I remember a time where mid-week, non-holiday, it'd be uncommon for no one to post in close to 24 hours. Which if you look at my post and yours, 18 hours passed. This place is really slow, but what can be done? I meant the board more than just the chat thread. Yeah and I wasn't being serious, dude. I'll never feel the board is as good as it was, but that's not totally a bad thing. This place just needs someone to start some hot topics.

This place just needs someone to start some hot topics. It does have some hot topics. The IWA:MS topic and the Ultimate Indy Wrestler are some good ones right now. If we can have some sensible debates and less of the negative insults being used due to not being able to defend one's point. And thats not directed at you. Also, you an inability to convey sarcasm. But evidently, so do I.....so who am I to talk.

Do you guys really like that Chikara stuff? I've seen a little of it, probably not enough to pass judgement, but come on. Bunch of high fliers doing 4 dozen spots a match in a bunch of stupid gimmicks. Wrestling's really gone down hill, and so quickly.
I calls it Sh*t-kara. Take that society.

I'd rather see a bunch of silly gimmicks than some guy who looks ridiculously generic.

While I agree, it's nice to try one of the other thirty flavors, not just Vanilla. (50 points to whoever gets the example) I gotta argue that all the gimmicks in the world can't make a lackluster, wrestling, promotion thrive. I need good wrestling, and if Chikara offers it, I dive in. So really you could have a bunch of guys in nickelodeon outfits, but if they're not willing to bump, I say off.

I don't think it ever made air. Would have had more success on Cartoon Network.

Ordered TPI 07 and Point Proven from IWA MS to help them out. GO RUTGERS! Point Proven is a decent show with a fantastic and crazy main event. I have yet to watch my TPI 2007. But will shortly.

Technically that tag match wasn't the main event. The cluster hardcore battle royal was.

Technically that tag match wasn't the main event. The cluster hardcore battle royal was. Same can be said for Sunday Bloody Sunday. A gnarley (not in a good way) match that had no business closing the show.

Well, I considered that the main event b/c you're right the main event was a cluster that sucked and I didnt even stay to see it. I left after Cide. Sunday Bloody Sunday is a great DVD if for only 1 match.....Ki/Hernandez was awesome!

You're gonna tell a guy who happens to be one of the best in the biz that he doesnt know how to run a promotion? It's run by Mike Quakenbush, correct? I wouldn't call him "one of the best in the biz", nor would I call him "good". You want generic look at a guy in pants doing 45 top rope moves. Sometimes it's the most ridiculous of wrestlers that are indeed the most generic. What's more common, a guy who wrestles or a guy who does 500 finishes as set-up moves and 100 spots per match. You have your opinion and I have mine. Just like everything else in life, wrestling will return to it's roots.
