I need some help. Okay, so my regular team is the Dolphins and whenever I play against my friend he uses the Steelers, and he's too damn good at the game. Like he knows how to play defense extremely good and he reads what I'm doing. And on offense he just picks me apart. But anyways, I tried using the Saints and Vikings, without ever practicing with them. The score was 42-13. So I decided I need a good team, aka the Cowboys. I've started using them, and I'm trying to go by their playbook. But I need some help, what are some good runs, passes, play actions, etc to pick? Going from picking plays by formation? Also, any hints on their default audibles? I mean they aren't that great but I want to keep them the same. Basically, are there any ways to execute them better? Any help would be appreiciated. You want to stop his passes in 09? Zone, Zone, Zone, Zone, Zone. Cover 2, Cover 3, Cover 2 double QB Spy, Zone Blitz (in Dime). Honestly, it's all that works this year. Man to man is FAR too easy to spread and throw on with time. P.S. Only play friends. The NEW Madden online idea- be the raiders. Use McFadden at FB (for fast plays up the middle). Snap the ball, use RT and just run backwards until you're at a spot where no one can touch you. Then, wait for your WR to stop running their route and run around enough to get open, throw. If you don't want to do that, you go into singleback. Snap the ball and use RT right away and run with Russell for 8 yards up the middle on a sneak before the DL's AI works (what a fun new glitch, eh?) I complain so much about going online and playing people you don't know. But then I go right back to it. Seriously, tell me the stove is hot, and I'll continue to touch it. I guess I'm just a sucker and feel like I'll actually find someone who wants to play a REAL game online once in a while. Right now, that percentage is easily under 10%. No one wants to play real football. They just want to up their win total. What do you get if you win in Madden by cheating or making it look like Blitz? Nothing right? I just want to make sure, because the way people waste their time making the game a total joke, you'd think you're playing for the right to breathe.

See, this is what I hate. People who arent good just want to use teams with a strong arm QB and a receiver who can burn coverage just so they can drop bombs all day. The Dolphins are a perfectly capable team as long as you know how to play. On offense, you have Pennington, who doesn't have the strongest arm, but he is accurate. Then you have both Ginn and Camarillo as your core receivers who are criminally underrated. Ginn has the speed to get by coverage on slant routes and will catch a lot of what you throw at him. For rushing, you've got two incredibly talented backs in Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. If you cant get some rushing yards with either of them, just stop playing. On the defensive side, you have a stacked backfield in Lehan, Allen, Crowder, and Porter. Crowder and Porter will cover the middle really well, and Lehan and Allen have the backfield on lock. Basically, stick to zone coverage on defense and lots of playactions/slant routes on offense for passing and pitches for rushing and you wont have a problem using the Dolphins. I can easily beat both the computer and friends using the Fins.

Does anyone know that website where there was a guy that has players in NCAA named from the 2009-2012 seasons and you can download them and then import them to Madden?
I have the file I just want to check on how to install it right.

Mine is at like 620 also. However, I play on All-Pro. All-Madden makes the CPU like Jesus Christ no matter how many points they are down by.

I play online more than my Franchise. I just like playing someone that will give me a challenge (and play correctly while doing so). The computer is too predictable sometimes. I haven't lost to the computer in Madden in years.
Though I love how half of my "losses" are because of a stupid disc read error when I'm winning. I haven't actually quit yet. My D/C should be 0.

Only thing I don't like about Online is how if a noob finds a play they like, and works for them, the keep reusing it.

Who all would you guys put on a roster of players from Ohio State?
I kinda just feel like creating them, if the only reason is because of Ted Ginn and Chris Wells and a few others. So basically I'm only aware of the more high profile players.
Who else would be good additions to the roster?
(yes, I know its stupid to create a team I only know a few people off of)

AJ Hawk? Will Allen? Will Smith? Andy Katzenmoyer! (I always wanted him to succeed) Bring back Maurice Clarrett and Eddie George!

Anyway Madden 09 on the PS2 is like Madden 08,07,06,05,04,03, and 02. Same running style, diving, catches, tackles, graphics, etc. ALL THA SAME! Cant wait till I get NFL Fever 04

I'm going to rent NCAA tonight and get the updated rosters from a buddies EA Locker to upload into Madden. So if anyone wants them, just PM me and I'll get on so you can download them also.
Though...most people already probably have them.

The only complaint after putting in the draft class...like 6 QB go in the first 10 picks. All "compared to Tom Brady" in the draft comparison. Kinda stupid. And most RB compared to LT/Westbrook/AP.
Otherwise, it's pretty cool. Tim Tebow will go first, that's for sure. He's nasty in NCAA.

I rented NCAA 09 before and Tebow PWNS, i would like to have a draft class since I deleted mine from my memory card.

I only have the 360 download.
Tim Tebow went 1st in a draft I did after simming a season to test it. He was a 96 overall right off the bat. That's a little extreme if you ask me. I like when the top draft picks start at 82/83/84 range. 96 means he's already better than 98% of the QB in the NFL. But that will not stop me from drafting him...
