I'll just say that I am very much looking forward to this game, and can't wait to see how it turns out.
For fun, here are some things that would be cool to see (I'm not demanding anything or saying I wouldn't buy it without this stuff... simply having fun with the concept):
--Saturday Night's Main Event. In the first years of WrestleMania, SNME was absolutely vital to advancing storylines, since the weekly TVs were mostly jobber squash matches and there weren't PPVs every month. SNME was where the big matches happened, TV wise. Especially in season mode, it would be awesome if the legend had to work 4-5 SNME tapings over the course of the year, leading to Mania.
--The mini ring from WM3 and WM6, as others have said. That would be awesome.
--In season mode, in place of the SvR backstage altercations and in-ring interviews they show, this game could include clips of classic "incidents" to help advance a logical storyline for the character. For example, you're playing a season as Jake Roberts. Maybe one week in the summer, you show up at a Saturday Night's Main Event and DDT Ricky Steamboat on the concrete. Or if you're Hercules, halfway through the season, Bobby Heenan tries to sell you to Ted DiBiase as a slave, and you either decide to go along with it, or turn babyface.
Other classic angles they could work into season mode: --DiBiase's challenges (making a kid dribble a basketball 10 times, or do 10 push-ups, or making a woman bark like a dog, etc.) --Andre the Giant ripping Hogan's shirt and chain off on Piper's Pit, turning heel to set up WM3. --For that matter, Piper's Pit could be a central storyline part of the game, for multiple wrestlers. --Mr. Perfect destroying the WWF Title belt. --Big Bossman handcuffing opponents to the ropes and beating them with a nightstick. --Honky Tonk Man bashing people with the guitar. --"Weekend Update" news segments, like they had on Superstars in the 80s. (If they include Mean Gene in the game as a non-playable character, they'd be all set for this)
--I'd love a tournament mode, just to pay homage to WM4.

One thing id love to see them do, is like what they had with the Boogeyman in 07 and how he had the worm aftermatch segment, but with Jake Roberts, he takes out the snake and throws it on the laid out opponent. Just that would make the game great for me.

Just that would make the game great for me. Complete with wrestlers trying to get the snakes to bite them unsuccesfully? Who was that who kept trying to get the snake to bite him in the face but it wouldn't? (I legit can't remember, but it was good TV)

That happened to Jake himself during his match with Sting at Halloween Havoc 92.

The game has WrestleMania in the title and comes out around WrestleMania. I think it's safe to assume WrestleMania is going to be a central theme of the game. "Check out the big motherin' brain on you!"

Who was that who kept trying to get the snake to bite him in the face but it wouldn't? (I legit can't remember, but it was good TV) It was Roberts himself. At Halloween Havoc 1992. He wrestled sting in the first Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal match. It ended when Roberts was bitten in the face by his snake. The problem was that they gave it to many sedatives and it wouldn't bite him, so he wiggled it around over his face and basically forced it's fangs on him. But back to the game.. While I agree the whole game will likely center around Mania, that doesn't mean it will not feature anything else. It would be stupid to only feature Mania, and leave out everything else. Not just other promotions, but people are acting like none of WWE's other classic things will be in... Trust me, they'll put more things in it. The name is very simple. Mania is the biggest event every year, and the biggest even in their history. The game is also coming out right before mania... The name makes perfect sense, and still does if non mania things are in the game. The name is pure marketing, not a limiting factor of what we'll see done.

Who would use Strike Force? Seriously... But yeah, E&C and Dudleys will never be in the game, atleast not anytime soon. HEY haha, this sounds pretty cool though, I'm excited for it.

I get more excited for this game every day and I haven't even seen a screenshot. It's completely made SvsR null and void in my eyes. I can't stand playing a game with such an uninteresting roster.
I'm hoping for:
- A good compilation roster from the mid 80s to later 90s (I'd cut it off before 99-00)
- 'Classic' cutscenes (Barber Shop, Snake Pit, Funeral Parlor, Brother Love Show, Piper's Pit, etc.)
- MANAGERS/VALETS: At ringside, and accompanying you to the ring. I can't stress how much they're needed and how important they were back in the day.
- Cheesy commentary: I wonder if they can piece together commentary lines from Monsoon/Heenan/Hayes archives. I'd love to hear Monsoon worry that my CAW may have broken his lower pertubrial cortex.
- Themes I'm not too worried about since you can just load your own music at this point.
An overall classic feel...give me the red, white, and blue ropes...the big blue cage...bad storylines. I want to be thrown through the window of the Barber Shop, and I want Papa Shango to put a curse on me. I also want great matches in front of thousands. I honestly think they can pull this off.

You ever think that because maybe there was a previous game series named "Legends of Wrestling" (which included most of this likely roster) that they're trying to steer clear of that phrase thusly giving the game this one. I mean it's smart business practice. Well, apparently it still confuses people, because someone a couple of pages back thought this was a new Legends of Wrestling game. If it was going to be the all encompassing Legends game people thing it will be, it'd be called something like 'Legends of Wrestling', 'Legends of the WWE', 'Classic Superstars', or something like that. Do you people HONESTLY expect this game to feature guys/arenas from WCCW, AWA, Jim Crockett Promotions, and the like? I do. I think the WrestleMania name is just a strategy to sell the game.

I wonder who they will have for commentary. That would be awesome if they got Mean Gene, McMahon and Ventura to do it....It will probably be Jerry Lawler and JR though.
