. believe who and what you want, but i'd take the word of a guy involved with the line over the word of a secondhand news site.

I'll take the word of a second hand news site that has gotten things right before. I know nothing of you or your guy. Sorry.
