They're sending me the right DVD and told me to keep the other. Since I already have the show, I guess i'll just sell it..

Johnny Smith is a British wrestler that was in ECW for a brief time, as well as Stampede. He's been called the best technical wrestler of all time by people like Steven Regal, Chris Benoit and Bret Hart. Before you attack who I think is good you should really do some homework. I gave your boy a chance. Expand your minds past these indy guys and try and take in some of the talent around the world.

I am DEFINITELY willing to take a look see. Edit: I just searched him on youtube and nothing. Got a link to anything I can watch via youtube? Where can I see his work? Any recommendations?

Quack is not a good wrestler, I've watched him enough times to know that. You guys have a different idea of what wrestling is, and that's fine, but he's not my kind of wrestler. He is generic, because he's just another high flier, just like the other 95% of indy wrestlers are. For God's sake, stop saying what is a fact and an opinion. I understand that the majority of this forum love all these indy guys and I'm not going to try and explain to you why they make me sick. Fact- Mike Quackenbush is a professional wrestler Opinion- Mike Quackenbush is not a good professional wrestler You don't have to have a degree in thermodynamics to know the difference. Let's agree to disagree, you guys go watch Necro Butcher and I'll watch Johnny Smith, there's no reason for us to argue about trivial stuff. And to say I haven't seen enough of Mr Quackenbush may be accurate, perhaps I haven't seen the wrestling clinic matches you all have, but to say I have a short attention span is absolutely false, because I've sat through enough crappy shows watching every second of it that I've wanted to kill myself. It doesn't take long during a Quack match to see him on the top rope, and it's been my experience that most technical wrestling is done on the mat. Whats your take on Johnny Saint?

After reading the guys 2nd post on johnny smith from ECW, Im starting to think he MEANT Johnny Saint.
Funny because Ive always loved Regal, Finlay, Hero, Claudio and others who modeled their work after Johnny Saint. Which goes well with a Quack style of work. And this guy dosnt like Quack but brings up Johnny Smith (Saint?)

The guy thinks Quack sucks. How can he really know good technical wrestling?

The conversation is indeed funny, but if anyone is being dogged... and unrightfully I might add, it's Quack. I mean imagine if this was about brawlers and he was saying Necro ain't nothing special... compared to Brody, maybe not, but of today he's got alot of appeal.

If he said Necro was generic.......Melvin would be all over him. And rightfully so......nothing generic about Necro.

For God's sake, I know the difference between Johnny Saint and Johnny Smith.
Do me a favor, go to OWW.com and look for Johnny Smith, there is a bio and pictures available. He was in ECW for about 30 seconds and wrestled Louie Spicolli at some shows, and he was a brief member of the Impact Players. You can even purchase a best of Johnny Smith off of Highspots. Hell, I will give you a copy of it if I need to.
I'm not going to argue with you about Quack, because when it comes down to it he's not a technical wrestler, he's a spot freak who does lucha crap constantly and big move after big move to try and make himself look like some kind of innovator.
Jesus Christ, try and listen to me for one red hot second. There are a lot of people I would say that are great technical wrestlers, even some indy guys that know what they're doing, but Mr Quackenbush is not one of them.
I brought up Johnny Smith at first to try and show you people what my definition of a true technical wrestler was, but since very few of you, or none of you as it seems, know who that is then that point is nonexistent.
And the reason I know about technical wrestling is because I've been watching it for over 15 years, and I mean good people, not some loser in pleather pants doing cartwheels and 29 tilt-a-whirl head-scissors in a row.
I appreciate what Quackenbush does, yes he is very agile. Yes he is a great athlete. Yes he's made a name for himself doing the things that he does, but in the realm of technical wrestling he's on the outside looking in.

what do you think of danielson? is he also a generic heel. No he thinks Nigel is... I love this guy, I just hope he's willing to hold onto that opinion, and express it. There's still a place in these boards for a guy like him.

what do you think of danielson? is he also a generic heel. LOL!! I know the flame will be on. But I am gonna stick to this opinion. I dont find Danielson to be generic. However, I find his look to be completely generic. So is El Generico's. But I think its supposed to be that way. ;D

Kevin Steen, I mean he's a wrestler and he wears a singlet. How generic is that? Hey, don't argue that, it's my opinion, and I gave all your generic spot monkey, head droppy, indy guys a chance.

What a huge NOAH weekend:
10/25 Special Tag Match 60 min Time Limit Mitsuharu MISAWA & Takeshi MORISHIMA vs. Yoshihiro TAKAYAMA & Samoa JOE
10/27 GHC Heavyweight Title Match 60 min Time Limit Mitsuharu MISAWA vs. Samoa JOE
Misawa will probably win but it still looks AWESOME.
