Avengers 7 - Didn't mean to get this issue but I'm kinda glad I did, they're done with the time travel stuff and now they're moving onto a guy who is going after the gems from the Infinity Gauntlet which could turn out to be cool.
Green Lantern 59 - Pretty good, I'm interested to see what happens with Parallax and Flash.
Green Lantern Corps 54 - Really liking this Weaponer story so far.
Batman 704 - Better than the last issue but still nothing too great.
Streets of Gotham 16 - Not a fan of it
Sreets of Gotham 17 - Becoming less and less intrested in this Hush story.
Flash 6 - I still really like this comic, this issue was great and I can't wait for the next.
Brightest Day 14 - SO GOOD, best issue in awhile, all the stuff with Boston was great.
Haunt 11 - Another very good issue, and Hurg continues to be a cool villain

isn't it strange how hurg is so damn similar to mason savoy from chew?
i read vertigo: resurrected. it's different stories from various renowned writers and artists. grant morrison and frank quitely created a fantastic short story from the perspective of a toy soldier and his travelings. it's SO good.
'the kapas' was a really good short story as well. check it out ppl!

Read The Walking Dead's first installment. Frickin' incredible. WAY better than the already amazing show. I love how the little bot is such a badass. worth the $10

a sickness in the family i swear the writers over at vertigo comics are competing for who can create the most ed up plots and scenarios known to graphic novels yet...and don't get me wrong, a lot of it is gold. such is the case for a sickness in the family, a crime novel that makes you feel grim and gritty in your stomach at seeing such a psychopathic, deranged family that once were happy and loving. now only the adopted son of the three offspring appears to have turned out properly, aiding his grandmother daily who had a stroke and mysteriously fell a number of feet. now, people in the house are being attacked, and why (possibly the children trying to inherit their father's wealth?!) or who (possibly a witch who was murdered where the house stands?!?!?!?!) is unknown. i'll just say that the plot twist in this one is amazing, any short comings of the book are redeemed by an ending that is not easily forgotten.

bullet to the head #1 fun crime graphic novel, well written and excellent character expression. seems to be really heating up properly too. usual deal of corruption, goes from the side of two hitmen, and one special agent officer trying to figure out a string of crimes and how they all tie together. a bonus is that it says a clear ' YOU!' to the comic authorities of ratings, as on the very back it has it's own dynamite labeling of 'mature' and has a warning: 'not approved by the comics code' frank miller would be proud.

I'm reading my way through the Marvel Ultimate universe based on a chronological list I found (thanks to TRW's suggestion years back based on info I provided). I have a Marvel Digital Comics subscription so I read at least 10 issues a day and am almost through with the ones that have been uploaded. Thinking about going and reading every single Amazing Spider-man once I finish...but that will take a lot of time.

boys 50th issue.
a little bit of a letdown, however still big events shook down in this issue. wondering where butcher is going to go on this one, and also what homelander's next order in his plan is.
really want the story to start boiling, but i guess you can't force a story's development.
