WWE RAW: Monday 8th September 2008...Alright, I remember co-writing Unforgiven with you, so this should be either confusing or good. Or both, knowing me and the thirteen months between Unforgiven and this edition of RAW. Chris Jericho and Lance Cade had a nice protegé/mentor bond so you wrote it with Bryan Danielson and Shawn Michaels; good promo to start off. One thing I'm not too fond of is your use of the newest RAW logo in this time period. Doesn't suit, if you ask me. It just seems odd. I liked Shawn and Bryan getting dominant offense against Lance and Chris is a nice way to open up the show in this promo. Solid opening contest to start up the show in the ring with Rey Mysterio overcoming Elijah Burke; not a bad match I would imagine, hope to see Burke remain credible, but wow CM Punk assaulting Mysterio with the Money in the Bank briefcase surprised me a bit. I hope you don't go all Straight Edge Society here. He needs to be a solo heel performer. I don't see why the Mean Street Posse are still around; squash match win for Rob Van Dam and Sabu; can't see Sabu remaining employed for too much longer, either. Shane McMahon's interruption bombed terribly. Not a fond segment on tonight's episode. Victoria retaining the WWE Womens Championship from Mickie James is alright; good rematch from Unforgiven. Not at all sure what to think of Stevie Richards being back with Victoria after their scenario seemingly ended in the Spring of 2008. The Miz and John Morrison's promo was pretty nice, and I'm looking forward to what they could do with the talent exchange between ECW and RAW; but is it necessary when RAW has such a big roster already? And ECW has a heavily oversized. In fact, your whole roster needs a cut down. Especially of guys like Afa Jr and Sonny Siaki; what a terrible waste of Morrison and Miz tonight. I wasn't fond of the decision at all, but intrigued with Cody Rhodes and the Dibiase Brothers in the backstage area. Chris Jericho and Bryan Danielson would have worked so better as a first-hour main event, as opposed to being just prior to the main event. A good win for Jericho as hopefully this protegé/mentor against protegé/mentor feud ends soon. Lastly, a very good main event tag team win for MVP and Randy Orton against John Cena and Batista in what was a great match. Very nice but now I think, would have been better if WWE Champion, MVP had been given a promo to represent his title win as I can't take him so seriously. A good show though, slowly building towards No Mercy.
ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 9th September 2008...Sweet six man tag team match to instantly set us up for this edition of ECW, but what is up with Mike Adamle still commentating? That is a bizarre decision to do. And also, shows are now sponsored? Hmm, Skittles? Not sure about this. Good win for John Morrison and The Miz as they needed it following the embarrassing defeat from Sonny Siaki and Afa Jr. Jake Hager is going to take some getting used to, as a ring name. I definitely prefer 'Jack Swagger', as comical as it is. Charlie Haas, Colt Cabana and Kofi Kingston were a nice opposing trio, not a bad team but the right combination won. DJ Gabriel and Alicia Fox are still around? Meh. I am so glad to see Jimmy Wang Yang get the win against Gabriel; best decision here as Gabriel is absolutely garbage. Next, good easy win for the ECW Champion, Big Show against Evan Bourne. Very nice show, but not sure about Tommy Dreamer and Big Show attracting viewers in future weeks. A decent show.

- Today, wwe announced on the website, the releasing of several talents. Pete Gas, Joey Abs, & Rodney of the Mean Street Posse who some believe were never officially signed to contracts in the first place, Hardcore Holly, Cherry and Jillian Hall have all been released from the company. - Sabu who recently signed back with the company along with Rob Van Dam is expected to stick around with his buddy on the Raw brand, but don't be surprised to see him make a return to the land of extreme. - Rene Dupree & Sylain Grenier who were both signed back to the company earlier this year, recently lost the FCW Tag Team Championships to Trent Barreta & Caylon Croft, it is expected for La Resistance to get called back up to the main rosters very shortly. - Pro Wrestling NOAH star and former ROH World Champion, Takeshi Morishima has been wrestling dark matches for WWE recently. It is thought that WWE really want to sign the heavyweight from Japan and that a contract has been sent to Morishima. - In other signing news, WWE have recently signed Dustin Rhodes, better known as Goldust back to a contract, Goldust has been in and out of WWE over the years but it is said he is now in the best shape of his life and doesn't want to screw up the latest opportunity given to him.

9/12/08 - Milwaukee, Wisconsin Following a video package showing The Undertaker retain the World Heavyweight Championship in the championship scramble match this past Sunday at Unforgiven, we are greeted with the entrance music of “The Game” Triple H. Triple H makes his way down to the ring, and once inside, after his music stops, he talks about how last night, he was a “Intern World Heavyweight Champion” meaning the reign does not count, because of the rules of the Championship Scramble match. Hunter continues to talk, saying he played the game, and sadly came up short but he lives to fight another day, and soon enough, the WWE Championship will be his. Triple H is interrupted by the entrance music of former World Heavyweight Champion, Edge who makes his way down to the ring with his wife, Vickie Guerrero. Vickie talks first, asking Triple H why he deserves to be the next person to challenge The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship, when her husband, Edge is the former World Heavyweight Champion, and never got his one on one rematch. Edge interrupts, agreeing with his wifes statement, and he Triple H to get to the back of the line with the rest of the idiots on Smackdown. Triple H attempts to respond but he is interrupted once again, this time by “The Gold Standard” Shelton Benjamin. Once inside the ring, Shelton talks about how if it wasn’t for the few seconds he let his guard down and allowed The Undertaker to lock in the hells gate submission hold, he’d be standing in the right, right now as the World Heavyweight Champion. Shelton says that since he was the last “Intern Champion” in the match before Undertaker retained the championship, then he should be the number one contender for the title. Triple H tries to respond once again but for the third time, he is interrupted, this time by “The Samoan Bulldozer” Umaga. Umaga marches his way down to the ring and when he gets inside, he snatches the microphone from Shelton Benjamin and begins to yell incoherent babble in to it. Triple H comically mentions that Umaga has made the most sense out of the other three men in the ring. Shelton Benjamin seemingly loses his mind cause he pushes the three other men, except after pushing Umaga last, Umaga reacts with the Samoan Spike, knocking “The Gold Standard down to the canvas. Vickie Guerrero, and Edge retreat from the ring, while Triple H, and Umaga brawl inside of it. HHH attempts to hit the Pedigree, but Umaga counters the move with a backdrop, then quickly knocks him down to the canvas with the Samoan Spike. Edge quickly rolls back in to the ring with a steel chair, and smacks Umaga in the back with it. Umage turns around slowly, and yells in Edges face, but Edge doesn’t react scared and instead raises the Chair and bounces it of “The Samoan Bulldozer’s” head, knocking him down to the canvas. Edge stands tall as GM Vickie Guerrero, announces the main event, a fatal four way match involving the four men with the winner facing The Undertaker at No Mercy for the World Heavyweight Championship.
1) The Brian Kendrick, Maryse, Nic Nemeth, & Kenny Dykstra w/ Ezekiel Jackson & Rob Terry defeated. Paul London, Maria, Jesse & Festus - After attacking his former friend, Paul London several weeks ago, Brian Kendrick has underwent a metamorphoses and emerged as The Brian Kendrick, who in the space of two weeks has found a monster of a bodyguard in Ezekiel Jackson, and he also hooked up with the beautiful, self centred, Maryse. The mixed eight man tag match was a fun opener for Smackdown that featured some nice back n forth action from the start. Following a hot tag from Jesse to big ol’ Festus, the wild man from the deep south took down Nemeth, Dykstra, and Kendrick before turning around and stopping at Maryse who acted scared but then slapped Festus across the face. Festus reacted angrily, chasing Maryse out of the ring. Maryse ran straight in to a tackle from Maria and the referee left the ring to break up the ladies. This allowed Rob Terry, and Ezekiel Jackson to slide in to the ring, and they slammed Festus down to the canvas with a double single arm spine buster. Dykstra quickly took advantage with his diving leg drop from the top rope and the referee slid back in to the ring to count the three. Following the bell, Kendrick irish whipped London in to Rob Terry who threw London in to the air only to be slammed down to the canvas by Rob Terry with a Spinebuster on his way back down.
Smackdown comes back from commercial break with all of La Familia in the office of Vickie Guerrero. Vickie seems proud of her self, and is trying to convince Edge that he will win the Fatal Four Way match tonight and go on to defeat The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship at No Mercy. Edge seems annoyed however, and asks his wife why she didn’t just make him the number one contender for the championship. Vickie mentions that she has been under pressure recently by the Board of Directors, even more so, with what is going on between the owner of the company and his son. Edge isn’t happy about having to earn the title shot tonight, but before he can continue, Mr. Kennedy barges in to the room. Kennedy, who hasn’t done anything relevant onscreen in some time, is upset with how he is being treated by management and threatens do to things his own way. Edge gets in Mr. Kennedy’s face and demands that he treats his wife with some respect, and then Chavo Guerrero demands retribution and to be able to defend his aunts honor so Vickie Guerrero announces Mr. Kennedy vs. Chavo Guerrero for later on, tonight.
2) Natalya defeated. Candice Michelle - Your basic TV divas match here featuring the current WWE Divas Champion, Natalya. The 2nd generation diva has been champion for 4 months now and is dominating her division so it came to no surprise that this near 4 minute match ended abruptly with Natalya dominating Candice Michelle before finally locking her in to the Sharpshooter to finish the match. Following the bell, Natalya gloated in victory before leaving the ring.
3) Vladimir Kozlov defeated. Trevor Murdoch - As Smackdown came back from a commercial break, poor Trevor Murdoch got the “jobber entrance” as he was already in the ring with his music playing before stopping, allowing the entrance of the “Moscow Mauler” Vladimir Kozlov. Kozlov has been impressive since joining WWE, and is still undefeated at this point. Despite having no tv entrance tonight, Trevor Murdoch may have been Kozlov’s toughest challenge to date as the hard hitting, singing sensation even managed to get Kozlov down to the canvas at one point following an out of character, cross body from the middle rope. Murdoch tried to bring Kozlov back up to his feet, seemingly calling for the Texas Destroyer but Kozlov pushed Murdoch in to the ropes and on the rebound, delivered his devastating battering ram like head butt. Trevor Murdoch fell down to the canvas, and Vladimir hooked the leg to get the three count.
The cameras cut to the back where Matt Hardy gets off his phone. Jeff Hardy walks in to frame and asks his brother “What is taking her so long” to which his brother replies “She’s on her way to the arena now, there has been traffic problems in the area” Matt then tells his brother that there is no time left and they have to go out for their match. The two men pump each other up then leave the room as the commentators mentioned that it’s the Colon Brothers vs. the Hardy Brothers, next.
4) The Hardy Brothers defeated. The Colon Brothers w/ Rosa Mendez - These four men have been going at it for what seems like months now. First it was over Carlito defeating Matt Hardy for the United States Championship but now it seems to be a gangland style family feud. The match itself was fine for the time it was given on TV and it eventually came to an end with Rosa Mendez getting involved as she normally does, only this time she was caught by the referee causing the disqualification finish. Carlito and Primo attacked The Hardy Brothers from behind quickly and Rosa stood over them while screaming in Latin, in their faces. Suddenly, the crowd popped as the entrance music of Lita played across the PA System. Lita runs down to the ring as The Colon’s and Rosa look on stunned and just as she slides in to the ring, The Hardy’s spring back to life and attack The Colon’s. Rosa tries to escape, but Lita grabs her by the hair, turns her around and delivers the twist of fate. The crowd pop as both Matt and Jeff hit the same move on Primo and Carlito and all three members of a revived Team Xtreme climb to the top rope with Lita hitting the moonsault, Matt hitting the Leg Drop and Jeff hitting the Swanton Bomb on their opponents. The three embrace and stand tall over the fallen Puerto Ricans.
Following the Raw Rebound video, a hype image appears on the screen showing that this upcoming Monday, on Monday Night Raw, WWE Champion, MVP will host the VIP Lounge with special guest, Randy Orton.
5) Mr. Kennedy defeated. Chavo Guerrero w/ Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins - Chavo Guerrero had some back up tonight in his La Familia brethren, Ryder & Hawkins but even that wasn’t enough to secure him victory tonight, and defend the honour of his aunt, the General Manager of Smackdown, Vickie Guerrero, The match was fairly short with Chavo working Kennedy’s right leg for most of it before attempting the Frog Splash, missing, and popping straight back up to his feet which may have been a bigger mistake than just staying down because Kennedy quickly grabbed Chavo while still laying on the canvas and rolled him over in to a small package to get the surprising three count. Kennedy quickly rolled out of the ring to retreat from Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins who had just rolled in to the ring as Chavo Guerrero looked stunned at losing a match he had such control in. La Familia quickly left the ring in pursuit of Mr Kennedy who managed to fight off all three men only to turn around on the apron and walk straight in to a spear by Edge. Edge yelled in Kennedy’s face never to disrespect his wife again and his entrance music played as he made his way to the ring, seemingly moving straight to the main event.
Main Event) Umaga defeated. Shelton Benjamin, Triple H & Edge - A great main event for Smackdown tonight, with all four men battling it out to try and face The Undertaker at No Mercy for the World Heavyweight Championship. Each man was able to hit their spots and all had near fall attempts but the finish eventually came down to Shelton Benjamin being hit with the Pedigree by Triple H only to turn around and be hit with the spear by Edge. Edge hooked the leg seemingly about to win the match only for Mr Kennedy to grab him by the legs and pull him out of the ring. Kennedy and Edge brawled in to the crowd as Umaga who had been put through the announce table earlier in the match rolled in side, only to be kicked in the gut by Triple H who attempted another pedigree. Shelton Benjamin was waiting however and super kicked Triple H while he had Umaga’s arms hooked, and he crashed to the outside of the ring. Shelton tried to hit Paydirt on Umaga but the madman just caught him before throwing him up in the air and landing with a sick Samoan Drop. Umaga dragged Shelton up to his feet only to spike him back down with the Samoan Spike which was enough to give him the three count. Umaga stands in victory as the lights in the arena suddenly go out and come back on with Undertaker standing on the entrance ramp. The World Heavyweight Champion does his usual cut throat taunt and signifies that Umaga will soon Rest in Peace as Smackdown comes to an end.

A good opening promo, pulling for Benjamin in the Main Event. Him against Taker would be crazy. Glad that Kendrick's team picked up the win, hopefully he gets a major push. Natalya winning is obvious. As is Kozlov, push him like a monster and make sure he doesn't get stuck as a joke character like he is now. Lita! Sweet moment man, already digging this feud a lot. Glad Kennedy won, and Edge standing over Kennedy really flowed into the main event. Kennedy screwing Edge over, Could be a really good feud. Hope that Kennedy eventually goes over and moves on to main event status. Umaga winning the Fatal 4 Way is good too, because since his push he has been shown as a big threat, especially to The Undertaker. No Mercy looks good man, good show.

9/15/08 - Memphis, Tennessee
Following the usual Monday Night Raw intro video, a graphic appears on screen showing that tonight, Kane & Batista finally finish their feud once and for all in a Last Man Standing match. Following that graphic, another appears showing that WWE Champion, MVP will be hosting the VIP lounge with special guest, Randy Orton.
The commentators begin to talk but suddenly, Batista falls through the entrance curtain, as “The Big Red Machine” Kane follows in hot pursuit. Kane, and Batista brawl down to the ring, and once inside, a referee runs down and asks for the bell to be rang as the Last Man Standing match is seemingly kicking off the show.
1 - Last Man Standing Match) Kane vs. Batista ended in a no-contest - Quite a different way to open Monday Night Raw this week but the fans were loving it as Kane & Batista brawled all over the ringside area before making their way back up the entrance ramp and through the curtain. The two men threw each other against the walls and structures backstage before Batista tackled Kane in to a box like structure that collapsed with many drum barrels, pipes and wooden pallets falling on top of them. The referee started the count but it soon became clear, neither man was going to get up and the referee quickly called over staff as they thought to clear the wreckage.
After coming back from a commercial, the scene opens up backstage, where both Batista, and Kane are being stretchered in to the back of ambulances. Stephanie McMahon is keeping an eye on the situation, but is interrupted by the current World Tag Team Champions, Ted, & Mike DiBiase along with Cody Rhodes. Ted and Mike try to plead their case about how they’ve been defeating everyone on Raw and there isn’t any real competition for them here but Stephanie asks them if they can reschedule this. Mike makes the comment under his breath “If your father is just as ignorant as you, it’s no wonder Shane tried to kill him” and Stephanie overhears it and screams at them to go away.
2) CM Punk defeated. D’Lo Brown - The current Money in the Bank holder, CM Punk has had his problems recently with Rey Mysterio, and the current Intercontinental Champion, Elijah Burke. Punk, and the former IC Champion, D’Lo Brown had a fun back n forth match that eventually ended with D’Lo Brown missing the Lo Down only for CM Punk to hit the Go To Sleep. This was enough for CM Punk too hook the leg and pick up the three count.
Following the bell, CM Punk asked for the microphone and cut a promo on how he is still the holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase, which means that John Cena or The Undertaker’s championship holding days are numbered. Punk talks about how while he is waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike and cash in his title match, he is going to collect a bit of a title history before hand, and that is while he has targeted Elijah Burke. Punk claims that the Intercontinental championship will be around his waist soon enough.
The cameras cut to a city view of Memphis, Tennessee, which shows the Ambulances with Batista, and Kane inside of them, making their way to the hospital. The camera pans back to the commentators table where they reply what happened during the Last Man Standing match and mention that they wouldn’t be surprised if neither man can wrestle again.
Following a commercial break, Stevie Richards, and the WWE Woman’s Champion, Victoria are sitting at the announce table along with Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole. It is announced that the following match will determine the next number one contender to the WWE Woman’s Championship.
3) Katie Lea Burchill defeated. Mickie James, and Melina - Katie Lea Burchill wasn’t with her brother, Paul tonight, but that didn’t seem to matter as she still managed to pick up the victory and be crowned the #1 contender to face Beth Phoenix for the WWE Woman’s Championship. The match was slightly better than your usual TV Woman’s Match but suffered because of the lack of time it was given. The finish arrived with Mickie James hitting the Jumping DDT on Melina only for Katie Lea to roll her up and hold on to the tights for leverage to pick up the victory.
Following the victory, Katie Lea made the championship motion across her waist, and Victoria just grinned.
The cameras cut to the titantron where a Smackdown Rewind plays showing what took place on Smackdown this past week with Umaga winning a fatal four way match against Edge, Shelton Benjamin, and Triple H to earn the right to challenge The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship at No Mercy. The video also highlighted Mr Kennedy costing Edge the match and showing the two men brawl their way through the crowd.
4) Rey Mysterio defeated. William Regal w/ Paul Burchill - A fun TV match for the crowd that was given a decent amount of time. You’d think there’d be a clash of styles but Regal and Mysterio worked well against each other and showed some great back n forth action, where at points, it looked like Regal was going to pick up the victory. That did not happen however as Mysterio connected with the spinning head scissors and quickly followed it up with the 619 to pick up the victory.
Following the bell, Burchill rolls in to the ring and Mysterio quickly begins to kick at him so Burchill can’t jump him. Burchill decides against his original plan and rolls out of the ring, but Mysterio turns around and walks straight in to a GTS by CM Punk. Punk grins and walks over to the corner but turns around and is met by the Elijah Express by the Intercontinental Champion, Elijah Burke. Punk stumbles out of the corner, and Burke quickly hit’s the Elijah Experience to knock Punk down to the canvas. Burke stands over both CM Punk, and Rey Mysterio with his belt being rose in to the air.
Following a commercial break, the entrance music of WWE Owner, Vince McMahon plays across the PA System, as he makes his way down to the ring. Once inside, Vince smiles and says that at Unforgiven, Rob Van Dam did him proud, smashing that chair in to his sons face over and over again until, he couldn’t stand back up. Vince claims that there is much more pain in store for his son, Shane and asks for him to come out. Shane stumbles his way down to the ring on crutches and says that he has been beaten to an inch of his life by Rob Van Dam at Unforgiven and that he doesn’t need to be taught any more lessons but his father tells him to shut up. Vince announces that tonight, Shane will be competing against this man, and JBL’s entrance music is heard across the PA System. Bradshaw makes his way down to the ring and once inside, he pushes Shane around before Shane grins, then JBL grins back. Vince asks what is going on, and Shane is given a microphone to which he tells his father that the only thing that matters in wrestling is money and that he paid JBL months ago and that he was in the plot all along. JBL suddenly walks closer towards Vince McMahon as if to attack him but Rob Van Dam runs down to the ring and makes the save. JBL and RVD brawl for a few moments but it doesn’t work out as planned as JBL manages to hit the Clothesline from Hell, knocking RVD down to the canvas. Vince quickly calls for security to hit the ring and separate JBL from Vince, but Shane manages to sneak around them, from the outside of the ring, and he rolls back inside, and tackles his father down to the ground, getting in a few punches before security drag him away.
Following a commercial break, an image plays announcing that at No Mercy, the WWE Intercontinental Championship will be on the line in a triple threat match as Elijah Burke defends the title against both, Rey Mysterio, and CM Punk. The image cuts to a second image where because of what happened moments ago, another match has been added to No Mercy where Rob Van Dam will face John Bradshaw Layfield.
5) Bryan Danielson vs. Ted DiBiase w/ Mike DiBiase & Cody Rhodes ends in a no-contest - A fairly short match but given the ending and what followed, it made sense. Danielson got the upper hand early and it looked like he was going to pick up the early victory, embarrassing Legacy, so Mike DiBiase rolled in to the ring to attack Danielson causing the referee to call for the bell. Cody Rhodes, and Mike DiBiase attack Danielson till his mentor, Shawn Michaels runs down to the ring to make the save. Several referees run down to the ring, and manage to separate the men but suddenly, Stephanie McMahon makes her way on to the entrance ramp and announces that since Legacy like to run their mouths and claim there’s no competition for them, and make personal statements about the McMahon family, this match is going to be restarted as a tag team match with the World Tag Team championships on the line.
Main Event - World Tag Team Championships) Shawn Michaels & Bryan Danielson defeated. Legacy© w/ Cody Rhodes - Legacy jumped Danielson at the start of the restarted match to gain the early advantage but that didn’t help them much, as after being worked on for several minutes, Danielson managed to fight back and dive across the ring to get the hot tag to Shawn Michaels. Michaels cleaned house for a few seconds, hitting his usual spots before the finish eventually arrived with Danielson and Michaels both hitting Sweet Chin Music on the DiBiase Brothers, knocking both down to the canvas. Cody Rhodes rolled in to the ring to try and get his team disqualified once again, but Shawn quickly grabbed Cody and threw him over the ropes, sending him crashing to the outside of the ring. Danielson quickly locked in Cattle Mutilation on Mike DiBiase, forcing him to tap out. Shawn and Bryan are awarded the World Tag Titles and the two hug in victory before raising their belts to the crowd.
Following a commercial break, the ring is set up as the VIP Lounge as the WWE Champion, MVP makes his way down to the ring. Once inside, he talks about how today is a very special day as it is the first edition of the VIP Lounge to be done while MVP is WWE Champion. MVP then says that this segment isn’t about him however and announces his special guest, Randy Orton. Orton makes his way down to the ring and when inside, the two men shake hands. Orton says congratulations to MVP for winning the WWE Championship at Unforgiven in the Championship Scramble and says that it was well deserved. MVP thanks Orton and says he’d be proud to put his title on the line in a match against him. Suddenly, John Cena’s entrance music plays across the PA System and the man himself makes his way down to the ring to a huge pop from the crowd. Once inside the ring, Cena waits for the chanting to die down before announcing that it’s going to be hard for MVP to defend the WWE Championship against Randy Orton when John Cena is using his rematch clause against MVP in a one on one match at No Mercy. The crowd cheer for this but then Cena says that when he decided to cash in on his rematch, Stephanie McMahon had already told Orton he’d get a WWE Championship Match so to make Orton happy, he is allowed to be the special guest referee. Orton grins and tells Cena that he has no problem with that and that he’ll call the match right down the middle. Cena says he doubts this and that if he’s going down, he’s going to go down with a fight, and drops the microphone before punching Orton in the jaw. Cena manages to fight off both Orton and MVP for a few moments before the numbers game takes advantage. Orton suddenly hit’s the RKO out of no where, and Cena slams down to the canvas hard. The two men watch and Cena struggles to get back to his feet but when he finally gets up to one knee, MVP charges across the ring and connects with the Drive By Kick, kicking Cena clean in the jaw, knocking him back down to the canvas. Raw comes to an end with Orton and MVP standing tall, with Orton handing MVP the WWE Championship.

WWE RAW: Monday 15th September 2008...Interesting way to kick off the show, random occurrence between Kane and Batista, but then I realise that the two are feuding, meaning it is okay by me. Original finish I suppose, maybe done too many times in Last Man Standing matches in recent history. Both men being stretchered away is a cool spot though. CM Punk beating D-Lo Brown got the job done, not a fan of how obvious you just made how he's coming for a World Championship. Katie Lea Burchill beating Mickie James and Melina is fine, would have been a decent womens match. Rey Mysterio beating William Regal is a good match, Mysterio with the win was expected though. Vince McMahon's promo was good, strange how Vince was happy that Rob Van Dam brutalized Shane though. JBL's interruption was cool, intriguing situation now. RVD and JBL in a feud would be cool. Bryan Danielson and Ted Dibiase would have had a good match ,liked the screwy finish and how it set up the World Tag Team Championship match. Shawn Michaels doesn't need the belts though. Legacy should have retained. Cannot see MVP as a decent WWE Champion. Like the VIP Lounge and how it closed out RAW, did like Randy Orton's involvement in MVP and Cena's feud. Overall, decent show with several decisions I'd change. The font size irritates me.

I liked the last man standing match to kick off the show. Quick excitement to the show is always a good thing, especially if it doesn’t happen often. The legacy promo towards Stephanie was alright, I suppose. Punk over Brown isn’t surprising at all. I’d love to see a Punk/Cena feud in 2008. Rey/Regal would be a fun match and the idea of a three way between Punk, Rey and Burke over the IC Title is interesting. I enjoyed the RVD/JBL/Shane/Vince segment and I might read previous shows to fully grasp what is going on between Shane and Vince. Very interesting segment. Nice title win for Michaels and Danielson . I had a feeling we would at least see the tag titles on the line considering Mike’s statement. Very nice ending to the show. I hope that MVP retains over Cena at the pay per view. Solid show, Hammers. Enjoyable read with some interesting feuds taking place.

9/16/08 - Nashville, Tennessee
Following the usual entrance video to ECW on Sci-Fi, a graphic appears on the screen showing the main event tonight will be ECW Champion, Tommy Dreamer taking on R-Truth in non title action. The commentators welcome everyone to the first 90-minute edition of ECW on Sci Fi as the opening match then gets under way as Tony Chimel introduces The Second City Saints of Colt Cabana and Ace Steel. Cabana has been seen on ECW for a few weeks now, and during the entrance of the team, a box segment took place in the corner where Cabana introduced Steel to the audience. Cabana warned the audience that while he’s fun loving and all about having a good time, Steel is a bit of a party pooper and takes things too seriously.
1) La Resistance defeated. The Second City Saints - La Resistance got a bit of a pop, more so by the commentators who put over the fact that they are former tag team champions from a few years back and that they haven’t team together in quite some time. Dupree and Grenier showed no team rust but certainly didn’t dominate the match as Cabana and Steel had their moments in the match as well. A fun opener t the show, as La Resistance put Cabana away with the double team move they call, “bonsoir” a Double Spinebuster.
The cameras turn to the back where John Morrison and The Miz were watching the previous match on a television screen. They are interrupted by Lena Yada who asks the men their thoughts on more tag teams appearing on ECW. They say they it doesn’t matter to them if 100 different tag teams show up in ECW, none of them will ever be cool enough to show up at the palace of wisdom.
The cameras return to the ring where ECW Cruiserweight Champion, Jamie Noble joins Mike Adamle & Tazz at the commentators table. The entrance music of Evan Bourne hits, as he makes his entrance for the following match.
2) Evan Bourne defeated. Super Crazy and Nunzio - If you know your ECW history, you’d recall Super Crazy and Nunzio having some real memorable triple threat style matches with Tajiri back in the day, so it was pretty cool to see them going at it again, this time with rising star, Evan Bourne. A real fun match that was given a surprising amount of time, probably thanks to the extra 30 minutes the show recently got. The finish to the match eventually arrived with Evan Bourne hitting the Shooting Star Press on Super Crazy to pick up the victory.
Following the match, ECW Cruiserweight Champion, Jamie Noble left the announce table and entered the ring. He offered his hand to Evan Bourne who shook it, only for Noble to kick Bourne in the gut and follow it up with the Tiger Bomb. Noble raised the Cruiserweight title in the air over Bourne showing his dominance as ECW cut to commercial.
Back from commercial break, former ECW Champion, The Big Show makes his way to the ring as a graphic appears on the screen showing that at No Mercy, Big Show is going to get his championship rematch as he faces the current champion, Tommy Dreamer, in an Extreme Rules match.
3) The Big Show defeated. DJ Gabriel w/ Alicia Fox - Very quick squash match tonight as Gabriel didn’t even manage to get his jacket taken off before Big Show attacked him from behind before connecting with the cobra clutch backbreaker then throwing him across the ring. Big Show wasn’t finished with the disco dancing DJ Gabriel as he grabbed him by the throat and lifted him from the canvas straight in to the air, then slamming him back down with the choke slam. Big Show places one boot on Gabriel’s chest while standing for the cover and picks up the victory.
The cameras cut to the back where Funaki is standing wearing an ECW shirt and holding a microphone, he opens the segment with “Hello, this is Funaki, ECW’s number one announcer!” before ECW Cruiserweight Champion, Jamie Noble appears on screen. Funaki asks Jamie Noble why he attacked Evan Bourne tonight following his match and Noble says that everyone has been calling Evan Bourne a prospect and a future star and he just wanted to prove that Evan Bourne is no better than him and that he has his place at the bottem of the totem pole.
4) Jack Swagger defeated. Charlie Haas - Last week, these two faced in six man tag action, but tonight it was just one on one. A fun back n forth match that mainly revolved around both men being former great amateur wrestlers, but in the end, the size advantage of the reasonable new Jack Swagger got the better of Charlie Haas, and Swagger eventually put Haas away with the Gutwrench Powerbomb to pick up the victory by pinfall.
The cameras cut to the titantron where the Raw Rebound plays showing the way Monday Night Raw kicked off with the Last Man Standing match between Kane and Batista. The video then showed the VIP Lounge with MVP and special guest, Randy Orton where it was announced that at No Mercy, MVP would be defending the WWE Championship against John Cena with Randy Orton as the special guest referee.
Following the video, the cameras cut to the commentators table where they announce that because of what happened on Raw yesterday, Batista and Kane are both recovering at home and are expected to miss several weeks of in ring action, if not more.
Main Event) Tommy Dreamer defeated. R-Truth - Truth has been a bit of a bully since debuting on ECW several months back and feels he deserves to be in the championship picture on ECW, a win against the current champion will surely grant him a title match in the near future. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen for Truth as the champion, Tommy Dreamer took the fight to R-Truth and after a back n forth match with a few near falls, Dreamer slammed Truth with the Dreamer DDT, which was enough for Dreamer to hook the leg and pick up the victory.
Following the bell, Dreamer didn’t have long to celebrate before Big Show’s entrance music hit again. Big Show made his way down to the ring but by the time he got down to the ring, Dreamer was waiting for him with a kendo stick. Dreamer had to turn around, when distracted by R-Truth but a quick kendo shot to the head took care of that. Dreamer turned back around to give his attention to Big Show but he was already in the ring as he wrapped his hand around the throat of Dreamer, and slammed him down to the canvas with the choke slam. Big Show picked up the ECW Championship that was his just 3 weeks ago before dropping it on too Dreamer’s chest as the first 90 minute edition of ECW comes to an end.

ECW on Sci-Fi
Yes, 90-minute ECW. Yay for the SCS. La Resistance picking up the win in their return was obvious. I wonder how they will fit in on ECW 2008. Nice to see you have a good old ECW triple threat match. Loving the idea of the CW title being on ECW. Jamie Noble being the champ is even more awesome. Tommy Dreamer versus Big Show in an Extreme Rules match will work well, like all of Show's ECW 2006 matches. No surprise to see Big Show got the squash win. Dreamer will end up retaining, though. A Bourne/Noble match should be good down the line. Ha ha, Bourne Noble. Good to see Swagger pick up the win, I feel like he should dethrone Dreamer. Good main event, love that you went with the heel Truth option. Dreamer going over was the right call and no shocker with Big Show attacking Dreamer. A decent show overall, and I love the layout. Simple and easy to read.

ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 16th September 2008...Ninety minute episode eh? Interesting. La Resistance beating Ace Steel and Colt Cabana is a solid opening contest, glad that La Resistance got the win though. Never was a fan of people using indy names in the WWE though. The Second City Saints sounds like a generic name here too. This is what is bad about WWE tag teams. Evan Bourne, Super Crazy and Nunzio had an amazing match, should have opened in my mind, and been quite seperated from the opening tag match. Two multi-man matches in a row. Bourne showed he could fit in tremendously with the ECW Originals. Big Show beating DJ Gabriel for entertainment's sake. Yay, Jamie Noble interviewed by Funaki. The spirit of SmackDown! in 2002 remain. Jack Swagger showed strong against Charlie Haas, both with athletic backgrounds in amateur wrestling. Would have been a good match. Tommy Dreamer beating R-Truth was a pretty decent main event, but it wouldn't have entertaned me too much. Big Show and Dreamer's feud doesn't interest me, it reminds me of something we'd see in 2006 on ECW. Overall, nothing too special, but still an interesting show.

BREAKING NEWS! Robert Roode(seen above at this past weeks TNA No Surender PPV) has officially been released from his TNA contract and removed from the websites roster. Beer Money Inc lost the TNA Tag Championships to L.A.X at the PPV because of Roode's leaving after being granted his release.
Jim Ross was asked on his Q&A whether or not WWE would be offering Roode a contract, with his reply being "While I can not speak for who the office offer contracts too, Robert Roode was a bright star in TNA's future and I feel that his leaving will be a big loss for them"
Many were expecting the latest TNA release to be Christian Cage who has been falling down the cards on television, if Cage does leave as well, TNA will have a huge gap to fill.

If you bring Robert Roode in I will cum all over this. He could do wonders for the company.
