RIP Chris, Nancy, and Daniel.
I don't care what anybodies says, I still love Benoit for what he did in that ring. He was the greatest of his time and possibly of all time. Wrestling lost a true great that weekend.

I don't understand why you people hate on Benoit, his brain was the same as a 64 year old man with Alzheimer's. He also wasn't the 1st person to have such bad brain damage it led for him to snap, it happened to two former football players . Also we don't have to worry about him burning in hell since hell is just made up like God.

A lot has changed within the last year, that's for sure.
Much like Eddie's death, I remember where I was when I read the news and just how sad the whole situation was at the time.
There is no excuse for what Chris Benoit did to his wife and son over the span of that weekend, but let's just hope that we can move on from this incident and that nothing similar would ever happen again.

It doesn't feel like it has been a year, it really doesn't. I remember this day like none other. It was like shock and disbelief when I heard he was dead. I remember sitting there watching RAW, making sure my DVR would record it so I could go back and watch it multiple times and crying during RAW and then after RAW, reading everything that started coming out about this, about how he did it, and just telling myself it couldn't be true, and just being in denial that one of my favorite wrestlers could do this. I had to delete the RAW from my DVR because of not even wanting to remember it at all. I almost stopped watching wrestling because I felt every time I would talk to somebody about wrestling, Benoit's tragedy would always get brought up. R.I.P. Nancy, Chris and Daniel.

To say something like that about a person that you personally knew nothing about is just sick. so well , can i saw rip ted bundy yes or no I think with Ted Bundy and serial killers thats all they did in their life before that they hadnt really been famous or done anything worthwhile. I think with Benoit the reason some people dont condem him totally is because up until the final day of his life he brought alot of joy and happyness into the world through his wrestling ability and the matches he put on. For me I simply cant overlook what he didnt to his wife and son and appreciate his wrestling abilty anymore but others seem to be able to do that. Benoit was a trouble man who needed phyciatric help, he didnt get it and snapped. You can never justify what he did but we can look at reasons why such as strees, brain damage etc. |
