Really cool news here. I can't wait to see who Vince's attempted killer is! Summerslam is looking great so far. I liked the fact that Punk turned heel on RAW and a feud with Mysterio would be good. Shame that Danielson didn't make RAW. I like the SFS team I can see them becoming tag team champions at some point. Michaels/Jericho in last man standing will be awesome. This diary is looking great! Carry on with what you are doing, one of the best WWE diaries on this board.
EDIT: I don't know about Jack Black at Wrestlemania but I would love to see Verne Troyer and Hornswoggle feud or something. Maybe Morrison/Miz and Verne Troyer against Hornswoggle/Finlay and someone? Perhaps developmental star Sheamus O Shaugnessy? I dunno why I thought of that but I like it.

29/7/2008 - Hershey, Pennsylvania.
The opening ECW video rolls, followed by some pyrotechnics shooting off at the top of the titantron.
A video is played of last weeks main event where Tommy Dreamer won the #1 contenders match only to be told he wasn't in the match in the first place, ending with Kofi Kingston winning the match.
1) Evan Bourne defeated. Mark Henry - Considering, Mark Henry is basically a main eventer in ECW, many people expected him to come out on top in this match. Henry did dominate most of the match untill the end where Evan surprised Henry with a jumping knee to the jaw. Henry stumbled back allowing Evan to go to the top rope where he dived of, landing both his knees in to the shoulders of Henry, knocking him down to the canvas. Bourne then got the three count to get the surprising victory.
The cameras turn to the back where ECW General Manager, Teddy Long is standing with his assistant, Tiffany. Miz n' Morrison walk in to the room and Morrison starts of the conversation by saying he has an idea involving the title situation in ECW. Just then the cameras turn away from the scene.
2) Tommy Dreamer defeated. Chavo Guerrero w/ Bam Neely - Dreamer was seen to be very angry during this match and he took out all his anger on his opponent. During the match, Chavo looked to get back in controll of the match but Dreamer threw him to the outside of the ring, once on the outside, Neely tried to get involved but Dreamer who pulled a singapore cane out from under the ring, smashed it over the head of Bam Neely. Since Neely was not in the match, the referee couldn't do anything. Once back inside the ring, Chavo tried one last time to get some offense in but Dreamer reversed it and hit the DDT to get the three count.
The cameras turn to the back where Evan Bourne is being congratulated on his victory against Mark Henry by Colt Cabana. Evan is happy with his win but almost straight away, Jake Hagger appears on screen, attacking Bourne from behind. Cabana attempts to help Bourne but gets thrown in to a wall for his trouble. Hagger then proceeds to powerbomb Bourne on a food table before leaving.
3) Ron Truth defeated. Nunzio - This was alot shorter than the other two matches, that's for sure. Truth continued playing the heel, and once again finished the match by connecting with a corkscrew scissors kick.
The cameras turn to the back where Teddy Long appears on screen. He announces that ECW Will be going two hours the first show after Unforgiven along with going to a new network. Teddy says that to celebrate this, next week there would be a new title brought in to ECW next week.
A video is played hyping the debut of "The Predator" Slyvester Terkay
4) Kofi Kingston, Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy defeated. The Big Show, Carlito & Eddie Colon - great six man tag main event for ECW this week. A large portion of the match was spent on Big Show, Carlito and Eddie Colon working on Jeff Hardy on their corner of the ring before Jeff managed to get the hot tag to his brother Matt. Matt was on a roll for a minute or two before being kicked in the face by Big Show. The match eventually ended with Kingston connecting with Trouble in Paridise on Eddie Colon out of no where to get the count as Jeff and Matt dived over the ropes to take out Big Show and Carlito. After the bell, the three winners celebrated as Kofi pointed towards Big Show's ECW title.

Cool to see ECW going two hours, hopefully this means that it will be somewhat on par with RAW and SmackDown. Great main event, and it was cool to see the Hardy Boyz, along with Kingston getting the win. Bourne over Henry is great, and I hope his push continues. A feud between him and Hagger could be cool. Cool to see Dreamer showing heelish tendencies during his match, a full on heel turn would be cool.

1/8/08 - Hershey, Pennsylvania.
The Friday Night SmackDown! opening video plays, followed by some pyrotechnics and then Jim Ross and Mick Foley welcoming us to TV that is changing Friday nights!
1) Maria defeated. Michelle McCool, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Layla, Maryse and Cherry to earn the right to face Natalya at SummerSlam for the Diva's Championship. The match quality of this wasn't great, but the crowd ate it up, and they found it really enjoyable. SmackDown!'s newest Diva, Maria got the victory after hitting Layla with a Bulldog. Maria celebrated like crazy in the ring as Natalya shook her head in disgust.
The camera cut to the backstage area where we see Josh Matthews with Nick Nemeth and Kenny Dykstra along with their huge bodyguard, Big Rob. Nemeth and Dykstra brag about their victory over The HooliganZ last week, and they say that Paul and Brian went to Vickie Guerrero and requested a rematch for this week. They say they don't back down from a challenge, and tonight they will once again defeat them.
2) "The Natural" Nick Nemeth and Kenny Dykstra (w/ Big Rob) defeated. The HooliganZ, Paul London and Brian Kendrick. I haven't enjoyed a tag team bout like this one in so long. The action was fast and hard hitting and went back and forth the entire contest. Nemeth distracted the referee long enough for Big Rob to get into the ring and push London into Kendrick's back. Kendrick turned around and pushed London before Kendrick turned around and received a wicked sitout powerbomb. Dykstra then climbed on top of Kendrick and Nemeth held London down on the outside, stopping him from breaking the count. Dykstra got the three count, and him, Rob and Nemeth celebrated on the ramp as Paul helped Kendrick to his feet. Kendrick glared at London as we cut to a commercial.
3) Jeff Hardy defeated. Eddie Colon. The brothers were banned from ringside for this match, which helped make it a fair one on one contest. Eddie was sloppy at times but that seems to be the case in his matches. The match continued with both men sharing the momentum untill Jeff missed the "Whisper in the wind" because of Colon side stepping it. Colon looked to finish the match with Spike DDT by the looks of it but Jeff countered it in to the "Twist of Fate" to pick up the victory.
The camera quickly cuts to the back, and the cameraman appears to be running. He stops and we see Brian Kendrick storming out of the arena, without Paul London. He puts his suitcase in the trunk of his car and speeds off. We see Paul running after the car telling him to wait up. Paul kicks his case over in anger as we cut to ringside.
4) Vladimir Kozlov defeated. Festus (w/ Jesse). The smart thing here was that Kozlov attacked Festus before the bell and began stomping away to a defenseless Festus. When Festus is unconscious, Kozlov makes the referee ring the bell. He then hits Festus with a reverse DDT for the win. Jim Ross and Mick Foley announce that they have been informed by SmackDown! General Manager Vickie Guerrero that Carlito and his younger brother, Eddie Colon will team up to take on Matt and Jeff Hardy at SummerSlam! 5) Shelton Benjamin defeated. Mr. Kennedy. This match had no backstory to it but it was a fantastic match none the less. Shelton was going in to this match knowing he defeated Triple H last week in the main event thus he was quite confident. Both men fought back and forth but in the end, Mr. Kennedy attempted the Mic Check only for Shelton to get out of it, get behind Kennedy and connect with a backslide pin. Shelton placed his legs on the ropes for extra leverage and it was enough to give him the three count. Benjamin left the ring straight away as Kennedy got up to his feet, looking annoyed. Jamie Noble was shown backstage complaining to a backstage worker that the Cruiserweight talent on Smackdown! are no match for him. Teddy Long approaches him and tells him that he couldn't help over hear him about the talent on Smackdown! not being in his league. Long invites Noble to come to ECW this Tuesday. He reminds him to bring his title. Holla, Holla, Holla! 6) Triple H defeated. Umaga & The Great Khali by disquallification. Tiple H clearly had trouble with this match being against two bigger men but he did fight back when he could. For most of the match, Khali and Umaga domiated with tiny spots of Triple H fighting back only to be dropped on the canvas. Near the end, Triple H began to fight back, managing to lift Umaga up for the Double A Spine Buster. During this time, Khali decided that he should enter the ring and he wrapped his hands around Triple H's head. After being stuck in the vice grip for a few moments, the referee rung the bell for a disquallification because Khali wasn't the legal man. After the bell, Umaga and Khali continued to attack Triple H untill the lights in the arena went out. When the came back on, The Undertaker was standing behind Khali. 'Taker began swinging punches at Khali and Umaga before kicking Umaga out of the ring. 'Taker looked to chokeslam Khali but out of nowhere, Edge speared 'Taker to the canvas. Smackdown then goes of the air with Triple H and The Undertaker layed out on the canvas as Edge, Khali and Umaga stand tall in the ring.

Smackdown looked pretty cool! Surprised Maria won. Summerslam looks good although I don't think Triple H would be shoved aside like that.

SmackDown was another solid show. The main event was a great way to build towards Summerslam, and I really look forward to the Taker/ Edge match. Shelton/ Kennedy was a cool match, and I was pretty cool with either one winning, hopefully one of them gets a main event run soon. Jeff/ Colon sounded like a good match, and it's great to see the Hardys/ Colons feud getting built up. Great to see Nemeth & Dykstra getting the win. I don't like that Maria got the win, since I would have liked to have seen one of the divas that can actually put on a watchable match get the win.

4/8/08 - Knoxville, TN. The Raw opening video plays, followed by some pyro and Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcoming us to the broadcast. They hype tonights show, and we get straight into the action. 1) Elijah Burke defeated. Bryan Danielson, Cody Rhodes and Santino Marella to face D'Lo Brown for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at a later date - Santino cut a great promo before the match, talking about all his opponents tonight, even using something called the "HONK-A-METER" which was hilarious. Burke has been getting pushed alot since his Raw debut at this years draft, and he's done nothing but impress since his debut. He got the win after htting Marella with the "Elijah Express" to face D'Lo for the gold. D'Lo rose from the commentators table as Burke motioned that he is coming for the gold. We cut backstage where we see the recently turned heel CM Punk standing cockily with his Money In The Bank briefcase with Todd Grisham. Punk trashes Rey Mysterio during the interview, and says he'll be keeping a close eye on Rey's match tonight. 2) Mickie James defeated. "The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix - The WWE Womens Champion took to the ring for a solid womens match against the stronger, Beth Phoenix ahead of her Champion vs. Champion match against SmackDown!'s Natalya this coming Friday when SmackDown! moves to My Network TV. Phoenix looked to have this in the bag with the "Glam Slam" but Mickie reversed it into a roll-up for the pinfall. 3) The Samoan Fight Squad (Afa Jr. and Sonny Siaki) defeated. Deuce and Domino - The tag team divisions on both Raw and SmackDown! have both been really getting good as of late, in my opinion. The duo of Siaki and Afa work well together, and have some really good looking double team moves. Deuce and Domino looked ruthless tonight, and looked to have the match in the bag on a few ocassions, but The Samoan Fight Squad got the victory after Siaki slammed Deuce with the "Siakalypse". The cameras cut to the back, where we see Todd Grisham backstage with Victoria. Todd asks Victoria about her assault on the Women's Champion, Mickie James last week on Raw after Mickie defeated Jillian Hall. Victoria tells Todd that Mickie is a walking target and she's carrying what rightfully belongs to her - the Women's Championship. Victoria says that she'll be one of numerous lumberjills this coming Friday when Mickie takes on her best friend forever, Natalya. Victoria says she can't wait to see Natalya make Mickie tap out. Victoria raises an 8x10 photo of Mickie and stares at it psychotically, and rips it in two. 4) Rey Mysterio defeated. Robbie McAllister (w/ Rory McAllister) - It was safe to say that from the get go that Rey had this match in the bag. Rey made quick work of Robbie and got the win after a "West Coast Pop" to which Robbie landed awkwardly on his head. When the match was over, Kane came storming to the ring and tossed Robbie over and big booted Rory. He then grabbed Rey by the mask and hit him with a huge Chokeslam. CM Punk then came walking to the ring, laughing as Kane continued to pound Rey with big shots. Punk got into the ring and went to join Kane in pounding Rey, but Kane pushed Punk down, letting him know he doesn't want his help. Batista then came sprinting to the ring and took out Punk with a big clothesline before spearing down Kane, and then Kane quickly rolled out of the ring. Shane McMahon then made his way to the ramp and announced that at SummerSlam it will be Kane taking on Batista and Rey Mysterio will be taking on CM Punk. Shane then told Batista to get ready for his match against MVP which is tonights main event. Backstage we see Bryan Danielson holding an ice pack to his forehead. He has a towel slung over his shoulder and he's sitting on an equipment box. Lance Cade approaches him and Danielson quickly stands up off the box and tells Cade to beat it. Cade tells Danielson he's not going to do anything to him, but he's only there to tell him to tell Shawn Michaels that after SummerSlam he'll be in a hospital bed. All of a sudden, Chris Jericho blindsides Danielson from behind and him and Cade begin to beat away at him. Jericho picks up the ice pack and breaks it over Danielson's head before locking in the Walls of Jericho as Cade stomps away at Danielson's head. A smug Lance Cade and Chris Jericho stop and head off as EMT's and referees attend to a clearly hurt Danielson. 5) Montel Vontavious Porter defeated. Batista - This was a solid main event match, and MVP continues to shine week in, week out. Batista set MVP up for the Batista Bomb, but Kane's pyro went off on the ring turnbuckles and Batista tossed Porter to the side. MVP got up and went to clothesline Batista but Batista ducked, and MVP hit the referee instead. Batista then tossed Porter into the corner and began to pound away at him. MVP fell to the ground as Batista worked the crowd, and while Batista wasn't looking, MVP put a metal block at the bottom of his boot. He kicked Batista and tossed him into the corner and hit the Player's Boot with the metal block connecting with Batista, and instantly busting him open. Porter removed the block and tossed it out of the ring and pinned Batista for the three count. Afterwards, MVP taunted the crowd at ringside for around 30 seconds before quickly heading up the ramp as Batista got to his feet. MVP bumped into John Cena on the ramp, and Cena knocked MVP down and then tossed him back into the ring where Batista hit MVP with the Batista Bomb. Cena and Batista celebrated as the show ends.

Awesome to see this back, now let's get down to booking this bad boy. Decent way to kick off this edition of WWE RAW, the fatal-4-way match is a great way to kick things off all the time, and for a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship, that rocks. Unsure about Bryan Danielson being in WWE however, especially in the IC title range, unless you've really pushed him to the max. D'Lo Brown being the Intercontinental Champion is nice. Heel CM Punk seems very nice, a feud with Rey Mysterio is greatness. Mickie James beating Beth Phoenix is decent but I feel it should of been on pay-per-view, now that would make a good pay-per-view quality contest. Afa Jr and Sonny Siaki teaming as the Samoan Fight Squad beating Deuce N Domino is fine but I hope you begin to push Deuce N Domino as well. Rey Mysterio beating Robbie McAllister is a good way to put over Mysterio. The feud with Batista and Kane adds more to it, also. Liked the interaction that Shawn Michaels and Bryan Danielson had, Chris Jericho blind-sighting him is alright. MVP beating Batista is good and all but as much as I hate to see John Cena as WWE Champion, I'd prefer him over MVP as I feel MVP isn't too ready.

-The opening 4-Way is nice and I love that Burke is getting a title show. I liked that you have Bryan Danielson even more. -Mickie winning the non-title match is fine although she's won like that before and I had Melina win like that. -The Samoan Fight Club is a cool tag team. Great move bringing in Sonny Siaki. -The Mysterio/Punk/Kane/Batista thing is interesting. -I smell Danielson & HBK vs. Jericho & Cade, which would be good. -I love that you're pushing MVP and the whole metal block thing was a good way to have him win. I look forward to SummerSlam.
-Reply to my WWE '08-'09 if you get a chance

Not sure about throwing out the Honk-a-Meter just like that. I hope Burke wins the IC title as he's much more of a champion than D'Lo is. Mickie winning is fine, and I like Mickie-Natalya for the network debut, similar to what the WWE ended up doing. Samoan Fight Squad is a decent idea, and I like Siaki getting air time. I like Victoria being psycho and all, but I really doubt there's any way that she would be in the title picture again. Ok stuff with Rey although it's weird to see him of all people get a squash match. I like the idea of Jericho/Cade setting up Danielson backstage like that. Nice way to finish Raw with the #1 contender winning by cheating. I also like Cena/Batista standing tall at the end because it makes the viewer forget really that Batista lost. Cena/MVP seems like a good title match, and I can see them having good segments in the coming weeks.

_____________________________________________ - It's being rumoured that there will be several new workers called up from Florida Championship Wrestling in the near future. FCW Diva, Roucka is expected to be called up to be involved in a major storyline happening on SmackDown right now. However, there's no word on what the storyline she'll be involved in is. DH Smith and TJ Wilson are also expected to make their anticipated debut and re-debut shortly. I've been recieving word that there is big plans for Sylvester Terkay who re-signed with the company a couple of weeks back. A hype video was played for Terkay on ECW this past week.
- This Friday's edition of SmackDown will be aired for the first time on MyNetworkTV. The company has been preparing for the move for around two months now, and the show will have appearances from Superstars from Raw, ECW and obviously SmackDown. It's been confirmed that Women's Champion Mickie James will take on Diva's Champion Natalya in a singles match, and every Diva will surround the ring. World Tag Team Champions, Mike DiBiase and Ted DiBiase Jr. take on the WWE Tag Team Champions, Finlay and Sheamus and the main event has been revealed as ECW Champion The Big Show vs. WWE Champion John Cena vs. World Heavyweight Champion Edge!
- No matches are expected to be added to the SummerSlam card, as it looks to be a finalized card. It was originally planned for D'Lo Brown to defend his Intercontinental title against Elijah Burke at the event, but plans where scrapped and that match will most likely take place at Unforgiven or on an edition of Raw.

5/8/2008 - Atlanta, Georgia.
A video plays recapping what happened between Jamie Noble and Theodre Long this past Friday on SmackDown where Long invited Noble to ECW to defend the Cruiserweight Championship.
1) WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Jamie Noble defeated. Evan Bourne to retain his title - This was a fantastic encounter by both men, and went on for a good 8 minutes. Bourne almost had the match won several times, but Noble managed to survive. Bourne's rival, Jake Hager came running to the ring and got into the ring while Noble distracted the referee. Hager hit Bourne with the Doctor Bomb and left through the crowd and Noble then locked in the Trailer Park Hitch and Bourne tapped.
Theodre Long and his assistant Tiffany come to the ring as we cut to the first commercial of the evening. When we return, Long and Tiffany are in the ring and Long thanks Noble for coming to ECW to defend his title. Noble tells Long it's his pleasure, he'll come anyday since he gets a match on ECW, but he doesn't on SmackDown. Long says his match with Evan was fantastic although was ruined by the interference of Jake Hager. Long says Hager and Bourne will lock up sooner rather than later. Long presents Noble with a contract and says he reliased his contract with SmackDown expired on Saturday night. Noble signs the contract and shakes hands with Long, and Long announces him and the Cruiserweight title as the newest additions to ECW.
2) Kofi Kingston defeated. Big Daddy V - This match wasn't the best of matches, but the crowd enjoyed it. Big Daddy V dominated Kofi early in the match, but Kofi showed that he won't go down without a fight, even kicking out of a splash from V. Big Daddy V then set Kofi up for a Samoan Drop but Kofi escaped his grip and connected with the Trouble in Paradise and pinned V for the win. Afterwards, we see The Big Show standing backstage with the ECW title slung over his shoulder. He shakes his head in disapproval.
Lena Yada was standing backstage with John Morrison and The Miz. They basically put themselves over, and their WWE.com Show, The Dirt Sheet aswell as John Morrison's main event match against Matt Hardy.
3) Matt Hardy defeated. John Morrison (w/ The Miz) - A fantastic main event to end the show. Both men are great in-ring workers, and the duo of The Miz and John Morrison are fantastic. They are great heels. Hardy hit the Twist of Fate for the win. Afterwards, The Miz tried to attack Matt, but he fended him off and then Morrison attacked him. Jeff Hardy made the save, and sent Mizorrison packing. The Colon Brothers met Mizorrison at the top of the ramp, looking frustrated.

Nice way to open up ECW with a cruiser title match. At least Bourne lost because of interference. Interesting there to put the cruiser title on ECW; I think it fits there more. Good win for Kofi because it proves that he can beat big opponents. The Predator? Wonder what that's about. Solid main event, although I was pulling for Morrison to get the W.

ECW was very good, I enjoyed it a lot. Noble and the Cruiserweight gold on ECW is great, opens up a lot of chances. Good main event, with a good aftermath. I'm looking forward to the next show.
