I only have the 360 download. Tim Tebow went 1st in a draft I did after simming a season to test it. He was a 96 overall right off the bat. That's a little extreme if you ask me. I like when the top draft picks start at 82/83/84 range. 96 means he's already better than 98% of the QB in the NFL. But that will not stop me from drafting him... taht sucks for me, but 96!? but fantasy drafts will be a blast!

I have NCAA 09 and Madden 09 both for 360. I have no idea how to put my NCAA draft class into the MAdden game. Grrrrr.... I have online as well.

You have to get the full rosters from someone's EA Locker (I have a name, if I can find it, I'll send it to you). That way all the players have their real names. You save the rosters from NCAA on your hard drive. Then in Madden, after a pre-season, it'll ask you if you want to upload those rosters into your Madden season. You say yes, and boom. After that season, it's your draft class.

So I just started playing online on Madden... God I hate playing with little bitches! If someone uses an ok team, I'll use the Dolphins, but if they are some team like the Patriots or the Chargers, I'll be the Cowboys.
This kid was the Chargers so I picked the Cowboys, this kid sucked. He would run with LT, run with LT, pass, etc. Nothing complicated. One drive was run with LT, pass (sacked), pass (sacked), punt. That happened a few times. Then one it was 4th and like 30 and 7-0 at this point, the idiot goes for it with a fake punt pass to a lineman. It failed bad.
Then scored with someone. He tried to bomb it, I picked it off. Then I hit up Hurd for a TD, and the idiot quits. It was 21-0 in the 3rd quarter.
I sent him a message afterwards calling him a sore-loser bitch.
ugh

I'm terrible at defense online. My O is usually fine, but my opponent is usually great at defense, so I'm ed at the get go. I've no idea what to do with the lineman/backer audibles though. Any tips?

If you're playing against the CPU the QB is so accurate it's pretty much unstoppable.

If you're playing against the CPU the QB is so accurate it's pretty much unstoppable. Yeah. If they want to pass, they can usually. I stop it pretty often though. I like to run 4-3 - double QB spy a lot. (if they come out with 2 WR, 1 RB, 1 TE) I run a lot of Man Under. I run a lot of cover 2 (and buck also), a lot of Cover 3 pinch. I run a lot of zone blitzes too. Switch up a lot. Especially online. People won't know what you're going to run. I love when I play a kid that runs the same D every down. I read it after 1 play and then I can do whatever I want to it. What I don't like, is the kid I played online last night. Since he was the Dolphins (even though he had a record of 120-24 or something) I figured I'd pick a crap team too. As soon as I hit ready, he hit down once quickly, and ready right away...on the Cowboys. How pathetic. I recieved (it's 5 minute quarters online) and scored easily within 3 minutes. He then decided to run the same run play so many times, that by the end of the first quarter, my defense was already reading it. Hurry up offense, hurry up, hurry up, hurry up, over and over and over. SAME EXACT PLAY. Your D gets tired, Marion Barber just rips off easy gains. Every 4 downs = 1st down. 4th and 2, he's going for it. I was audlibling into engage 8, under smoke, everything...and he would easily get 3-4 yards per play and first downs. I didn't feel like playing that. I go on to play REAL...FOOTBALL. So while up 7-0, I quit. I don't have time to waste playing a kid online that is so desperate for a win that he takes the football aspect out of a FOOTBALL GAME. How pathetic.

It was ridiculous. He this shpeel from his 40. Inside handoff to Willie Parker. Hurry up. hurry up. hurry up. Calls new play...it's the same one! hurry up. hurry up. hurry up. I couldn't stop it no matter what I audibled into. However, after one of the hurry ups, he audibled into a pass and threw a pick

Key to stopping the pass is setting up some kind of zone coverage. Man is pretty much useless against the pass as it's way to easy for the receivers to get a step on the corners. At least, that's what I've found when playing the game.

I've been getting better with practice. I run a lot of 2 Cover Zones, with a spice of 3 Cover, and the occasional zone blitz to start off the drive. That usually catches them for a loss
I usually play Chargers, so it's outside handoff, inside, then a PA to Gates, which usually nabs me a conversion, or a TD if I'm in the redzone.
How do you guys audible your linemen and backers on O and D?

Chargers (me) vs. Cowboys First game it was 4th quarter with like 3 mins left, I'm up 28-21. He throws it to TO, I pick it, and run up up the sideline to his 20. He quits. Chargers (me) vs Bucs Next game, 3rd quarter, with 10 seconds left. Throws a cross pattern with Gates, he scores. 13-3 me, with about 1 second left. He quits.

Is there a way that you can blitz your safeties? I know in the preplay controls it has options for linemen and linebackers, but can I for a safety? I could just do it manually, I guess, but I was just wondering.

Or you can use the "hot route" on them, and press down (as you can do with any player) but you have to be clicked on them. I often do it with my MLB, turning him into a QB Spy, instead of him in man, or even in coverage. That way when they want to go short across the middle to their TE, my LB doesn't go too deep and picks it off. Works quite well in Cover 3. Chaning him from coverage into QB Spy.

I'm curious as to how you break through the offensive line as a linemen? I use those damn finesse or power moves but it never works. Btw do you continuously tap it or just press it once?

It's on the right analog with 360, so I'd assume it's no different for ps3.
