Dude, it's called Legends of WrestleMania, chances are the only arenas in the game will be WrestleMania venues. And tbh, I'd rather have Demolition in the game than all three teams you named, just because they have actually been a part of WrestleMania moments. It's just the name of the  ing game, it doesn't meaning anything right now. Christ, why do people think it's limited to Wrestlemania or guys who wrestled at WM? As far as we know right now, it's a legends game, thats it, thats all. Why do people think it's limited to WrestleMania? 1.) The name of the game. 2.) It's not called 'Legends of Wrestling' 3.) This is straight off of JR's Blog.
The Legends Video game that will be out in 2009 is an idea I love (we all love our own ideas) and I can’t wait to see how that one materializes. I am anxious to see it come together and be able to match the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, the Honkytonk Man, versus his cousin, Jerry "the King" Lawler…..two of the best in ring performers of any era.
I guess he confirmed that the Honky Tonk Man and Lawler will be playable wrestlers (unless hes just throwing a match up he'd want to see) which is great. Especially for the HTM!

If it was going to be the all encompassing Legends game people thing it will be, it'd be called something like 'Legends of Wrestling', 'Legends of the WWE', 'Classic Superstars', or something like that. Do you people HONESTLY expect this game to feature guys/arenas from WCCW, AWA, Jim Crockett Promotions, and the like? |

The game has WrestleMania in the title and comes out around WrestleMania. I think it's safe to assume WrestleMania is going to be a central theme of the game.

The game was just announced and yet we're all hoping and guessing. Who knows what wrestlers will be featured. It's all pure speculation for now. Regardless of the name, which doesn't mean much. Legends are in SvsR series, current guys like the Hardy Boys are being made into CS figures...why because WWE/Jakks/THQ can and know what sells.

I hope classic arenas such as Boston Garden, Maple Leaf Garden, MSG, Saturday Night's Main Event, SUPERSTARS, Wrestling Challenge, RAW 93', In Your House, and outdoor events like Milwalkee Stadium 88' and Toronto Stadium 86' make it in along with MSG WM I, Rosemont Horizon WM2, Silverdome WM III, Trump Plaza WM IV & V, Skydome WM VI etc. And I would love to see tag teams like the Killer Bee's, Nasty boys and Natural Disasters in LOWM Dude, it's called Legends of WrestleMania, chances are the only arenas in the game will be WrestleMania venues. I read your post, now before you have an orgasm on me, notice that I only pointed out that most of those arenas won't be in. And the Bees/Disasters didn't have a memorable match at 'Mania, ever. Nobody talks about their WrestleMania 'moments', because they don't have any. None of the three teams you listed have that great a chance of being in if THQ/Yuke's goes with the likely route of previous Smackdown! legends/current top draws/Biggest names signed to CS Deals for a roster. And I was always one of the 'ones' that said it was unlikely, but I wanted a legends game. |

I'd love Classic Match mode, and can actually see it being put in. And I doubt they'd add a tron to the older WM arenas, they're (hopefully) intelligent enough to know that they shouldn't be there. And before anyone says anything, WM IX did have a titantron, so it's justified that it was there in SVR06. |

I think an intresting challenge in the game should be one where you have to win all of Undertaker's 16 matches at WM. Wow how great would that be. That alone would force so many legends to be a part of that game. Cept Giant Gonzales,Mark Henry, And Albert of course. But if they were added just for that challenge alone I would accept it. Plus, they could always just change those three characters with someone better. It wouldn't be the same but I'd rather that than have those three in the game. |

Is it me or is it crazy how people are over analyzing this game before we have even seen a single screen shot. People are acting like the roster is some kind of lifetime achievement thing. I feel the way people go on kind of sucks the fun out of the game before we have seen a single screen shot or been told of a match type. If when the roster is finalized and there is no Hogan no Bret no Rock no Andre and no Austin or other legends we have had in past SD games then yes you have a reason to be pissed if they half ass the roster, but for now just wait before you get on your high horse over stuff that has not even been announce
