Do you guys feel like this game is alot harder? Mainly running. In 08, I could have like 20-25 carries for anywhere from 120-200 yards, every game. But in my first game I had like 16 carries and like 70 yards. I'm sure I'll get better once I play it more, but right now it makes me so frustrated. The same thing goes for passing, not to that extent, but still.
Also, I'm not using the My Skill thing. I started on All-Pro, but I got nowhere so I went to Pro for now, and thats what I got those pitiful stats on...

I'm using the madden skill thing, and I'm really impressed with the difficulty for the non-superstar games. It's hard but, even if I lose it feels like it was a fair match.

So, I'm loving this game. It's a lot better than last year's game IMO. It's really really fun.
Can I start up an official WF league? I was pretty surprised to see we didn't already have one going.

You're a Patriots.................Cowboys......................and Vikings fan? really now? Anyways. Great game except the Raven's defense completely destroys me. Huge Pats and Vikes fan yeah. Cowboys I like mainly just 'cause of T.O., and I've been a fan of Romo for a little while now.
Anyway, yeah I agree with the difficulty has gone up. But it makes it more fun. I have yet to have a blow-out game. All my games are really close, be it a win or a lose. I've already done half of my Vikings season 1 franchise. I have a loosing record.  (like 3-4 or something). All my games were such nail-bitters though. I love it. I also agree running is VERY hard this year. I can't do **** with AP Also, a funny little note is that Aaron Rodgers got injured in my franchise in like pre-season, so when I played the Packers on week 1, I beat them pretty easily. (I think it was my easiest win yet in the game) But now he's back and the number one QB in the league. lol. Oh and I figured out how to get rid of the tips below your player. Just change the game type thing (You pick it after picking your team) to 'Hardcore'. |

Especially about 95% of the time on stretch plays Yeah, it seems that once the ball is handed off (either truly or in a play action play) the O-Line just crumbles. Hell, I had a play aciton play where within 2 seconds of faking the hand-off I had 3 guys right in front of me to get the sack. It's not like they blitzed those 3 guys extra, either. I haven't won a single game yet, although I've only played 2 in the Franchise mode. I lost to the Redskins by a field goal and then lost to the Rams 20 - 0. I think part of the problem is with the Madden test, it's not realistic situations. I mean, from the hike I never just get one person at a time trying to tackle me. It's like 3 right in front of me from the second the hike occurs and if I actually break free I have one guy behind me that is like 1000 times faster than Jacobs. |

Well that sucks. I don't even have a printer and I really wanted the newer one. Walmart had some printed out and just gave me one of the new ones. Should have gotten me one.  |

So is their really any difference between the PS3 and 360 versions? My mom picked the game up for me today but got it for the PS3 and I'm wondering if I should take it back for the 360 version..

Other than Xbox Live vs PSN, no. The games are finally on par with one another in terms of features and functionality. The only real differences are the differences between the consoles themselves.

Plus I'm starting to doubt that they take the shittyness of your team into account. I mean I don't think my rating should drop 40 points if I use Bears, because there's no way in hell I'll be able to pass for more than 150 yards with Grossman. But the game'll just read that I only got 150, and deduct me some points. |

I'll need to play some more of my rental, because given how hard this is right now, I may not be willing to buy it. For the time being, put me down for the Giants/Jets (put me down for the Jets if someone who wants the Giants and already owns the game wants to use them).

Yeah it's pretty ridiculous, like of course I can run one dude over, but when you have the entire defensive line plowing into you it's a little bit different. |
