Today is the day he actually killed his wife. Would've killed his kid and himself a year ago tomorrow and the bodies were discovered on the 25th. At least I think that's the timeline the police agreed on. |

I don't understand why you people hate on Benoit, his brain was the same as a 64 year old man with Alzheimer's. He also wasn't the 1st person to have such bad brain damage it led for him to snap, it happened to two former football players . Also we don't have to worry about him burning in hell since hell is just made up like God. I agree with you on everything but that statement. That may be your opinion, but it's a wrong one. Why on Earth would I want a freaking' child murderer to rest in peace?? Still saying this guy was a hero and showing praise to him after what he did is  ing disgusting more like it. The only two who I hope rest in peace are Nancy & Daniel. I cannot feel sympathy for Chris after what he did. None what-so-ever. And if that makes me a bad person for not feeling sorry for a friggin' child murderer, then too bad. Deal with it. |

I'm just going to say R.I.P. to Daniel and Nancy Benoit because in my mind, Chris doesn't deserve to be remembered after what he did. There should be a tribute pic of Nancy and Daniel, not the murderer. They are the victims here, not him. Well thank you for your opinion of what he does and doesn't deserve....that changes everything! Anyway, It's pretty crazy that it's been a year. Still seems so recent. Regardless of what others feel of Benoit, i've posted my story of him before, hoping to show those that didn't know him at all, a little bit about it. I'm not claiming to be his best friend, like people accuse me of, i simply got to know him better than the average wrestling fan. I have a long story about meeting him but the short of it is, Vin (WF Member) made them and Benoit liked them so much that he had his agent give me a card and said to make a 2 pack of him as Pegasus Kid and Eddie as Tiger Mask and give it to him the next time he was in town. So Vin made the 2 pack which i gave to benoit (benoit signed every item i had, about 20, and said he'd mail me something for my time). This is November 2006 that i gave him the figures. The friday before the infamous occurrences in Georgia, his agent emailed me and apologized for it taking so long and benoit just informed him to send me whatever it was benoit was sending. Then everything happened and i was sure i'd never see anything. That monday after, i get a package from WWE C/O Chris Benoit and it is an ECW one night stand event chair.  This is Benoit the second time i met him and gave him the figures he requested. He was teary eyed looking at them. I'm guessing they brought backa lot of memories and he was surprised i actually came and met him a second time and brought those to him. I initially met him in December 2005 (my sig) and then again here in November 2006, so there was a long time span there. He was truly the nicest wrestler i've ever met. I was at the front of the line giving him the figures and talking to him about them and he was signing a ton of stuff for me, he was just so happy with them, and someone bitched that it was only a 2 hour session and i'd been at the front of the line for nearly ten minutes. and beniot told his agent to get up an announce that any time taken right now would be made up and the session would officially start when him and I were done, so he stayed like 30 minutes longer to get everyone through even though i took about 10 minutes right at the beginning. (signings was 6-8, he signed 6:10-8:45, the first ten minutes being talking to me) He signed 1 magazine "Thank you for the figures. They will be on the wall in my office forever - Chris Benoit"  My WWE World Heavyweight Title Version 1 he signed "Chris Benoit Wrestlemania XX World Heavyweight Champion"   (Chris Benoit as the Pegasus Kid)  |

Well, I am disgusted as anyone by what Chris did to his kid and his wife. I watched those wrestlers, one by one all of them, devastated by his death. Imagine how they all felt after they found out the truth, that it was a murder-suicide!!! However, I am not going to act like the WWE and act like Chris' contributions to the world of pro wrestling never existed either. I met him once and he was very nice. I had no inkling he had this in him.
It is a tragedy. RIP the entire Benoit Family.

There are moments that come to your mind when you think of someone. When I think of Austin I think of him stunning someone. When I think of the Rock I think of him doing the People's Eyebrow. When I think of Hogan I picture him slamming Andre. When I think of Benoit I will always think of him killing his wife and his kid.

But I do know, for someone that viciously strangles their wife and 7 year-old son to death like Chris Benoit did, they don't deserve anything. Everything is out the window when you murder your own child. And I can't believe you would actually want to show your pic with that sick whacko. A child killer is worse than a ing pedophile, I hope you realize that. Just looking at that creep makes me want to puke. |
