"I knew Benoit". No you didn't you just got some stuff signed from him, gee i got my Benoit DVD signed from him and he asked me how i was and i said im fine thanks for the signed dvd, i look forward to more great matches from you. he said thanks and that its a pleasure to wrestle infront of so many people. It looks like i knew him too..........Not. LOL. Yeah, that's a pretty ridiculous statement to make. To come on here and say that he knew Chris Benoit. Pretty ridiculous indeed. I mean, there are guys like Steve Blackman for example, who knew Chris Benoit for over 20 years and that is certainly alot longer than this TommyHyland46 goof claims to have known him. And in those 20 years that Steve Blackman knew Chris, it turns out that he didn't really know him in the end because he didn't know the evil, twisted, sadistic side of Chris Benoit. And if he didn't know, then there's not a chance in this world that some mark like TommyHyland46 who met Benoit the odd time and got his prescious figures signed, could ever possibly have known him. You'd think an apparent "Major in College" would come to the conclusion and realize that, but nope. I guess he isn't nearly as smart as he'd like to think he is. ;D He said he knew him better than all of us in this forum, which is right. If you read his story in page 3, you'll notice it.

^ Still a ridiculous claim to make. Any of us could have met Chris Benoit before and say the same friggin' thing. That's as far as he knew Chris Benoit. Just the few odd times he met him, probably for a few minutes each time.
Now I ask you. Does that sound like you really get to know someone, by doing that?? Give me a break...
I'd take Blackman's 20 years over this mark's ANY day of the week.

Mr old school is right, theres alot of fans who meet Benoit, i meet him twice and i must have spoken to him atleast 10 mins altogether and yeah he seemed nice but it dosen't really mean anything, because i didn't know the real Chris Benoit, the Benoit i meet was the wrestler.
Anyway my only problem with the Tommy post is that he seemed to claim he really knew the real Benoit, which of course he didn't.
And it might just be me and Old School but we don't understand his admiration(after knowing what he did) for Benoit. the Sig he has of him meeting Benoit is very odd, its like he is prond of it.
Its alright being a fan of him before that day in June, but after seems a bit strange to me.

TommyHyland46 could you please remove that god awful picture of you and that savage monster out of your sig please, because it's making me feel very poorly? No, i have a right to display it and I am getting very very offended at the way you are treating me and the names and insults directed towards him. Honestly, i wish this would get locked since no one can seem to have a civil debate on this anymore. It's turned simply offensive and i'm sick of being treated like crapfor opinion based on personal experience and being told it is wrong..
