I thought that some of you might be interested in a new Build N Brawl custom using WWE Rumblers. I have been stuck trying to figure out how to construct a head for a custom Alberto Del Rio, and noticed that the Rumblers heads will work with this line. Let me know what you guys think.

cool custom. I wasn't aware the rumblers heads work so well for these. I may have to browse the rumblers when I stop by WalMart tomorrow.

Thanks for the feedback guys! The heads on the Rumblers do tend to look cartoonish, so I don't think that all of them would work with the BnB line. I did happen to get lucky with the Alberto Del Rio, I used a Morrison body and HHH legs & waist due to the matching skin tone. I should note that the peg holes on the rumblers are pretty deep, so I ended up using Loctite, steady hands and a good amount of patience but I think the end result was pretty good.
Should have pics of some more customs coming soon!

its a shame LOD never got made =\ Yes I would have loved to bought a LOD build n brawl set. I've made my own LOD, or I'm currently working on them...not quite finished yet. As soon as I can get a day off I'm planning on taking some pics of all my custom Build n Brawls and posting for you guys. Maybe my LOD will be finished by then.

I'd like to create a *simple * point based system that introduces an element of chance into a wrestling match between 2 figures. Technically this game is for my nephew but in my heart it's for me Between the educational element and cards i might print this should add to his / our enjoyment Point Scale : 1 to 4 Categories :Strength / Damage - 1 (low) , 2 (average) , 3 (powerhouse - Ultimate Warrior or. Goldberg) and 4 (high - Monster. Example - Big Show or Lesnar) Speed - 1 (slow) , 2 (average) 3 (fast) 4 (...Sin Cara?) Wrestling Ability - 1 (lumbering oaf) , 2 (brawler) , 3 (some skill) and 4 (Bret Hart) Bonus Stat's:Championship Experience *Only the title that has the highest point value is used . Heavyweight Championship or WWE Title = 3 points Intercontinental Title = 2 points Tag Team or "other" title = 1 point Example Match:
Roddy Piper vs. The Big Show Piper : Strength = 2 , Speed = 2 , Wrestling Ability = 3 , Championship Experience = 2 (Intercontinental Title ) Total Score: 9 pointsBig Show: Strength = 4 , Speed = 1 , Wrestling Ability = 2, Championship Experience = 3 (WHC/WWE Title ) Total Score: 10 pointsThe Element of chance: A die is rolled once by each player. The number rolled is added to the wrestlers total point score . Roddy Piper rolls a 5 (Total Score 14 pts) Big show Rolls a 3 (Total Score 13 pts) Surprise outcome.... in this example Roddy Piper beats The Big Show. __________________________________________________ My question to you - How can i improve this system while still keeping it simple ? New categories ? Different point spreads? More than one die roll? Remember this will be played by kids (nephew and his buddies primarily. Myself when i have some time with him) so i want it to be simple and fast paced (i.e. read the Wrestlers point value and add the number rolled). Hopefully some of us collectors will enjoy it as well though so i'd love your input.

I'm really hoping that Mattel brings this line back. I have every BNB figure that was made, packed away, and reading this thread makes me want to bust them out again. I too was upset about LOD not being made, so hopefully if Mattel proceeds with this line, they'd be made. This scale is very popular now for many different lines, so hopefully it will happen.

Nice ADR custom. I'm curious though, how does the reverse look? That is; how does a BnB head look on a Rumbler body?
I'm hoping to make future Batista, Scott Hall, JBL & Regal rumblers and I was hoping to use BnB heads for this.
Thanks!

That Alberto looks fantastic! How does he look next to other BnBs? I'd love to see you try it with Jack Swagger and Wade Barrett, too.

The rumblers faces are a little more cartoonish, and the peg holes are very deep, more so that the Gi Joe and Star Wars lines so getting them to work takes a little bit of skill and some strong glue! As for Reversing the two, using a BnB head on a rumbler body you would first have to drill out the BNB head, but I'm sure it's possible.

Has a Build N Brawl custom figure parts list thread been created? If not i think we can use one .
I'm preparing to make a few classics and i'm unsure as to what heads i'll use (for Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior in this case). Seeing the recipes / parts list used by other Build N Brawl customizers who have already done this would be helpful .

With limited options for creating new custom figures this could help out some of the less experienced people as well as help those of us who may be stuck trying to figure out the final piece to a custom figure. For example my custom Alberto Del Rio figure consisted of a John Morrison Torso, HHH Legs and waist and an Alberto Del Rio Head from the Rumblers line. I know some people have used a John Morrison head to create a custom warrior, and I have seen a Hogan made from a Randy Couture head.
