I think having this as the main event is a terrible idea. Who is going to purchase a PPV to see a 6-man tag match? You know someone on the heel side not named Kurt Angle is going to get pinned. I am guessing that Booker vs. Cage will also be headlining the show. They better hope that they have a really good undercard. But I just don't see this PPV getting above 15-20 thousand buys with this kind of main event. I'm sorry but this is more of a TV main event than one that is a PPV main event.

possibly the worst main event this year. turning point was always one of my favourite tna ppv's, as the card was always good, and the matches that turned out were really good. but that has changed this year.

I agree, that's exactly what I was thinking earlier. In 04, no pun intended, but it really was a turning point for TNA. The card was great from top to bottom. In 05, you had a solid overall card with a good match from Joe-Styles, and it was cool to see Christian vs. Monty Brown before a million other "big names" came in. Then last year it was good to see Samoa Joe get a big win over Angle, which eventually didn't really lead to anything in the long run anyway. But this year, I hope the overall card can be good, but it's hard when the main event should be on TV and not PPV. |

What I don't understand is where is Christian in all of this,you would think if they were gonna have a six man tag match it would be Angle/Styles/Tomko go against Christan and two new members of the Coalition,seems kinda dumb that they aren't doing anything with that angle,also where is Sting in all of this it seems all of the top matches of been announced or feuds are starting (Booker/Christian) but where's Sting in all of this,is it just me or is anything actually going to happen with XXX or Daniels new "gimmick",don't get me wrong Angle is one of my favorite wrestlers but what's the point of going two hours is Angle is getting double camera time

Worst main event all year. I thought Nash was terrible in the main event last month and I really don't see this being any better. They'll need a really good card to sell this one to me.

TNA Just annouced via TNA Mobile that added to the PPV is the Feast Or Fired Battle Royal! Three title shots will be awarded.. and one TNA roster member will be FIRED! No word on who's in the match.

This match screams Russo. I'd hazard a guess that the contents of each briefcase won't be revealed till the end of the match when all 4 have been pulled down hence no one knows what they get. I somehow see Roode getting the pinkslip case and using some "legal wrangling" having Ms Brooks fired instead from her contract with him. Personally, i like the gimmick idea (though "firing" a member of your roster seems a bit extreme, suspension would be better and make more sense) i just wish TNA could come up with better names for ther gimmick matches. |
