it by no means was a let down. love frank's brutality, both by being willing to shoot those cops (i was wondering how he'd escape the scenario) and that arms dealer, was just completely badass and painted him as the ultimate anti-hero he is. bullseye's segments, as always, were amazing...and i love his relationship with fisk. the only comic that plays like a movie in my mind.

Baltimore: The Plague Ships 1 was an excellent read, and really makes me want to buy Baltimore, or The Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire. Looking for your thoughts on this, k5.
Captain America 608 was another home run for Brubaker. He is absolute magic on this title.
Red Robin 15 was another excellent issue of the title. That's 15 consecutive issues of excellence. Nicieza hasn't missed a step taking over for Yost.
Brightest Day 7 is one of the best issues of the title so far, and the most important, because everything is finally coming together and everyone's roles are made clear.
Amazing Spider-Man 639 - Wake me up when this arc is over. Rivera's art is absolutely gorgeous though, and I really wish he was the only artist on this title.

Flash 4 - This series is still pretty much amazing
Green Lantern 56 - Good issue, the stuff was Hammond was cool, also it's great to see Larfleeze back.
Green Lantern Corps 50 - Not bad, the background story stuff with Cyborg Supes was nice to see.
Secret Avengers 3 - Great issue, can't wait to read the next one though since the preview image in the back of the comic looked awesome.
Haunt 8 - Pretty good, I don't feel like a ton happened but hopefully it is slowly building up to something big.

Possibly my favorite thing about Flash so far is the use of Digger. I never thought I'd give a **** about Captain Boomerang, but man, he is too cool since being resurrected.

Haunt 8 - Pretty good, I don't feel like a ton happened but hopefully it is slowly building up to something big. they rushed into the action in haunt too quickly without building the plot properly so they kinda took the fall for that in the last 2-3 issues explaining whatsup. i think the next arc with be a bit more properly orchestrated and enticing.

I, Zombie 4 - Another great issue, glad they finally solved the first murder and learning more about what Gwen is was really cool. Secret Six 24 - Good issue, the whole time jump thing is kinda weird though. Also is it bad that I only recently found out that Gail Simone is doing the story? For some reason I never thought she would be doing a story like this because she was so famous for doing things like Wonder Woman and this is the total opposite. Brightest Day 7 - Holy , this issue was amazing and pretty insane. I can't wait to see what is going to happen in the upcoming issues and my faith is now 400% restored in this series. Captain American 608 - Awesome issue, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE TRAIL OF CAPTAIN AMERICA TO START ALREADY. Captain America: Forever Allies 1 - Not a good issue at all, I couldn't care for the story any less than I did, the art wasn't great and I can't say I'll be picking up any more of these issues. Avengers Prime 2 - Another great issue, I like how they're showing that there are consequences for Asgard being moved to Earth. Also the art is so ing good, Alan Davis is amazing Amazing Spider-Man 639 - This arc reminds me of Batman Odyssey, the art is good but man the story is pretty boring.

shadowland 2 - great, compelling story. really cool to see daredevil take a true 'fall from grace' from his position of morality. iron fist and cage are well written as well, i'm interested to see where this goes and how daredevil plans to take on the most elite superheroes.
shadowland: bullseye - absolute shit, i was hoping for some good here. not interested in some kid haunted by bullseye, that's intellectually- disabled.

So I read Kick-Ass again, after watching the movie last night and not wanting to watch it again so soon but still wanting more Kick-Ass I decided that I should read this again and it was still really great even the second time around. But there are so many things in this book that I wish happened in the movie and they didn't change. I really hope Millar starts working on Kick-Ass 2 if he isn't already because I really can't wait to read it because the end to that comic is still just so awesome.

He's working on it. Recently he said Red Mist becomes Mother F*cker, and, in the movie at least, he hires a russian chick to kill Hit Girl (who is being out of the superhero life now and living with Marcus) and inspires a bunch of people to become villains. I really hope the sequel gets greenlit. The book is definitely happening.

Mother er is such a great villain name. I do have to say one thing I liked a lot in the movie more than the book was the inclusion of Marcus because I thought he was a cool character in the movie and just putting him in at the end of the comic saying he married Hit Girl's Mom was just kinda lame.

Romita Jr said that initially, Red Mist would become The C*nt, and that's why at the end of the book you see those weird hair like things coming out his costume, hahahaha.

read baltimore: the black ships 1 and it is ing awesome, i love the one art on the page where the witch grandmother is warning her grandaughter that this lord baltimore walks with death. the opening action scene is also really well done, awesome how those demons try to escape into that blimp. mignola doesn't let me down. enticing finish, love the direction, very exciting.
