Ah, I see. I thought you meant like, THE ending, with Dent/Batman/Gordon, then Batman riding away. Everyone seems to think that Mr. Reese is Riddler My feeling about this is that if that was the case they would have cast a bigger name for that role considering they are going to have to anchor the next movie. Even Cillian Murphy was a big enough name for a Batman villain. They could have cast someone big for that role (of Reese). Agreed. I mean, Nolan doesn't cast HUGE names, but it certainly would have been a bigger, and better one than the guy who played Reese.

That being said, if Nolan goes with the Riddler then I can see Reese being heavily interrogated and intimidated via some riddle laced questioning. Would tie in nice with Nolan's "one story, one world" concept he's got going.

So I just got back from showing #2 and had some other ideas:
- Two Face will totally be back - Penguin may be introduced to reunite the mob - Gordon's son will become Robin

Just saw it a second time and I loved it as much, if not more than, the first. I picked up on little things i missed the first time around.
While I agree you have to watch it more than once to really appreciate Aaron Eckhart's performance, I still can't go as far as to say he was as good as Heath Ledger.
Just an all around incredible movie, I never thought I'd say that a superhero movie may go down as one of the greatest movies of all time, but I think that may be the case here.

I agree, now that I know what's going on, I want to see it multiple times to follow each major storyline...Wayne, Joker, Dent, and Gordon.

Hmmm, I think I noticed today that Joker sent Batman to 250 52nd to save Rachel, which turned out to be Harvey. Then, at the end, when Dent tells Gordon to meet him at 250 52nd, he says it's the place where his family (Rachel) died. Dent was at 250 52nd, not Rachel, right?

I could be wrong, but I believe the Joker told Batman that Harvey was at 250 52nd street, which means that it was actually Rachel, so Harvey telling Gordon to meet him there makes sense.

Gordon's son will not be Robin. I dunno. I mean the past two movies he's been up Batman's ass, and seems to like him more than his father. I'm not saying it would be in the 3rd film, but definitely down the road I could see it happening. Hell I'd rather have that over Batgirl or the stupid flying Grayson family tragedy. I also have no clue what Alfred says on the boat...I hear Russian and sunscreen. I think he's saying something sarcastically about not wanting to do it.

I don't se how the Grayson's dying is any worse a story than Jim Gordon's son randomly becoming Batman. The reason he took on Robin is because he saw a gimpse of his own tragedy in what happened, and he wanted to help him.
Batgirl is kind of a lame character, but she ends up being pretty awesome after she gets crippled.
