I really like your format. Very happy Ted and Mike went over, I love them as a team. I really liked the Burke/Danielson match, it gives both men time to shine and I am sure it would have been a classic. I love the Mean Street Posse, though I have no idea what kind of shape the three men are in at this time. I like RVD making the safe at the end. I like James going over, she should be the top diva, in my opinion. Jericho/Rey was a solid match and I love how this continued HBK/Jericho. The main event was decent, seemed a little clustered though. Overall, solid show.

September 2nd, 2008 - Pittsburgh, PA. [Cue Music] The opening ECW video played before Tazz and Mike Adamle welcomed us to the show. The two hyped tonights main event which is a Championship Scramble qualifying match between John Morrison and Evan Bourne! Jamie Noble defeated Chavo Guerrero, Shannon Moore, Jimmy Wang Yang and Super Crazy to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Title. We kicked things off with a bang as the cruiserweights took to the ring for an exciting contest. This was a Cruiserweight Scramble as Unforgiven is this Sunday except the match didn't last twenty minutes but had a time limit of ten. Each man held the title atleast once, but Noble was able to retain when he hit Crazy with the Tiger Bomb and pinned him with three seconds remaining. COMMERCIAL BREAKLena Yada was backstage with the confident duo that is The Miz and John Morrison. The duo seemed pretty confident that John Morrison would be advancing tonight into the Championship Scramble. The Miz said that Kofi Kingston scored a lucky win over him and that's why he lost last week. Tommy Dreamer defeated Ron Truth. This match was a so-so match to be perfectly honest. Ron Truth had control in the early going, but the crowd rallied Dreamer on which urged Dreamer on and he took control after a Scrapbuster onto Truth. Ron looked to take control a few moments later, but one Dreamer Driver later and the match was over. [Cue Music] Dreamer celebrated in the ring afterwards as the crowd cheered him on. Dreamer worked the crowd at ringside as we cut backstage. Lena Yada interviewed the current ECW Champion The Big Show backstage. The Big Show had his ECW Title slung over his shoulder. He told Yada that he doesn't care if he's got to defend against four men or fourty men because he WILL leave Cleveland, Ohio still the ECW Champion. Yada went on to talk about how Tommy Dreamer has the fans behind him and that's ought to be a deciding factor. Show told Yada that Tommy Dreamer may be the heart and soul of ECW and have the crowd support, but that's never stopped the larges athlete in the world. COMMERCIAL BREAK[Cue Music] Tazz and Mike Adamle run down the full Unforgiven card and tell us to order it now as it'll be a show to remember. John Morrison (w/ The Miz) defeated Evan Bourne. Morrison and Miz do their usual flashy, slow-mo entrance before Bourne comes out from the back. There's internet smarks everywhere drooling at just the thought of this one. Both men counter everything at first, but Morrison takes control when The Miz trips Bourne up. After Morrison missed a Standing Shooting Star Press, Bourne took control and hit some unorthadox moves including a beautiful Springboard Tornado DDT. Bourne went for the Shooting Star Press but ate nothing but canvas when Morrison rolled out of harms way. Morrison was quick to hit Bourne with the Moonlight Drive and secure a spot in the Championship Scramble at Unforgiven. [Cue Music] John Morrison celebrated in the ring with his tag team partner The Miz as the crowd showered the duo with boos.

Friday Night SmackDown Preview: September 5th, 2008On the final stop before we reach Unforgiven, the SmackDown locker room will be in action to provide the WWE Universe with fantastic wrestling action. In the main event, Matt and Jeff Hardy will team up just days before they square off in a fatal four way for the United States Title which will also pit Carlito and his brother Primo in the contest. The Hardy Brothers will team up to take on Edge and Umaga, who formed some sort of alliance this past week on SmackDown. The current reigning WWE Tag Team Champions, Finlay and Sheamus lost to the young duo of Nic Nemeth and Kenny Dykstra last week after Rob Terry, Nemeth and Dykstra's bodyguard, clocked Finlay with his own shillelagh before Nemeth hit his finishing move and got the pinfall. This week on SmackDown the tag champs will take on Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder who are a team out on the hunt for gold and have come close many times. The Brian Kendrick turned his back on his former tag team partner Paul London a few weeks back and they were set to lock horns this past week on SmackDown. But Ezekiel Jackson, Brian Kendrick's "main man", stepped in before the bell and manhandled Paul London before Kendrick made the cover. This week on SmackDown, The Brian Kendrick teams with the sultry Maryse to take on Paul London and Maria in a mixed tag team match. RAW's Candice Michelle will be in action as she takes on SmackDown's WWE Divas Champion Natalya in a non-title match. Natalya has been upset at the fact Candice pinned her two weeks ago on RAW in a tag team match. Will Natalya get a measure of revenge, or will Candice pin the Divas Champion again? All of this and more this week on SmackDown. Don’t miss SmackDown, Friday September 5 at 8/7 CT, exclusively on MyNetwork TV.

Love the cruiser title being defended on ECW, it seems like a natural fit. The Predator? Wonder what's up with that. Dreamer over Truth is meh, I feel like Truth is a lot better. Unforgiven could be a good time to get the belt off of Show. Good main event to end the show, solid overall.

September 5th, 2008 - Pittsburgh, PA. [Cue Music] The SmackDown intro plays followed by Mick Foley and Jim Ross welcoming us to the show. In a side note, the SmackDown theme is no longer "Last Man Standing" by Hammerfall. Shelton Benjamin defeated Colt Cabana. We kicked things off with Shelton Benjamin taking on ECW's Colt Cabana in a truly fantastic opening contest. Cabana had the crowd behind him and Shelton done all he could to get alot of heat from the Pittsburgh crowd. Cabana out wrestled Shelton at one point which left Shelton enraged which led to him having a vicious streak for the remainder of the contest. It wasn't long before Shelton hit the Paydirt and this one was all over. COMMERCIAL BREAKVickie Guerrero was shown in her office with Chavo Guerrero and Edge by her side. Vladimir Kozlov barged into the room and asked Vickie why she replaced him last week in the qualifying match for the Championship Scramble. Vickie told Vladimir that he wasn't here last week and she couldn't hold it off. Edge grins before telling Vickie something to which Vickie smirks. Vickie books The Undertaker vs. Vladimir Kozlov for tonight. Edge then tells Kozlov that when he reclaims his World Heavyweight Title at Unforgiven he will give Kozlov a shot at the title if he can injure The Undertaker tonight. The Brian Kendrick was shown swaggering around backstage with Ezekiel Jackson standing next to him. Kendrick said tonight he's going to beat Paul London once again. The ever so sexy Maryse approached Kendrick and asked if he was ready. Kendrick looked at Maryse from head to toe before smiling. The trio head down the hall as we cut to a commercial. COMMERCIAL BREAKThe Brian Kendrick and Maryse (w/ Ezekiel Jackson) defeated Paul London and Maria. Surprisingly this was a really good match. The duo of Maryse and Kendrick are extremely entertaining to watch due to their cocky attitudes. London really wanted a piece of Kendrick and was doing anything he could to get ahold of him. At one point Kendrick ran out of the ring and hid behind Ezekiel. London dived off the top rope onto both Ezekiel and Kendrick but Ezekiel caught him before ramming him into the ringpost. While this was going on Maryse planted Maria with the French Kiss for the victory. [Cue Music] Maryse, Kendrick and Jackson headed up the ramp together as we cut to another commercial. COMMERCIAL BREAKEve Torres was backstage with Nic Nemeth and Kenny Dykstra who had their bodyguard Rob Terry with them. Nemeth said he just got back from Vickie Guerrero's office and since him and Dykstra beat Finlay and Sheamus last week they earned themselves a title shot for next week. Finlay and Sheamus defeated Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder. This was a fairly good match-up on tonight's edition of SmackDown, Finlay and Sheamus managing to overcome the former proteges of the 'Rated R Superstar', Edge. Ryder and Hawkins got in a few shots, working over the body of Finlay, before Sheamus came in. All hell broke loose with all four members of the match, Finlay nailing the Celtic Cross on Ryder for the win! [Cue Music] Finlay and Sheamus celebrate in the ring as we see Nic Nemeth and Kenny Dykstra on a split screen watching them celebrate. COMMERCIAL BREAK[Cue Music] Mick Foley and Jim Ross welcome us back to SmackDown before they run down the current Unforgiven card. The duo then hype tonights tag team main event which will pit The Hardy Boyz, Matt and Jeff Hardy against the new alliance which was formed between Edge and Umaga! Also, The Undertaker takes on Vladimir Kozlov. [Cue Music] The current WWE Divas Champion, Natalya comes out from the back to a shower of boos. She comes down the ramp and retrieves a microphone before calling out RAW's Candice Michelle. [Cue Music] Candice Michelle comes out and does the usual ring apron robe opening. Candice Michelle defeated Natalya. Candice looked pretty uncomfortable out there which lead to her making a few botches, but apart from the botches this match was pretty decent. Natalya wanted to prove that Candice's win over her on RAW two weeks ago was a fluke so she done all her big moves. Out of nowhere Candice hit Natalya with the Candywrapper for the one, two, three. [Cue Music] Candice celebrated her win as Natalya looked shocked inside the ring. Natalya began to argue with the referee that it was a three count while Candice motioned that she's coming for her title. COMMERCIAL BREAKEve Torres was backstage with Triple H. The interview was all about Triple H talking about the Championship Scramble for the WWE Championship at Unforgiven. The Undertaker defeated Vladimir Kozlov. (Disqualification) Kozlov was relentless out there tonight as he picked The Undertaker apart. The Undertaker put up a fight and hit some big moves on Kozlov including a big boot but Kozlov got up and quickly nailed a powerslam. The Undertaker took momentum once again and looked to hit Kozlov with the Old School but Kozlov caught him and hit a powerslam but was only able to get a two count. Undertaker began to fire back with a series of left and rights and hit Kozlov with a Chokeslam but Kozlov kicked out. 'Taker tossed Kozlov off the ropes but received a vicious headbutt from The Moscow Mauler. Kozlov went for the pin but only got a two count. This enraged Kozlov who then assaulted the referee, thus ending the match via disqualification. Undertaker attacked Kozlov and hit him with a Chokeslam before rolling his eyes to the back of his head as the arena lights turn blue. COMMERCIAL BREAKThe current United States Champion, Carlito was shown backstage with his younger brother Primo Colon and his girlfriend Rosa Mendes. Carlito asked Primo if he knows the plan for Unforgiven to which Primo told him yes. Carlito and Rosa head off together as Primo stares at Carlito's United States Title. Edge and Umaga (w/ Armando Estrada) defeated Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy. Edge and Umaga surprisingly worked extremely well together as a unit. Matt and Jeff tagged each other in and out reguarly to keep them both fresh. Umaga hit some vicious shots to Jeff, and began to launch him around the ring. Jeff made the hot tag to Matt who cleared the ring of both Edge and Umaga before hitting The Samoan Bulldozer with the Twist of Fate. Jeff came leaping from the top rope and hit the Swanton Bomb onto Umaga and Matt made the cover. The referee began the count but Armando Estrada got onto the apron. Matt pulled Estrada over the rope and was about to hit him as the crowd cheered Hardy on. Edge speared Jeff Hardy down before Rosa Mendes came from the back and tried to get into the ring. Carlito slid into the ring and clocked Matt with the United States Title before Umaga hit the Samoan Spike while Estrada crawled to safety. Umaga made the cover and got the three count. [Cue Music] Umaga celebrates in the ring with Armando Estrada as Edge brushes his hair away from his face. The camera focuses on Carlito and Rosa Mendes, who are both at the top of the ramp. Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy are both sprawled out on the mat as we come to a close.

-Good that Shelton won, better to see Colt get in some good offense -Very Edge-like to give Kozlov a shot if he hurts 'Taker -Agreed, Maryse is ever so sexy Glad her & Kendrick won -Having the Champs win the non-title match made sense. Loving the team of Kenny & Nicky -Hate that Candice beat Natalya, but I don't like Natalya losing at all -Good to end 'Taker/Kozlov in a DQ, glad 'Taker stood tall though -Like Primo staring at the US Title, but please don't have him win -Great ending to promote the US Title & World Title matches at Unforgiven Great show again, this is easily one of, if not my favorite current diary

WWE NEWS + NOTES Reported by Daniel Smyth on September 6, 2008 - 2:22pm
- The Mean Street Posse returned to RAW a few weeks back to aid Shane McMahon in his feud with Rob Van Dam. It's well known that Vince McMahon isn't high on the trio as he feels they are completely out of shape but the main reason they were brought back is Shane pushed for them to be brought back as they are childhood friends of his. It's not expected for The Posse to stay around permanently but if they do then don't be surprised to see them job.
- It's expected that several releases are on the horizon. D'Lo Brown, Hardcore Holly, Jim Duggan, Robbie McAllister, Rory McAllister, Snitsky, Chuck Palumbo and Festus among others are the more likely ones to be cut. Management were originally high on the team of Jesse and Festus but that has changed and it's believed they are looking to push Jesse over Festus.
- Victoria squashed all the internet rumours of her retiring anytime soon on Friday night. You can read the blog in its entireity here.
- There has been several FCW talent touring with RAW and SmackDown/ECW as of late. Nikki Bella, Jayden Jeter and Lawrence Knight have been touring with the RAW roster. Knight teamed with Paul Burchill and William Regal n six person tag team matches for the week while Nikki Bella tagged with Mickie James to take on Beth Phoenix and Jillian. Jeter worked with Lance Cade, Elijah Burke and Cody Rhodes throughout the week. On the SmackDown/ECW shows three other FCW talent toured. Brie Bella, Gavin Spears and Hade Vansen worked the weeks shows. Brie Bella tagged with Michelle McCool and Kelly Kelly to work with Maryse, Layla and Natalya. Spears worked with Evan Bourne throughout the week and Vansen picked up a series of wins throughout the week over Colin Delaney and Nunzio. It's not planned for Brie and Nikki Bella to go to different brands when they are called up but it was done so that when they do debut fans will not reliase they're twins until it's unveiled as the fans who attended the RAW shows are led to believe Nikki is the only time and SmackDown/ECW fans are led to believe that Brie is the twin.
- Randy Orton conducted an interview with the UK newspaper The Sun. In the interview Orton said he had done some voice work for the latest SmackDown vs. RAW videogame early last month and that he is hoping to return to the ring by November. You can read the full interview here.
- Gail Kim continues to linger between signing a contract with the WWE and with TNA. It's more likely for the Canadian Diva to sign with WWE.
- Gail Kim isn't the only TNA Superstar that the WWE has their eyes on. Apparently the company have sent an offer to Christian Cage to sign a contract. A rumour emerged last week that Samoa Joe was offered a contract but he shot them down.

September 7th, 2008 - Cleveland, OH. [Cue Music] Pyro erupts at the top of the stage before each commentator team welcome us to the show. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler of RAW hyped the RAW side of things. Tazz and Mike Adamle of ECW hyped the ECW action. Jim Ross and Mick Foley ran down the SmackDown side of things before we got underway. Carlito w/ Rosa Mendes defeated Primo Colon, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy to retain the WWE United States Championship. We kicked things off with the SmackDown side of things. Although this was a fatal four way match, The Hardy Brothers worked together and The Colons worked together which made the match more like a tornado tag. Carlito and Primo were quick to dump Matt Hardy out of the ring and work over Jeff Hardy. The two hit some unique double team moves and stomped away at The Charismatic Enigma. Out of nowhere, Jeff hit the Whisper In The Wind onto Primo before taking Carlito down. Primo hit Jeff with a Tornado DDT but only got a two count when Carlito pulled Primo off and began to argue with him. Matt Hardy looked to take the pinfall over Carlito with a roll-up while he was arguing with Primo, but Primo was able to stop the count. Jeff tackled Primo to the mat and the two rolled around, swinging punches. Matt set Carlito up for the Twist of Fate but Carlito shoved him away and Matt ran into a shoe in the face from Rosa Mendes. Matt stumbled backwards into the Backstabber and Carlito got the three. [Cue Music] Carlito wastes no time in running up the ramp with his United States Title with Rosa Mendes closely behind with Primo. Matt Hardy looks around in disbelief with blood pouring from the side of his face from were Rosa's heel hit him. Eve Torres was backstage with Lance Cade and Chris Jericho. Cade told Eve that he's going to walk all over Bryan Danielson just like he did on RAW a few weeks back and get Chris Jericho the final spot in the WWE Championship Championship Scramble tonight. Jericho cuts a good promo on Shawn Michaels, telling him that their feud is only over when he says it is. Lance Cade defeated Bryan Danielson. The crowd couldn't have really given two ****s about this one and saw this as the piss break of the evening. Cade and Danielson did put on a pretty decent match. Preset match stipulations banned Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho from ringside and if either Cade or Danielson were to cheat to win then the victory would be reversed. Danielson hit some wicked moves that wowed the crowd and left Cade in shock. Cade went for a clothesline but Danielson ducked and sweeped Cade before attempting to apply the Cattle Mutiliation, but Cade quickly rolled out of the ring to alot of boos from the crowd. Cade interacted with a few fans at ringside before turning around and receiving Bryan Danielson diving through the middle rope onto Cade. Danielson through Cade into the ring and went up top and dived off the top, looking to connect with a Shawn Michaels-esque Diving Elbow but Cade got out of harms way. When Danielson got up he turned around and walked into a violent Lariat from Lance Cade. [Cue Music] Lance Cade celebrated at ringside with his victory as Danielson lay on the mat. Chris Jericho came out from the back and joined Cade at the top of the ramp. The two celebrated as we cut backstage. John Morrison was shown putting on his coat before we see Tommy Dreamer taping up his wrists. Eve Torres interviews The Big Show about the ECW Championship Scramble. The ECW announce team hype the ECW Championship Scramble match before a video rolls, hyping the contest. Tommy Dreamer defeated The Big Show, John Morrison, Jake Hager and Kofi Kingston to win the ECW Championship. This match could and should have been alot better than it was actually. The Big Show and Tommy Dreamer really brought the match quality down as Kofi Kingston, Jake Hager and John Morrison are all young guys with bright, bright futures ahead of them. Dreamer and Hager started things off and Hager was able to become the temporary ECW Champion when he hit Dreamer with the Red, White and Blue Thunder bomb. After five minutes John Morrison hit the ring and him and Hager quickly double teamed Dreamer. Hager hit Dreamer with the Red, White and Blue Thunder Bomb while Morrison taunted the crowd. Morrison then surprised Hager with a Spinning Heel Kick before he hit a Standing Shooting Star Press to become the new temporary ECW Champion. Hager and Morrison battled it out with Hager soon reclaiming the temporary position of ECW Champion. After five minutes Kofi Kingston joined the mix, unleashing his moveset on all three men. Kofi hit Hager with the Trouble In Paradise to become the temporary ECW Champion. While Kofi was celebrating, The Big Show entered and immediantly hit Kofi with a stiff shot before making the cover with his foot to become the new temporary ECW Champion. From there on The Big Show remained the temporary champion. Morrison, Dreamer, Kingston and Hager reliased the only way to topple Show was to work together, so they did and were able to dump him outside the ring. Dreamer then hit the Dreamer Driver onto Kofi to become the new temporary ECW Champion. Dreamer was able to remain the temporary champion for the remaining time. [Cue Music] Tommy Dreamer fell to his knees as he was handed the ECW Championship by the referee. Dreamer celebrated in the crowd with the title belt. Shane McMahon was shown backstage warming up when his cellphone rings. He answers it and he begins to nod. Shane asks if "they know the plan" before he hangs up and begins warming up again. Rob Van Dam defeated Shane McMahon. Shane McMahon enters first without The Mean Street Posse and the crowd shower him with heel heat. Rob Van Dam enters next to a thunderous ovation from the crowd. Almost as soon as the bell rings, weapons are brought into play. Both men put on a fantastic display on athletisicm, especially Van Dam. Shane raked the eyes of Van Dam before beating him down with a trashcan. Rob Van Dam took control when he hit a spinkick to Shan'e temple. The Mean Street Posse came running down the ramp and attacked Rob Van Dam. Shane and The Posse stomp away at RVD until the music of Vince McMahon hits and the chairman comes down to the ring. He tosses his jacket away before getting into the ring and knocks each member of The Posse down. Vince goes after Shane and Shane dares him to hit him. Vince lashes out and cracks Shane across the face, leaving Shane stunned. Van Dam takes Shane down with a Springboard Dropkick before finishing him off with the Five Star Frog Splash. [Cue Music] Rob Van Dam celebrates in the ring with Vince McMahon as Shane McMahon lies on the mat. The Mean Street Posse begin to recover, each of them clutching their heads. Vince and RVD hug each other as we cut backstage. Vickie Guerrero was shown in her office with Edge who is pacing the office. Umaga enters with Armando Estrada and Edge grins. Armando says that Edge and Umaga were unstoppable on SmackDown and he predicts big things for them. The SmackDown announce team hype the World Heavyweight Championship Scramble match before a video rolls, hyping the contest. The Undertaker defeated Edge, Triple H, Shelton Benjamin and Umaga w/ Armando Estrada to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H and Shelton Benjamin kick off the Scramble and it isn't long before HHH pins Benjamin after a Pedigree. Umaga enters the ring and immediantly goes after Triple H. Both Umaga and HHH feuded throughout August, so there's alot of tension between them. Umaga pinned Triple H after the Samoan Spike. The Undertaker was next out and by the time he made it to the ring, there was only a minute on the timer for the next competitor. When 'Taker got into the ring, he took everyone out, including Triple H. He pinned Shelton after a Tombstone Piledriver. Edge was the final competitor and he immediantly began to work with Umaga to take down Shelton Benjamin, The Undertaker and Triple H. When Umaga and Edge were beating away at 'Taker, Shelton hit HHH with the Paydirt to become the temporary World Heavyweight Champion. Umaga hit 'Taker with the Samoan Spike before Edge low blowed Umaga and made the cover!! Armando Estrada was left in shock as Umaga clutched his balls. Umaga and Edge sparked a brawl that just left The Undertaker, Triple H and Shelton Benjamin in the ring. The Undertaker dumped HHH over the ropes with a clothesline before Shelton hit Undertaker with a Superkick. Shelton stood above Undertaker and taunted him before 'Taker wrapped his legs around Shelton and locked him in the Gogoplata!! Benjamin quickly tapped and 'Taker became the temporary World Heavyweight Champion. The timer reached zero and The Undertaker was still the champion. [Cue Music] The Undertaker goes down on one knee and rolls his eyes to the back of his head as the arena lights turn blue. Victoria was shown walking down the hallway with Stevie Richards directly behind her. Eve Torres approaches them and asks Victoria about her Womens Title match against Mickie James. Victoria laughs before looking at Eve up and down and telling her she is so pretty and that's what the crowd want. They want to see tits and ass and not Victoria. Victoria runs her hands through Eve's hair before moving on with Richards. Victoria w/ Stevie Richards defeated Mickie James to win the WWE Womens Championship. Mickie James came out to a great ovation while Victoria and Stevie got a mixed reaction. In a side note, Victoria came out to her old "All The Things She Said" theme. Both ladies are two of the best under contract right now and they showed that they can both hold their own as they put on a fantastic back and forth contest. Stevie Richards tripped Mickie at one point and the referee ejected him. This distracted Victoria who turned around into a Spin Kick from Mickie but Mickie was only able to get a two count. Mickie set Victoria up for the Mickie-DT but when she was in mid-air, Victoria shoved her off before kicking her on the head and nailing the Widows Peak to claim her third Womens Championship. [Cue Music] Victoria stares straight into the Womens Title before grinning. She stands up and raises the title above her head. She makes her way up the ramp while hugging the title belt as Cole and Lawler talk about what a freak she is. Mickie James begins to come to her senses in the ring, and when she does, Victoria taunts her with the title from the rampway. The RAW announce team hype the WWE Championship Scramble match before a video rolls, hyping the contest. Montel Vontavious Porter defeated John Cena, Chris Jericho w/ Lance Cade, Batista and Kane to win the WWE Championship. Kane and Batista started things off and just like their SummerSlam match, they brawled all over the ringside area. Chris Jericho was the next man in and he immediantly went after Batista. Jericho soon hit the Codebreaker on Kane and became the temporary WWE Champion, but he acted like he had won the entire match. Jericho turned around and received a Batista Bomb which made Batista the temporary WWE Champion. Montel Vontavious Porter was next out and he hovered around ringside, waiting for the right time to enter the ring. When Kane hit Jericho with a Chokeslam, MVP slid in and made the cover to become the temporary WWE Champion. John Cena eventually made his entrance and cleaned house. He pinned Kane after a huge FU to become the temporary WWE Champion. When the timer was running down, Cena was still the temporary WWE Champion. MVP pinned Kane after an Overdrive to become the temporary WWE Champion while Cena and Batista fought it out. Cena hit MVP with the FU and went for the cover as the timer reached six seconds. Out of nowhere Randy Orton punted Cena's head, leaving him down on the matt. RANDY ORTON HAS RETURNED!!! The timer reached zero as Orton stood above a lifeless John Cena. MVP then reliased that he had just won the WWE Championship. [Cue Music] MVP snatches the WWE Championship from the referee before raising it above his head. The camera shows John Cena laying on the mat, sprawled out as Randy Orton is showered with boos. MVP heads up the ramp with his WWE Championship proudly hung over his shoulder. Orton leaves the ring and leaves through the crowd as the pay-per-view comes to a close.

WWE Monday Night RAW on the USA Network (- September 8, 2008: Fort Wayne, IND.)
The opening RAW intro plays, followed by a huge pyrotechnic display erupting throughout the arena, mainly around the titantron. Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler are here, as always, to call all the action tonight. They announce to us that in the main event we will see the new WWE Champion Montel Vontavious Porter, M.V.P, teaming up with Randy Orton, who returned just 24 hours ago at Unforgiven, to take on the dream team of John Cena and Baista!
The music of Chris Jericho begins to play and he comes swaggering out from the back in a suit, along with Lance Cade. Jericho takes a microphone and tells everyone to rise and show some appreciation to Lance Cade and himself. Jericho says that last night, Lance Cade done him proud as he earned him a spot in the Championship Scramble over that loser Bryan Danielson and as usual Shawn Michaels was left sitting watching from the sidelines. Jericho says that he was screwed out of winning the WWE Championship, but it's only a matter of time before the belt is firmly around his waist. Shawn Michaels' music hits and he comes out with Bryan Danielson, the two of them getting a good reaction from the Fort Wayne crowd. Shawn Michaels gets a microphone of his own and tells Jericho that Lance Cade might have won last night, but Jericho and Cade haven't won the war. Jericho tells Michaels it's time his ass was in a retirement home, and himself and Cade would gladly do it as not only is he superior to Michaels, but Cade is the superior protégé. Out of nowhere, Michaels hits Jericho with the Sweet Chin Music and Danielson takes Cade out with a stiff Roundhouse Kick. Michaels and Danielson leave, leaving Jericho and Cade clutching their heads in pain and Jericho yelling to Michaels that this isn't over.
Commercial Break
Chris Jericho is shown standing backstage clutching his jaw, with Lance Cade holding the back of his head. He is complaining to the RAW General Manager Stephanie McMahon about how Cade and himself were just attacked for no reason by Shawn Michaels and Bryan Danielson. Stephanie says that Jericho and Cade provoked them, and that she enjoyed seeing them flee to the back. Stephanie then makes it clear that tonight Jericho will face Danielson. Jericho complains that he isn't prepared to wrestle, but he will gladly kick Bryan Danielson's sorry little ass around the ring tonight.
Rey Mysterio def. Elijah Burke in a non-title match Really fun contest here from Rey Mysterio and the current reigning Intercontinental Champion, Elijah Burke. Both men seemed to work extremely well together, as both their styles complimented each other's extremely well. Elijah pulled off a fantastic counter when he countered Rey's wheelbarrow attempt into a wheelbarrow neckbreaker that TNA's Eric Young uses as his primary finisher. Elijah looked to finish Rey off following that with the Elijah Express, but Rey got out of the way and Elijah went crashing into the corner. Rey quickly rolled Burke up and got the victory! Rey celebrates his win in the ring as Elijah Burke looks around, totally stunned at how he just lost the match. CM Punk comes charging to the ring with his Money in the Bank briefcase and attacks Rey from behind with the case. He continues to attack a downed Rey with the case before Elijah Burke joins in on the attack, putting the boots to Rey. Punk holds Rey up, as Elijah dusts his knuckles in preparation of a possible knockout punch. Elijah attempts the knockout punch but Rey is able to break out of Punk's hold and Elijah clocks Punk. Rey quickly rolls out of the ring as Elijah attends to a fallen Punk, who seems out cold. Commercial BreakTodd Grisham is standing by with Shane McMahon and his buddies, The Mean Street Posse. Shane takes the microphone from Grisham and shoves him aside before saying that last night at Unforgiven, Rob Van Dam might have made a triumphant return to the WWE but his winning ways won't be lasting much longer as tonight Van Dam will team with Sabu to face Joey and Pete, in what his sister Stephanie thinks is a punishment towards himself and The Mean Street Posse. Shane laughs before he walks off, The Posse following him. Rob Van Dam and Sabu def. Joey Abs and Pete Gas (w/ Rodney and Shane McMahon) The outcome of this match didn't really shock anyone in attendance due to the fact that The Mean Street Posse are nothing more than jobbers nowadays, and almost a decade ago. RVD and Sabu worked well together, as always, and it wasn't long before Sabu brought a steel chair into play. However, he missed the Arabian Facebuster to Gas, who then looked to put Sabu away with a Cobra Clutch of sorts, but Sabu countered it and sent was able to push Gas away who ran into a Vanterminator, while the referee was distracted by Shane McMahon trying to stop the chair being brought into play. Sabu tagged in Van Dam, who was on the apron just as he was when the referee last saw him, and Van Dam hit the Five Star Frog Splash for the win! A limo pulls into the parking lot and music is heard blaring from the inside. The door is opened by the driver before we see the brand new WWE Champion Montel Vontavious Porter step out in a suit, and then some models follow Porter out. Todd Grisham charges up to Porter and asks him his thoughts on his tag team match later tonight. Porter tells Grisham that he reached the pinnacle of his career last night by becoming the WWE Champion, and tonight he plans on staying on top and proving to everyone why he is the WWE's MVP: Most Valuable Player. He puts the title around his shoulder and then puts his arms around 2 of the models before walking off. Victoria is shown heading down the hallway with Stevie Richards and her Women's Championship around her waist. The screen splits in two and we then see Mickie James stretching before she begins to head down the hallway. Mickie meets Victoria in an Unforgiven rematch: and it's next! Commercial BreakVictoria (w/ Stevie Richards) def. Mickie James to retain the WWE Women's Championship In a rematch from Unforgiven last night, Victoria defended the title she won from Mickie in a solid ladies contest. This match wasn't as good as their Unforgiven encounter, however, that's not to say this match was bad or anything as it was still a really enjoyable match. Mickie gave it her all to try and recapture the Women's Title, but it just wasn't to be as Victoria pinned Mickie and won the match following a devastating Widow's Peak. Stevie Richards snatches the Women's Championship from ringside and slides into the ring where he hands the belt to a kneeling Victoria. She hugs the belt and grins before standing up and proudly holding it above herself as Lillian Garcia announces her as the victor. Randy Orton is seen backstage entering the arena in his street gear. Todd Grisham, as always, appears and asks Randy why he attacked John Cena last night at Unforgiven and cost him the WWE Championship. Orton looks at Grisham, showing emotion, and saying nothing before slowly walking off. John Morrison and The Miz are in Stephanie McMahon's office picking up some ornaments and checking them out before placing them down again. They turn to Stephanie and tell her that tonight they've came to Monday Night RAW due to the talent exchange that ECW and RAW have, yet they're left facing a team like the Samoan Fight Squad. Stephanie tells the duo that the Samoan Fight Squad have been on a roll since signing with RAW and making their debuts. Morrison butts in, letting Stephanie know that no team in the entire WWE - RAW, ECW or SmackDown - are on the same level as John Morrison and The Miz. Stephanie lets Mizorrison know that they are underestimating Afa, Jr. and Sonny Siaki, and that she doesn't have time for their bitching and complaining so don't let the door hit them on the way out! They tell her that they are VIP's and deserve better treatment as they storm out. Commercial BreakAfa, Jr. and Sonny Siaki def. John Morrison and The Miz The RAW and ECW talent exchange was showcased tonight with the charismatic and arrogant duo of Mizorrison, John Morrison and The Miz, took on a tag team who call RAW home and have been on a roll as of late, the Samoan Fight Squad - Sonny Siaki and Afa, Jr. Both teams showed the world just how great the tag team division here in the WWE is with a fantastic tag contest that saw both teams give it their all, as the WWE World Tag Team Champions, The DiBiase Brothers, Mike and Ted, stood in the backstage area watching the match on a monitor with their friend, Cody Rhodes. Afa pinned Morrison with a Samoan Drop to get the victory for him and Siaki. The referee raises the hands of Afa and Sonny following the match as Mizorrison re-group on the outside. The pair motion that they are coming for The DiBiase Brothers' WWE World Tag Team Titles as the camera cuts between Mike, Ted and Cody looking furious in the back, and the Samoan Fight Squad working the crowd at ringside. Commercial BreakTodd Grisham is at the interview area along with the former WWE Champion, John Cena. Grisham asks Cena if he knows why Randy Orton attacked him last night at Unforgiven. Cena tells Todd that he has no idea why in the hell Orton attacked him, but he does know that Orton is going to regret that as he is going to lay him out with the Chaingang Soldiers right behind him. Cena says that he's one step closer to taking Orton down, and two steps away from taking what is rightfully his - the WWE Championship. Chris Jericho (w/ Lance Cade) def. Bryan Danielson (w/ Shawn Michaels) This was a fantastic wrestling contest between both men, with Danielson actually getting alot of offense in on Jericho, and he sold Danielson's kicks extremely well, really making them seem more vicious than they are. Danielson went for a Missile Dropkick but Jericho blocked it and looked to synch in the Walls of Jericho, but Danielson kicked Jericho away sending him bouncing off the ropes and on the rebound Danielson hit his own version of the Sweet Chin Music! Michaels tells Danielson to make the cover, but instead Danielson begins to rally the crowd up and climbs to the top rope. He goes for an Elbow Drop, similar to the one Michaels pulls off, but Jericho rolls out of harms way and Danielson catches nothing but the mat. When Danielson gets to his feet Jericho kills him with a violent Codebreaker, and he gets the 1-2-3. Shawn Michaels gets into the ring and begins to help a hurt Danielson to his feet, while Jericho and Lance Cade celebrate across the ring. Jericho takes a microphone from Lillian Garcia and begins to mock Michaels and Bryan, eventually bringing Michaels' wife Rebecca into the discussion. Michaels stops attending to Danielson and charges after Jericho, but Jericho and Cade quickly bail from the ring and head to the back, continuing to taunt Michaels and Danielson. Commercial BreakMontel Vontavious Porter and Randy Orton def. John Cena and Batista Blockbuster main event to close the show out tonight, with the brand new WWE Champion Montel Vontavious Porter teaming up with the returning Randy Orton to take on the insanely over tag team of John Cena and Batista. MVP came out to a grand entrance as this was his first night since winning the WWE Championship last night at Unforgiven in the Championship Scramble after a 3 month pursuit of John Cena for the prestigious belt. MVP seemed even more cocky and arrogant than usual, and you could tell it was beginning to grate on the nerves of Batista and Cena. MVP backed up his attitude with wrestling as he kept Batista on the ground for quite a bit of the match, just working over his legs to keep him down. Later, Porter went for the Driveby Kick but Batista got out of the way and Speared MVP out of his boots, sending MVP rolling to the outside favouring his stomach as Batista began to shake the ropes. Orton, the legal man, quickly tossed Batista to the outside before turning around and walking straight into what appeared to be Cena setting up for the FU. However, Orton slipped out and when Cena turned around Orton nailed the RKO for the victory for his team. Orton just pinned the former WWE Champion in the centre of the ring! The referee raises Orton's hand up, before he climbs to the second rope and begins to pose. MVP takes his WWE Championship from ringside and climbs into the ring where he begins to hold the belt up high above himself. The show comes to a close with MVP and Orton celebrating as Cena and Batista talk on the outside, not taking their eyes off Orton and MVP respectively.

-Unforgiven -Holy crap! It's back! -Carlito retaining the gold in Fatal Four Way was the best call TBH. Hardys feud could continue leaving the Colon bros to go at it. -Cade beating Danielson is decent. But hope Danielson takes some revenge. -Dreamer winning the ECW Championship is fine. But hope Morrison takes the strap later in the year. -RVD beating Shane is the right call. Vince turning on Shane is nice as it sets up a good feud with Vince as like a non manager or something. -Taker retaining is good too. Very happy all three World Titles didn't change hands. -Victoria beating James is nice. Victoria is bound to have a good run as champion. -Wow. Really thought Jericho would win as the special finalist. M.V.P winning is great and Orton's return is EPIC! Glad it ended. -Great Unforgiven.
-RAW -Like the opening promo and love both Cade and Jericho taking kicks to the jaw. -Mysterio vs. Burke sounds awesome. Very awesome. Glad Mysterio won as this sets up Burke v. Mysterio at No Mercy. By the way, sweet poster. -I thought that guy's last name was the A word. Sabu and RVD winning is good. -Victoria retaining was the right call as this is her 1st day as champ. -Afa and Siaki beating Miz and Morrison is alright. Wanted JoMo and Miz to there but hopefully that take some momentum later. -Jericho beating Danielson was awesome. That looked like a great match too. -Exceptable to see MVP and Orton win as this is Orton's first night back on RAW and M.V.P first night as WWE Champion. Hope to see M.V.P vs. Orton vs. Cena at No Mercy.
-Good RAW

ECW on Sci-Fi (- September 9, 2008: Milwaukee, WI.)
Mike Adamle and Tazz welcome us to another edition of ECW on Sci-Fi, sponsored by Skittles. They quickly talk about Tommy Dreamer capturing the ECW Championship in the Championship Scramble this past Sunday at Unforgiven.
John Morrison, The Miz and Jake Hager (w/ Layla) def. Charlie Haas, Kofi Kingston and Colt Cabana We kicked the show off tonight with his superb six person tag team match that was packed with action from the moment the bell went. Mizorrison and Hager have 3 of the biggest egos in ECW, so it was fitting that they teamed together tonight. The face team of Charlie Haas, Kofi Kingston and Colt Cabana put up a fight against the heels, but they weren't able to get the victory as Morrison pinned Cabana with the Moonlight Drive. The Miz, Morrison and Hager celebrate their win on the ramp with Layla as Haas and Kofi help Cabana get to his feet in the ring. The heels taunt the faces from the ramp, with Layla calling them losers. DJ Gabriel and Alicia Fox are shown dancing in the corridor backstage together while listening to their respective iPod's. Gabriel is in action next! Commercial BreakBig Show is shown in the office of ECW General Manager Theodre Long. Show tells Long that he lost his title unfairly and Long tells Show that is why the odds are totally against the champion heading into the match. Show tells Long that if he doesn't get his title match then he is going to wreak havoc upon ECW. Jimmy Wang Yang def. DJ Gabriel (w/ Alicia Fox) This started off as a comedy match with Gabriel and Yang both having a dance off as Alicia Fox, who looked as hot as ever, danced on the outside. Eventually, Yang had enough and took Gabriel down with a Spinning Heel Kick. From there on out the match saw both men battle it out, exchanging who had control of the bout numerous times. Yang went for a crossbody from the top rope but Gabriel whacked him with a European Uppercut, but he was only able to get a 2 count as Yang got his foot on the bottom rope. DJ sent Yang into the corner and charged after him but Yang jumped over Gabriel and quickly hit a German Suplex for the win! The referee raises the hand of Jimmy Yang as DJ Gabriel holds the back of his head and Alicia Fox looks on in horror. Fox slides into the ring and attends to Gabriel as Yang works the crowd from the second rope. Commercial BreakLena Yada is standing by backstage with Tommy Dreamer, who has his ECW Championship around his waist. Lena congratulates Tommy on his win at Unforgiven and tells him that if anyone deserves the ECW Title, it's Tommy Dreamer. Tommy thanks Lena and tells her that he's going to do whatever he possibly can do to retain the belt and prove to everyone that he is the heart and soul of ECW. Big Show def. Evan Bourne The size difference here was totally unreal, however, the match was really fun to watch as Bourne was actually able to take Show down on several occasions. After a few minutes of Bourne dishing out kicks to the legs of Show, Bourne went for a springboard attempt, but Show cracked him on the jaw with his fist when Bourne was rebounding round to Show. He made the cover and got the 1-2-3! The referee attempts to raise Show's hand, but Show shoves him away before requesting a microphone from Justin Roberts. Show says that he lost his ECW Championship unfairly, because he wasn't pinned but instead Kofi Kingston was pinned and that he wants Tommy Dreamer to come out here and face him, man to man. The music of Dreamer hits and he comes out, proudly wearing the ECW Championship around his waist. He rolls into the ring and tells Big Show that he is the heart and soul of ECW, and he's willing to put his belt on the line anytime and any place because he is a fighting champion. Show tells Dreamer he wants him now and attempts to punch him, but Dreamer ducks and begins to rapidly swing punches at Show but they have little to no effect. Suddenly, Show grabs ahold of Dreamer by the throat, but Evan Bourne dropkicks Show from the top rope and Show stumbles around. Dreamer whacks him with the title belt and hits the Dreamer DDT before Evan Bourne climbs to the top once more and hits a Shooting Star Press! Tommy raises the hand of Evan up as ECW comes to a close.

I wasn't around when you originally did this, so bare with me as I see lots of new faces.
Raw: - Love the HBK/Danielson vs Jericho/Cade thing you got going on. - Rey defeating Elijah I am fine with, as either of them are good selections over the other. - RVD and Sabu vs The Mean Street Posse, haha, you got the MSP back. The Extremists winning is good. - Victoria retaining the Women's Championship is good as she is only really ever credible in the title scene. - Afa and Siaki winning actually surprised me. Would of preferred Miz and Morrison, though, so maybe that's why. - Jericho and Danielson would certainly have a great match against each other, and right call for Y2J to win this. - Good main event to have and the heels coming out on top is nice as it shows in favor of MVP as WWE Champ.
ECW: - Morrison, Miz, and Hager winning is good as you got a legit team in there. - Wang Yang defeating DJ Gabriel actually came as a surprise to me, so it's fine. - Pretty obvious victory for Big Show, being the larger man, and the post-match stuff was good.
Overall, a pretty good set of shows to make a comeback.

-Love Hager, Morrison, and Miz winning. Hope they all get great pushes. -Yang beating Gabriel is good. Not a fan of Gabriel for real. -Show beating Bourne was expected got nothing wrong there.
-You made all the right match result decisions IMO. So good job Hammers.
