Wait...people think he isn't dead? The odds of Heath Ledger coming back are better than Two Face. No, because Heath Ledger is actually dead. I'm not saying Two-Face/Harvey Dent is alive, or dead Still 50/50 on the situation. But can you honestly show me definitive evidence that he is dead? Nothing will be known 100% until it's announced, if it ever is. Thats the point of nothing being shown during his funeral/Gordon's speech (whichever it is), leaves that "what if"/"maybe" factor. Which will drive people to go see the 3rd, if there is one. Alright, off to watch "21". Need to finally sit down and watch this movie before Tuesday. - Triple S

Two-Face is most definitely dead. Read the novelization.

i thought when i watched it that it's possible that he's not dead, but i knew if he wasn't they would have mentioned how they'd dealt with him...i wish they hadn't killed him off, tbh...i even wish he killed jim gordon's son, since i don't remember him having one! haha. he had just gotten out of a hospital and was not fully healed, the fall obviously would have hurt him much more. i dunno, i remember his one eye was open, his bad one still...so it made me think he was unvonsciuos. but i guess he probably didn't have an eyelid. lol
btw, i was very dissapointed that gordon didn't smoke..i mean, i understand they try to not advertise tobacco use in movies these days but it's JIM GORDON and he could have a pipe or something, not a smoke.

lol i agree i think they should of had two-face kill gordons son, would of added more depth/darkness to dent's character. but since joker is only in jail or arkym i mean he could still be in the next film

Saw it for the second time at 12:30am last night (this morning) and this time I was able to pay attention much more to the story/symbolism. I agree that the coin landing good side up (it's a double headed coin) is indication that Dent lived. Considering he flipped for Batman's fate, then went to flip for his fate. Both in which landed good side up. But at the same time, he could would have lived anyways... but maybe Batman killed Harvey Dent for no reason. Who knows yet. The "Are we talking pitbulls or chiwawas (sp?)? It'll protect from cats." seems like a symbolism/foreshadowing of Catwoman. Please, please, if they do... do not make it Berry. If the "E. Nigma" nameplate is true, awesome. I personally think (like I said), they should redo all of the movies, but with the mind and vision of Nolan. Especially "Batman Forever" and "Batman & Robin". Make these movies dark like they should be and do the characters justice. Two-Face lives and forms the duo with the Riddler. Either way, if we get a 3rd from Nolan... great. If not... thats ok, too. This one has left a good enough taste in everyone's mouth, where we don't NEED another film. - Triple S but it landed face up when he was flipping for Gordon... I doubt that was foreshadowing him being alive. The story is complete with his death... It made him a hero... that's the whole point. a lot of things would be ruined if they brought him back.

Is it sad that I want to see this movie a second time? lol
Anyway, why is alot of people hating on Bale? I personally think it is cool that he seperates his voice and the Batman voice and I think he is the second best Bruce Wayne/Batman actor next to Keaton.

Yep, he's also not credited in writing the story or the screenplay for the film. Which means if it is based off of his story(haven't read it), they had to alter it enough so they wouldn't be sued. The film left it a mystery, there was nothing that concluded that he died.

Anyone know where I can find Jokers "theme song". It was quite disturbing. Seriously. I can't wait to get the soundtrack for this film. Everytime I heard Jokers theme I got chills thinking "wtf is going to happen now?"

I watched it a second time today. I looked for the E. Nigma name badge but didn't see it. Either its REALLY hard to spot or that guy was just lying.
The first time I saw it I thought for sure Two Face is dead. After the second viewing, however, I can kinda see why people think he isn't. There are a lot of subtle clues that make you second guess. I can honestly see them trying to pull a twist like that, just in case they wanted to use him again. Plus, and correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a storyline in the comics at one point where they DID fake Two Face's death, so Gotham would never know what he had done, and locked him up secretly?

Loved every single minute of it. Heath was incredible in this. He made the joker funny/scary and intimidating. I also loved how The Joker could actually kick ass in this movie and not have his thugs do all his dirty work for him. Two-Face looked awsome. I really hope Nolan and Bale decide to do at least one more Batman film because it's be a shame if they just ended the series as is with Batman on the run from the cops. Hell even if they don't come back, I'm sure someone else will come in to direct. I just also had to add that I absolutly loved when The Joker made his first IN costume appearance in the Gang meeting. The ay he entered the room was so badass and brilliant. Heath had great timing. Batman himself looked great on the BatPod and I loved when he drove up the wall and turned around. I plan on seeing this again next week

My favorite song from the soundtrack is probably Why So Serious and Introduce a little Anarchy.
