TNA completely stopping anything gimmick-y would make it better. That womens match was a Hair vs. Hair, Battle Royal and a Ladder match all in one. You can't tell me that's good. Not at all, same MAIN problem I have with TNA lately (meaning 2006-now). - Triple S

So, are we all agreeing that if TNA turned King of the Mountain into a 5-Man Ladder Match... where the title was hung above the ring, instead of being hung up, and they kept the penalty/eligibleness (yeah, I think I made that up)... it'd be much better? - Triple S No, I think the eligibleness of it is kinda dumb...so if everyone is knocked out...the guy left, who's ineligble stand around with his thumb up his ass until someone come to...brilliant.

Well, thats when the talent and creative team would come up with a different way to approach that. I hated how Curry Man took 9 years to climb the ladder and when Kaz hit the ring... just climbed the ladder, hit Curry Man once and he took a bump... allowing Kaz to win.
Creative and the talent would then come up with a spot or something, so that it seemed like the one guy by himself isn't able to easily win.

That ending was actually really unsatisfying. Joe wins at the last minute, beating Roode? Wow, that's an exciting ending.

Off a five star scale.
Petey Williams vs Kaz This was a good choice to open the show, some good X-Division action to get the crowd pumped up. There were some great moments, such as the dives to the outside, and the finisher counters near the end. Petey was made to look strong by kicking out of the Flux Capacitor, and Kaz near the end after the pipe shot, but too much constant interference made this one a lot less than what it should have been. Keep Khan and Steiner out of it, and this would have been a full star rating higher at least. ***
Knockouts Tag Match Not going to rate, because I hardly paid attention, not a fan of this stuff. It seemed decent enough though, to at least be a good undercard addition.
Team 3D vs LAX Why couldn't they put the MCMG in Team 3D's place? 3D can still be decent, but we've seen time and time again that 3D and LAX have no chemistry in the ring, and this was no exception. This was boring, having Team 3D do the same thing with pulling the referee out of the ring, and it went on way too long, or at least it seemed to go on forever. *1/2
Jay Lethal/SoCal Val Wedding This was just garbage. They couldn't pull off this segment worth crap. They tried to portray Dutt as intimidating at first, which was a joke, and then he was made to look like a bitch, killing any heat/momentum he would have gotten from ruining the wedding. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing, and I never want to see anything like it again. 1/2*
Awesome Kong Challenge This would have been better just having the one girl challenge, because **** like this gets boring, and having the dominant champion defeat random people from the crowd doesn't really add to their toughness at all. This just took away from what could have been another real match on the show. *
AJ Styles vs Kurt Angle Kurt Angle proved me wrong with thinking his injury would make this match suck, in fact, he put on one of his best performances in the last year, as did AJ Styles. They had a great chemistry, and this dream match was almost as perfect as anyone had hoped for. Almost. Karen Angle running in near the end, screwing over Kurt, and letting AJ Styles get the win ruined the match for me. Why does every awesome match have to be ruined by interference? This could have been TNA's MOTY if they gave it a clean ending, instead of having the same old **** happen. This turns me off wanting to order PPVs from TNA. ***3/4
King of the Mountain Good brawling to start it off, with Booker T getting the first pin it added some tension, that a challenger gets it before a champion. Joe and Booker were going after each other most of the time, interesting to note. Having everyone but Joe get a pin first was great for tension. This match lacked a real high flier though, and was predictable with Joe winning. ***
Overall: Average show. It had a lot more potential than what we got. Definitely not worth spending $30.00 on, if anything, it would have been more worth it to wait for the DVD
