You're gonna tell a guy who happens to be one of the best in the biz that he doesnt know how to run a promotion? It's run by Mike Quakenbush, correct? I wouldn't call him "one of the best in the biz", nor would I call him "good". You want generic look at a guy in pants doing 45 top rope moves. Sometimes it's the most ridiculous of wrestlers that are indeed the most generic. What's more common, a guy who wrestles or a guy who does 500 finishes as set-up moves and 100 spots per match. You have your opinion and I have mine. Just like everything else in life, wrestling will return to it's roots. Its a FACT that Quack is one of the best in the biz. Not an opinion. You may not like his style. Or you may not find him entertaining. Those are all opinions. You're free to say. But saying Quack is not good is like saying the water aint wet.

Shooter is exactly right, saying Quack is good is an opinion, it might be a popular opinion but an opinion none the less. You might like him but a lot of people don't, I didn't think he was popular at all until I started getting on here and everyone started talking about how great he is. Nevertheless, I'm not one to tell people what to do, what to think or how to wrestle, but he's not my kind of guy. I'd rather watch people who use existing moves correctly rather than relying on made up moves just for the sake of being innovative. I've seen many of his matches and I guess I don't see what you people see in him, but the same could be said about people like Chris Hero or Necro Butcher. Indy wrestling is not good, maybe one day it'll be stricken from the earth.

Next week is Justin Credible vs. Spike Dudley at a local show and it's the fans bring the weapons match. What should I bring? I want something unique, possibily funny but doesn't have to be.

What an other-wise lame discussion.
I mean, if I said Khali is a great worker I'm not full of sh*t because of it being my opinion?

I guess you wouldn't be, everyone has different tastes of what is good and bad. Of course when it comes to someone like him the general consensus is that he's bad all over.
When it comes to these high flying indy guys it gets more complicated. Most people think he's great, I do not. I have a different idea of what "good" and "bad" is. I'm not saying it's more accurate than most other peoples, but maybe it is. I'd rather see 15 minutes of nothing that builds to something, then 6 minutes of go-go-go speed work that gives everything away.
Don't get all crazy on me talking about how I don't what wrestling is and all that junk because I'm not interested in arguing over the internet.

It's an opinion. Albeit, of many, but that doesn't make it fact.

It's an opinion. Albeit, of many, but that doesn't make it fact. Thank you, my point exactly. It's like Cena hate. I can admit I'll never be a fan, but I wouldn't go as far as to say I don't enjoy what he does. If you're gonna put an opinion on a higher scale than a fact, you're gonna wind up with an uneven balance. "Khali moves around like he's got jock itch, and his delivery is second to all" FACT! "Khali's a really good wrestler, because he's entertaining" An opinion. Telling me what a consensus thinks does not make it a fact.

Shooter, you gotta admit, his examples have been piss poor. I mean, do you consider Quack a generic high flyer? Sure it's an opinion, but wouldn't that make Steve Corino a generic technical wrestler? Haha, I said Corino, because anyone else just wouldn't do.

i do consider quack and corino both christly wrestlers. quack is a great wrestler, he is a master of high flying and can go classic style too.
corino at this point is just a great comedy wrestler

Fans don't know what good wrestling is, fans would buy tickets to watch a baboon jerk off a walrus if they promoted it right.
Still my fave thing ever said to me...
