LOL!! I know the flame will be on. But I am gonna stick to this opinion. I dont find Danielson to be generic. However, I find his look to be completely generic. So is El Generico's. But I think its supposed to be that way. ;D Hey, you know whose really generic? Kevin Steen, I mean he's a wrestler and he wears a singlet. How generic is that? Hey, don't argue that, it's my opinion, and I gave all your generic spot monkey, head droppy, indy guys a chance. Ok GatecitySinner!

Maybe Joe gets a win in the tag match but Misawa will go over for sure. It will be interesting to see how many people show up for the title match.

Jesus, the fact that you guys actually think that Quackenbush is good is just so frustrating. Even though you may not believe me, there are a lot of people that agree with me, however they don't have the patience to come onto these boards and argue with you guys. I like Danielson, he's very good. I like Nigel too, except I don't care for some of his recent stuff. You people are not listening to me. Generic. When I say that word I mean what's generic now. 25 years ago a guy in a pair of black trunks may have been generic, now he's the only guy in the company that has gear. Quackenbush looks like every other indy loser in the US.....skinny, in pleather pants and a t-shirt, always high flying and attempting to create these new moves to prove he's an innovator. Don't get me started on El Generico, that guy is bad, real bad.

Name the 5 guys you think are the best in America today......wrestlers, not entertainers.

I don't watch "entertainers", if I want to see how to entertain a crowd I'll watch Riverdance or something, I watch wrestling to see wrestling done by wrestlers. I don't even know who still wrestles in the WWE or TNA so this is difficult, but here are a few guys that I enjoy-
Fit Finlay Steven Regal Charlie Haas Jamie Noble Shelton Benjamin Kurt Angle
I like Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade as a team. They do exactly what they can do and do it well. I also appreciate Christopher Daniels. Do you guys have a list of guys you enjoy? If we're supposed to be listing indy guys let me know

Good god! Misawa better not get tagged in on the first match or he'll be fatigued.

Amongst some of the controversy here lately, I'm glad WF-OF is back to life.
Im not a BIG fan of Quack. He is good, probably in my top ten. But he does seem more Lucha based then anything. Like Jim Ross once said, to be the best in the world, you've got to be able to sell out arena's on your own. You need that superstar look and presence. Quack lacks that, Danielson lacks that. A lot of people lack that,
My favorites to watch...
Kawada Yoshahiro Takayama KENTA Regal Finlay Ultimo Dragon Chris Hero

If all of those guys still wrestle then yes, you can call that my top 5. Please, enlighten me with your top guys, I would love to see what you call great, besides Mike Quackenbush of course.
Also not a big fan of Chris Hero, but let's stay on one guy at a time.

You can't call someone vanilla nowadays because they might wear simple trunks and spend a lot of time on the mat. Vanilla implies that there is nothing unique about them, but with the way indy wrestling is, what with the flashy gear and high risk moves, someone who is like Danielson wouldn't be vanilla because he's the one that's truly unique. Guys that fly around the ring are a dime a dozen, but people like Danielson are hard to find.
I haven't seen enough of Roderick Strong to form an opinion, but if you give me a list of his matches that you found good then I will check them out.

I call Roderick Strong great. I'm glad you do, I thought I was the only one. Though honestly, he's becoming more and more of a lesser of favorites. I mean, Davey can be Davey but I'll still take Roderick Strong. But truthfully, Rocky Romero is the creme de le creme of the NRC. That man's probably in my top 3 in ROH, alone. Though that can be debated and rebutted. But yeah if we gotta list top 5, wrestlers. Simply wrestlers who are entertaining to me in the Indy. Claudio Castagnoli Nigel McGuinness- He'll always be a favorite for way to many reasons. Rocky Romero- As stated, he's entertaining, especially when put against a guy who will steal the show anyway you book him. Naomichi Marufuji- So shoot me, I think he's one of the best imports in a long time. Shingo Takagi- I don't know, but for the life of me, Shingo is amazing in my eyes.
