This is the first year my Game Stop isn't openning at midnight for Madden in the last 5 years...Which sort of sucks as I'll actually be driving by there around Midnight tonight after picking my wife and daughter up at the ferry station from seeing the Jonas brothers at MSG tonight. I'll have to go back tomorrow morning at 8Am which I had to do anyway, because I have to go to the Target that's next to Game Stop first thing in the morning to get my daughter the new Jonas Brothers CD that comes out tomorrow. Good man. I get to do crazy stuff like that all the time for my son. The hard part was getting the tickets for them. I called as soon as they went on sale and there were no 3 seats left together just alot of 1 seats and 2 seats. So I ordered the best 2 seats together that they had, but I think the show sold out in something like 10 minutes. I jsut talked to my wife they are now in their seats. They first had to sign the tour bus. Where my daughter wrote "I heart Nick" inside a heart and then she said should I leave my phone number?!  Oh God she's not even a teenager yet and it starts.  |

I preordered mine from toys r us this mourning, I get a free farve figure and a 10 dollar gift card, not bad. anyone know if they would open eariler than 10 for this?

I thought about doing the midnight release thing, but  it. i'll go to Target at 8:00 am tomorrow and get a copy. |

So, what's the first thing everyone does when they get Madden? For me...I play a quick game with Rams and play with teams with new players and what not (Raiders with McFadden) Then, I check out franchise and what not. Basically, I check out everything before serious franchise play. I hope playbooks are accurate to the coordinators this year. Like, i hope the Rams have some of the formations the Redskins playbook did under Saunders. I cry for a couple of hours and then start playing after I compose myself. |

Depends on whether your particular Wal-Mart is a super Wal-Mart or not, whether they've advertised as having one or not, and whether or not you live close to any GameStops or other chain stores doing it.

I guess I am going to pick it up tonight since I am off tomorrow. I went in and paid it off. Got $40 my NCAA which is nice.

Tomorrow I plan on going at around 10:00, when TRU opens and picking it up. And as soon as I get open, I'll pop it in my 360 and probably play a quick exhibition with maybe the Pats. Then when I get used to the game I want to start a franchise with the Vikings.

I think I'll take in my '07 special edition version to Gamestop tomorrow, get a couple pennies, then buy the regular edition of 2009.

i beat the panthers in OT in my first game. this is amazing. 26-23 UPDATE: i was playing the pats at NE. i was losing 31-3. 34-10 in the start of the 4th. I ended up winning 36-34 with a field goal with 4 seconds left. so far, 2-0.  |
